There was a bartender who handed me a tutu and played a lovely song before taking a celebratory shot. He truly looked out for us almost like a guardian angel. When a rowdy guy leapt over the bar, shouting and causing chaos, the bartender didn’t hesitate. “Not in my bar, sir!” he declared, tossing the troublemaker out without missing a beat. The whole place erupted in applause. I’ll never forget it I owe that man my life.

This is a unique bar experience that will be on future tik toks, if not already. The “themed” experience is so ridiculously fun… personally I have never been to a bar like this and I honestly will probably talk about it for years to come. It’s sorta “underground” and there’s zero glitz. But my god is this a fun place. One of the best experiences.

Started a typical Saturday night here with cocktails. Bar was packed be mindful that you would have to wait to get your drinks. Staff is super friendly and bartender was amazing she was handling the entire bar, pretty impressive. Prices are affordable compared to other bars in the city. Avg cocktails were 12$ each. But the best part about this bar was their themed shots. I was blown away it was super fun. We had "Winter is coming". They gave all of us swords as a prop, made one of us king, one queen, did the little play, played GOT theme song and then finally bartender gave us our shots. If you are here please make sure you have at least one of these themed shots. Would definitely visit again soon.

This is place is phenomenal. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, honestly looks a little rundown. But once we took a seat at the bar, my entire opinion changed. The bartender is so much fun and really made our experience amazing. We had a couple of rounds of the themed shots which were decently priced. Super fun with all the music and props. We did the Harry Potter, Monica Lewinsky, Top Gun, Pokémon, Spongebob, and Fresh Prince shots. Spoiler warning if anyone doesn’t want to know what some of the shots entail! Harry Potter was my favorite because he brought out wands, Hogwarts scarves, played the music, and did a whole spiel that was hilarious. Pokémon and Spongebob were cute with music and themed hats.

Ran into this bar after watching a broadway play nearby on my last vacation. It's a pretty cool bar with a very lively atmosphere. Went here twice over the week and the bartenders were courteous and awesome. Extremely large selection of (relatively) pricey shots, but you can also order beer and any other drink you want. Good place to watch sports or hang out, but the place is not that big so don't expect to bring large groups of people.The musical shots are super fun, and the bartenders play funky music with a full skit during the shots which is hilarious. There is also a dart board for times when it is not too crowded. Will come back here again the next time I am in New York City!

It would be hard for me to rate the service as less than phenomenal. We came here for a quick drink early on Halloween night. They have a lot of shots on-tap but we chose some of the special ones that require the bartender to do a proverbial song and dance before giving us the drink. And since it was Halloween we got free candy. I'm considering trying their 100-shot challenge next year.

The price of the drinks are reasonable and they have variety of drinks. Small places, but good for groups. The bartenders are nice and friendly. I would definitely suggest this place to try. Favourite's on 5$ drinks are watermelon, pineapple up side down and Harry Potter.

This narrow strip of a bar's appearance is deceiving. Venture into the dark, tiny, dive and be rewarded with an impressive shot menu served with a side of flair. While flaming drinks are no longer on offer (blame the Fire Marshall), most of the top shots come with a show. We donned hats and house scarves for the Harry Potter shot and swapped wands for sonic screwdrivers while imbibing The Tardis. Oh, and they all have a soundtrack and a performance by the amazing bartender Mike. No food but trivia every Monday at 8:30pm.

I would say that the service was trash, but I can’t even rate it because we didn’t get a chance to sit down! The bartender immediately walked over when he saw us, the only two people of color and ask for ID. My partner didn’t understand what he said and simply said, “excuse me“. The nasty bartender rudely replied, “ID you know like identification or a passport, it is a bar“. We walked out because why are we giving somebody our money who clearly has no respect for us. Don’t know if it was a race thing, but it certainly felt that way and I do not recommend.

I was a regular at this bar until a few months ago. The employees, including the manager, harassed me for my political affiliation (Republican), even though I never brought up or discussed politics at any bar. They discriminate against people who are not as "woke" as they are. Since 2014, the bar has removed many themed shots to appear politically correct. Most importantly, the space is run-down and unsafe. Chairs, floors, and walls are chipped and damaged. The bathrooms are falling apart; the last time I was there, the bathroom walls were patched with duct tape. On Fridays and Saturdays, they sometimes allow more people into the space than permitted by the building code, making the bar overcrowded and unsafe.
