My boys and I went to this Whataburger prior to attending an Austin FC Game (tied 3-3 against San Jose Earthquakes). We pulled up craving some good service and food. There was this kind young lady taking all of our orders with a smile and emitting positive vibes. All of our orders were correct and we happily enjoyed our meals as we talked about the great employee that had just taken our orders. All of these negative comments about spending a bunch of time in drive through…they are short staffed and we were informed about it and our food still came out within minutes, as for drive through, sometimes coms go bad, just ask Marcus Luttrel. And if you’re in drive through for 30 mins and you’re too lazy to grow a pair and just get off your lazy buns and go inside then maybe you don’t deserve your food at all. Anyone who has a problem with this place can come talk to me and my boys and we’ll settle it like men. Let God arise and his enemies be scattered.

Where has this been all my life? This tastes like I remember local joints tasting when I was a kid in the 80s. Solid burgers, fresh toppings, the honey butter chicken biscuit is so good, and plenty of extras to add on. They have a fish sandwich which is very good and the fish is bigger than McDonald’s fish sandwich. Just go and try it.

Mike was a visiting manager covering from another location (Dripping Springs) but he was doing an amazing job. Very friendly and he treated his employs well. I sat an ate my late night meal while traveling for work and I observed him engaging with his employees, introducing himself and they all were very responsive to him. Marco was the employee who rang me up and he was very friendly and he was from NY. Aiden brought my food out and he was awesome as well. Very friendly staff, clean location and I mean clean! The service was good, the food was correct, Fresh, & Hot, there was always somebody walking around cleaning tables as they became available, and all the condiments/cutlery, tea, straws and lids were will stocked. Our order was received promptly considering they cook it fresh, unlike most other fast food chains.

90 percent of the time it's great. I find that today the way things go that none of the other places are even 50%. It's just a slap that thing together and send it out to you half the time to make those pickles. Lettuce is more on the wrapper than there is on the bun and that's when they're not even busy. Whataburger is still the best.

I almost always come during late hours. Anywhere between 8pm-4am. Order always made right and always fresh, especially the late hours! I believe they make/fry to order in the late hours because my fries are the most fresh then! Very reliable midnight food run 😋

I drove thru Whataburger and Whataburger had one of the most uplifting person bringing out orders I had seen in a long time. This was at lunch time and look like it was going to rain. I'm not a fan of Whataburger, but I do like their chicken. They were running a buy one get one free special on their fajita chicken burritos. So I gave them a try. I thought these were going to be small, but nope, they were stuffed! They were delicious too!

This may be the best Whataburger location I have ever been to. I work close to this location so I come here often. The staff are friendly every single time I visit and highly accommodating. There was one time where my brother put in an order for drinks on the app, and I ended up arriving an hour late for pickup, long after the scheduled pickup time for the order. I asked for the order when I arrived but at first they couldn’t find it in their system since it had been so long. The order had disappeared from his app and we were afraid there would be no refund. However after speaking to the kind manager, we found out that they had disposed of the drinks as they had spoiled after sitting outside for so long - but offered to remake them fresh for us. I was so thankful since it was really my fault for arriving so late. The staff all were kind and helpful and lovely. It feels that they take pride in their service, and they really care about delivering a superb customer experience, and I love that.

It really does make you say "What a burger!" This is my first time traveling to the south so I knew I had to try this place. I enjoyed the Whatacatch and a vanilla shake. The fish sandwich was probably the best I've ever had. The fish was moist and flavorful, with a crunchy, robust breading. Great french fries too!

Food was on point as always. We spent the entire day traveling Hill Country. We ended up swimming, and after a long day, we topped it off with good ol Whataburger. It never fails. Customer service could've been a little bit more friendly, but overall, it was okay.

We did drive through. Friendly staff. This is just a tough location to get in and out of on rte 620. I'm resigned to the fact that although I can still eat a double burger, I should just get one patty. Old and feeling it😛

What happened? Used to be a good/great location. Night shift seems especially in need of help; 20 min wait (not horrible given the time), but burnt fries, luke cold burger, and w/ something asked not to be included. Day time is better but noticeably not as good as it was 6 months or so ago.

Not the same since new management. Owner does not appreciate to go orders. Spent $50 for lunches and he gave me attitude and made a face when I asked for a some ketchup and one side of jalapeño ranch. He had no problem offering condiments to the eat in customers though. Lost my business.

As Whataburger locations go, this location is on par with others I've visited throughout Texas. Nothing special...I have a few issues with customer service...they're not exactly believable when they tell you to "have a nice day." I would rather the girl thank the customer and omit the "nice day" comment; it doesn't exactly leave you want to visit again and again. I'm sure other employees are doing their job just fine, but I believe the manager really needs to remind his staff about good customer service at all times. Food's great, though. "Tastes like a Whataburger!"

8/7/22, 4am. I have never been to a slower fast food joint. Literally spent almost an hour in the drive-through line. The reason? Apparently, Because they have literally one guy working the line and making the food. Not his fault. Need more staff. He was courteous, at least. Just very slow. Be aware.

Fries were served hot, they did forget my spicy ketchup but that was no big deal. Just make sure to check your bag. My food was super cold which sucked because it was an Avocado Bacon Burger. I'm thinking maybe they were out of fries and were waiting on more. Overall, an OK experience. Staff prepares orders a bit slowly though.

I ordered a taquito with potato, cheese and bacon. There was 1/2 square of cheese, a tiny slice of bacon and 2 hash browns. Apparently if you don't get eggs, you don't get much of a taquito. BUT, it's still the same price! Soo disappointing. The manager was just standing around and joking with the staff and not paying attention to the customers. She's never been any help! Photo 1, bacon, cheese, potato. Photo 2, bacon, egg and cheese with hot sauce. Even without the sauce, the 2nd taquito was twice as big.

We went thru the drive thru and the lady taking our order didn't have a clue. We repeated the order 3 or 4 times and she couldn't get it right. So, when we got our order we knew it would be wrong and it sure was. We wanted 2 just a burgers and we got 2 Jr. Cheeseburgers. We order one order of fries and one order of onion rings and we got 2 orders of fries. Very disappointed!

**Update…Whataburger, with burger in their name, actually ran out of burger Pattie’s on Labor Day and I had to order a jr burger and got a jr drink. You can’t make this stuff up. It’d been a while. Guess it’ll be a while longer. Kudos though, Chik-fil-et was closed, so was Canes and Sonic was packed. So they were at least open. I hadn’t been in 4-5 months because they started to get my order wrong consistently. Tonight, no different. Food tastes good, but the manager I spoke to after getting home said it’s why he was transferred there because it’s a tough market and most people are new. Well, that didn’t solve the problem. Unfortunately, I’ll have to continue to go to Hat Creek and P Terry’s because they consistently get orders right. I was in the business for 20+ years owning and managing restaurants. I do give compliments when they do well, ownership needs to fix this. The two stars is because it tasted well except that left over odor and taste from the onions they use which are strong.

Fascinating thing about this Whataburger in particular is how slow the drive-thru is no matter how many people are in line. Now in this whataburgers defense just about all whataburgers are terrible at speed of service, but this one should get an award for it. Avoid this place like the plague and if you are hungry for a burger go to P Terry's. If you want chicken obviously Chick-fil-A is a much better option.

Been to this location a couple times and they're normally fine. But today, it was 1-star worthy. There were about 8 cars in the line so I decide to go in. Walk right up to the counter and order but I realize there were maybe 5 ppl waiting ahead of me. After waiting 25 minutes I get my food. Meat's cold, cheese is cold and unmelted, and the fries were bathed in salt so I tossed most of 'em. This was also the case last week when I went, except the fries were good. I don't know what's up with this place lately but they need to get it together. With waiting that long my food should've been fresh and hot. At least nuke the damn meat so I can't tell.

Although it is a Whataburger, recent experiences at this location leave much to be desired with the evening crew here. A couple of friends and I were dining in and had placed our order while the restaurant was practically empty (a simple order, just a large fry and some drinks). However, about 10 minutes after we sat down to wait for our food, multiple large parties showed up, ordered and then sat down. Within 10 minutes or so from this point, these other parties all received their food (many large orders), while we were still left waiting (after over 20 minutes by this point). After inquiring about our order, we determined that the staff had simply removed our order from the queue as to not be penalized for a lengthy wait time (fries were being made when we first put the order in). However, due to this, our order was simply forgotten and would not have been delivered if we had not asked. I can certainly understand that situations like this may occur on occasion, but the thing which stuck out to me the most was the fact that the staff were also mostly unapologetic throughout this situation. I hope that this is not a reflection of this location during other shifts, but just beware that if your food seems to be taking a while, you may want to check to be sure that it is actually being made.

My first time eating here my food was cold to the point that my cheese was not even the least bit melted. I was in a rush so just ate my food. Today I had the same issue food was cold cheese was not the least bit melted. When I went to ask for the sandwich to be remade they asked me. "do you just want us to melt the cheese or you want it fresh?" as if I'd eat something that had been there who knows how long to be that cold. the only redeeming quality was a very kind blonde haired Hispanic woman who was very apologetic about the issue and assured me it would be taken care of. If I'm not mistaken the role she fulfilled is that of the managers. So where was the manager that allowed this to happen? In the kitchen "overseeing" things. Completely unacceptable I have no intention of returning to this location

I wish I'd read the most recent reviews of this restaurant prior to making the decision to order here but unfortunately in this area this seemed to be one of the only restaurants still open late. I swung by around 11:30pm on a Thursday night and holy snap was I disappointed. I ordered a #1 no cheese and a spicy chicken sandwich. Large. A coke. My #1 came with cheese and the entire order was cold. Tragic experience. I give it a 2 star because when I asked for a handful of spicy ketchup, the guy taking my order literally gave me 2 handfuls instead of one. That was pretty nice of him.

This place is slow. Burgers are hit and miss. Whataburger is the most inconsistent fast food place around. Will my order be right? Will it be hot? Don’t know. Staff is not customer focused. If you ask for a cup of water, they charge you for the cup. I hate to leave a bad review for a fast food place. But this place deserves two stars.

The food is great! That being said, the service is terrible. The to go drive line is terrible! The order is always wrong, things are left off the order and just put together wrong. This restaurant could be a great place if the servers were interested in what they are doing, both on to go orders made in the restaurant and online orders. The orders are taken correctly, but what is put in the to go bags is wrong, leaving things out and not putting what was ordered in the bag. You don’t find out how your order is wrong until you get home. So, after waiting in line for what seems forever, you don’t get all you ordered.

Extremely slow drive thru. $5 medium milkshake was not mixed well and melted. Took 22 minutes and the three vehicles in front of me had to wait in parking spots as their orders were unable to be fulfilled. Seems like teens are in charge and easily overwhelmed.

It took over ten minutes to get my order and when I finally got it it was incorrect. I did not get an apology of any sort and have been waiting at least 5 minutes for a remake. They do not seem to have table tents in this location so when an order comes out the employees wander around aimlessly asking if this is your order. I have never seen such a poorly run Whataburger. So 19 minutes total to get the correct order which was packaged to go even though I'm dining in and these fries are the saltiest fries I've ever had. I will definitely avoid this location in the future.

Just had the worst Whataburger with cheese I've ever eaten. I started eating this burger less than 5 minutes after they handed it to me in the drive thru. Meat was cold, cheese wasn't even melted, bun wasn't toasted - it was soggy instead. White lettuce and unripe tomato. I should've driven back and demanded a refund but I didn't have time. I honestly hope I don't get food poisoning. Last time I'll eat at this place for sure.

I used to love coming to this location. Food was on point almost every time. Now every time I go, no matter when its cold (burger and fries), buns not toasted properly, don't put enough sauce on there sandwiches. Wataburger's new owners need to come and make changes.

Every time I come here they mess up the order and I have to drive back to get it fixed. Which would be one thing but then on top of the incorrect orders, the management is very strange and rude. The manager, or whoever the employee with the gold teeth is, is always rude and condescending about the ordeal. He asks what I want after I had already handed the receipt to him and say I need these items listed here to be remade because they're wrong. I give him the bag with the wrong items in it in case they need "proof" and he condescendingly asks what I want again, and I have to repeat myself 3 times that I want the items on the receipt cause they write/take the order correctly but then make it wrong. He then proceeded to wave empty cups in my face without saying anything (so strange, never had that happen before). I was confused and I told him that it was just the food that was incorrect (as I made my own fountain drinks). They forget items every single time and then the manager, or whoever this man is who acts like the manager, is very condensing and off putting about correcting your order

This is the worst whataburger I’ve ever gone to. The food is always bad. The fries are always old. The soda is always flat. 9 times out of 10 something is old or wrong. Unfortunately it’s the only whataburger near by. Lived in the area for years and it’s always been the same issues with this place. Highly recommend choosing somewhere else for a burger. Or drive out of Lakeway for a decent whataburger.

I’m going to start off by saying whataburger is one of my favorite fast food places. With that being said my experience today was horrific! “Team leader” Jack was rude and disrespectful to us rolling his eyes when we asked for straws. We ordered 2 chocolate shakes that were less than half full and our fries were cold and also less than half a normal size. Jack also had closed the inside of the restaurant for no reason other than his own laziness.

Their food has suffered over the years. Don't go there much these days. But I went out of my way for lunch today. It was by far the worst hamburger I've ever had at this location. Got a stone cold burger, meat and all. It was lunch time for crying or loud. I can understand extra wait time for being understaffed. But you cannot miss the mark on your primary product! It's gotta be hot! I'm so disappointed.

This place is wrong with an order 75% of the time. Tonight I was accused of stealing a honey. Utter chicken biscuit by the night manager I’m assuming. I went through the drive through, once getting my online order I looked through it after pulling up from the window, noticed it was missing the spicy honey butter. I parked and politely told the nice employee at the door I was missing a spicy honey butter. After. A few seconds this guy comes back, docent man and he hands it to me I say thanks man and he responds “it was in the bag, I saw it, but it’s cool”. I got very upset and immediately started ripping the bag open in my hands saying look in the bag, look in my truck, if you’re going to accuse me of stealing a biscuit. This was the most insane thing I’ve every witnessed. This Whataburger is a joke. That manager is a joke. Stay away.

Any time I order delivery they always mess my order up and put cheese on my burger, which I’m allergic to. Had it happen twice in a row today after getting a refund for the botched order, not the first night I’ve had to do this.

I try to not give bad reviews because no one is perfect but this location has gone downhill recently, orders are wrong, curbside takes more than 20 minutes, patty melt bread is never toasted, modifications ordered are never done. Honestly the only face I recognize there is Sandy, she's always very pleasant to deal with and has awesome customer service, she definitely needs a raise or a bump up in position. Sandy has made all these mishaps better.

Terrible service. 5 people working inside. The person taking orders was only focused on the drive thru. We stood there for 5 minutes, and the other employees just ignored us. We left and may never return. Whataburger- we expect better.

Just went through the drive through for a grilled chicken sandwich. 15 minutes later and 5 cars behind me I get the sandwich, no sorry for taking so long, zero explanation. The chicken was tough, undercooked and so much sauce on it that the bread was soggy. $5.62 for garbage. Never had trouble with this store before. I want my money back!

This particular whataburger is by far the worst I have ever had from any other whataburger. The quality of the food was absolutely disappointing. The burgers are dry and the chicken strips were all breading. My dog wouldn't even eat it.

I was in the drive thru for 40 mins no one had moved I was 10 cars back and we finally left! I called the restaurant while in line and the kid hung up on me! What happened to our amazing Lakeway location????? The night people have no supervision and don’t want to work!

This is the worst Whataburger location I've ever been to. This is the only Whataburger where they will only give you one ketchup packet per order of fries, and "It's been like that for 6 years here". Also the fries were over cooked but that's fine. If we were scoring based on their ability to not have a return customer, they would be 5 stars

What happened to this Whataburger? It used to have the friendliest staff. Tonight, after the ACL festival, they decided to close the indoor area and only accept drive through orders. This is understandable to avoid a circus in the dine in area, but before knowing this, I had already placed a curbside order on my way back home from the festival. When I arrived, I sat there in my car for 20 min waiting for someone to come out, and finally decided to go in through the barricaded doors to ask about my order. My order was ready and easy to deliver, yet the staff chose to literally throw my burger in a bag, scold me for not going through the drive through, and after asking for some ketchup, threw one in there (again, literally threw). If pickup and curbside orders are to be suspended, there must be clear communication through the app. Otherwise, people will use that system. And when they do, they shouldn’t be treated as rudely as I was tonight.

Lobby was closed. We waited 15 minutes in line to order. 2 cars in front of us. Finally got our food. It should have been piping hot, but the fries were cold & the only heat from my chicken sandwich was the spice. VERY disappointed.

was the only one in line at first. waited about 10 minutes to order and 20 to get my food. got charged for something i didn’t order and was given the wrong drink. food was cold and found hairs in my burger. usually a mediocre stop at best but this was terrible

Unfortunately the worst experience with a Whataburger in the decades that I've enjoyed their burgers all across Texas. Update: Since this is the only Whataburger near my home I've been back recently and the service was just as bad. At least five people walked past me without even acknowledging me while I stood at the counter and one of them was a manager.

Carlos has the worst customer service. When I told him they ruined my drive through order, he just hung up on me 4 times. He finally answered and told me to call back tomorrow and talk to morning management. Four points Whataburger is always my 1st choice because Lakeway Whataburger cannot get their stuff together.

I swear. We are Whataburger fans. Not of this location.....they always screw up our orders. I've only tried them 3 times since we lived here in two years and they always disappoint!!!! Never again

Horrible what’s going on this this location. Location is supposed to be upscale and elegant, and this was a bad experience for me. Firstly, they forgot my french fries. Secondly, I ordered three orders of two pieces of bacon, and when I opened my lunch package, there were only 2 1/2 pieces. So they basically cheated me. Obviously, the “expediter” does not check orders against the money paid on the receipt, and the manager is not anywhere to be seen. Thirdly, and worst of all, there were several crew members that were speaking way too loudly, almost yelling at each other conversing like it was a ball game, like it was Oakland. Horrible, and such a shame. Looks like no one cares about the atmosphere of providing a decent, quiet atmosphere, when people take their needed break for a peaceful and complete lunch. Management and staff changes are needed in this location for sure, it has downgraded so much in the last four years!

This is by far the worst location I have ever been to. Twice this week I've waited 15 minutes for an order that was already sitting there under the counter. The sauces are missing every other order. There's zero leadership, zero accountability, and zero sense of urgency here. At this point I just have to give up

Was really looking forward to my meal. Got home to eat Fries that were cold and saugy, same for the onion rings. You would think I drove an hour to get home, im about 7 min away. My burger had a reused old cooking oil taste. Did I get a old canceled order??? Wth! I can still smell it. So disappointed with this "Lakeway" Whataburger! Couldn't finish my meal. Now I'm hangry.

Placed a mobile order, but there was no option for drive-thru pick-up so I placed it for curbside. Once I arrived, I submitted the number for my curbside pickup lane, mind you I was already 5-10 minutes after the ready time provided by the app. After submitting that I had arrived, I was left waiting 10 more minutes. There were very few cars (probably just the employee cars) and only two cars had gone through the drive-thru while I was there waiting, so I decided to go through the drive-thru to check on my order. At the DT speaker, they informed me that they do not do pick-ups through the drive-thru. After informing her of my wait at their curbside lane, she stated that they were waiting on fries (it doesn't take longer than 3 minutes to cook fries), and she had me pull forward. After receiving my food and driving off from the window, I started to eat the fries and noticed they weren't fresh at all, on the contrary, they were cold. I consider myself a patient and understanding individual, so if my wait time had been due to them wanting to deliver fresh food there would've been no issue. They instead chose to lie to me given that my fries weren't warm at all as they should have been if that was the reason for my wait. It had been the worst customer service experience I've ever received at a Whataburger. I hope upper management will address the issue and ensure that employees deliver a better customer service experience, especially since this is the only Whataburger in town and the next one is about 15 or 20 minutes away.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Whataburger. The lady at the window wouldn’t let me even get the first part of my combo order out without rudely asking what else I needed. So I started giving her the second meal info and she rudely said “What drink with that!?” So I told her. Then had to repeat again the second order. Got to the window and she was chewing gum loudly with her mouth ice open. Made me reach up into her window (which is an awkwardly high window) to hand her my money. When she handed me my drinks she held them sideways as if waiting on them to spill out on me. Once I grabbed one and turned it back upright, she said “I have no idea what drink that is,, y’all will have to try them .” To which I replied, “I am not feeling well, I don’t want my daughter to drink after me”. She said, “well have her try it first”. Uh. Nobody likes drinking after each other. Marking them takes one second. With that, she handed me my food and bid me farewell very nastily. I opened my bags to go through my food because they had the lobby closed, and she opened the window and said, “Do you have COVID?” Really!? What kind of person asks that? This person should absolutely not be working in the public. Ever. This is such a nice area and I am floored at how horrible the service was.

Manager of the facility had very bad attitude , it was 4AM! Grumpy/rude so early in the morning. Had not started brewing the coffee when i got my brkfst, was NOT OFFERED A REFUND for the coffee, slammed the window in my face- cause i explained (in a nice way) that they need to start brewing BEFORE they make the food. I made a mistake going to that drive-thru -- terrible attitude!

Jessica the night manager was very rude to me after poor service. Step one she had an attitude on the microphone before I even got to the window and my first thought was to pull off…should’ve went with my first mind. Waste of time and waste of gas I won’t be back…Who has time for Jessica?? Certainly not me….My money spends everywhere equally.

I placed and online order on 7/26/22 at 0057 which was to be ready between 0103-0106. I arrived at the drive through at 0102am. I sat at the speaker for 15 minutes to tell them that I was there to pick up my order. Nobody ever acknowledged or spoke to me. I decided to pull forward and tell them at the window. I continued to wait in line for yet another 15 minutes before even arriving at the window. I have now been sitting at the drive through for 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the window, I was informed that they had not began breakfast yet and the honey butter chicken biscuit would take about 30 minutes to make. Again, I have already been in line for 30 minutes and placed the order online. This should have been made already. As I did not want to wait a whole hour in the drive through line, I requested that the biscuit be refunded in which the manager on duty did make a cash refund for that sole item. In assuming that the rest of my order would be complete and ready for pickup, I waited for the rest of the order. I sat at the window for another 10 minutes as they had not even started my order. I sat in the drive through line for almost 45 minutes for an order that was placed online an hour before actually getting it. And I didn't even get my whole order. Breakfast supposedly starts at 11pm as stated on the website...yet 2 hours later, I'm being informed that breakfast hasn't been started. I am a nurse that just wanted food on their lunch break. I was 40 minutes late getting back to work due to the complete lack of care and total incompetence of the staff working tonight. Whoever is in charge should be completely ashamed. This is not acceptable! Nobody called. I could not go into the store to get the order. I even attempted to call the store but nobody answered. I have NEVER written a bad review in my life. But this...this is just unforgiveable.

We ordered 2 combos at the drive thru and instead we left with one combo and an additional large fry/ large drink. The chick handing out orders was rude AND SHE KEPT MY CHANGE. We decided to drive to the Whataburger on 620 past 2222 rather than drive thru that bs again. The one burger we did get was cold and soggy while the fries were cold and hard. Waste of time, money and gas. The service at this location was trash.

I absolutely love whataburger. Unfortunately this locations night shift staff is terrible! No customer service, and extremely rude. I went this evening at 11:30p and attempted to order breakfast and was told by the woman on the intercom that “we don’t have breakfast” “we make breakfast whenever we want and don’t have a set time” I advised this young woman that their website and menu sign state breakfast is served 11pm to 11am. She then proceeds to justify this by stating that they are short staffed.. After arriving at the window and talking to the manager, he let me know that they did have breakfast available.. ridiculous.. the young woman at the drive through who wears large silver charm bracelets that smack around the drive through window (How is this even sanitary!?) was extremely rude to me this evening as she always is she consistently gives attitude and looks like she hates her job! Every time I’ve gone she is so rude! I won’t be returning to this location. This staff needs to be retrained on how to de escalate and give proper customer service!

My husband and I ordered on the mobile app and had to wait 20 minutes past the stated time. We went through the drive through and had to pull over into another lane and waited an extra 10 minutes. No only did they put two bottom buns on one of the burgers, they didn’t give us our shakes, and messed up the ingredients on the burger. We went in today and they only gave us one sandwich instead of two and no straws. The wrapping on the sandwich was not put on properly either. Expect to wait in long lines for 20-30 minutes. Do better.

We tried it, but this experience has made us never want to go to another one. Big Guy taking orders and running the drive thru orders didn’t notice we were waiting for 10 minutes. (When we came in we noticed workers were in the dining room on break.) When we ordered hubby asked about a milkshake, and the Big Guy lied to us and said that the milkshake machine was broken. Big Guy didn’t give us our number or a receipt, no greeting, etc. Come to find out later that a lady before us had a milkshake and a customer after us ordered one, and somehow the machine was working. Hubby had to stand in line and wait 10 minutes to request ketchup, because we didn’t see any out in the dining room. Blond Kid who gave him his ketchup was helpful, and was working very hard. Food was ok, order was correct. Every single table in the dining room was dirty. We picked a mostly clean one, but I noticed if the employees didn’t have to take orders, they were just standing around. Blond Kid who gave us the ketchup was on break - eating food from home- told us to have a great day when we left.

horribly inconsistent. just asked for a sweet and spicy no mustard. the mustard usually comes on the bottom bun, they mixed it in with the sweet and spicy sauce so it can't be scraped off without ruining the burger. I've literally never seen this before in the 50+ times ive ordered this. such a simple order and it's wrong 4/5 times. won't be back.

Forgot my order but pretended they hadn't instead of admitting their error. This place hasn't been the same since management changed. Continued to wait, but ended up waiting so long (20+ minutes) that I had to leave for work without getting a refund. Money for nothing. Avoid at all costs.

The food was fine but the person bringing out the food was very rude to an elderly couple who had questions about a coupon He then went into kitchen area and retold the story at the top of his lungs so all of restaurant heard - acting very cocky about what he had told “those people” - he sought to embarrass the old couple and put them down! For what? They are the customers!! He should be fired. It was disgraceful.

After waiting several minutes and walked pass like I’m invisible, someone talks my order. As I’m waiting for this long period of time for breakfast food in the breakfast hours crew members and management unprofessional conversation about who got pulled over and who accident etc while my order hasn’t even been started yet. The waiting continues the laughing and conversation continues “mind you i am the only person at the counter.” Then I look up from making a view from the receipt and everyone disappeared. Just the drive and cook were visible. Finally I was tired of waiting and asked for a refund. This not the 1st time… but the disrespect and unprofessional behavior right in my face was SHOCKING! Won’t visit this location again for SURE!!!!!

slowest drive thru ever. yeah it's 3am but me and one other car, took over 30 minutes to get food and the staff seems incredibly unfocused. Whataburger in general just seems like a major hit or miss depending on the shift and location. at this point it's probably just better hunting down an open McDonald's than getting Whataburger at night edit, 40 minute wait for cold food. be so for real right now. nov1 4am

This review is for whoever has always been too lazy to put onions on patty melts at night. Whataburger has the worst value of any fast food chain at this point. There's also nothing more infuriating than being charged extra for a side of sauce, asking if it was put in the bag, and then getting home to discover you were lied to, and your onion-less patty melt with one slice of cheese on it for $14.17 is just an infuriating waste of time and money. Employees were also cussing loudly at one another when I was at the window over something that had gone wrong. This store fluctuates between needing to be shut down and being an average whataburger depending on who is in overnight. I wouldnt be writing this review if it wasnt an ongoing issue over a long period of time. Someone back there at night has an onion/work phobia.. I called for a refund and Sonya lied to me about processing it, told me it would appear within a week or so but it never did. I had to go through my bank, again.

I'm here from San Antonio and worst Whataburger I ever experienced. There was a hair in the burger, no sauce that I requested and no grilled jalapeños. Fries and onion rings and burger not fresh. We trashed it, didn't want to get sick. The SA whataburgers are not like this. Skip this place!
