Very good pizza. One thing that stood out the most to me, is their consistency with the dough. Crunchy, not burnt- and airy if you get the Sicilian slice. Also tried the spicy honey bar pie. Not spicy at all (and I find too many peperoni spicy lol) and it hit. Def give them a try.

Overall, great place. Come here for lunch 3-4 times a week and never leave with a complaint. Great service and atmosphere. Employees are all really nice and I personally love the buffalo chicken slice. Would definitely recommend.

Since I moved to Queens I was trying to locate a good pizzeria since I am extremely picky. I found one family owned one but they closer down and then I found this one. They are tasty and provide a variety of choices for all. Even my husband who is vegan was so excited to have a large pie him to eat.

So we ate outside and the first thing I can say is, Paul, the owner and all the staff are super nice. We had the lunch special which is any hero or any of the sandwiches with a soda for $8. Screaming deal (ends at the end of April, 2021 as of this review). We ordered the meatball hero and the chicken pesto sandwich. This is where it gets really good. Chicken was moist and absolutely delicious with fresh mozzarella, peppers and tomatoes on a scrumptious focaccia bread, toasted to perfection. And let me tell you, if you like meatballs - I must say that the meatballs at The Pizzeria are, dare I say, the best I've ever eaten in any pizzeria! No joke. Listen, when you walk into a pizzeria and the door is held open with a big can of San Marzano tomatoes...you know it's going to be incredible. The pizza was hot, the base and crust were crispy without being overdone, and the sweet chili slice I got was plenty flavorful. I also had a few buffalo garlic knots - they were tasty and only very slightly spicy, a pleasant side dish for the slice. The space was clean, and seemed well-kept. The staff were friendly and attentive. I really do recommend this place. If you're passing through the area, it's worth a detour. I will be returning for lunch on a regular basis for sure.

Great gluten free/dairy free pizza. Had half pepperoni and half sausage with green pepper toppings and it was delicious, wish I took a picture but I ate it too fast! The pizza was a good size too.

This has become one of my favorite pizza spots on Long Island. I DoorDash multiple times a week from them to my office as well as my home. I work in Holbrook and live in ronkonkoma and I still will always support. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The buffalo knots are unreal, the broccoli pinwheels are delicious and the chicken rolls are literally the best I’ve had. My fave has to be the vodka sauce sausage crumble slice. The office loves it, my boyfriend and I love it. 10/10 always

(This is an edited review) Wow. My original review was pure dissatisfaction. The pizza was a 2/5 and I was being generous in that review because the atmosphere was nice and so were the people. The owner assured me that this was a one-off and that they have a high standard of pizza and made it right with me after my lack-luster purchase. I figured let me try another type in case the pepperoni just isn’t good at this place. I said I would go back and try it again and I did. I tried something sort of different— half pep and half Buffalo chicken. What a difference! I mean, this pizza is by far some of the best I’ve had on Long Island! I expected it to be better, but not to this extent! I actually feel bad for my original review now. So glad I gave them another shot! 5 stars all around! And to the owner: Hats off to you and your team, sir! Well done! That’s how to run a business! Highly, highly recommend!

The Pizza has good flavor. The only thing is they don't heat up the slices enough. Just warm so let them know if you like it hot.

Normally I would give 5 stars for food because I have always had great meals here. I came here last Saturday to pick up a bar pie. Ordered through Grubhub. Order would be ready between 8pm-8:10pm. Got there at 8. The pie that the server gave me was sitting in a box on top of 3 others and a couple on top of it so was probably sitting for awhile. Thought nothing of it because it’s always good here, but when I got home the pizza was not edible. Took out 3 slices for me and my family and maybe took 2 bites. Could not eat the crust which I usually love. Hopefully this was a one off. I will go back again but will check it next time

Great food, and the atmosphere is clean and modern. Love the Pizzerias. The staff was a little timid and it was busy. It gets confusing who is being helped and where to stand. The manager was a bit loud too, ordering everyone around. We shouldn't hear that. It was slightly chaotic in there for no reason. Ultimately, they are great. The food is outstanding. The tables were clean. It's a thumbs up for me. A busy holiday night most likely was the reason. Go see them, Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

Clean and nice inside. Service was good. Pizza was okay. Very hipster-y type slices; not traditional NY pizza. Garlic knots looked good, soft interior but really lacked any flavor.

Normally I am a big fan of the Pizzeria franchise, however I was disappointed in the service tonight. I ordered a pie & was told it would be ready 20 minutes later. I arrived in a timely manner, paid my bill then was informed that my pie was not ready and it would be a few minutes. I waited an additional 20 minutes in the restaurant. I would have preferred if they were transparent on the phone about the timing rather than telling me they were running behind after taking my money. The pizza is good, but the disregard of my time wasn’t appreciated.

Ordered on DoorDash. The food came on time and the order was correct. Ordered a plain pie, garlic bread with mozzarella and Buffalo garlic knots. The pizza was okay. Was not a fan of the garlic bread or knots.

Not sure why I got 6 burned garlic knots when I asked for 3 garlic knots. They were pretty bad....waste of money. Pizza was ok....but I like to order knots with our pies so may not try again.

I went to the pizzeria of Bayport for a few regular slices. The girls behind the counter are kind of slow and have a little bit of a attitude which I did not like. And the prices are ridiculous . $4.15 for a slice is a bit high.

Chicken cutlet parm. Stromboli — couldn’t be sure it was really chicken… If it was, it was frozen bits of chicken from a bag at Sam’s Club… Beer was good but only one beer available (Perroni) Pepperoni pinwheel was okay — under cooked and a little mushy, but I think that’s typical for pinwheels unless you hit the pinwheel lotto. Went back up to get a slice and she was like what kinda slice? Uh — cheese. “Oh, you mean regular?” Yes. So, she says have a seat and we’ll bring it to you. I’m like — it’s right there — just came out the oven — I don’t want it too hot. “Oh okay. Jimmy, not too hot.” (They gave me one that was sitting there a while not the fresh one). So, I go sit down and hollers out “regular slice!” Shaking my head. I thought you asked me to sit down so you could bring it to me. Awkward experience, overall. Oh, and the beer tap wasn’t working, so she asked for help and the guy comes over and looks and says just give him the money back. I’m like, you can’t get it working? lol They did get it working. Co2 line wasn’t connected

Received a DoorDash order last night, garlic knots were literally ice cold they didn't even bother to hit him up. Pizza was hot, good not great. I understand the hate on delivery/doorDash, but no reason to impact the quality of the food I ordered.

Been coming for sometime now and this is not the first time and the same young lady black hair. She is very aggressive and not personable she takes control over every situation and not letting her co workers do it as if she is better than all of them. I feel rushed out the door. She gives of the vibe like she doesn’t care about the customer only making sure u pay and get out. Needs better training Maybe not the place for her. And she’s on her phone a lot FOOD IS AMAZING AND SO ARE THE OTHER PERES

The pizza is solid and has a good foundation (speaking generally across several slices I've tried), but lacks robustness of flavor—I wish they took more risk with spices. Flavor lacks that "hit!" The service isn't the greatest. They appear to be selective in who they greet and give attention to. I've only been there in the midday during busy hours, but still no excuse not to say a simple hello, thank you or goodbye. No excuse for not treating everyone equally. Politeness, I find, is becoming more rare these days. What's going on? Most times, people behind the counter won't even ask if you need help... creating a sort of confusion on whether or not they are ready to help you or are they too busy doing something else...are they angry....are they???? hmmm.... One doesn't really know.... There's potential here, but retraining is recommending and try some more spices/flavor.

I stopped by for a quick slice of pizza and was the only customer in the shop at the time. While waiting for my slice to be heated, I noticed two employees, one of who seemed to be a manager having a loud conversation filled with excessive profanity and blantant disregard of customer service. The pizza itself was decent, slightly overdone but nothing major. However, the unprofessional behavior left a bad impression. When I left, nobody acknowledged me or even said "Thank you." Even without other customers present, maintaining a respectful atmosphere should be a priority.

A week ago me and my crew ordered 3 speciality pies. Young Lady on the phone told me that waiting time was 25 min, my coworkers went 30 min after call was placed. Needless to say our food was not ready, order was wrong, one of the pies we ordered was buffalo chicken and we got plain pizza. 50 min after waiting Manager decided to be funny and said -on the behalf our general manager we give You 25$ gift card because You’ve waited so long. Long story short gift card had 0$ on it. Shame on You.

Heres how tonight’s meal went. Asked for a side of spaghetti, didn’t get it. Asked for an eggplant parm hero, got chicken parm instead. The slices? Cold. The bonus? A large mosquito in the chicken francese.. 👍 One and done with “The Pizzeria”

Pizza is less than mediocre and needs flavor and salt! The staff are fresh and not accommodating at all: think they're funny being snarky and laughing at customers. Place is the size of a linen closet and offers no place to wait and limited tables inside with some outdoor tables. Won't be back. Waste of money and time.

The pizza is terrible nowadays . We used to love this place but the last 2 times we have ordered the pizza taste like burnt oven and it taste like cardboard. Unfortunately we will not be ordering from them any time soon.

Please do not eat here if you are vegetarian. I asked two workers if The Mezzi Rig was vegetarian/meat free and they told me yes it was. I made sure and reread the menu and saw that there was no meat in it. I then get my food and go home and start eating my food. I was in shock to see I got the complete wrong pasta and it had meat inside of it. I am vegetarian for religion and health issues. So I am so disappointed and disgusted with the service I let them know we don’t eat meat. Could have been someone in the kitchen put the wrong pasta in the wrong bag but this was a severe mistake because my mother and I started eating and both ate the meat filled pasta thinking we got a vegetarian pasta. I’m so sad because I love the food from this place.

The pizza honestly just lacks flavor. I figured I’d give this place a try because I know plenty of people who like it but I just don’t understand the hype. Not only that, but both as a customer and as a DoorDash pickup driver, the staff is rude a lot of the time, at best try to hide it but you know when the staff is being snarky or talking to you like an idiot. I’ve not only experienced it but seen it with other customers. It’s very off putting, and I always dread getting a pick up order here because of how rude the staff is

Having grown up in Brooklyn I must say that this Grandma Pie was absolutely the most disgusting I have ever eaten! Raw dough, sloppy toppings and horrendous flavor. Even waiting 30 minutes plus was uncomfortable. Watching people that show no care in their product is sickening. Awful! Umberto’s in Sayville is the best around. I will never again wander from them again! Umbertos rules!
