Opinions de Coffee Greeks Bastrop
Highly recommend Coffee Greeks next time you need a delicious cup of coffee or have a craving for some Greek treats! They also sell fresh sourdough, truffles, and a great assortment of Greek food and ingredients you can't find anywhere else in Bastrop. The coffee was great with their house-made syrups, and the service was **outstanding**. The ladies inside were SO kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is adorable! I loved the fresh flowers on the tables, and the boutique has so many cute and unique clothes and accessories. Can't recommend this place enough, and I appreciate them being open until 5pm when most other coffee shops in Bastrop close around 2pm. Check them out next time you're on Main St! You won't be disappointed.
So glad we found this place. Bastrop definitely needs this flare of different cuisine/healthier options. We tried the power balls, the pistachio baklava, the truffles, and gyros. Everything was great. My only feedback would to maybe add lettuce, and more seasonings to the gyros. The tzatziki sauce was mild. Or maybe another sauce option with spice. But would definitely have it all again!
Fast and delicious! The horchata latte is unique and absolutely awesome. I tried the gyros sandwich and it was prepared perfectly. I great little cafe tucked away in one of the shops. A must try!
Fun little coffee house at the back of a shop. The Greek themed coffee, food, and desserts were delightful. I enjoyed a Greek coffee and baklava. They have a few tables, and there are benches outside on the sidewalk. Within the shop their stickers, magnets, and kitchen supplies with Greek sayings were especially entertaining. Their shop opens on the side to another series of shops and a smaller service counter. There is free parking along the surrounding streets. I look forward to stopping in again!
We had the tiropita, Italian sandwich, caramel macchiato, flat white, and mocha Mayan. All of it was exquisite. You can tell that the ingredients are chosen with care and prepared with expertise. Whether it was a specialized dish or a common item, Coffee Greeks executed with excellence on all of it, regardless. Their menu is informed by experience and is surprisingly accessible and familiar despite being a small business. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something new or familiar!
Get the Mayan mocha!!! I absolutely loved it! I didn't care for the baklava it's a bit dry but service and a darn good coffee made up for that! Service was amazing the lady running the coffee machine was super sweet and lovely. It's a nice place to go in, look around grab a cup and relax for a minute. 10/10 I'll be back!
Cute little coffee shop! This will be my new go-to for Matcha Latte and a tasty treat. The gentleman working the counter was wonderful and made my Matcha just how I like it. They also have a great variety of loose leaf teas/herbs that I will be back for. Give it a try and enjoy your coffee outside on one of the many benches.
Who would have thought one of the best places in central TX to get Gyros was tucked away inside a clothing boutique!? Everyone is always so nice, great food, plenty of spots to sit for lunch, it's great to see them grow and even better to have a spot right on main Street for some great food!
I stopped in before a haircut in downtown Bastrop and asked what I could get as a quick vegetarian snack. The owner warmed up some dolmas and made me the perfect little plate. The dolmas were fresh and flavorful, and the pita w/ tzatziki was great too! The staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. Will definitely be back.
I am doing a mini road trip on my way to Houston and I was looking for a coffee shop and I found one here in Bastrop Texas. They're very hospitable and the coffee that I got was a Mayan latte and it has steamed milk espresso chocolate cinnamon and cayenne pepper in it and it definitely wakes you. I also got a plain bagel with a plain cheese spread and I love that they spread it on the bagel that made me feel very bougie. And because I was taking it to go he was very nice and he cut it into four to make it easier to eat. Whenever I'm in town again I'd like to come here during lunch it's a very nice, quaint Boutique / Greek restaurant. And it's definitely Greek food. I'll definitely return and I recommend it. Plus it's local
I love this little spot! My triple cappuccino was great and the Walnut and Pistachio baklava are must haves. The people were also very kind - such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Def stop by here if you’re out on main!

Hidden gem at Bastrop. Perfect matcha latte and best baklavas ever. Do not miss this spot.
Ordered an Americano and a bagel with lox. The Americano was smooth and perfect not bitter or sour - the bagel well went above beyond with capers and arugula Togo along with the cream cheese and lox. Good food, nice people, affordable, will definitely be back.
Amazing little restaurant cafe tucked away in the back of a shop. We've been trying all the items on the menu and have loved all of them so far. The trout and lox bagel are top tier. Best food we've had in downtown bastrop, we will be back again!
Had an iced coffee and mousaka which was very tasty! Stayed awhile and enjoyed the easy-going ambiance. Ryan, who took my order, was amiable and provided great service.
Cute little shop in downtown Bastrop. Its part of a collection of smaller shops that are fun to browse and see what's available. Staff is lovely and the coffee tasty, with a nice selection of nibbles to enjoy with your drink. They have sandwiches and greek plates if you're looking for a bit of lunch. Nice spot.
Like stepping onto a side street in Kalamata. The owners have put an amazing effort into making the old Parish Hall into their own slice of Greece. The drinks menu is wide for all tastes, great staple foods from savory to sweet. When the Baklava cinnamon rolls are in stock, I buy them out. The sister store Haven is also a gift-getters dream for finding the right things for the right folks in my life.
Stumbled upon this place while I was strolling down Main Street street. I just returned from Greece, so when I found it I had to try the moussaka. It is amazing. And the owner and staff are so nice and friendly.
Great service, laid back atmosphere. Gyros are top tier. The baklavas were amazing. The iced chai, amazing. Iced matcha latte? Amazing! We will definitely be back. I must've walked past it a hundred times since they opened, shame on me.
Such a cute little shop in downtown Bastrop! Will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area.

I like to try the local owned coffee shops. I'm not a coffee conneseur, but mocha is my favorite drink. I had to look in the door to see the Coffee Greeks (a play on Geeks?). The store is welcoming & had natural soaps & such along with the variety of clothes & gifts. The coffee shop is in the back & had some truffles & Greek treats. I bought some espresso truffles & a light ice mocha. I gave my name & suddenly everyone working there called me by my name & that made me feel like I was welcome. My oddly specific order was made correctly. The coffee has a nice nutty flavor & wasn't bitter & the chocolate flavor was right on. If I lived in Bastrop I'd know the Coffee Greeks by name.
Quaint little Greek coffee shop. The americano and olive/feta omlete are perfect. Also tried the cappuccino and it was fantastic. It had a nice nuttiness to it with no trace of bitterness or acidity.

I have been looking high and low for an authentic Gyro and this place came through. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. It’s in the back of a boutique. The Pita was fresh and soft and the lamb was fabulous. I will be returning many more times in the future. Check it out and enjoy if you’re looking for a gyro, Greek Salad, and/other Greek dishes!
Pretty lackluster coffee, pretty sour. Also, prices are not listed on the menu. Definitely not a good option when there are much better coffee shops nearby. Coffee is definitely not worth the price.
Honestly not great. A cold Sara Lee bagel for five dollars (that was supposed to be “toasted”) and the woman working there was snarky for no reason. Her bad energy stayed with me for several hours and I won’t be going back.
