The inside was pleasant, and clean. 2 stars because as travellers,and not familiar with area, will not stop again because of concerns for saftey. 1) you need a code to use the bathrooms that are inside the building 2) homeless scavenging dumpsters 3) parking not convenient to the sidewalk and entrance

The service was subpar. The food, steak tidbits & eggs and egg white omelets. The table was not prebussed. The bill was not brought to our table. The manager and server were talking so I asked hostess. When server came, I handed her 20% tip (cash) gave her money for bill. After waiting, I looked up to see server and manager, (asst)? talking and laughing. She finally came back with my change and receipt. Very unfortunate experience, especially because the food was absolutely delicious.

My complaint is about the crepe combo. The eggs, hash browns and bacon were cooked properly. The Crepe was not prepared correctly. The Crepe was supposed to be rolled stuffed with cream cheese, topped with strawberries and drizzled with chocolate. But it was folded into a triangle and the cream cheese and strawberries were on the side. The container that was supposed to be chocolate was some kind of red sauce. It looked nothing like the picture, I didn't even eat it! Needless to say this was the last visit! Very disappointed, you need a new cook!

After waiting over an hour and a half for 3 simple orders (nothing special at all, just chocolate pancakes, 4 eggs benedicts, and each with some hashbrowns and eggs). My friend eating the eggs saw small red hairs spread through his food, didn't have to look too hard. After 3 bites said he lost his appetite and didn't want it and asked for it to be taken off the bill. A super nice black women (not our waitress) went ahead and did so. After a close to empty resturaunt and being offered one refill the entire time being seen less than once every 30 mins, our good looked so bland. What happened to the ihop that gave tons of hashbrowns and great food? I got a tiny scoop of hashbrowns. I'd rather have ate at dennys. Very sad to see one of the last decent resturaunts in banning go to trash. I'll take my military discount, glad they still do that at least. But $40 for it all in the end made me want to go and buy and cook it all myself instead.

The host was nice and the server definitely wasn’t trained well. She was nice as well but couldn’t accurately explain things on the menu and served me the wrong food twice (I sent one back and it was returned incorrect still). The food was also not made fresh, it came out in 2 minutes, unmelted cheese, no blueberries in the pancakes and the fruit “ confit “ was cold. I understand it’s an ihop, but this place wasn’t even busy. Very disappointed.

My kids and I went to the Banning Ihop for the 1st time. There was absolutely no one in there. No patrons. 1 employee. An empty kitchen. The employee seemed annoyed that we walked in and reminded us they closed in 70 minutes. He rushed us to place our order and apparently he made the food too. 2 very small plates ( for my 2 kids) and I just ordered a side of onion rings. Drinks for the 3 of us. $60. Not worth it at all in my opinion. Will not be returning there.

Wow just wow could not be worse. Placed my to go order at 1123 waited in store since 1130...didn't get my to go order until 1210. Asked 4 different workers to check and only 1 actually gave me an update with a time(even if it was way off). Food quality is pretty bad. Overcooked and undercooked at the same time how do you even do that? Missing syrup because you know we all eat pancakes without syrup at the International House of Pancakes. Missing white toast in a meal with 3 items...toast eggs and bacon... But you know why care about attention to detail. Will never be returning. Do not visit this establishment unless you want terrible quality and terrible food on a consistent basis. Even the bacon looks gross and undercooked.
