It was a wonderful first-time experience to taste a few tapas. The entire staff was fantastic, starting with the hostess, Ashley (our server) was really great, and even the bartender who stopped by our table — a very nice and friendly gesture. You can actually sense a welcoming, home-like atmosphere as soon as you enter La Terraza. The food was truly incredible, and I even had the chance to speak with the chef, who is from Galicia. I feel this where the best chefs are in Spain (I am not the only one who says this hehe). They also have a great selection of wine and beer. We will definitely be coming back guys. The Octopus, Las Habas Blancas.... Madre mia!
Davie was our server , he was phenomenal! Very knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and kind. The food was authentic Spanish cuisine. We will be back for live Flamenco 💃
Had the pleasure of dining here last night. Was welcomed by hostess Maria, who explained the menu to us and assured us we were going to have a delicious experience. The food was prepared with fresh and delicious ingredients. The service was on point. Our waitress Izzy was not only friendly and attentive but also very knowledgeable about all of the dishes. Don’t walk .. run if you haven’t dined her before. What a treasure in our own neighborhood ! Coming back with a few friends next week to share this amazing experience!!!!
Izzy was an amazing waitress! She gave us great recommendations! Definitely try the cheesecake (forgot to take a photo of it).
**Review of La Terraza** I recently had the pleasure of dining at **La Terraza**, the new Spanish tapas restaurant in Boca Raton, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience! The decor is charming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. We had the pleasure of being served by Ricardo. He and his colleagues were very attentive and hospitable! Now, let's talk about the food! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and made from high-quality ingredients. We ordered the **Camarones Ajillo** which were a highlight - succulent shrimp sautéed in garlic and olive oil that left me wanting more! We also indulged in the **Tabla Terraza**, which featured a delightful selection of Jamon Iberico and Manchego cheese which came with pan con tomate, olives and potatas fritas patties. Each bite was a celebration of Spanish culinary tradition, skillfully prepared and beautifully presented. Our main course was **Mariscada Terraza** which was accompanied with Spanish Rice. The broth was a tomato reduction infused with spices and emboldened by the flavors of the seafood medley. Magnificent! We finished off our Spanish dining experience with a yummy Basque Cheesecake. My friend and I were already stuffed but found a way to make sure we finished off the desert. If you're looking for a place to share great food and create wonderful memories with friends and family, I highly recommend La Terraza. I can't wait to go back and try more of their incredible tapas! Best paella in the area, hands down - an absolute must visit. Large selection of Tapas to complement your choice of paella. I surely recommend the boquerones - the best white anchovies I’ve had in the US.
Our Paella negra for 2 was delicious & enough for 3. Also the clams were so tasty. Izzy was very good & knowledgeable about the food. Oh, don’t leave without trying the churros 😋
This place has an inviting and warm atmosphere that hits you as soon as you walk in! The staff and our server Chloe were amazing with impeccable service along with the delicious tapas and paella! The paella takes 30-40 mins to make, as they’re made to order…but TRUST ME it’s worth it🍽️ we drove about an hour and were VERY satisfied.
We had an amazing time. Andrea and Valentina were amazing. We ordered the empanadas which were out of this world as well as the paella. I have traveled quite a bit and I would say this is the best and most authentic I’ve had in Florida. Great relaxing environment, too!

A vibrant locally owned Spanish tapas gem! The sangria is perfectly refreshing and full of flavor, and the paella was absolutely delicious! Rich, authentic, and beautifully prepared. A lively atmosphere with warm, welcoming service makes it a must visit!

If you’re looking for authentic Spanish from Spain food I absolutely recommend come in today place the owner is a chef. He’s always in the kitchen and the food is real authentic in Spanish.
Family of 4 here. We had 8 dishes, classified below. In short, try it and go conservative if you're unsure of what to take and then experiment more. In order from best to great: Eggplant (berenjena) - 5 Croquetas de jamon - 5 Churros - 5 Chicken fingers (kids) - 5 Papatas bravas - 5 Mermelada strawberry - 5 Spinach y garbanzos - 3.5 Huevos rotos - 3 (eggs perfect, potatoes+ onions not there yet) Expresso - 5 Enjoy!!
First time dining at La Terraza and was really impressed by this meal! Everything we ordered was so delicious and bursting with flavor. I’m super picky about my empanadas and was pleasantly surprised by how good these were. Tapas were all a good portion size to share a few between the two of us, followed by a dessert of churros. Nice ambiance and live music playing. Staff was friendly and attentive. Prices reflect typical South Florida dining. What a great spot to hit when you’re craving Spanish cuisine!
I recently visited La Terraza Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. I tried the lamp tapas and a delicious black paella. It's so nice to see new restaurants opening, especially from Europe and Spain, as there aren't many in the area. The owners, Carlos and his wife, are very friendly; he is from Spain and she is from New Jersey. The waitstaff is very attentive, and the place is always clean. Additionally, there is plenty of parking, and it's located next to the mall, making it the perfect spot after work, for lunch, or dinner. I will definitely return!
Wow!!! Let me just start out by saying that. I have been impressed by some restaurants in South Florida. But this one by far takes it all! The flavors in every dish that was served were outrageous and one better than the next. if you were looking for the best Tapas In all of South Florida Look no further… This place checks the box in every which way possible. Enjoy!!
Wonderful happy hour and dinner with drinks, tapas, large plates, etc — everything delicious and authentically Spanish. 100% will be back with the family to see Stevie — best service + lovely night 💕
What can I say about this new gem in Boca next to the mall and Sicilian oven…. Only good things. The tapas were all really good and the sangria with tequila in place of brandy was excellent. We will be back. Support this restaurant the next time you head out.
Very quiet spot and difficult to find. Seated outside. They serve complimentary bread and oil to start, so good. Servers very attentive. Ordered to share between 3; Spinach and manchego empanadas, Camarones al Ajillo (the butter that remains with the bread is delicious), and Huevos Rotos. Finished with a classic Crema Catalana, very tasty. Perfect to share some tapas with friends. Very recommended if you like Spanish food!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience at La Terraza Tapas Bar & Restaurant! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and everything we ordered was delicious. What truly made the night special was our waitress, Izzy. She was AMAZING — friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Her recommendations were spot on, and she checked in just the right amount to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests having a great experience. If you’re looking for great tapas, a fun atmosphere, and top-notch service, La Terraza is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for Izzy! 🌟🍷🍤
This was our first time at La Terraza. The outdoor seating was very pleasant. Our waiter, Santiago, helped us through the tapas menu after helping us select a bottle of wine, which was excellent. He explained the differences between dishes on the menu and even consulted with the chef to see if we could have the calamari grilled instead of deep fried (the answer was yes). We decided to get octopus instead. It was served with warm potatoes shaped like a disk centered on the plate, nicely seasoned, with tender slices of octopus all around. We weren’t hungry enough for the paella dishes that Santiago said the restaurant was known for, but we plan to return on one of the days he’s available to be our server.
We had such a wonderful experience at La Terraza Tapas Bar & Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and there were so many great tapas options to choose from. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm and lively, making it such a fun place to enjoy a meal. Our waitress, Izzy, truly made the evening special. She was so kind, attentive, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Her friendly personality and excellent service made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend La Terraza for a great night out with family or friends. Wonderful food, wonderful service, and we can’t wait to come back! 🍷✨
We had an amazing experience at La Terraza! Ashley was absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and made sure our large table felt taken care of all night. The food was delicious and full of authentic Spanish flavor. The Paella Valenciana was perfectly cooked and great for sharing. The Pulpo Gallega was tender and flavorful, and the Patatas Bravas were a hit at the table. We also loved the sangria and desserts — especially the Tarta de Santiago and the churros! Everything came out fresh and well presented. You can really taste the quality in every dish. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Ashley, for making it such a special dinner!
I’ve dined here multiple times, and every visit has been absolutely spectacular. The food is consistently incredible, and the service is wonderful. I’ve tried about half of the tapas menu and honestly haven’t had a single dish I didn’t love. Each plate is beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The paella is phenomenal- it truly makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Spain.
We’re regulars here for a reason! This place is absolutely amazing and the food is spectacular every single time. If you can, try to visit when there’s a flamenco show — it’s so entertaining and they really engage with the audience, which makes the whole experience even more special. Our waitress, Izzy, did an excellent job! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!
My friend and I decided at the last minute to try this Tapas place after work for Happy Hour! We were NOT disappointed!! Our Bartender Stevie was Amazing and suggested what apps to eat! Great ambiance paired with Quaint and Trendy atmosphere! Since my friend and I are foodies and love New Hot Spots for Low Key Girls Happy Hour this is the perfect spot! PLUS, big shout out to Carlos (Chef) for my Amazing Pulpo( Grilled Octopus) dish!! Highly recommend this place
Our first experience, as out of town visitors, was a wonderful one! Our waiter Stevie was exceptional in handling our large table. He never kept us waiting and our food arrived as expected. Thank you Stevie!! We had tapas, multiple alcoholic beverages AND paella, there were 6 of us and our bill was extremely reasonable. Again, to Stevie and his peers, thank you and I wish we lived near, you would be our weekly go to spot- soooo GREAT!!
Enjoyed a fantastic dinner last night at La Terraza. Karen B was our server and she was very efficient and managed our finicky table professionally. We dined outside while there was flamenco going on inside, and with the doors open the sound initially overwhelmed our table, so Karen moved us to a spot further away. The food is delicious and authentic. Some of the highlights were grilled octopus, camerones ajillo, croquetas de jamon, and the piquillo peppers stuffed with goat cheese and lump crab meat. Highly recommended! BTW, the flamenco was also excellent.
Another great restaurant in Boca and so far the best tapas joint between boca & WPB. Hostess and waiter were awesome! Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. Great venue with in & outdoor seating. Free bread basket and olive oil was awesome! So good. Reminded me of my time in Southern Spain. The egg plant was great -A Patas bravas decent B, some potatoes weren't fully cooked Pulpo Plancha good but inconsistent. B Some parts were over salted and some parts were perfect melted in your mouth good. The beer was so good. I cant drink due to health reasons, but I'll make an exception when I find 1906. Sangria was very good according to the wifey. Other dishes was aight. Kinda salty for me. Great spot.

It’s a very rarely when I put 3*. I wanted to enjoy my sangria. We ordered pitcher of red sangria because it is a Spanish restaurant and we wanted to celebrate international women’s day. I couldn’t drink it . It was so far from real Spanish style plus I’m sorry to write it but from cheap wine . I couldn’t drink it. They had option some drink with vermouth but I didn’t want to risk it. And instead of Maine courses we got croquet de jamon (that was only one good thing in restaurant) and fried calamari. I got a beer Estrella that was good. Calamari was like rubber (because it was old). It is so difficult to make calamari bad. Sorry but I’m not coming back .
Service by Izzy was Amazing! Nice ambiance inside for cozy dining. We shared a paella which was a good idea because after the 3 empanadas and spinach with chic peas and bread...we were almost full. Paella lacked flavor and the seafood was just OK. I would also like to see more wine options by the glass less than $14...Thank you.
It’s fine. Nice place considering some of the other establishments that have been in there before. It’s cozy and the live music was a nice touch. Overpriced. Food was nothing to write home about but enjoyable enough however portion vs price is egregious. $100 of Tapas later and we left hungry. Granted we didn’t get the paella which looked fairly popular and of course more food. Service was fine. Drinks were fine. Would POSSIBLY return or recommend if looking for Paella but other than that…. Visited for an anniversary with higher expectations. A bit of a lack luster experience to be honest.
This was a total missed opportunity. I intentionally booked this small, intimate restaurant through Resy to celebrate my son’s 20th birthday, hoping to make him feel welcomed, honored, and special. Our family of six traveled 45 minutes each way for the occasion. At no point prior to our arrival were we notified that the restaurant would be closing early due to a private event. I even called approximately 45 minutes ahead to let the restaurant know we would be about 15 minutes late, confirmed our reservation details, and still there was no mention of an 8:00 PM closure. Had this been communicated, we would have gladly adjusted our plans or chosen another date. Instead, upon arrival we were met with a rushed and unwelcoming “hold on a minute” greeting, followed by repeated reminders—at nearly every interaction—that the restaurant was closing at 8:00 PM for a private party and that we needed to be finished and out by then. The issue was presented without hospitality or solutions. A simple alternative, such as offering outdoor seating or proactively calling us in advance to set expectations, could have completely changed the experience. While the food itself was genuinely delicious, the overall service felt tense and hurried. Our server was sweet and kind, but clearly constrained and unable to provide a full dining experience due to the anxiety surrounding the pending private event. Guests were visibly being pushed out as the private party began arriving. There was no acknowledgment of the celebration—no welcome, no “happy birthday,” and no appreciation for dining there that evening. Additionally, dietary restrictions noted in the reservation were never acknowledged or addressed, which further contributed to the feeling of being disregarded as guests. I understand the logistics of hosting private events, but the stress surrounding it overshadowed the guest experience entirely. The result was a dampened and disappointing celebration, which is not what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Lastly, being charged $1.50 for a suggested ½-ounce of hot sauce felt unnecessary and distasteful, especially given the circumstances. This evening could have been memorable with thoughtful communication and hospitality. A simple recommendation: consider personally calling guests 24 hours in advance before accepting or confirming reservations when you know the restaurant will not be able to deliver its best experience. At its core, this is a bar with great food—but it is not a place I would recommend for a special occasion. Without a stronger focus on front-of-house hospitality and proactive communication, it risks losing the appeal that sets it apart.
The food was well cooked and very tasty, though the portions felt too small considering the prices. The service was excellent, attentive, and professional. The tablao show was a highligh, the musicians and dancer delivered a wonderful performance, even though it started later than scheduled. Unfortunately, we were asked to leave our table for the second show, which left us feeling rushed and unwelcome. That experience discouraged us from returning never again.
