This is Del Taco #1. You can get unique items like the Barstow Taco. Worth a stop. Not sure if I would come again as the prices for fast food are just a bit too high.

Always love to hit a Del Taco when I am on this side of the world miss having them near me. This is the oldest operating store in the chain and the employees were all super friendly and informative. Food was great as always and I got to purchase a Del Taco original location T shirt 😁

I'll admit that my pictures here aren't the best, but it gives you a chance to see what the place, and some of the food, look like inside. I have been going to Del Taco in Vegas for a while because it's cheap and the food is decent. The food here, on the other hand, is actually good. It's still fast food, but higher quality fast food. What I liked more than the food was how knowledgeable Maxine was and her great customer service. I asked about sweets and she told me about the sweets they have and that the cakes are made nearby and it's not a big manufacturing thing. So, the quality of everything he at this place seems to beat out all of the other locations I've visited... yeah, it's a bit of a drive into Barstow, and it is in an odd place (in my opinion), but it's a quality place and the oldest Del Taco there is in operation.

A must stop when you are headed thru Barstow. I can usually eat 2 Del taco tacos, but the Barstow tacos are huge and I could only get down one. That’s OK they taste great leftover as well. Fries and special sauce are a must. It was very busy but didn’t slow down the efficient team. Only downfall is the local bystanders. Make sure you lock your vehicle and don’t be surprised if you are asked by outsiders to buy them a taco or 2.

I had to stop by and taste the food here . I've been told by friends that Del Taco in SoCal is better tasting than anywhere else. They might be right 🙂 I had the double Del cheese burger combo, which is pretty normal but really good 👍🏼. I also ordered 2 fish tacos, and they were definitely something else . I never had fast food fish tacos that tasted so good ! They are definitely in my top 5 fish taco list . Too bad I live almost 6 hours away . If you are in this area or passing through and want good food at a fair price , stop by .

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Drove 168 miles just to experience the famous Barstow Tacos at the original Del Taco location. I ordered the #6 combo (two hard-shell Barstow Tacos with fries and a drink), upgraded to a large drink and fries, and added two Barstow Soft Tacos since I have braces. I was excited to enjoy these tacos with an amazing view of Barstow from the top. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized I had been given four regular soft tacos instead of the Barstow Soft Tacos I specifically ordered. Definitely disappointing after such a long drive. On the bright side, the fries were absolutely delicious—crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned—though I did burn my mouth in my eagerness to dig in. Overall, the experience was a letdown due to the incorrect order, but the food quality itself was solid. If you make the trip, double-check your order before leaving.

The food was OK, over priced with very runny beans. I would not recommend eating there. We were traveling and needed to eat. Next time will stop at Taco Bell.

If youre seeking the reputable BARSTOW DEL TACO... this is NOT it. I made the mistake of visiting this location recently and the staff has a poor attitude, the food is smaller portions then what I get in town and I wasn't really into it. Try any of the other 2 locations in Barstow and you'll be taken care of!

Don't eat this junk. This place is full of crusty and dusty out of the can pork and beans folks. Support real Mexican restaurants not this waste of money. Don't let the charm fool you.

If this is the Del Taco in Barstow or Lynnwood. " don't waste your time. " This is not a franchise or a corporate Del Taco I don't even know why they have a sign that says Del Taco, they do not have anything that Del Taco offers the advertisements on TV, just a quick simple roller, they don't have any of it and their prices are different. And it's their own menu, the original Del Taco. No go to a franchise, you're better off. That's the original.
