This place is amazing, best Greek food I've ever had! They just opened a new place right next door as well called Boca Italiana which is also delicious! This family really does an amazing job with both the food and ensuring a good time as well. Excellent service and staff!

Truly excellent Greek food in a split decor. Straightforward counter service on one side of the house, and casual table dining on the other with a private room in the back for parties. The gyros are delicious, with tons of fresh lettuce and red ripe tomatoes and perfect tzatziki sauce. The service is prompt, and the food delivered piping hot. Go for the stuffed grape leaves, you will be glad you did.

If you are looking for good Greek food at reasonable prices, give Jimmy the Greek's Taverna a try. They even have seasoned waitresses who will insult you at no extra cost.:-) I always order the moussaka and it doesn't get better than theirs. At lunch the other day it was a huge portion with more than half an inch of crema sauce on top. Delicious!!

Food was good. Service was excellent. The servers seemed to know most of their customers. Our party was welcomed when we came in and we were treated just like a regular customer. Higjhly recommended

If it's Greek food you're looking for well look no more! This family owned restaurant who are originally from Greece takes pride in their hospitality and friendly staff to serve you. The "famed" Greek salad is absolutely delicious and is made with creative spices and the grilled chicken which is perfectly marinated is served with the traditional Greek olive oil! The best "tzatziki sauce" , I always order a second one as I can't get enough of it! Recently expanded to accommodate the dense group of fans. Best taverna around....Opa!!!

Fresh and delicious! Lots of flavor with dill and garlic! The meat is cooked to perfection. I would eat here every week if I could (but just visiting!)

Loved the food, excellent service. George was very attentive to us. We had plenty food to take home and it was just as good the next day. We’ll be back!

Been going here for years, a couple or three times a month. Have never gotten a bad meal. It has changed owners recently and the food continues very good and very fresh. I particularly like to eat outside as I do every where. The service is good and greeting people passing by is always fun. The staff does a good job - very friendly and make an effort to please. Go for a taste of the exceptional and not 'run of the mill' menu

We were In town for our daughters graduation. Jimmy's just happen to be close to our hotel. We took a chance and it was the best Greek food we ever had. Laura was our waitress, she was great but so was all of the staff. They made us feel like family. We had great meal and enjoyed our experience thoroughly. We will go back before we leave town to take baklava home to family. Outstanding!!! Great local restaurant. If we are back in Boca for anyreason I know where we are eating.

best gyro I had in my life . Their other food is great too. Friendly staff and excellent service. And no, this isn't fast food - so don't expect the food ready in 10 minutes people. Not sure why some people have a bad review to this place. It's truly a great place to go.

We totally enjoyed the gyro, moussaka, grape leaves, and lamb shish kebab! The Marthodaphni wine was great with our dishes. Jen was our wonderful waitress! Service was timely and the overall staff was inviting and pleasant. We had a memorable dining experience. We even ordered a gyros to go!! One great touch would be to add a slice of Syrian bread with the Greek salad.

My partner and I went there for a quick late lunch and ordered the gyros and omg were we surprised with the taste and freshness!!. Granted they said they didnt have fries, which i was confused how a restaurant didnt have any potatoes that they could have cut up and fried for us but whatever. The gyros were so amazing. The pita was soft and fresh and the salad was so tasty! Will def come back to try thier dinner items!

The moussaka was pretty good, more meat and less veggies than I'm used to but tasty. Great service.

Jimmy the Greek is a great family restaurant. Definitely the interior decor can be improved. However, the service and the food, so far, every time i ate there was very consistent which is very important in a restaurant. The tastes r right and delicious, receipes r basic, no unnecessary fancy stuff that may mess up the taste of the foods. Love the servers, most of them r very personable. We r new in Boca n discovered the Jimmy's by accident. But im happy that i did. I hv already been there 5, 6x within the last few months. At this time, definitely recommended.

The food is ok, but no fabulous. The service is a little slow. Prices are very reasonable though.

Loved the staff ,wonderfull entertainment, my two friends Enjoyed their meal however, my wood grilled steak was very dry ,so the rice wad not very good ..my friend rated, it a 5 star..in all fairness. I am not a fan of Greek food to begin with.

Food was mediocre. And the baklava was dry like it had no honey or something. I didn't finish it. But it was late and no time to return it

thid is my second time here. I came in to enjoy a nice lunch and glass of wine. Right off the bat I hear the owner/Manager arguing with an employee because he could not work on Christmas Day . She was saying everyone works on Christmas! He kept saying I’m sorry I am having difficulties this year please try to understand...they had no consideration for the customers who were there spending their money and trying to enjoy a nice meal. The last thing I wanted to hear was more stress and aggravation! Guys! Take it to the back room...be a little more professional!

After waiting a half hour, my dinner came out cold I sent it back to be heated. My dinner arrived just as the rest of my table finished their meals. The server then cleared everyone’s plates while I was eating making me feel rushed. To add insult, a Birthday cake was brought out to the table to desert while I was still eating dinner. I felt so rushed.

Worst greek food ever......Terrible food ,slow service. Very unorganized,forgot soup,salad ,soda was flat.meat was greasy.told my daughter to order something else then what she wanted.owner was rude.never go here again.

Go in to order at 11:30ish get told we aren't open yet. Said it says you guys open at 11 and get told yeah well no one has come into work yet. Can't help but laugh at this I wonder how well that would go over it I tried that at my restaurant when a cook calls out or shows up late.

Ordered the stuffed sole, what a mistake. Smelled extremely fishy with a sweet pugnent auroma of maggots. Like it fell behind the sink for a month and they served it to me.

Not good at all. Service slow, food cold, got half my order. Had to take it back to add the balance of my plate.

The rating reflects the overall standard and understaffed as well, as I would like to have empathy for the owner for running around doing 5 to 6 jobs and they serve canned green beans! really! plus the food overall sub par, sorry Jimmy, poor experience and will never return as I can make better food at home and going out to eat should be truly an experience that wants you to come back. I hope this sets a better standard for frozen goods in your place of business, you charge for fresh and get frozen and canned goods, honestly any true chef would not come back.

My husband and I had dinner on the 10/29 the service was so bad ,we were told when we got to Jimmy The Greek that we would be waiting about 7mins. We waited for at least 30 and no wait staff even acknowledged us for quite some time. We sat down 6:45 and were not served untill 8:20 Lamb Kebab was so tough and the rice pilaf was like eating cardboard. I would not recommend this restaurant again!!!!

Going Out For A Greek Dinner? I would not suggest here. Kabob not Kabob. Just chunks of undercooked chicken (my experience) with a Monkey dish ON THE PLATE of overcooked stringbeans. Good service yes.. poor management attitude and I don't need that when going out for dinner. Was my meal corrected?? Yes! but with attitude from female kitchen window manager. She would not believe that the my chicken was undercooked even after I described the consistentsy.

Good service. Terrible food. I ordered trout . It was dry and tastless. It was served with 2 small slices of lemon potatoes and peas. My.husband ordered center cut salmon which came in strips and pieces rather them a whole piece. Very disappointing. Will.never return.

Major disappointment.. could have got the same gyro from Arby's. It would have come out faster, tasted more fresh and been less expensive. Had to eat my lunch without a drink too, because there was no one waiting tables.... Guess it has new owners & name?? "Mythos Taverna"

Absolutely horrible experience. Extremely rude and irresponsible staff. Even though my experience is based on a simple coffee, it speaks volumes about the character of the place and the attitude of the people managing it. So, I have been looking for the authentic Greek Frappe since my last visit to Greece. I was in Florida and saw this place. Went in, asked for the Greek Frappe and we were very casually told that the workers were too lazy to go to the shop and get the coffee so they can’t serve now. I personally thought that it was such an irresponsible and a tad bit rude response, but I ignored it. After almost 2 weeks, I called them up, ask them if they have the coffee today and I was told that they do have it and I can come by. So, I went there the second time. Ordered the Greek frappe and what I got was an absolute horrorshow. I didn’t even have to taste it to tell that it wasn’t Greek frappe. I immediately called the waiteress and told her that this isn’t Greek Frappe and it’s like any iced coffee. Completely watered down. She literally gave me iced coffee. To my utter shock and disgust, she told me that “well! that’s all we got.” in the rudest tone possible. And after she saw plain disgust on my face, she had the audacity to tell me that the machine wasn’t working and hence she couldn’t make the proper coffee. Well! For the management: If your machine isn’t working... please say so.. especially when you’re being called and asked specifically for a particular drink. It’s beyond unprofessional and irresponsible to say that you have something and then serve anything you wish in the name of “authentic Greek food”. This place is not recommended at all.

Very disappointed tonight at the service. We had a wait time of 20 mins which was totally fine. Sat at our table and ordered drinks within few mins. Well, that was the end of the fine service. A table next to us sat and got meals within 35 mins! We asked waitress several times to at least bring some pita bread and finally got it. You shouldn’t make paying customers wait 30 mins for some pita bread and a refill on drinks etc. well another 1 hr passed and no food. Finally we said this is not normal and being fed up left. Perhaps they were having an off night. But no excuses.

Absolutely the worst so called “Greek “ food I have ever had and I usually love Greek food. I had a Greek salad with chicken souvlaki. The feta had an off sour taste the chicken no garlic oregano lemon just bland no seasoning whatsoever. It certainly did not look or taste grilled. This salad was accompanied by pita bread and tzatziki which was also had an “off “ taste as well no garlic or cucumber.

I hate to leave a one-star review, but I'm only being honest. I ordered a gyro with extra extra tzatziki sauce and french fries. When I got it the french fries were all little tiny pieces and there was no sauce on the euro. I asked the waitress, Natalie about the tiki sauce and showed her there was none on it pulling it apart with a fork and she pointed the symbol there's a little tiny Speck right there. I asked her for more Tiki sauce and what the deal was with the french fries. She said the fries are like that because they put them into the basket by hand kind of a strange excuse for just little bits and pieces of french fries. They're literally was not one single hole french fry. When she returned she had this little tiny plastic cup with a lid on it and asked if this would be enough ziki sauce I said not really she says well that's to ounces and walked away. I ate my entire lunch and she never returned to the table one single time to refill my drink or ask me if I needed anything and never brought more Tiki sauce. When I finished I waited 12 minutes before she finally came with the check and said can I get you anything else I just said No and went to the cashier and paid. Not a good experience. It's a shame because the food here is usually very good I've been here many many times

ALWAYS slow and there is ALWAYS something that is not available from the menu. We keep trying but 6 out 6 orders have had problems. This is the 7th, and LAST, time and we are trying through Delivery Dudes... it has been an hour and the restaurant is not even answering the phone... AVOID AT ALL COST.

Food quality is not good. Pitas bread didn't taste fresh, gyro was not tasteful, and fries taste like they were sitting out then fried. I won't waste my money again.

I have never in my life been treated the way that woman 'the owner' treated me. When I picked up my 2 gyros, I asked her if I can see my order and she asked me "why". I told her, I want to make sure my order is right, she said " I'm the owner, I cooked it. It's right. " this went one 3 times and when she touched my gyro with her finger, I should've ran out the door. Weirdest experience ever. That place is awful. Too bad

I've been going to Jimmy's for years, but something happened last week that I just can't get over. I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter based on their online menu. Which for $13.95 consisted of a fair amount of chicken, a couple slices of a baked potato and a small side salad with some pita bread. If you ask me $13.95 is a little steep for such a little amount of food, but I love greek, so I went for it. When I arrived to the restaurant to pick it up (yes, I picked it up...not even delivery) I was told the total was $18. I was shocked. When I told them that the price online was way less, the woman behind the counter nonchalantly said "oh yea, those prices are a few years old. Our website has issues." I asked for the price online to be honored as that's what was advertised and she refused. I paid for the food anyway as I had somewhere to be and was in a rush, but this was absolutely unacceptable! So here's my point: Make sure the prices are correct when ordering for take out or delivery and expect a small amount of food for the very expensive meal! Jimmy's...you lost a regular customer over a few dollars and the principal. I'll never go here again.

Reply to owner(s); the phone was not busy with another customer, as I called no less than 4 times over the course of 15 minutes. When I went in to order at counter, I asked if there was something wrong with your phone and I was told that you take the phone off the hook when you are too busy to answer. Too bad as I really enjoyed the food, and now go to "Its Just Greek" closer to my home and find its awesome food. So, you called Jimmy the Greek for take-out, but all you get is a busy tone? That's because the owner takes the phone off the hook. Too bad for you. Time to find another restaurant.
