What a wonderful place to have a party upstairs in the private room it was a very fun amazing night with friends and family and the service the food everything was wonderful I highly recommend this place

I've been to three different Napper Tandy's. All are great for hanging out with a group or even hanging solo. Easy to meet people and make new friends. They all have live music and kareoke nights. I'd highly recommend for private parties. Been to a couple and had a great time.

The upstairs room is incredible!! The ambience and decor is spectacular, newly renovated and spacious. Clean, fresh all the while maintained classic characteristics. Great spot for an event.

I only started coming to Napper's in Bay Shore a few weeks ago. They have DJs on Fridays and Saturdays (usually), and have a very diverse crowd. There is an outside patio in the back if you want some fresh air and/or a break from the music/dancing. Staff is friendly and decent size bar inside and in the back, but it does get very crowded.

I go there to play poker and everyone eats around me enjoys the food. Just a great place to go and have fun

I miss the old Nutty Irishman but this has a refreshing pace. DJ was on point and drinks were flowing all night. It’s a small dance floor and the place is so much smaller itself but I think it’s bwcause they focus more on catering upstairs now. It’s a change but I like it.

Napper Tandy’s is an excellent establishment, only because of Sam the bartender. Sam is very accommodating, and makes you feel at home. She is knowledgeable about the drinks and won’t hesitate to make you something custom. She truly makes the “Nappertandy” experience.

We celebrated a family event here and I had to leave a review. I was so impressed with every aspect of service - from the planning, to the the way my family and I were treated the day of the party. Brenden was lovely to work with and Courtney could not have been more helpful and kind throughout the party. Everyone commented how great the food was too! 1st time at this place. We were party of 3 and Jess was our waitress. She was so great! She was very attentive to my sister's allergies and always checking on us..Fries, mozzarella sticks, and steak quesedilla were so good.. Drinks were great too! Definitely will be coming back!!

I had the most amazing bridal shower on Saturday. Napper’s is the definition of a hidden gem. The price and affordability of this place is insane. The room is absolutely stunning. To say I was obsessed with the exposed brick, the fireplace, and the turquoise statement bar is the biggest understatement. Shannon was an absolute godsend when it came to planning the party. She was also there during the entire event to lend a helping hand and make sure everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing. When you think of a bar, you don’t think about stellar buffet food but my god, I can’t tell you how many people raved over the buffet selections. The bar was fully stocked with 10 beer options, wines, and a whole champagne bar which had 8 different juices and fruit! The staff was so helpful, kind, and efficient. The guys stayed downstairs at the bar to celebrate my fiance's birthday and they were blown away with the bar service and food. He said the shrimp tacos were delicious…even better than Rhums! I am SO happy we went with Napper’s for the venue. It was an amazing experience.

If you could give more than 5 stars I would. Security is amazing, professional and definitely on guard and always prepared to do to their job when necessary; however they are great people and as long as you treat them with respect and are nice they will be the same with you. The bartenders are decent but some definitely stand out above the rest. Good atmosphere and overall a fun place to be.

Forget every assumption you have about an Irish Pub before visiting Napper Tandy’s in Bay Shore… My wife and I eat in Bay Shore frequently. We have seen Napper Tandy’s multiple times but never went in thinking it would be a loud and obnoxious dive bar. Boy were we ever wrong! We visited tonight (3/8/23) and sat at a table in a nook area opposite the bar. Our server was Ryan - who was also the bartender. Ryan greeted us warmly, we spoke about the dining selections in Bay Shore and other restaurants we’ve visited. Ryan quickly brought our drinks and gave us time to look at the menu (after offering some suggestions). He came back awhile later to take our orders and was again helpful in deciding from among the available specials. My wife had the lettuce wraps with chicken. At Ryan’s recommendation, I started with the potato leek soup and then had the Irish Bacon and Cabbage… leaner and tastier than Corned Beef (my other choice). Our food came out quickly and was prepared excellently. All of our selections were hot, cooked to perfection and tasty. Ryan checked in on us several times but was never annoying. He was engaging and friendly. We dine out once or twice a week. Rest assured that Napper Tandy’s in Bay Shore will be someplace we’ll visit again (soon). Excellent place for some irish style pub food and a good beer. Cannot deny that there is a server there named Hannah who works weekends. She is a master of her craft, a true expert at her trade. Not only is she an absolute goddess, but she makes going out and having her as your server a truly magnificent experience. She is always smiling, has amazing energy, is attentive, with the most beautiful eyes! If i could have her as my server everywhere I went, i would gladly do so in a heartbeat. Definitely a great place with excellent staff!!

What a great addition to the downtown Bay Shore area! I have been in a few times, once on a weekend afternoon, once for happy hour and once later in the evening-getting a feel for the different crowds and staff etc. The food is fantastic and the service is incredible, from the bartenders to the wait staff, and definitely security as well everyone was extremely friendly, courteous and professional. Personally, I had a great experience on a slower evening when Derek welcomed me and my group of friends at the door, and encouraged us to take a look around and see all of the renovations. We will absolutely be back, and I would encourage anyone in the area to check out this great new spot on Main Street!

I cannot say enough positive things about Nappertandy’s. I looked at, what felt like, every restaurant/venue in Suffolk County to find a location for my sister’s bridal shower. Nappertandy’s by far offered the best package, and the best price. The upstairs room was so perfect. Courtney made the planning process so so so easy, I did not have to stress out about anything. They provided linens, a rattan chair for the bride, a gift table, game table, dessert table, everything. I was very worried about finding a venue that was accessible for older people/those in wheelchairs and Nappertandy’s has an elevator. The food and staff were great! Our package included a cake, we were asked what color/writing we wanted and to our (very pleasant surprise) they went out of their way to give us a beautiful (and delicious) cake that perfectly matched the bridal shower theme. I highly highly recommend hosting an event here!

We don't eat meat other than fish and their Key West fish sandwich and custom salmon sandwich were out ofnthe world. Definitely the best sweet fries I've ever had. We customized both sandwiches with avocado and a fried egg and we couldn't be more Content. Live music was even more lot and drinks are delicious. Finny was specially amazing in hooking us up with everything we described we wanted!! I don't know how this place is 2.5 stars on yelp, people are clearly being trolls.

Have been going here for a number of years and enjoy the overall atmosphere and vibe. Just wish the beer glasses were chilled and the tap were colder otherwise we love it there.

The whole Bay Shore - Main Street area is so vibrant and rich with so many great restaurants. We didn't have reservations at some of the more posher places but came across Napper Tandys. The staff was so very nice and friendly, the service was excellent and the food was delicious!

Nice vibe with outdoor seating, surprisingly good food for a pub! Chicken avocado club sandwich was excellent as was the homemade potato chips!

Someone said it well, "once you graduate and get a job, you can leave Changing Times and go to Napper Tandy's"...The menu is a little sparse but the vibe is nice, beers are cold and the place is clean and comfortable. Recently had an affair in the catering area upstairs, very nicely done. Good Luck..

This is a really nice place. They hosted our reunion and provided the drinks, food and hors d'oeuvres. The food was pretty decent and the bartender did an excellent job at the mixed drinks. I was very satisfied with the food and the cleanliness of the establishment.

Great food and atmosphere. Best fries I've ever had. Good selection of beer, good service My only complaint is their seats... They're all stools even at the table and there's no where to hang your coat. So you're either eating with your coat on or sitting on it.. nothing like sitting on an expensive wool coat... I guess this isn't a problem in warner weather.

I was there for a bridal shower located upstairs. It was a great venue for the event. Parking is a issue for the location - limited or you have to park in a public lot. Service could have been organized when waiting at the tables. Otherwise a nice place.

Haven't been to the other busy bars close by but this just happened to be the one we chose to go to. Was quite busy but had a good live DJ which is all I was looking for. Drink prices were absurdly high but I'm sure that's common all over the island and New York but at least received a fair pour on the few drinks I ordered. Lots of young people but a seemingly decent variety of all age groups. Nice outdoor area with it's own bar and little tables with umbrellas. If you have a tab inside you can't add to it at the outside bar. My only complaint other than the drink prices would be the lack of seating inside, there literally is none.

Quiet Monday night near holidays. Came here from funeral. Party of 6 place not busy at all. Steak sandwich was damn good. Bartender only serving staff did a great job running around for service. Cannot speak on night life , was not that kind of night

The bouncer was very rude she was a girl with blonde hair even though all I ask for was the menu , however the waiter was great and food was good .

This is a good little spot but the dj only loves to play Spanish music and its normally packed but with room to move around drinks are descent parking is ok food is ok too in the back. There is also an outdoor area.

It seemed the waitress didn't want to be there. We were almost the only people in the whole place and she was a bit non challant about waiting on us. I have never seen a Guinness served with it running down the side of the glass, and no apology or extra napkins. It turned out very well, but the waitresses attitude was not necessary.

The food is really good and so is music but I've been there twice and both times was horrible. Security are jerks and discriminates against African American people. I paid for food and was told I could leave it behind the bar because I wanted to go dance. At the end of the night my food was gone and no one that worked there knew where it went. I lost food, money, and my fiance was racially profiled and stereotyped. I will NEVER go there again. I like it better when it was the Nutty Irish.

I’ve known it to be a party bar if you want a rowdy time. DJ is usually pretty good! Bar and and dancefloor get packed. Def not the upscale, grown and sexy vibe if that’s what you’re looking for.

First time visited Napper Tandy's in Bayshore the bartender had made the best irish coffee i ever had. I think the key was that he used heavy cream. Since then i have returned and I feel like the other bartenders here might not be coffee drinkers because the irish coffee that is made is ok. Its irish coffee but its not the same as that first visit. The food is mediocre. On my visit tonight i order a weekly special of 3 shredded chicken tacos because its a Tuesday night. The quality of these tacos is understandable if there is only one or two cooks total in the kitchen considering it is somewhat busy for a Tuesday night but still, its as if they just took grilled chicken and threw some tomatoes and avocados on topand sent it out of the kitchen. If it was $6 or $7 id so ok its expected they wouldnt be anything to great but for $14 dollars i expected more. They were bland and felt like they were thrown together in a hurry. Honestly the only reason i have come back here is for the irish coffee that i had on my first visit whicu so far has no been replicated. Which is upsetting because in my mind that was the only real draw to this place. Its a fine pub but theres nothing that makes it stand out especially amongst the other bars and eateries in bayshore. If they can replicate the irish coffee they had mad on my first visit as their standard for irish coffees it would be the draw of this location. Unfortunately the food is nothing to rave about and the drinks are your standard bar drinks. But they are crowded on a Tuesday night so i might just be picky and my opinion probably doesn't matter but im still entitled to it and i hope that at the very least they can step up their irish coffee game. As far as the description vs what was served, i see no grated cheese and the so called pico de gallo is tomatoes and a few small pieces of red onions.

You'd think ordering the corn beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's day at this Irish pub would be a good idea. Nope, it was dry and/or refried. Disappointing. Music was way WAY to loud to have a meal and conversation.

Went to an affair in their upstairs party room. Room is very nice ,clean and kept well. Was a little tight but that is not their fault. Staff was attentive and personable. The facility did run out of food at the buffet, which I found unfathomable and cake was in short supply and people were missed. Which is why they got the 2 stars. The food was average party fair , the chicken was good but the steak tidbits had way too many onions.

I’ve gone to this bar a few times and each time it was fun but Ik it could’ve been better. The music is usually pretty bad. I listen to hip hop, rap, rock, Latin music, pop etc so I can vibe to anything but the DJ just doesn’t know how to pick songs that blend sometimes. The crowd is pretty young which is fine but some of ppl there act like their auditioning for a new stomp the yard movie. I’d go again but I wouldn’t brag about it

I loved it more when it was the nutty Irishman it had that room warm Irish pub feel and the upstairs now they’ve closed it off it’s not the same. I remember when that place was way bigger. I remember when it was the firehouse before the nutty Irishman.. Still trying to find an authentic Irish pub atmosphere to those of the Irish pubs of violent, and not one of them hit the mark. Couldn’t even pour a proper Guinness. Food was OK. The corn beef is that OK but to get an appetizer took a while then to get My entrée. Yes it took quite some time.. I wish one of one Main Street was still around. That was the true Irish bar in Port Jeff just before the tracks it was owned by an Irish family. The lighting was correct. The way an Irish pub should be in the atmosphere was the way an Irish pub should be.

Unless you like hanging around trash...don’t bother coming here. Almost decent bar food, ok drinks...kind of what you expect. But the employees there are beyond rude...especially the outdoor bartender with the overly fake eyelashes (think her name is Kelsey or kelly). I won’t be back!

Racists. I got kicked out for dancing with a woman on a latino track. I requested latino music & the DJ told me it was an Irish American bar but he would see what could be done. Once played I was enjoying myself & a female began to dance with me. Seconds later her man had his hand around my throat while the THREE security guards stood around and watched while I nearly slipped from consciousness. My two friends, innocent bystanders, explained the situation yet I was removed form the premises. Unfair treatment & racial profiling at it's worse.

The owner of this establishment and his girlfriend have been arrested for animal cruelty. Simply put they left their young dog in the car for over 5 hours with the windows barely open. He did not survive and it is really disgusting. Gross

I order the arugala beet salad, with poppy seed dressing. What I got was spinach cheese and raspberry dressing. I was given 4 slices of beets when I questioned it? If you don't have the item available, just tell me that, disappointed

Bartenders seem to have issues with women. Attended an event with 25 women friends to see a band. We could not get served by most fo the bartenders. We won't go back.

Went to wait in line and they wouldn't let anyone else in because it was full (definitely not full) and couldn't help but notice most people in line were minorities. Bouncer made everyone on line clear the area. Magically 5 minutes later when everyone in line was white there was plenty of room and everyone got in. Crazy this still happens.

Used to love it here, always had a fun night out coming here. But recently, it’s gone way downhill, the music is terrible now, and security likes to start problems and harass you.

Awful experience. The older bouncer with tattoos almost snapped my REAL ID without even using the machine or light to check it. Then proceeded to threaten to kick out my friends because of her “attitude” when he was the one arguing with us about my ID that is real. I’ve never seen a bouncer, nonetheless a GROWN man, give a woman such an horrible attitude. Absolutely disgraceful.

This place is utterly disgusting, went here for lunch yesterday. There was a family of Cockroaches walking around on tables and plates on the empty table next to me… smells moldy and gross inside too the food was disgusting had no flavor the beer was flat and had lip stains on the glass. Bayshore is evolving with places like pecado ITA kitchen and crapper tandys is not part of the future I would be surprised to see them still there in 5 years. This was one of my worst bar experiences. Absolutely unprofessional and there is never a manager to help with a problem. Then shifts changed and my group received different drinks even though we never changed our order. They also overcharged my card and told me I didn’t have to sign. I would never trust them with my money ever again. Beware!

Had a late lunch here today burger was burnt like a hockey puck found a long hair in my food as well with so many better options in the area only come here if you are looking for a mediocre meal. The people who work here are no better than the food

I wouldn’t come here again if I was paid. And it’s not the actual restaurant. It’s their vendor security company. The most racist bigoted security company on long island. I went for a birthday with 10 girls and 2 guys. I’m black. First they try to single me out and kick me out while on the dance floor. they think I’m vaping on the dance floor when I don’t vape. Next, an hour later,I walk 15 seconds to my car to put my jacket (since there is 0 coat check) in the car in the back parking lot and come back. They tell me I can’t come back in. I let the bouncer know I was just inside (3x times). The bouncer and his buddy standing in the back proceed to mock my words and repeat what I said but like I’m autistic as the bouncer begrudgingly lets me back in. Even tho he saw me walk right past him 15 seconds before. This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with this place but now I’m speaking up. If you’re any type of minority just have a back up plan.

Use to have a great time in this place on Friday's and Saturday nights until I'm not sure what went wrong with the DJ's everyone leaves early because the music selection SUCKS I've seen on a previous review somebody said "It is as if on it's playlist" and they couldn't be more right! I came in alone and simply just wanted 1 drink. I was not able to even get the bartenders attention, I had to ask the guy to the right of me to get me, my drink. I explained my drink and gave him the cash. A few minutes 3 young ladies came over asking how i was able to get a drink because the bartenders were not paying attention to the female occupants. I waved my hand and said "excuse me, these 3 women would like a white claw" instantly he put this blue Lazer light on and security escorted me out. I had not finished my 1 drink and had no idea why I was being put out. Unexpectedly. I've been in this establishment prior with my husband and have no received such treatment.

Horrible service given by the girl working on July 3 around 4:00. Lazy and rude. My 22 year old son gave her his ID, and her nasty comment was "Go ahead, try to feel older," meaning she thought he was using a fake ID. She ignored all other customers who were not seated at the bar as well. We had to stand up and pretend to leave in order to get our check. She didn't even deliver the food! The chef did, and he was nice.
