So, we went in for lunch, the music was a bit too loud. The Enchiladas Plobalnas were very good. The Flautas very meaty and the right amount of crisp. We got full really quick cause we ate the Chips and salsa. So we asked for a to go box. :-( they brought is flimsy to go desert box.... Over all very good food. Will be coming back.

It is Chispas Time! The wait is over! El Mirasol in Boerne has opened its doors today! It is safe to say that we were the very first ones to walk in! 😬 We were cheerfully greeted by Franco and Fernanda and all the smiley hosts. Service from all the staff was exceptional, especially our gracious and attentive server, Diana. We were checked on often by her and other staff members. Our food was soo good, believe this Mexican-American that lived in Mexico and experienced real Mexican food and culture. Pictured here is Guacamole w Chicharron de Ribeye🤤, Chicken Soup w lots of pollo, Taquitos Rancheros and Churros. All of our food was full of flavor and so colorful! We were there again on El Mirasol’s “First Friday” “First” Friday for El Mirasol! Full house when we arrived. Franco spotted and warmly greeted and offered us drinks while we waited for a table. We were seated within 30 minutes. We proceeded to order our appetizers, the mandatory fresh guacamole w ribeye, chicken and beef fajita nachos, these were loaded! We got to enjoy chispas and a delicious dinner, more chispas 😁 We have bern enjoying El Mirasol’s delicious food for years now, since their Blanco location and visit their other two locations often with friends. I really love the consistency of the food presentation and flavors. We love the atmosphere, relaxed, fun & vibrant. We are so excited for this new location in our Rancho. Ask for Franco when visiting this location for an exceptional experience, you will be treated with the best service. #FoodiesAndRealEstate

Another great experience! We came at 5:40pm on Friday without a reservation or calling ahead and were quoted 30 minutes for a table, understandably. We were sat 30 min later and were warmly greeted by Mercedes. Ordered a Chispa (of course!) and Chiveche to start and we have to say, the best we’ve had in a long time! Pescas Enchiladas and Un Poquito de Todo for entrees, and tried not to leave a bite behind. Can’t wait to come back and bring friends!

This place was great!! Very clean and inviting. The just opened the door and greeted us as we entered. The waiter Fernando was attentive, patience and informative. Fernando made the experience great. The food was delicious. The mole and the fajitas were spot on. The tres leche desert melted in your mouth.

We had such a good time here! Our waiter Angel, remembered our order from last time! The atmosphere was amazing, our kids were entertained the whole time! They were playing outside and did not bother us. But don’t worry they have a fence so that they are safe. Their food tasted gourmet, it was warm and tasty 😋 You should go here but be warned, the food will be the best you ever had in your life. You should also request Angel because he is truly an angel! 😇

Walking distance from my daughter's first apartment, we eat here about monthly. Service is always good and the food is always perfect. She always gets floutas, and theirs are very good compared to many other restaurants. This time I went for the salmon and opted for the cilantro cream sauce. It comes with the salad and white rice, which makes an appetizingly colorful plate. Salad was lightly dressed, rice was fluffy, and the salmon was cooked to perfection - not dry or rare. I absolutely loved the cilantro cream sauce, it was excellent on the rice, too. Upon closer examination, I could see the bubbles rising rapidly to the surface - as if it had immediately been blended on high speed and poured into the serving cup. IDK how quickly the sauce starts to spoil that it would require blending in bubbles to be the final plating step, but half the cup of sauce was air, and that affected the still very creamy texture on the tongue. It would be lavish tongue texture without the bubbles (just strain it once). I know I'm nit picking about bubbles in the sauce. Everything else was perfection, and I'm not cutting stars over something that was mostly esoteric in nature. And, I will return, and I will have the same dish again on another visit. It's a great restaurant with excellent food and good service! Most of the time we visit, it is not so crowded. There were tables available, but most of the tables were full. The noise level was much higher than when it's only half full. Still able to carry on a conversation, but required a bit more attention to the conversation (not a bad thing) than normal. Still a good dinner date destination.

The staff, waiters, managers are all very attentive and do an outstanding job. Excellent food and service. The Chispas (Margaritas) are very good. Managers, Franco, Jose, waiter Oscar were top notch employees and very knowledgeable, professional and interactive with our table. Thank you.

Our experience was a 10/10. They knocked it out of the park. The food was delicious and the service was even better. There were several people constantly checking on us, refilling drinks, and bringing chips. We felt truly cared for. The flavors of everything were so, so good and complex, and the prices were extremely fair. We will absolutely be back!!

We really enjoyed our visit today! Started with the chispa flight---um...YUM!! I tried the regular, peach, strawberry and chambord flavors. All delicious. I tried the dish Un pocito de todo--a little of everything. It had borracho beans, spanish rice, carne Asada taco, quesadilla, taquito, and cheese enchiladas. Everything was so good! For dessert, we shared the churros. We were so pleased with everything we tried. And German was an attentive and helpful server. We will be back!

Wonderful upscale restaurant with excellent food & service. Loved their lobster and shrimp enchiladas and shrimp tacos. We join friends here after church. We will definitely be back. They have been open since September 2023 so give them a try. Highly recommend this restaurant to join friends or group in a beautiful location that’s convenient to the highway.

GOODNESS! This place is crazy good. So stoked that we were finally able to check it out. The service was quick and very consistent. The flavor and presentation of the food was wonderful. And the serving sizes are huge! Just be careful not to fill up too much on the chips and salsa cause that stuff is dang good! Can’t wait to eat here again.

I recently dined at Mirasol, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience! Wife and I both had enchiladas. They were so damn good, especially the Chipotle ones. To top it off, the service was outstanding. Our server, Gerardo, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. His warm and welcoming attitude really enhanced our dining experience. When we asked for more salsa, he recommended different flavors which were so damn good! Food is great, but service is what really makes a restaurant stand out, and Gerardo made this good experience into an amazing one. Lastly the drinks are great. We both had the spicy margaritas which were amazing. Will definitely return and will be requesting Gerardo if available.

Emiliano is the goat, took Great care of us! Request him as your server he’ll take care of you. Food was fire, drinks were great and he kept up with all the chaos our party brought! Super chill and funny guy!

But...we were delighted from the salsa (smokey...not tomatoey) to the queso w/piccadillo, a chicken chalupa and Carne a la tampiqueno. The poblano sauce was the best we've tasted yet! Each dish was flavorful and had its own unique essence, unlike many places where the meals taste similar. Their homemade Chispa margarita is fresh with just the right combination of ingredients. We plan to visit one of the other locations later this week. Mercedes served us and she is a great representative of the restaurant...very sweet, attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes and the drinks. She's top-notch. Lastly, but as important, the restaurant and booth/table were clean which is a 1st great impression. We decided that it's our new favorite place to take family when they visit. I'm looking forward to another yummy meal.

The restaurant is… okay. The food and drinks are decent, nothing spectacular but not bad either. The waitstaff can be a bit slow to check on you at times, which can be frustrating. The bar is always packed, and since it’s small, it’s hard to find a spot there. Overall, it’s an alright place—nothing to rave about, but not terrible either.

We had dinner here last weekend and the place was packed. There food was outstanding and their bar has anything you might want. The service was excellent. It's a bit noisy inside but other than that it was great.

UPDATE: On, 8/15/25 Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Overpriced Food I ordered one dish to go and arrived about 20 minutes later to pick it up. Another customer arrived at the same time. When the server came out, he brought out the other customer's food—but not mine. I waited, thinking he’d be right back. After five more minutes, it was clear they had forgotten my order. I asked the receptionist again, and she reassured me it was coming—but she didn’t check or call anyone to confirm. Then another customer arrived and received a large family order before I received my single item. At that point—over 30 minutes after placing my order—I had to interrupt the server myself to ask about it. When I finally got the food, it was disappointing. The green salsa I requested was missing, and I only received the roasted salsa meant for the chips. The actual meal looked like it came off the kids' menu. The container was half empty, with barely any beans or rice, and the enchiladas had no green sauce—they were cold and dry. I ended up using the chip salsa just to make them edible. The whole experience was frustrating. The front staff seemed more focused on socializing than helping customers. And if you call to complain, they expect you to drive back 15–20 minutes to fix their mistake—a 35-minute round trip.
