⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our experience here. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was delicious, but what really stood out was the dessert. It was something I had never tried before, truly unique and incredibly good. Such a pleasant surprise! The staff was just as amazing as the food kind, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. They even gave us a thank-you card, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch that really made our night feel special. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and the food exceeded expectations. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others. A hidden gem! 💛✨
The baked potato chips and the King of Kings sausage are very delicious. The beef kebabs are a bit tough and the mutton kebabs have a strong smell. The spicy stir-fried squid is quite good.
We went on Friday night and it got busy around midnight. Many groups of people needed to wait for the tables. We like the stir fried pork ears pair with stir fried instant noodles. Yum!
The service was excellent from the moment we walked in. Although the decor was average, I didn't mind because I was there for the food. I ordered three types of veggie skewers and fried rice. The food was very flavorful and filling. I didn't want to eat too much because I had just broken my fast, but once I finish my diet, I plan to explore more options from the menu. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will most likely come back again.
Midnight Kabob and Seafood in Houston Chinatown is a great spot for enjoying delicious kabobs and a variety of other tasty dishes. We had the lamb kabob, which was absolutely delicious, and the beef kabob with fat, though it didn’t have as much flavor. We also tried the squid, spicy fish, lotus root, potato, and a huge chicken wing—all of which were really good. The food overall was fantastic, and they have lots of drink options to pair with your meal. This is a perfect place to get together with family or friends, have some drinks, and enjoy some great kabobs. Highly recommended for a casual, enjoyable dining experience!
Is my first time going to a kebab restaurant. I truly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and they had multiple TVs playing different shows, and everybody was just enjoying themselves from each table. They had multiple types of meats and vegetables to try and everyone was good. My favorite ended up being the squid tentacles didn’t think I would like it so much but I wanted more. It was more chewy than the other items I was eating.
All I can say is this is the best street food we ever had. Its fresh and very flavorful. It is the best. We love all what we ordered. Service was excellent! Very friendly and welcoming. They do take good care of you well. Ambiance was cute! And trendy.
I absolutely love this place! The vibe is amazing — chill music, great atmosphere, and it’s the perfect spot to relax, have a drink, and enjoy some seriously good food all at the same time. I ordered the ear pork salad, oysters, squid 🦑, and chicken skin, paired with a cold beer — oh my gosh, everything was delicious! 🥰 The flavors were on point, and the seafood was super fresh. The service was also great — friendly and fast! You can tell they really care about their customers. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a late-night food hangout. I’ll be coming back for sure!
I’ve been to a few famous Chinese kabob spots in NYC, and this place is better. The seasoning, the quality of meat, and the portion sizes for price are great! Not too salty or oily but still super flavorful. The lamb skewers and the half grilled squid were the best, but everything was good. This place deserves to be packed with a line out the door. Highly recommend!!
Great eating and drinking spot with family and friends! The skewers are well priced, and food is seasoned to your liking. I've been going here and haven't had a bad experience with them yet. I recommend getting their meat skewers more than their vegetable skewers. They also sell crawfish and other types of seafood. The oysters are a must try! Wasn't a big fan of the crawfish, but perhaps others will like it. The house special dishes they have are wonderful as well. The beers are cheap during their happy hours at 9pm, you won't find beer for $3 or $2.50!
Nice hole in the wall, good prices mainly!! Staff was helpful and the food came out pretty quickly. Gave us free peanuts and greens to snack on while we waited!! Love this spot, they have very good price for beer
This Chinese kabob BBQ restaurant has quickly become my go-to spot for a delicious and unique dining experience. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the tempting aroma of skewers sizzling on the grill, setting the stage for what's to come. The kabobs here are truly exceptional—each one is perfectly marinated and grilled to juicy, smoky perfection. Whether it’s the tender lamb, succulent chicken, or the savory beef, every bite is packed with bold flavors that speak to the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the grill masters. The seasoning is just right—not overwhelming, but perfectly balanced, giving each skewer a satisfying kick. What I love most is the wide variety of options, from traditional Chinese-style BBQ to more adventurous offerings that you can’t easily find elsewhere. The skewers are served with a side of fresh, crisp vegetables, adding a nice contrast to the rich, grilled meats. Plus, their dipping sauces—especially the spicy one—are an absolute must-try! The atmosphere is casual and friendly, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff is always attentive, and the service is quick, which makes it even more appealing when you're craving a delicious BBQ fix. Overall, this restaurant is a gem for anyone looking for authentic Chinese BBQ flavors. From the perfectly grilled kabobs to the vibrant ambiance, it’s an experience that never disappoints. Highly recommend it to anyone in the mood for amazing BBQ!
Skewers were grilled really nicely and seasoned really well. We got the lamb, beed (with fat), and pork belly skewers, with grilled jumbo oysters and grilled squid. Oysters were garlicky which we love! We definitely recommend grilled squid, oysters and lamb! Check out our instagram foodie page @waifudies

We saw it on IG and decided to give it a try, also it opens until 1am which is great for night owl like me and my husband. The skewers are great, but I wish they have more seasonings options. The rice noodles reminded me of Taiwan’s rice noodles, which is delicious. The service is friendly and super nice. It will be our late night spot.
Great food, great staff, and great vibes. The oysters and scallops were very good. Pork belly with enoki mushrooms definitely tops everything though ◡̈
The service was impeccable Steven was our waiter. We ordered skewers at multiple points he was very attentive & considerate. One example is when crawfish came out steaming he reminded my daughter plate was hot. He was very patient taking her order. HIGHLY RECOMMEND him as server!!! As for the food 10/10. Many healthy options of whole foods minimally processed. Seasoned perfectly, potions were not overwhelming left satisfied. Open late will be returning!!!
Food was delicious! Service was prompt! We ordered lamb, pig intestines, chicken gizzard skewers, large oysters and snails. Came back again second time and felt that the food standards have dropped. The service was also slower than the previous time we were there. The grilled frog was overcooked and under seasoned. Intestines were also overcooked and tough. This might be the last time I visit this restaurant.
The atmosphere is a bit more quiet than Gao's, which my friends love. The food are similarly seasoned, but not overly salty. A lot of varieties to choose, but sometimes not all good.
Randomly choose the restaurant in the plaza because I have no idea what I’m craving for. Turns out to be a good choice. Lamp skewer is okay, the meat feel chewy which is less desirable. The flavor is just fine. Pork belly skewer doesn’t taste good, meat slice is way too thick and fry. Recommend snails, scallops, pork kidney and duck head. The flavor is just right. Not too salty( which most of the BBQ restaurants have).

This spot is great for a date night! There’s so many different kabobs to try and the house fried rice was delicious. They had great music playing throughout the time I was there. Service was a little slow but I did see the previous reviews saying to order a lot at once and that’s what we did. The waiter was attentive and it wasn’t too packed- definitely worth it. They do have happy hour after 9pm so I’ll be back to try that out!

Came here on a whim since our option #1 and #2 were booked out for the night. Upon entering I noticed a subtle but noticeable smell of staleness. The staff was kind of cold and seemed judgy. The water had a funny “old pipe” taste to it. The fried rice portion is quite large and alright, as well as the pork belly skewers. The beef tendon skewers were a bit though and the beef ones were pathetic in size. Anyways, after we returned back home I had to violently throw up until my stomach was empty. I’m glad I didn’t get any of the sea food.
Service was great - friendly and fast. But the Google maps rating feels skewed… The food was mediocre. Kabob is not very flavorful, very chewy. Had also pig feet and instant ramen. Everything was low flavor. Considering the amount of alternatives for a Chinese kabob places in the area, I wouldn’t recommend this
It's a fun time, no one really singing the Karaoke. The food is pretty good but the prices leave something to be desired. All in all, yes, go check them out. It's fun to try at least once.
