This is a great place to eat, and enjoy social time. Love their happy hour menu at the bar, appetizers are great! I like the fried mozzarella and the "steak nuggets" (actually, they're called 'Tenderloin Bites'). Staff is always very attentive, from the door staff greeting you, to the wait staff, to the managers checking on your experience. Recommended, 100%..
Amanda was my server and she was amazing! The salad was good along with the fried mushrooms, I got a special on prime rib and it was delicious as well and cooked medium rare like I asked! Great place, great cooks, great server! Thank you Amanda!
Had a great dining experience. Steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Salad was fresh. Beer was cold. Our waiter Bek was awesome, attentive and charming. If you are looking for a reasonably priced steak in Bee Cave, this one checked all our boxes.
To be honest, the last couple of times we dined ther, the experience did not match Saltgrass' standards. We gave it another shot tonight and the evening was very enjoyable. A special shout out to our server Amanda. She was very courteous, conscientious, knowledgeable and knew how to time the service so the evening was very enjoyable.
My first time going to this place for food as I was visiting, they were very busy, the place was pack, I ordered to go, when I went to pick up, I had a few issues with my order, I spoke with a manager and they did the right thing and made it right, these people care about their customers, if you ever have a problem with service or food, let them know, and they will do their best to elevate the experience, at least that was my experience, thank you to Joe for helping me, I will definitely come back and recommend this place.
I believe we arrived at about 8:30 PM. I asked if they were still open because the wait staff were cleaning the floors and tables as if they were closing. We were seated, and as our meal was served, a wait staff person started sweeping around our table loudly banging on the dust pan, which was very annoying. My wife complained about the noise to our waitress. She apologized, but no action was taken. As soon as the waitress finished, a waiter started to sweep and loudly clang on the dust pan. The sweeping and noise ruined the entire stay. Our server was great, and other than telling management about our issue, was very attentive. Will we go back? I don't know. There's a chance that we will, but not for an evening out.
After a late meeting I was able to grab a table at Saltgrass right before they closed. Dinner was excellent and Stella took great care of me. I also wasn’t shunned for asking for A1. Highly recommend!
Always a great stop coming back from Austin. Fantastic food, service and ambiance...
Anabelle was amazing. She was very attentive and kind. The cooks made some great food! The steaks were melt in your mouth delicious. Love Saltgrass!
Jordy was an amazing server tonight! He was very sweet and got my drinks and food out at a very fast pace. He was also very friendly and made amazing conversation even though he was pretty busy. I will definitely come back and see him and try more of the amazing food :)
We brought the toddler grandkids in with us last week. We had Stella as our waitstaff. We have had her a few times before as our server. She did not disappoint! She took our order right away as the kids were hungry. Food came out quickly. It was delicious. Stella was fun yet professional. She was attentive to the grandkids and to us. This Saltgrass restaurant is one we enjoy visiting, often.
Hubby and I decided to go for dinner, we were very impressed with Dustin our waiter. He really toke care of us, food was excellent. We deffently go back again. Just wish it wasn't so dark , they need to open blinds to le light in.
I loved everything I had, the Ribeye steak, salad, green beans, and even the bread, all with great quality. I also appreciate the service from Sophia. Although the restaurant was quite busy, she was very professional and took good care of me. Last but not least, for customers arriving before 6pm on weekdays, there are good deals with Lunch and Early Dinner Specials. I’ll definitely come back.
Get the queso! The side salad with ranch dressing is very good. It was served on a cold plate and the lettuce was very fresh. We had the queso and I put some of that in my baked potato and it was excellent. I'm not into steak, but I went because my husband is. He said his steak was very good. I had fried shrimp and they were a good size for a meal. Our waiter, Beck (I probably spelled that wrong) was excellent. Very attentive, polite, and fast to bring things out. The restaurant is nicely decorated inside and is clean. The only thing I wouldn't do again is sit at the table right by the kitchen. It's a little noisy.
Ribs are Awesome, just a little less sauce. And their shrimp, fried or broiled are also Amazing! They also have Great desserts, especially the carrot cake, and cheese cake.
This was an enjoyable lunch. Jaz, our server was friendly and gave us prompt service. She was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and we will be back.
Food was good, had Annabelle as a sever and was very friendly. Nice environment for a chill night and good food.
Had a pleasant experience, my waitress was Marissa she was very nice and helpful, will come here again
Great food and excellent service. Because we ate therecolors seem to be more vibrant life is happier too.my soelling improved also.
Had a great experience at Saltgrass. The service was excellent, and our server, Monty, took great care of us. He was attentive without being overbearing and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was really welcoming. Definitely looking forward to coming back.
My friends and I went to Saltgrass last night and had a great time! Our server, Daphne, was just the sweetest and helped us have the best experience. She was very attentive, knowledgable, and friendly. The food was delicious and the service from Daphne was outstanding!
Our recent experience was great! Ordered the Pats ribeye cooked medium, and it came out tender, and the temp was on point. The seasoned green beans we asked extra steamed, that came out perfect. The baked potato wasn't over baked either. Overall, we were very pleased with the food and service at this location. We will be back!
Great steaks and food. I would definitely recommend the rattlers (shrimp with a cheesy sauce put into a jalapeno and fried) or their bacon wrapped quail. The brisket here is not that great, and neither are their dishes with it. However, their steaks are wonderful. I also had the opportunity to try their Nathan's hot chicken sandwich (I love spicy food), and while not exactly hot for me, it still was great.
This place was absolutely delicious! Service and atmosphere was great. I would love to go back
Saltgrass is definitely one of the better local places to go. The food is delicious and it is a bit pricey but the portion sizes even it out. The drinks are also good (notably the strawberry daiquiri!!). My server, Rachel, was also fantastic. She was so sweet and prompt and we had great conversation. She made sure to take care of everything with a smile on her face. I always ask for her when I go, and I recommend y'all do the same! :)
First off the prime rib is amazing. Apparently Fridays and Saturdays only. Came here before seeing a movie and the food (OMG the prime rib) and service were great. Will definitely be back again. Did I mention how good the prime rib was.
I had a lovely solo dinner at the bar tonight and Stella took excellent care of me. Her wine suggestion was outstanding and she was knowledgeable on the wine offerings for this location. The bar area, restaurant, and restroom were impeccably clean. I’m sorry to see the tenderloin and mushroom appetizer go, but the chopped beef steak was excellent. Thank you for the outstanding experience as I worked in Lakeway. Good job Stella!
After a lackluster experience at Parkside in downtown we were able to get a table at this location. Last minute on valentines day I wasn't expecting much but our server, Crystal, made it a great experience. Thanks to her I will be coming back again in the future.
Jazz, the waitress was, professional, polite, made the dinning experience a great experience! My grandma and I will continue to come back because of this dinning experience and jazz should be accommodated for this. Thank you!!
My waiter Ismael was the BEST he was so attentive and knew how to keep a positive attitude! I would 100% recommend asking for him for some warm welcoming service!
Saltgrass is a favorite to stop in for me. Well, Landry properties in general. I'm sad that last week they removed shrimp cocktail from the menu. I shouldn't have ordered all fried foods after learning my favorite app is no longer available. Don't get me wrong the fried mushrooms, onion strings, and chicken tenders were all great even if I didn't finish half of it all; just a bad idea for me I'll be praying for later. 🤦♂️ The cheese cake at the end was the heart idea I had before starting the meal. Also excellent! (I just racked up a bill for my body that'll hurt later). Take a so in here, staff are friendly and helpful! Tip: use open table to make a reservation here. Enjoy!
Absolutely fabulous the food was amazing and the service was even better top notch stuff here 👌 speaking from experience I used to be a Server for years and everything about our visit was just awesome Keep up the Great Work!!
Salt grass is on top of their game. This 12oz ribeye was delicious with some herb rice. Also the country fried steak is delicious but I can't decide if the country fried chicken is better it's so tender you can cut through with a fork.. and the salad picture is a wedge salad, a chunk of iceberg lettuce topped with ranch and balsamic dressings and tomatoes and blue cheese crumbles and chopped bacon. The service is great, the managers Erin, Meredith, Jack, and Rob are great! Five ⭐ s!!
Highly recommend Saltgrass in Bee Cave. Ask for Adriene she’s the best waitress! We love going there on Thursdays, half of bottle of wine. Food is excellent and best service.
Always a great steak. Whenever I'm in town I head for dinner there. Center cut sirloin and loaded mash potatoes are delicious. Service is friendly. Give them a try
My husband and I came here to do our private gender reveal. The service was amazing, they were so sweet and excited for us <3 they went above and beyond to make our night memorable. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked so well. Thank you!!
Samaria was our server and she was fantastic. We also met the manager Christina and they both took care of us when the snapper my dad ordered was a little dry. They brought him some bbq ribs instead and they were “fall off the bone, melt in your mouth” good! A great experience overall.
Our waiter was Samantha and I can say she is a beautiful kind hearted person so lovely to serve us made us feel right at home and made sure we had everything we needed. I appreciate her so much.
My first time dining here was an amazing experience! My waiter Ismael truly knew how to navigate the menu and helped me decide my meal. Loved the fried pickles.
Jesse was an amazing server he made me and my family have an amazing dinner he was efficient at his work making sure we where serviced to his greatest potential felt very warm and welcoming great server!
Had the best service with Ismael tonight! It was his first day but he seemed like a pro! Very knowledgeable about the menu and even suggested a couple items!
Had a great dinner. Jazzlyna was our server. She did a great job and was very friendly. The steaks were juicy and had great seasoning
Our bartender Jazz was top of the line in every way! Happy hr is not to be missed here. The manager Christina was also such a pleasure. Would absolutely recommend and we will be back!
Decided to go to Saltgrass with a few other moms after a long day of multiple kids practices and was so happy that we did. We did not have a reservation but they were extremely accommodating with the seating and the rate of how we were all taken care of. The server was very pleasant and had great recommendations for the adults and children and came by multiple times to ensure everything was pleasant. After our desserts a member of management came by and thanked us for being loyalty members - a wonderful experience all around after a long day ! Great service , Great prices , and Great food .
My husband & thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here and the service was first rate! My steak & his chicken breast was cooked to absolute perfection & so tender. Highly recommend this restaurant for casual & special occasion dining. And get a piece of carrot cake to go! There's enough for two!
Great place for a good and healthy lunch option. We had the flash fried green beans. They were seasoned so well. The beef tips with mushrooms were delicious. They have a dog friendly patio. We ate out in the nice sunshine overlooking the water with our little dog. What a fun afternoon adventure.
I love Saltgrass! I’ve visited many locations, but this one, gorgeous! Of course, they are consistent with their foods. You can always grab a great steak and have a Texas Tea! This location is located near the Galleria in Austin. Thank God I had an opportunity to get there before the dinner crowd so that I could grab some great pics. The staff is simply wonderful, and very friendly. Of course, the geese in the pond enhanced the outdoor scenery beautifully!
We ate here today. Service, food and atmosphere were all great!! We had Cheese Fries for our appetizer. Chicken Fried Chicken for our entree. Brian our server brought us fresh made Beer bread that was delicious to get us started. We recommend you try Saltgrass Steakhouse out .... you won't be disappointed!! We will try the home made Cheesecake out next time we go..... didn't have room left for it this time!!
A huge shout out to Ms. Crystal, our server, at this location. Although the food and ambiance could be better, Ms. Crystal was on point and an absolute professional. She made our lunch experience more enjoyable. Saltgrass is lucky to have her as a team member.
The food is normally good to great, but the service from waitress to manager is always top notch. I recommend bee cave to everyone.
Food was good, service was very good, a bit over priced.
Good as a steak house goes, we had lunch. Our waiter was great, very attentive. I ordered their version of surf and turf steak and shrimp. I ordered medium rare, though it was closer to medium, the others ordered rare and got medium rare, so something to keep in mind. House salad was fresh and fries were good. The fried green beans were also good. You could order asparagus as a side. Over all a good lunch spot.
Great customer service nice atmosphere super friendly staff. Steak and Shrimp a must try.
My husband and I came for a casual steak dinner on a whim. We had a server named Amanda and she was easily 11/10 for service. Everything was clean and we had a booth away from the crowds. Amanda was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, beer, and the wine list. The only reason I gave 4 stars overall was because my husband’s steak was overcooked (it was well done instead of medium rare). We hadn’t been to Saltgrass in many years- it was a nice casual place to grab a steak.
Marissa provided very good service! Thanks for a nice pleasant dinner.
Took my wife to lunch here. We've been here for dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. To start we ordered fried mushrooms. They were over the top awesome and plentiful. I ordered the blackened red fish. It was delicious almost wanted it to be a bigger fish. Topping was tasty. Mashed potatoes were cold, but toppings were nice. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak. It was big. Could have used a little more Gravy. She likes salt on her food and she said it was really Salty so she didn't eat much of it. Brought it home to feed to the fox in our yard. See if he'll like Salty meat. Lol. Don't recommend the chicken fried steak. Salads were good. Why do we put croutons in a salad such a useless item. We just take them out. Our server was great and the ambiance was relaxing. I'd go back to try different plates. We would not try either plate we ordered again. Until next time...
Not a great value when they don't have the steak cuts from the menu. While they were happy to resolve each error, it does make the dinning experience stressful because one is constantly challenged to verify everything.
I recently dined at Saltgrass Steak House in Austin, TX, and while some aspects were positive, others were disappointing. The ribs I ordered were overcooked, with the BBQ sauce burnt, making them far from enjoyable. On the other hand, my friend was happy with their medium-rare steak, which was cooked to their liking. The service was a highlight, as our waitress was attentive and even offered wine samples to help my friend find the perfect pairing. The restaurant had plenty of parking and clean restrooms, which added to the overall convenience. The atmosphere was pleasant, and all the staff members were friendly. While the experience had its ups and downs, the poor quality of the ribs was a significant letdown.
The filet was paper thin and just average in flavor. My wife had Oscar Salmon and she liked it.... going forward I won't order a steak there
Food was good but the service lacked speed. It was very slow it took them over 40 min to take our order and it took 42 min for the order to come out. They seated us quickly and when checking out we had to ask 2 people for the check. It appeared as though they were fully staffed but possibly new servers and cooks. Not a very good experience. All the other times I have gone service was great but this time not so good maybe next time.
It was way too cold for all six of us, we had to wait outside while the food was served because of that. It was just too cold to sit in there, we left as soon as we could. The steaks we very good. Ribbs and chickens all dry. Only was I would go back is with a good jacket and ordering steaks only.
Disclaimers: ///Some things went wrong on our end, so I'm adding one star to balance out my bias. Pros: +Our server was attentive, polite, and helpful. So too was an assistant manager who came out to check on us now and again. +They offer free bread to start with! +The Molasses bread is rather good. A little matting in the center, but not a lot of matting. Definitely quite good for free bread. +The food made it out to us in fairly good time after ordering. +The potatoes in the "Cheese Fries" order had great presentation- I like the way the wedges were arranged, the color was inviting, and I like the crown of sour cream and chives on the top. The potatoes were thoroughly steamed. +The restrooms have motion-activated faucets. +The restrooms were stocked with paper towels. +The toilets worked. +I strongly like the pictures of the women in the men's restroom. Hey, I'm fading, not married. Cons: -Front reception service was cold and clearly eager to get rid of us. Great qualities to have for an accountant, and a conditionally tolerable quality for a chef, but not a hostess. -Food quality is inconsistent. We ordered three identical steaks, medium. Mine was mostly blue-rare, my parents got an average of medium and medium-rare each. Cooking levels varied within individual steaks as well; I for example had a bold bulk of blue-rare with a few off medium spots. Likewise, the steaks had varying salt and pepper, with some patches on the outside seeming to hint at a strong flavor, and other spots bland. -The "cheesy fries" are not very cheesy. There is some, yes, but in a very thin layer. -The potatoes' flavoring only is evident on the surface. Underneath, each wedge is just a potato-flavored steamed potato. -The Asparagus was dry and very flexible. This would be nice as a basic complimentary side, but we were upcharged for the asparagus, and not a paltry amount either. We paid Salt Grass extra, to get actual *salt grass* with our steaks. -That aforementioned good molasses bread? Well that's intended to be a starter, and it was offered as such, but we had to remind after we'd gotten our main courses before the bread at last came to our table. --They have a picture of a naked baby's backside right outside the restrooms. At all. Let alone in an eatery. -The paper towel dispensers have wide openings on the top, over which one reaches to pull a towel. This opens the question of how much liquid- and matter within- from the last guy dripped down onto the towel you're grabbing. -Everything is absurdly expensive. All these mistakes offer a sort of down-in-the-grit feel, somewhere near the level of a honkey-tonk; they would justify a very small bill. However, we paid more than $100 for this. Two full tanks of gas in this economy, for a meal I'd get a C at best for turning in at my recent CHEF 1301 class in ACC Highland. Neutral: =The decorations, to put it bluntly, are hokey. However, they're definitely cleaner and more neatly arranged than your average honky-tonk. For folks who go for this aesthetic, there's plenty to get lost in here; framed pictures of Anglo-Western-ish stuff occupy more wall space than the visible wall paper. However, for those of us in Tejas who have had enough of it and want something new, I would recommend looking elsewhere for interesting or likable motifs and decorations. _________ For us personally, not our kind of place. In and of itself, not irredeemable by any means, just obviously amid a downturn in morale and quality assurance. This in and of itself would merit two stars out of five, but the price is exorbitant. Four steaks of inconsistent cooking status, underwhelming flavor, and a plate of potatoes whose spices only ran skin deep ran us more than $100. Overpricing is a big negative, and brings my rating down to one star. Which is lifted to two stars, again, by the bias-countering extra star promised above.
I had reservations for my daughter and I to have a nice NYE dinner before going to watch fireworks. It was very disappointing, starting with our server who spoke in a soft, monotone, voice with an accent which made him hard to understand. The kitchen messed up on both mine and my daughter’s orders. I order steak with grilled shrimp. When my plate was served, the grilled shrimp wasn’t on it Lol and it clearly said on the order ticket! so they brought it separately, which took forever. I was pretty much done eating when it arrived. My daughter ordered the chicken fried chicken with gravy on the side. When it was brought out, it had gravy on top with a side of gravy also. Not to mention, the normal large cfc was quite small. So it was sent back and a new, larger, piece was brought out with the gravy on the side this time. Again, took way too long to come out. It was overpriced for what we received. Total for 2 with tip was over $90 we could have gone to Chili’s next door for half the price and had a better meal. Very disappointing! This location use to be good but clearly has gone down hill. I will not be returning anytime soon.
Staff was indifferent to my presence. Food wasn’t fast but I expected that as I ordered my steak medium well. Before anyone goes ape on me, I’ve noticed a trend of way undercooked meat. So have a look at he picture of my medium well steak before you decide I’m crazy. It was all tasty but I’m glad I got it to go, so I could finish cooking it. Not excited but the flavor was fine, the Restaraunt had a decent vibe, especially the front porch. And the beer was ICE cold which is nice, and rare. (Irony)
I eat at the Saltgrass in Bee Cave about six times a year. I live withing walking distance. We dined there on Christmas Eve because it was one of the few places that was opened late and a steak sounded good. It was crowded when we arrived just after 7pm and we were told the wait was going to be 20 minutes. After waiting in the bar for 40 minutes and I asked one of the three hosts if a table would be available soon and they immediately sat us. I think they forgot about us. The wine by the glass I wanted was out of stock, that is forgivable. The waitress mixed up our salads, the Ranch and Blue Cheese do look similar. That too is forgivable. About 15 minutes after we finished our salads the steaks arrived. What is not forgivable, is what was served to me as a medium rare Pat's Ribeye. A thin piece of meat that looked like a skirt steak, pounded as thin as a McDonald's hamburger patty. A very tough, stringy "steak". I was very disappointed, but by this time I was very hungry. I ate most of it. The baked potato was very good. I used to work as a cook, I would have be embarrassed, as a cook in a steakhouse, to pass something like that off as a ribeye steak. I understand it was late on Christmas Eve, but that was the worst steak I've ever had in a restaurant.
We were seated quickly, and our appetizer (salad) came out right away. We only ordered two kids’ meals (chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese) and one entrée (steak and shrimp). Unfortunately, it took 50–55 minutes for our food to arrive after placing the order. During this time, I noticed guests who arrived after us were served much sooner. We had two servers (one in training), and both provided excellent service — very attentive and polite. The issue seemed to be entirely in the back of the house, where food was delayed, and there was no communication with the servers. I had an 8-year-old and a 1-year-old with me, and waiting nearly an hour for kids’ meals was extremely difficult. After 45 minutes, I asked to speak with a manager. He apologized, explained they were “slammed,” and said he would take care of it. However, he never returned to update us or check in again. After finishing our meal and waiting another 15–20 minutes, we finally paid our $52 bill and left. While the front-of-house service was great, the kitchen delays and lack of follow-through from management were very disappointing. I’ve had positive experiences at this restaurant in other locations, but this visit to the Bee Cave location fell short of expectations.
I 100% disappointed with my order I picked up today. I placed an order online that totaled almost $70. There was a box for details/request. In the box I requested silverware and extra tarter. (My husband doesn’t eat shrimp without tarter) Ordering and paying was very easy. The restaurant was pretty dead when I picked my order up at 3:30 pm. I received my order and proceeded to drive the hour drive home. Upon unpacking my order there was ONE package of silverware, I ordered 2 dinners. There wasn’t ANY tartar sauce so forget the “extra” I requested. There’s no comparison with store bought tarter. So, essentially I’ve paid $70 for a nice dinner at home that my husband isn’t going to eat. Just ridiculous! I even tipped so as to give them extra incentive to do their jobs and follow the directions that were entered in the box provided. So much for a nice dinner at home. Everyone is upset now!!!
I had a very disappointing experience at Saltgrass Bee Cave, which I feel compelled to share. I called ahead to place an order for my birthday dinner, planning to pick it up during my lunch break from work. I even allowed 40 minutes before arriving to ensure the food would be ready. Upon arrival, the bartender had me pay (I also tipped generously), only to come back moments later and inform me that the manager who took my order had forgotten to send the ticket to the kitchen. This was incredibly frustrating, as I work at a nearby hotel and had chosen Saltgrass for what I hoped would be a quick, enjoyable meal during my break. Instead, I ended up wasting my entire lunch waiting for food that wasn’t even prepared. By the time it was ready, I didn’t have time to eat it while it was warm, completely defeating the purpose of ordering ahead. The experience was further marred by poor communication. When the manager came to talk to me, I was on the phone with a colleague explaining the delay, yet he started talking without waiting for me to finish. I couldn’t even understand what he said, adding to the overall frustration. This was supposed to be my birthday dinner, and I expected better. As someone who works locally and often recommends restaurants to hotel guests, this experience was incredibly disappointing. I hope Saltgrass takes this feedback seriously and improves their service to avoid similar situations for other customers.
First time visiting this place, waited over 30 minutes to be seated, but while waiting 2 other families walked up and got seated before us. The service was not exactly top of the line, my server showed up to our table twice, once to take orders and the second time to bring me the bill, since someone else brought our drinks and food. I was seated next to some obnoxious people that ruined my lunch, but I guess that is not the restaurant's fault, but their service needs a lot of improvement and so do their salads.
First time in this restaurant and the whole experience was horrible but the worse was that the restaurant had cockroaches and the manager didn’t do anything.
It’s been a long time since I was this disappointed in a dining experience. I have to say the service was friendly but the food was far from it and a terrible value. In the picture is an $18+ burger, pathetically overdone and small, accompanied by some frozen refried fries. I ordered the burger all the way and it came plane and dry and then I got cold ketchup and mayo/mustard packets like I’m at McDonald’s, and that probably would have been more satisfying. Ordered a $12 queso and it was literally 14 chips and less than 1 cup of queso. It came on an 8” cast iron skillet with barely enough to cover the bottom. I thought it was a mistake, but it turns out the mistake was just my choice to eat here. I had some of my friends steak and sides - all generic and plain. At least the burger I could be disappointed in a $18 plate vs a $40. Im fairly confident I will never eat at a Saltgrass again.
Not the servers fault they were very understaffed and overwhelmed with too many guests to serve. Two servers to 35 persons seated at same time???
If I could give this restaurant a -1 I would. First the check in was great. Location is convenient and beautiful view. However the wait for our food was unacceptable. The appetizer was 11$ and we probably got 8 chips with our queso dip. My ribs were cooked too long and my plate came out last out of my family of 4. Guests that sat down after us ate before us. My sweet potato fries came out cold. My waiter Aubry never refilled our drinks. Had to ask for a kids menu when my son was 5 smh. Chicken was bland. Broccoli was also cold and not fully cooked. Just will never recommend or eat here ever again. Worst birthday dinner on Sept 25 ever!!
No one at the front desk, no one at the bar, the waitresses look at you and do nothing. A nice restaurant should have the respect to great customers. It's lacking here. Never did get seated. 🫤
I recently dined at Salt Grass Restaurant and had a terrible experience. During our meal, I spotted a gigantic roach on the dining floor, which I ended up killing right in front of other customers. To my dismay, the staff did nothing in response, not even offering a discount for the inconvenience. This incident left us all regretting our decision to eat there. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Super nasty.
Our family visited this restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner shortly after receiving the devastating news of our grandfather’s passing. We were hoping for a calm, comforting meal together. While the food itself—especially the steak—was well-prepared and enjoyable, our experience with the service was disappointing. When the manager, Josh, brought our drinks, his demeanor came across as noticeably rude during an already difficult time. More concerning, he made a comment to our 18-year-old daughter that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. Regardless of intent, the remark made our family uncomfortable and was not something we would expect from management in a family-friendly establishment. The quality of the meal was a positive highlight, but the service experience overshadowed it. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, as professionalism and sensitivity from staff make all the difference—especially for guests going through a hard moment.
I was not impressed with the menu, it's not unique and didn't taste good. I expected more from a higher end steakhouse. Food was cooked comparable to chilli's. The green bean side dish was deep fried and oily. One of the plates that had sweet potato fries was cold. The only thing I liked was the tortilla soup and the mushroom appetizers. Service was great, all the staff, and our server were friendly and attentive.
