I just found out about The Garden and immediately fell in love! Lots of cute little plants everywhere, a large back patio that turns into an even bigger sitting area with wooden benches, and swinging chairs in the trees! The Charcuterie board we had a was absolutely amazing with great flavor combinations and my crab cake was the highlight of my day. As I always do, I took a bite out of my boyfriend’s food and his pastrami panini is definitely something I want to come back and have for myself…definitely mouth watering. If you’re a cocktail person, I recommend The Persefone; it has tequila, grapefruit, simple syrup, lemon and Prosecco. So good that I wanted two of them but only needed one. This lunch experience was more than worth the drive out to the Bee Cave area and I wouldn’t mind doing it again.
Great spot, looked really crowded and there were no restaurant tables available but we were able to self seat at picnic tables in a grassy area. The waiter was also working the little bar and was very attentive. Amazing crab cakes- worth it just for those.
It was a bit strange getting used to the idea of two restaurants sharing the same space, one high end the other casual. But everything was fine once they assigned us to the correct table outside. They also had some cool chair swings that the kids really enjoyed.
The amount of energy the staff had was amazing! They hosted 27 of us with ease, professionalism and a smile every time. My group had a great time and loved everything! Thank you Elissa and teddy for your hard work! Will host another event here in the future.
The restaurant just opened and the menu is limited until after January 1st; however; we really loved the pizza, salad and panini sandwich! The service was outstanding and our waiter Reid was the best. Hate to post such a good review since it will drive too much business and make it difficult to get a table! It’s great to have a new fun place to frequent!
What an adorable new addition to the Bee Cave area! Went here for a lunch date during the day and sat outside on the patio with my fiancé and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was cold, but there were outdoor heaters to keep us warm. The staff was absolutely fantastic. Our server was so nice and offered us tastes of a white wine we weren’t sure about ordering. Went with the French champagne off the “by the glass menu”. Fair price for a full glass might I add! The charcuterie and cheese board was delicious! Comes with blue cheese which I’m not a fan of, but the rest of the cheeses were delicious. It also has some roasted nuts, olives 🫒, salami and prosciutto. I don’t eat pork, so my only ask or wish from The Garden would be to offer other meat options on the board beside pork. We also had crab cakes! Absolutely Devine starter!! next the pizza, had the one with broccoli 🥦— albeit, thought it would be weird to taste on pizza but it turned out amazing! Not so good to reheat 1 day later because of how thin it was, but still good to take home. If you’re starving, 1 order will you up, or snacking for 2 it’s perfect. Overall, can’t wait to go back in the evening with their swinging chairs and lit up backyard ambiance vibe.
First time here for lunch and it will not be the last! Everything was delicious! Three of us shared the mussels, gem lettuces, lobster roll and pizza diavola and we brought half of it home! The mussels were enough for six people! And soooo good, lobster was fresh and perfect. Excellent salad and pizza was crisp and very tasty. Service top notch and very friendly. Don't miss this one!
Our server was so sweet and accommodating to our table. I loved the fried Brussel sprouts and their version of mozzarella sticks. Plus the mussels are such a big portion that you can eat them as your entree (it’s what I did).
Super delicious pastrami sandwich and garden salad! Fun vibe, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. We sat outside to wait for our ride and after 5 minutes, one of the staff came out and brought us ice water! Such a sweetheart! Can’t wait to come back!
Great service and attention to detail. My wife and I stopped in on a Monday for a quick lunch and were both very impressed with the service and the ambience. I am actually "in the business" and it takes a lot to impress me. The general manager Adam Garcia stopped by several times to check on us. This is our new favorite place in Austin! Shanon Scott
Went the third night they opened and absolutely loved it. Frito misto was as good as at high end places on the Amalfi coast. Pastrami panini is absolutely to die for. Pizzas are nothing like want you can get elsewhere in Austin and next level. Wine and beer list also amazing. Tiramisu a refined and not too heavy version of a classic. Atmosphere great too. Prices are not low but accessible and not out of line for the quality of food and laundry list of ingredients imported from Italy and elsewhere. Doesn't hurt that we live nearby, but this place is more than worth a pleasant 20 min drive out Bee Cave Rd from downtown for the food. We'll be back to The Garden frequently with our family/kids who like the yard area. We can't wait for the big sister, more upscale Italian restaurant Ellera to open on the same site as we're certain it'll be the best in Austin.. Glad these folks took the initiative to open out in Bee Cave and during this trying time with Covid when many restaurants are closing. (Also on that front plenty of outdoor seating and even some heat lamps for those like us who are still being cautious to dine outside and at distance from others.)
What a beautiful atmosphere. The night was very temperate outside. There's just nothing like a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine with the true sounds of nature and the 71 buzzing behind your ears. If you are with the right type of people, then it definitely makes for a Truly unforgettable experience. Peter was awesome very attentive.Highly recommended!
It’s suuuuch a good place. I think it’s our new go-to for when people come visit. It’s dog friendly, they have chair swings outside and an extensive wine list! Plus we got to know the cocktail curator who leeeegggit reminds us of the How to Drink series. Place is dope. Foods amazing. Get the mozzarella starter EVERY. TIME. I should honestly write a review. I’ll just copy and paste this text 😅
Most excellent! The staff was lovely and the food was great. The lobster roll was in point and the pizza fantastic. Also had a special of crispy lasagna bites, which should be on the menu all the time. SO GOOD. I feel like this establishment will do very well here in this location. We will most certainly be going back.
We had a really good time here. We sat outdoors and the spacing was great. Outside it's called "The Garden at Ellera" which is a more casual, beer garden experience according to the website. We ordered the brussels sprouts which were amazing, although pricey. We ordered a couple of pizzas (cheese and Verdina) and a local beer and some wine. For dessert we ordered the tiramisu and the cheesecake. Both were delicious, although the tiramisu was a little watery at the bottom of the bowl. Overall a great place with some really nice food, but it can be on the more expensive end. Just know what you're getting into when you go. My daughter commented the cheese pizza was her favorite pizza ever.
I wanted to rate this place 4 stars instead of 5 just because how expensive the lobster roll at market price was, but it was fresh whole lobster probably the best one I've had in my life. The garden signature cocktail was good as well, my wife got a pizza and tiramisu which were great, I tipped about 25% and it was around 120$. Expensive yes but justified, yes. Excellent food.
I was welcomed to throw my sister her baby shower here and I could not have asked for it to have gone any better! I was offered to reserve an entire dining room area that was quite spacious and was quoted a rather heavy price so I only reserved a smaller section for what I needed. Then as I arrived the manager came in to greet me and ended up staying for over an hour to help me decorate, pick out wine, and set up the whole space. Then to my surprise since they weren’t too busy the manager closed off the whole set of TWO huge dining rooms and we had both huge dining rooms and the whole outside patio area to ourselves for the party which was way bigger than even needed for sure and at no extra cost they just gave it to us out of the fact that they COULD. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful from coming in to give a wonderful presentation and explanation of our whole tables spread to getting every request right on the dot such as placing the cake with its cake accessories precisely how I had quite complicatedly asked of them. On top of all this we ended up staying far past closing time and were welcomed to without any pressure on leaving. Ten out of ten would recommend 😁
Love the outdoor dining areas, and the service was friendly! The lobster roll was excellent as was the calamari and the drinks too! Highly recommend, will definitely be back for more!
Dine in outside in the shade. Picnic tables in the shade to enjoy all fresco dining. Worth the price. Nice happy hour. Recommend the happy hour and Antipasti menu, Frito Misto and marinated olives.
Lovely place for an outdoor dinner for a group. We loved the apps (mussels, brussel sprouts, charcuterie board) and shared pizzas. Great service and wonderful atmosphere.
Upscale Italian restaurant with a great ambiance both indoors and outdoors. We dined indoors but will dine outdoors when the temperature cools below 90F.

A serene place for a good date night! Food is impeccably presented!
Unbelievable experience. Bartender is very knowledgeable and made wonderful cocktails. Chelsea (our server) was one of the best we have ever had. The mussels, the potato croquettes, and thin crust sausage and salami pizza were amazing. One of the very best dining experiences we have had in months. Would highly recommend anyone come here and try it out or try it out again. There was not a wait at 8pm on Sunday... The quality, price and service... This place should be packed. Management should have this place packed.
We had a marvelous evening here. We were blown away by the ambiance, the service, and the quality of the food & drinks. The manager, Frank Rodriguez, spent time with us to explain the menu, understand our dietary restrictions, and helped us with our beverage choices. To say the food was fantastic is an understatement. And they have facilities for private parties and larger groups. I can't recommend The Garden at Ellera highly enough!!
Absolutely a great new addition to the Bee Cave area! The atmosphere is open, lively, and lots of fun; and makes it a great time for anyone of any age to enjoy. The food and drinks are beyond incredible and the servers here are very attentive and simply make every visit a joy! I have gained much respect for this new restaurant; and always recommended Ellera to all my friends, and anyone new in town looking for a wonderful dining experience! 10/10 recommend!! ** For the best drinks, I recommend checking out their bar and asking for Blake. He is one hell of a bartender and gives great cocktail suggestions. For dining on the other hand.. I highly suggest calling in advance and requesting Dashawn to be your server! He is seriously the best! Always prompt, hospitable, and ready to answer any and all questions you may have (especially if you’re looking for a great wine and food pairing).

To start with they do have an extremely limited selection of cocktails (4) but they were solid. Please add a French 75 and a FANCY Gin and Tonic that isn’t sweet but aromatic, something like a pear liqueur, housemade pear ginger syrup, bottle of Fever-Tree on the side and a fresh rosemary sprig in the glass. The beer and wine choices are excellent! Especially the fact that they have many wine selections by the glass!!! The crab cake is delicious!!! It comes with a guacamole schmear on the base of the plate along with a wonderful mint and cilantro citrus garnish on the top. DELIGHTFUL!!! I wasn’t too impressed with the pizza crust but the cheese and toppings were absolutely perfect in every way! A Roman crust is tricky because if you don’t have the correct flour and water it can render the pizza crust a little off, don’t get me wrong it’s good but not great. Their lobster roll was completely overpriced at close to $38 a roll??? I refused to order it... I do want them to succeed but come on! Really? Garbo’s is $18 a roll and $14 to add another? Even if you charge me $28 and $20 to add a second roll. THAT WOULD BE FAIR. I hate it when restaurants put MK/market price on the menu for no reason whatsoever except to hit you hard!!! I can understand a rotating fish special but a roll? Mussels? A fritto misto with just one seafood item (calamari) and veg? Please put 2 seafood items in the fritto misto and stick a price on them. The scallop roll at $25 was fairly priced and it was probably the most delicious scallop roll I’ve had in a longtime!!! The tiramisu is missing just a little coffee liqueur in the soak to bring it up to a 10 but still receives an 8 because it is a great example of a true tiramisu recipe without alcohol!!! Overall I think this restaurant has a lot of potential and if they can take these kind suggestions to heart they can have many happy customers and a thriving business!!! Good luck & congratulations on your new upcoming opening in Georgetown
Started at The Garden but wanted more food choices so ended up at Ellera. Great atmosphere and really liked the Italian themed food. Risotto was huge and very good, tenderloin was good, octopus was fresh, gnocchi was good although a bit small, and everything was a bit on the salty side. We enjoyed it and will return.
What brought us here is a picture of a scallop sandwich in search for a sea food. The market price of $36 for 3 scallops, however, turn us toward trying other appetizing menu items: POTATO CROQUETTES: fluffy inside and not over crunchy on the outside with bacon bits (be aware; we overlooked in the description) CRAB CAKES: interesting seasoning of the salad garnish, fresh peaches compliment in sweetness, cakes are filling (meaty) and seasoned well NOSTRANO: apparently, a new menu addition. Salty, fatty, and cheese on a very thin and tasty base Nevertheless of being non-beer drinkers, we choose Italian BALADIN NORA to compliment pizza, thanks to our waitresses feedback, and didn’t regret it. To polish up the dinner we pick a lemon bar and a single espresso. Is it unreasonable to expect coffee to show up together with a dessert? I am that weirdo that likes to flash a bite of wonderful sour-sweet-gooey goodness on a very well done (but a bit too thick) shortbread base with a nice hint of a salt grain here and there in a bite, of a lemon bar, after dilping it in a whipped and flash torched egg whites (what a nice and uncommon touch) cream, with a sip of hot, not lukewarm, coffee. But our feedbacks been immediately heard and addressed by Chelsey, who’s open and straightforward candid made up an extra star on The Gardens rating. An outside patio with hanging chairs seems to be nice to revisit during more user-friendly weather. Hopefully, the next time there will be more staff to keep that are tidy. Or is it an advertising? Attracts flys too, tho...
Very expensive but best Lobster sandwich I've ever had! The crunchy fried potatoes were good too! Will come back and recommend for sure. Great service! Very friendly and attentive!
Went to this restaurant in Beecave for birthday dinner. Good Italian food. There were not that many customers. Food was pretty good.
Love the pork belly salad & innovative pizzas. Would recommend they consider offering free home baked bread in the future to add to the welcoming, homely outside atmosphere.

Have eaten at the Garden a few times now and as nice as the venue is the choices for those that don’t want to eat carbs is not very large. I’m all for paying $12-18 for a salad but their salads are all lettuce and hardly any toppings. I would suggest enlarging your salad options for those of us wanting a salad and add more toppings to make it worth the money. I asked for the caprese sandwich to be made into a salad and the waitress told me the chefs don’t like to change their food. This does not make me want to go back unfortunately
So wanted to love this restaurant, but was disappointed in the quality of the food. The server was a true bright point as he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were also refreshing. The food was lacking, especially given the price point. A charcuterie board looked a bit sad with what appeared to be luncheon meat and very small portioning of cheese. The rigatoni was ok, but it lacked a lot of flavor and was reminiscent of something from the frozen meal section of a grocery store. On a Friday night, the place was basically empty, which is a bit sad. Nothing seems to last long in this location.
Wish we had gone here when it hadn't been raining. We were sat under the awning. Food was pretty good, but felt hit or miss. The pizza was okay - but we kept seeing people come do take away for it - maybe we just chose the wrong flavour? The apps were great. The sandwich was amazing. The salad was hard to eat.
This is a brand new place that open less than two weeks ago here in Bee Cave. We were extremely excited to try it since it was advertised in some local Instagram Foodie Page. Due to the hype, we had to wait over an hour for a table which was totally fine! We were then seated and our server was Deshaun! He was extremely friendly and attentive! We ordered a Caesar salad with chicken, 2 pizzas and a side of potatoes. The overall food was fine. The pizza was really good! So were the potatoes. The atmosphere is great as well and the view in the back of the garden. It is beautiful! Unfortunately I didn’t get the chicken I ordered with the salad, again Deshaun was extremely nice and apologetic about it. Although the manager did take the salad off the check, we received zero apologies or acknowledgement from the manager for the mishap. I also ordered a tiramisu that was extremely soupy and just not good. Overall, the place is okay. - they are just incredibly understaff and you can tell by the sloppiness in the kitchen.
> I visited about 2 weeks after they opened and it was during Covid > Not a great experience for my first visit to The Garden at Ellera. Our server was in-training and very nice. You could tell they still need to work out the kinks. No real host/ess, drinks took about 15 minutes, pizza didn’t come out as ordered, two orders of the same app came to our table minutes apart, tables around us had issues, and our server admitted they are understaffed. The croquettes were good along with the cesar salad. We ordered the margherita pizza with prosciutto. The pizza didn’t come with the meat and honestly didn’t resemble a margherita. It was more of a frozen cheese pizza. The outdoor ambiance is nice (could use some music). They comped the pizza without us asking, which was nice. Hopefully they can get staffed and work on the kitchen times.
Food is really good but service + logistics need work. Our table received a different order of food not once but two times. I also ordered a drink which was out of stock, which is fine, but my alternative drink came out after I had already finished my meal. I would suggest polishing the operations and service model in order to retain guests.
Look at your bill closely. The menu prices, even though they are already high, did not match what I was charged. I ordered a panini sandwich. The server asked if I wanted the crispy potatoes with it which had a small note on the menu that there would be a $2 upcharge, which I was fine with, but when the bill came I was charged for the $8 appetizer. I brought it to the servers attention and it was corrected but I could have easily overlooked it if I weren’t paying attention. I ordered a coke, which was $4 and asked for a refill. I was brought out a can and charged another $4. $8 for two sodas is insane. The kids menu is outrageously expensive. $8 for 3 chicken strips and $6 for a small cup of fruit. I was shocked that our 3 drinks, simple sandwich, kids meal, and to go sandwich rang out to $60. I don’t mind paying for a good meal, but this was not it. I unfortunately will not be back.

Such a beautiful restaurant … absolutely lovely and inviting. We have visited twice and the service was quite good. We all agreed, it would be such a shame to see this place fail to thrive. I strongly encourage the management to seek a lot of feedback about the menu, recipes, quality of food prep, and prices. Sadly, the food we ordered was just not that good and definitely did not justify the high-end prices. (Fried chicken, two types of pizza, sandwich, salads. Note: we have not tried the Italian entree s). We are only leaving this review to suggest that you re-think the menu and work on the recipes. A gorgeous addition to Bee Cave … we’d love to be your regular customers when food quality and prices are improved. No one wants to be price gouged for really mediocre food, particularly in Austin, when there are so many amazing places to eat. Thank you for considering these suggestions. .

This is our third and last time. Took 30min for us to receive our drinks and that was after 15min of waiting to order them. Food is way over priced for quality and quantity. We really wanted to like this place having lived in Boston for 12 years but I'm not sure why this restaurant is still open.
Appetizers we're great. We had a cheese plate, brussel sprouts, and the fritto misto. Service started off fine and not too busy. Unfortunately, the experience went down from there. The kitchen overcooked the seafood- lobster and scallops. They were tough and chewy. It took long enough for the waiter to check on us that it was too late to send them back. Then, it took WAY too long to get the check, so much so we had to flag someone down to get our server. We just got ignored at the end. That shouldn't happen when you're spending a little, much less over $400. They're way overpriced for what you get and the service we had. It would be one thing if the restaurant was packed, but it was early dinnertime on a Tuesday. Maybe I would recommend going for happy hour and a snack because they seem to be able to handle that much. Otherwise, go to Mandola's for better and cheaper Italian instead.
Only great thing about this restaurant is the ambiance. Food is very mediocre (pasta isn’t worth it, pizza is more reasonably priced at happy hour prices). The lobster and scallop rolls here are good but they jacked up the price by 33% since the last time we visited. Maybe there’s a labor shortage for this restaurant as well because we waited 30 minutes for someone to come by and take our order.
Meh...waste of $100 dollars. Eggplant parm bites and drink were good and so was service and atmosphere. However, the THREE scallops I ordered for $40 were so strong they hit me before the plate was in front of me. The mushrooms were ok, but not worth what I was charged. I don't mind a high price, but the quality better be high too. Don't sit next to the patio door...hot and flies were on my food. So meh....
Recently planned my special birthday dinner celebration with a small group of friends there. The host and waitress were well informed it was my birthday, however I was not offered any complimentary dessert or even a mention about it. The cocktails were served in tiny glasses, 3/4 full (on top of that, waitress accidentally spilled some of mine and just said “sorry”). No bread/butter to start off with. Several of us ordered pasta, which was very good, however bit cold and no Parmesan cheese offered to add. Overall very expensive for what is offered and disappointing place. We will continue venturing out to other places.
I really wanted to like this place. Atmosphere is great. Outside patio is awesome. We arrived at 7:45 and didn’t get our entrees until 9:10Pm. Idk if our order was forgotten but when it arrived we had a delicious bolegnese and then one of the worst pasta dishes I’ve ever had with clams. It tasted watered down we only could take two bites. Lacey our server comped us on the dish but still was a terrible experience would not recommend

Idk if our order was forgotten but when it arrived we had a delicious bolegnese and then one of the worst pasta dishes I’ve ever had with clams. It tasted watered down we only could take two bites. Lacey our server comped us on the dish but still was a terrible experience would not recommend
The restaurant refused to allow guests to pay individually as they left a big group celebrating my friend’s birthday; some left money or agreements w others to “pay them back” but at the end I was left w the bill. This felt very early 2000’s when computer programs made it hard to split checks… but being 2022, I have not had this issue in years! I am disappointed in the fact that they turned our celebration into this chaos of who is going to cover the “check” In addition, after reviewing my emailed bill, I feel like they double charged us for several items. We will not be returning.
Very expensive for what you get. We were two diners. Ordered shared an order of the mushroom panino $13. Arrived on a black stone "dish" with not a pickle slice, a potato chip or even a sprig of parsley. So greasy, the bread was saturated with oil and so were our fingers. I asked about the lobster por'boy. It was marked MV on the menu. The price..$39! That is not a typo. $39!!!! We will not be returning. Very disappointed. The waitress was very nice and sociable.
Unfortunate... Lovely atmosphere, but sub-par food. The "hand pulled" mozzarella was ok, came out as 4 small triangles ergo it was cold by the time we got it... There was a tiny dollop of marinara, not even enough for one of the triangles. The excessively recommend lobster roll "lobster flown in from Maine daily" sounded great - it was not. Lobster was overcooked (rubbery) and had a mild dirt taste. Presentation was lovely but I've had a better lobster roll in Palm Springs out of a food truck... The bread was also touted as amazing and it was just an average French roll sliced in half... The icing on the cake was that the lobster roll that was smaller than a hot dog was $40!!!! We did have a lovely bottle of wine called fortress, it was one of the lower priced ones I could find and it was 54 on the menu which somehow turned out to 69 after tax... The person I was there with did decide to complain about the lobster roll which I felt appropriate however she had consumed 100% of her half of the lobster roll.. so I understand them not taking it off the bill however it was still disappointing they didn't. I probably would have tried the restaurant again have they taken that off the bill and obviously not reordered the lobster roll... They did offer us a free dessert... Lastly, I and bought the wine and split a lobster roll and the hand pulled mozzarella with a friend and I paid over $115. Very dissatisfied. Sorry. 😟
