Great food, service, easy parking the day we stopped in. Nice selection in a cozy, quaint, traditional cafe style atmosphere Nova lox bagel Strawberry French toast Lavender latte Veg omelet All were great!
I ordered the chicken and pancakes. When I say they were so delicious! 🤤 Oh, If I ever come back to Texas I will definitely stop by again! Service was fairly quick and the people were friendly.
Great place that I will visit again! Best chicken and waffles I’ve had in a while. You can tell the place is well managed.
I absolutely love Dandelion Café in Bellaire! Every time I go, it just feels like a cozy little neighborhood spot where everyone’s friendly and the food always hits the spot. I’m obsessed with their avocado toast — it’s always fresh and loaded just right — and the breakfast tacos are my go‑to (seriously, they never miss). Their lattes are smooth and consistently great, and I almost always grab a pastry because… why not? It’s one of those places that just puts you in a good mood. Great food, great coffee, great people. Definitely one of my favorites in Bellaire!
100% standout experience across the board. In no particular order: Food taste and presentation. Service - from counter to clean up. Culture - front of house to the back. Workplace happiness. All of it was a pleasure to see, watch and experience. Everything was purposefully staffed and well executed from walk in to walk out. Great stop.
We enjoyed our brunch here. Good food with really good portions. We got the following items, with asterisks to indicate what we’d get again - Black Bean Tostada - Biscuits and Jam (all 3 flavors) - Chicken and Waffles* - Lemon Blueberry French Toast Sticks* - Chilaquiles* - Strawberries & Cream French Toast - Avocado Toast
I recently visited Dandelion Cafe and it was such a delightful experience! Despite our large group on a busy Saturday, the staff made sure we could all sit together, which was wonderful. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere warm and inviting. I ordered a build-your-own omelet, and I loved that they offered chicken sausage as a protein option. The addition of avocado made it even better. And of course, I couldn’t resist the mimosa flight, which featured unique flavors you can choose from. I chose hibiscus honey, blueberry, vanilla lavender, and peach. Overall, Dandelion Cafe provided a great experience that I’d highly recommend!
We went thinking they actually served dandelions anything, but sadly we were wrong but not completely disappointed. They offered a great menu with plenty to choose from. The baked goods were sinfully tempting and heavenly in taste and low in sugar. The atmosphere was inviting and all the patron friendly and engaging. Parking was no problem. Dandelions or no we’ll be back. If you want to enjoy a pleasant meal with family, friends or alone this is the place.
This is such a cute little corner cafe we stumbled across for some breakfast before starting our day! And when I say little, it is really quant, but it fit the aesthetic of this place well. Be mindful of it possibly being busy with minimal seating, with a few tables for outside dining as well. It’s counter service so you will have to order from the counter and they provide a number to set on your table so they can deliver the food over to you, with a little station close to the door so you can grab your own utensils, napkins, or water refills as you please. I ordered the dandy classic with maple sausage, was offered turkey sausage as well, and my boyfriend got the chicken and waffles, which they advertised as award winning. My breakfast was phenomenal, the sausage I could tell was made in house due to their unique blend of spices, and even the hash browns were unique in their own sense but delightful and a one of a kind to eat. My boyfriend loves the chicken and waffles with their spicy maple butter too. It wasn’t spicy per se, but it did have a nice kick and bite with complimented the tender chicken and fluffy waffle. We went on a Wednesday morning so we also took advantage of the daily half off hotcake special and ordered two for our son. That was our mistake because the pancakes were huge! We couldn’t even finish it because of how full we got. Absolutely massive, yet it was perfectly fluffy and tasty. Would highly recommend this place for the vibes and delicious food!
Dandelion Cafe in Bellaire, TX, is an absolute favorite in the Houston area. Whether you're just grabbing coffee on the go or sitting down for a meal, the food is seriously good. I recently had their stuffed peach French toast special, and it was out of this world—so delicious! What I love most is that it's a Black and Woman-owned business, and supporting them feels great. The staff is incredibly friendly, always greeting you with big smiles. The vibe inside is super chill, making it the perfect spot to hang out and enjoy your food. If you’re in the area, definitely check out Dandelion Cafe. Great food, amazing people, and a place that really cares about the community—what’s not to love?
Order first at the counter, they give you a number, and you find your own table. Everything is made to order and took about 10-15 minutes for food to come out. Huge portions! Everything was seasoned well and it’s a pretty heavy breakfast. You only need 1 pancake, the size is bigger that my head. All food runners were nice and manger was courteous. Definitely a must try, come before 11am, it gets very busy on the weekend.
I wish this place was more well known because the food and service is some of the best for breakfast that you’ll find in Houston. A true boutique restaurant that can get busy, still the team is very nice and helpful. We had our meal outside on a cool day and it was quite relaxing. The food is as authentic and farm-to-market quality. I don’t recommend the latte but I suggest the fresh Juices instead, specifically the Green Machine: Kale, spinach, celery, cucumber, parsley, apple & lemon.
Dandelion Cafe was a nice breakfast spot. Went on a Saturday morning and it was absolutely packed, you could tell the staff was feeling it but they were doing their best. The homemade biscuit was nice but didn't hold the chicken place like a good sandwich would. Blueberry pancakes were massive and shareable; they reviews about only needing 1 or 2 of those is accurate. The bacon and eggs were nothing to write home about. Would return to try some other items.
I came looking for a place I have yet to try and landed on this cute little spot. I like the idea of placing your own order and sitting down. I do wish that all the workers were as friendly as one another, some were nice and some were just trying to get you over and done with. The food did exceed my expectation however I’m not sure you get what you pay for, prepare to spend at least $50 for 2 people.
It gets busy but the line moves quickly, portions are deceiving you'll leave full . ( unless you just order the toast and guacamole 😄 ) It's family style in the sense that you might have to sit with a completely different family I can't remember the general manager's name but he's been there forever , funny and very attentive ( I wish I could remember his name ) can't miss him he's constantly walking around and checking to see if there's anything you might need . I wouldn't say it's very child friendly but sometimes you just want to eat and catch up with your friends Order a craft of mimosas and enjoy 😉
Small cozy breakfast and lunch joint. The food is good a reasonable mid-prices. Plenty of condiments available to select as needed. The staff is friendly, but the interior seating is a bit too cramped and takes away from the experience. One gender-neutral restroom. Parking is small but works for this location's size.
Great brunch spot in the Bellaire neighborhood of Houston. The service was extremely fast (under 10 minutes to get all of our food) and the atmosphere inside the cafe is very lively yet also laidback. The food was good, not great, but good. That was the consensus of the party of four that I went. The one menu item we had that did stand out was their smoothies. I recommend the Caribbean breeze. This place is slightly pricey, but the portion sizes are huge… I mean it’s Texas after all.
The food was good but the restaurant is super small. You have to order before you sit down and I felt like I was disturbing the people sitting at the tables because we were standing near them waiting to order. We felt rushed to finish eating because more people were arriving but there was no seating available. We went for breakfast and it was pricier than we expected. The coffee was bottomless but we did not enjoy the taste of it at all so we did not get a refill. Update to owner response. Thank you for your reply, we definitely will return and give it another try when you expand because the food was really good.
First time coming here to eat upon entering young lady cleaning up was not friendly just making faces at us not sure why hopefully management can address this. The cashier fega was very friendly and welcoming upon taking our order there was an issue with chicken & waffle meal but management took our plate away I ordered another meal but was charged full price for my first meal that was an issue in the future management should communicate with your customers and correct the issue Gage came to the rescue with recommendation for Dandy chilaquiles and it was absolutely perfect restaurant is very clean and all coffee accessories are available for self serve Smoothie the hulk a must try here.
First time here so this is my impression. Please excuse the food photo, we were starving. The staff are super nice and polite. We shared the pancake platter, made them pumpkin and then ordered the dandy classic. Food was so good but a bit over priced. My complaint is with the coffee. Ordered a pumpkin spice latte with almond milk and it tastes like drip coffee with just foam on top. Not good at all and def not worth ordering. Total was $48 for two coffees and what they consider two full size platters.
