Had the carne asada fries and drooled when I saw them. I added sour cream with it and it was awesome, even before I added it, so good. Hands down the best carne fries!

11/17/25 Update: Thank You! To the trucking community for guarding my drive from CA to Boston (Fenway was amazing, I had to remove my Dodger hat 😗 after a couple of 🐦, Cambridge (Harvard Univ.) and NYC, then back home. This restaurant is open 24 hrs and just off the 15 freeway in Barstow on Main Street. The BEST Mexican food I have ever had. Easy to find!! Huge servings too. Homemade cooking, and drive thru too. You can park on the street, since they are pretty wide with minimal traffic, also I think you can order uber eats to deliver to a near by truck stop, because your rigs can't make it through the drive thru. LOL 😆 Driving back to Beverly Hills from Boston and took a break near Barstow. It was late, 1:15 am, but Robertiroz was open for business. The staff was kind, menu selection is yummy and the taste was Awesome!! I ordered the #6, monster size burrito with pork, rice, beans, cheese, onions and just enough chili to make your brow sweat. Large enchilada with cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and salsa. Spanish rice and refried beans. I am a petite nurse and ate almost all of it. This is what MEN eat!! Highly recommend!! The street tacos are 5 authentic Mexican Street tacos! It brings to mind my many trips to Rosarita Beach MX. Rolling out of bed early in the morning after an exciting night of bar hopping a the inevitable aftermath of pain. Lol. The 5 Street Tacos come with small corn tortillas, carne asada, chopped onions and cilantro! A few slices of lime on the side for flavor and a choice of Robertiroz famous Red or Green chili sauce and a small beverage for $12.00. They also offer a Breakfast Burrito consisting of home made potatoes, scrambled eggs, diced ham and chopped onions on a flour tortilla. The food is made with love and flavor so the wait time from ordering to delivery is a bit longer than usual but one bite of the food and you will agree that it is more than worth the wait. Robertiroz has been a Barstow hometown favorite for decades! Be sure to stop in on your way to Las Vegas or Los Angeles. Barstow is the halfway stop between the two cities. This is definitely a spot to stop if you are a Foodie.

Great potato burrito and egg. Great little Mexican hot spot. They were a little disrespectful toward a college graduate with a great grand mother who was a Cherokee Indian so I chose just remember the burrito instead of ignorance of our Creator's Holy Word regarding loving all into the Kingdom of Heaven.

Small Mexican restaurant in Barstow CA. Friend recommended this place and had to try it. Got a California burrito and it was good. I ha e been on a mission to have the best burritos in the area and this place was above average. There is a small area outside in the front with seating but most use drive-thru.

Amazing spot for SERIOUSLY GOOD GOOD Mexican food!! Ordered burger with fries, was given a tasty burger with perfectly salted, crispy fries(a TON at that). Tried the burrito and it was well worth the price! So yummy! Horchata was insanely good and the churros with chocolate were delicious! Don’t sleep on the chocolate sauce! Absolutely delectable! Was literally licking the sauce off the container. No wonder this place was poppin late at night!

Came around 1am and I wasn’t expecting such a high, real Mexican food quality for a drive thru experience. I must say even better than most “known” restaurants. Perfect service. I wish I could enjoy this back at home in NY. A1 FOOD. A must try!! (SOFT TACOS) PERFECT STOP. 💪🏻🤤👌🏻

This place serves Mexican fast food with a touch of class. It has outdoor dining as well as drive-thru. Its open 24 hours and serves breakfast as well as dinner . The staff is very friendly and the food is very good and prices are very reasonable. I'm not sure whether or not they have delivery service or not. I do know that they serve breakfast lunch and dinner not sure if you have to order each at a specific time of the day or not. Plan on spending at least 10 to 20 dollars per person. We were there late at night and ordered dinner which consisted of to carne asada tacos and a beef enchilada. Even though I did not have one I know they serve Mexican drinks I don't believe they serve alcohol.

Love this place. I live in San Francisco and I always try to travel through Barstow so that I can eat here. Once again, I'm back in Barstow and I'm getting food. This time it's the enchiladas and a super burrito for my son. If you like spicy. Wait! Not spicy. F'n SPICY!!! Ask for the hottest salsa. But you have been warned. It may give you after burners. The place can get sketch. But usually just late at night..... after 10pm. I'm at the entire opposite side of town and it's worth the 9 minute drive. I suggest taking the freeway back if you're in the new part of Barstow.

Not really anything fancy. Food is only ok, pretty bland to be honest. The asada tastes like it was scooped up from a large container of asada that's been sitting for a while. Cheap prices though.

Never thought anyone could screw up a carne asada burrito but this place managed to. The meat was cold and bland. The horchata was decent. It was actually homemade and not the funny tasting one from the machine.

So I went to this place to try it out again for the second time. Mind you this was a few nights ago and within the hour of eating their quesabirria tacos I immediately got nauseous and my stomach pain was really intense. Moral of the story this place gave me food poisoning. Idk what they are doing at night but it’s not it. Lots of people complain about getting sick from this place I wouldn’t recommend. Someone here definitely is not following safe food handling and needs to be fired 🤷🏻‍♀️

Food came out cold and I got it to dine in. Cold tacos flavorless and everything was bad. It all went straight to the garbage can after the first bite. Save time and money and go elsewhere.

After giving them a second opportunity, their food has not improved. Maybe they changed cooks. Just not going back. Then you have to listen at their attempts at being comics. Maybe they are unhappy comedian(s) working at a taco shop. This time I noticed their food presentation is worse. At least before (my recollection) it was wrapped better, and food was not trying to fall out.

Went today August 29th 2025. The Bairra plates was bland and the tortillas hard. Burger meat dry. Usually their food is ok. I think the cook or cooks are new and need more training. I was very disappointed. Call and told them. All they could say was sorry about that.
