Padrino's Boca Raton

Great food, service and environment. My partner and I ordered the croquetas de jamon for an appetizer which was perfect crispy texture from the outside and soft and fresh from the inside. For our mains, we got the arroz con pollo and vaca frita. The arroz was seasoned perfectly with rich flavors and the chicken was juicy and not dry. The vaca frita was also excellent.

This is by far the best food and service I have been coming to Florida all my life and wouldn't miss a meal or two at Padrinos...best experience luv luv luv!!!

This place is always a pleasure to dine in. Nice ambiance and good value for money. Love that it's nice and bright throughout the dining areas with natural windows that bring in more light. Also, I have tried many dishes from the menu including ropa vieja, lechon asado, bistec de pollo, and pollo asado. They have all been good. Service is never an issue here. For lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong.

Food is a 10! Service a 10, but I won't trust reservations! I called to make a reservation, and they said they're not taking anymore for the night & if I came, there was a 30 min wait. Ok! No worries, I'll wait, I got there with my party of 5, the place was totally empty!!!!!

This restaurant is out of this world. The food is amazing. Inside of the restaurant is really elegant and beautiful I am far happy that my wife choose this restaurant. The staff is the best I recommend this restaurant to everyone I will be back. The location of the restaurant is nice as well don't miss out it is awesome you will love it

Very nice Cuban restaurant. For me it was the first time in a Cuban food restaurant so I read on the internet what is typical Cuban and what to look for. All choices were there and it was good, tasty and more than enough. The soda is very sweet sour and good. The service is as expected Read in advance what is typical your flavors and you can try them all.

We come to Florida twice a year and we eat her multiple times. This time we drove 40 minutes to eat here. As always, I came hungry, ate too much, and left full. Padrino's is a favorite.

Very very good Cuban food! I’ve been going to Padrinos in Boca since I was a kid and it just keeps getting better and better. They recently renovated and it looks fantastic. The service was great and the overall experience was 10/10!

This was our first time coming here! Everything was excellent from the service to the food and the environment, which was clean, updated, warm and inviting. We ordered the appetizer sampler, the cubano sandwich, paella and cuban coffees. Everything was delicious! I would order the same again next time!

This Cuban restaurant is fantastic! 5-star service, delicious food, and they even have a kids’ menu. The place is impeccably clean. Highly recommend!

Their appetizers are so unfathomable, I could eat them forever and ever. They are made so fresh and it’s more formal but open so it has a unique cozy but lively setting. Service was pretty good.

Our experience at Padrino’s Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. Although we arrived without a reservation, the gracious manager, Karla, ensured we were comfortably seated in less than ten minutes. Her professionalism and warm hospitality set the tone for a truly memorable dining experience. Padrino’s is fortunate to have such outstanding leadership.

I usually come to Padrino’s frequently but today I got served by Samuel and it has been the best experience I have had! Amazing server, he recommended multiple stuff without gluten and it made my experience really special.

We were at a private party and Padrino’s was the caterers I am not too familiar with all Cuban food but everything I tasted was exceptional. I just wish they would put one up in Melbourne!

We had the pleasure of being served by Gaby during a large gathering of over 15 people, exceptional service. Managing such a big table is no easy task, but Gaby handled everything with efficiency! She was attentive, always checking in to see if anyone needed anything, especially when it came to drinks or extra requests. What a great staff and management, everyone who helped was incredible. Food was out fast and delicious! We’ll absolutely be coming back, Thank you!

It was so yummy!!! I had the truffle pig and it was delicious. Soooo yummmy!!! The service was really nice and the people were really kind and helpful as they always are. I highly recommend it. Ive been there before and they also have the yummiest vaca frita 💗💗. The special lemonades are also really tasty, I just had the classic, but my siblings had the coco piña and the tropical lemonade and loved it. Go to Padrino's!!!

Had the pleasure of eating at this amazing restaurant yesterday. My server was Luna and she was so sweet, professional and gorgeous! The food was very fresh. The service was great. Padrino’s is the place you go for great service and delicious food! Julie at the bar is so attentive, kind, and friendly. She always had a smile on her face and was genuinely interested in how my time at the restaurant was. I also have gotten the pleasure of having Karla as my server. Karla was also very attentive and kind. She gave me great recommendations and she is a great representative of the Padrino’s brand. If you happen to stop by and see Julie at the bar or Karla serving, you are sure to have a splendid time! The empanadas with the garlic aioli is to die for and the Cha Cha Chicken is my overall favorite. I will definitely be going back, especially for their Mojito Tuesdays because their passion fruit mojitos are marvelous. 10/10

My favorite restaurant in America, been coming 35 years. Everything is always so spectacular. Service is always a perfect ten. Visited over 100 times. Bistec de pollo and palomilla are my favorite dishes. The flan is the best I've ever had.

Enjoyed our lunch. Celebrated my daughter’s birthday along with her uncles birthday too. Very memorable. Food was delicious and Julie who waited on us did an awesome job taking care of us and making the experience amazing.

Ive been here multiple times, always a good experience. -- Recently ive been helped by a taller gentleman named Zachary, was a host and also ran out food, seems like hes a jack of all trades! People like him make coming back a pleasure. Great staff!

Traditional Cuban Sandwich was delicious but the chicken soup I ordered with it, although tasty, was way too salty. After adding just as much water to it the result was a lot better. For some reason the fries were cold but I liked the thinness and tastiness of them so I could overlook the temperature. The decor of the restaurant is very good and although I only did takeout tonight the service I got was very good. I've seen enough to make me want to return and dine to try the entrees here. The prices seem reasonable with most entrees being between $12 - $15. I suspect this will be my go to dining when I feel for something different for lunch & dinner.

Very good food, clean and pleasant ambiance. It had been a while since my last visit, and the interior seemed redone, making it feel very spacious - an extra bonus for social distancing at mealtimes!

Padrino is a local family owned chain of Cuban restaurants serving quality food. Started with MARIQUITAS, crispy plantain chips served with garlic sauce. One of my favorites. My wife ordered the POLLO ASADO, slow roasted half chicken seasoned with a combination of fresh ground garlic and herbs topped with sautéed onions. I opted for the ENCHILADO DE MARISCOS, seafood Creole. fish, scallops and shrimp cooked in a light tomato sauce, olive oil and white wine. Both were very good and come with white rice, black beans and sweet plantains

We enjoyed this place. Good happy hour prices and the food was good.

Other then they add a tremendous amount of salt to their food and they don't seam to keep reservations, we enjoyed the place. Not overly expensive. Free parking. Worth a visit.

Everything was good but not amazing. A little over priced. Ceviche was a tiny portion and just ok. Tostone cup was ok as well. Vaca frita and palomilla werre very good but just a little expensive.

Updated 2025: Had a School function dinner here. Food was good, service was a little slow,many people Served more than 15 min after people got their meals, but they did have a large group of us. If I were to be 100% honest, I enjoy this restaurant many many years ago much more. (Been eating here for over 20 years b4 the new people took over) Food was way better and def more filling, and the ambiance was more family friendly. So were the staff. Now it just feels like an upscale Boca Joint that not everyone can afford to feed a family of 4. Also, I feel the need to dress up a bit more just to go there now. I wouldent come here again with my family, but for a function it would be fine. Con’s: Portion was too small for such a big price. Pay extra for onions and a Shirley temple which they do not have cherries for. They actually do not carry cherries. Pros: Good for Big Parties or functions.

The last time I was at this restaurant was about 10 years ago. It is completely renovated, it looks great, the service was good, the food was tasty and of a reasonable quantity. We ordered Croquetas, Ropa Vieja and Lechon Asado 😋

I have been here before and have ordered the Carnitas. This time I ordered them again and we're very dry and hard. Just not the same. Tasted just like over fried pork chuncks. One dish from our party was missing the onions and it took forever to get someone to get them. Also asked for a Cuban coffee at the end and never brought it, even though it was on the final bill, I had to personally go to the server and asked for it.

The restaurant looks great and is clean. The service is good but not excellent. My real knock was with the food. Cuban food can pack a punch of flavor and everything was just above bland. I had cuban bread, white rice, picadillo, plantains, and moros. Only the moros and plantains really had that flavor you want. Also, the bread was hot but flimsy like hawaian bread and not enough butter to taste. For a toasted cuban bread experience, it was really lacking for me. The temo was right but the outside needs to be more crispy, and the butter has to add to the flavor not be missing in action. I would return if I'm dying for Cuban food but there are no other options for it. Would love to see this place up the flavor. 🙏✌️

We came out looking for some real Authentic Cuban food. I ordered the empanadas and my friend ordered the tostones. We both got 4 servings with our order. We agreed they were pretty ok. However we were disappointed with the lack of flavor in the sandwich. 3 plantains came with my order. We had higher expectations based on the reviews. Our server was great. Only complaint was really about the food.

Ordinarily our experience at Padrinos in Boca Raton was positive but we will never return after having gone for dinner this evening. We ordered the chicken soup (Sopa de Pollo) and found a dead bug in the soup that removed and placed on napkin - see pictures. The waiter took away the soup were not charged and said sorry but did not only not receive a visit from manager but a few minutes later saw another patron having been served the same soup !! We warned the other customer on what we had experienced. We are disgusted, remain nauseous of what nearly ate and had difficulty continuing to have our entrees with experience We could not also eat the undercooked nearly raw Churrasco beef skirt steak where we asked for well done in addition to the nausea from what we saw in the soup and lack of management recognition.

I ordered tostones they were hard as rocks. Youd think a cuban would know how to make a tostone. Never going back. Las Vegas is excellent everything. And less expensive.

I have been eating at Padrinos since 1990, so for 36 years, I have been a loyal customer. But for the past year, the quality of the food has dramatically declined. They keep messing up my orders even when the receipt is correct, the accuracy of my order is not, and the food is not good. I don't know whats going on, but after 3 times of having my orders made incorrectly and getting gross food in the past year, they lost a long time customer. I've brought this to their attention several times to no avail. The price keeps increasing while the quality is decreasing. It's not worth the money or aggravation anymore.

Went on Saturday night food was good however allowing dogs into a restaurant is an immediate turn off and will never return no matter how good their food is. It is disgusting, and actually against the law in the State of Florida. How inconsiderate of your other customers, not knowing if they have allergies to dogs to allow 1 customer into the restaurant with their dog. Not even to sit them outside they were seated inside at a booth!
