Went for a night out and got to enjoy great food and atmosphere! Wide variety of food. I had the "tantalizing silky pan seared salmon" and it was so delicious. The sauce with the salmon paired with rice and vegetables was making my mouth have a party!

I’m a huge fan of oysters! I will definitely come here again. As a foreigner, it was hard to order because oysters were not listed on the menu. However, I was able to order them verbally with the staff. In my case, since I’m not good at speaking English, I found it a little difficult. But the staff were nice and friendly. Furthermore, I love the atmosphere. It feels like I’m inside a ship. For me, this is personally the No.1 restaurant in Bellevue🦪🦪🦪

My parents and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Duke's Seafood, and it was an absolute delight. The award-winning chowder truly lives up to its reputation - it's creamy, flavorful, and packed with fresh seafood. Wonderful. The rest of our meal was equally impressive. The seafood was cooked to perfection, and the sides were delicious, though we didn't realize we'd get so many fries! Next time maybe we would try to substitute the fries for some vegetables instead. Our server was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Overall, the food is outstanding, the service is impeccable, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again!

First time to Seattle! We had exceptional service. The calamari and Salmon bites were phenomenal! The entrees, Parmesan Halibut and Silky smooth Salmon were outstanding! We had some great wine, cocktails and desserts too! Thank you for a phenomenal experience!

Hands down a 5-star seafood experience, I literally loved everything we ordered! Everything was fresh and delicious.

Had a great meal at Duke’s Seafood in Bellevue. We ordered two types of oysters, the fish tacos, crab sandwiches, clam chowder, and a salad—everything was fresh and delicious. The oysters were impressive, and the crab burger was packed with real crab meat. The chowder was creamy and satisfying.

5+ stars all day. Delicious food, outstanding service. Highly recommended. The best burger I have ever had. The best steamer clams. The best crab cakes we’ve ever had. Wow, that’s why we keep coming back.

Came here for dinner during business trip. Restaurant is located in downtown Bellevue. The service is really good and server is very attentive. Crab cake is awesome! And the appetizer portion is enough for two people to share. I love that they have chowder sampler option on the menu and I was able to order dinghy size for that. Awarding winning clam chowder is creamy and delicious. North by northwest chowder is refreshing. However, I didn’t like the lobster chowder. It is a little bit too sour to my taste. Both Salmon sliders and steam clams are recommended.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since there are so many seafood options in the area, however this was an amazing experience. It wasn’t too busy for a Thursday night. We sat at the bar and ordered a few cocktails to start. We grabbed the chowder sampler and I’m glad we did! The clam chowder was still my favorite though! So creamy and delicious. We ordered the stuffed halibut and the fish and chips. I was very satisfied with everything we received. The flavors on the stuffed halibut were to die for. Such a great pairing! For dessert we had the marionberry pie. It was not too sweet and the vanilla ice cream was very flavorful. It was such a wonderful experience. It’s absolutely worth the try!

Very delicious food, although they seemed to be on the greasy side. I don't think seafood in general needs that much work on the sauce and cheese.

Awesome spot for a family outing, drinks with friends, and certainly for a feast! Huge selection of freshly seafood, including classic PNW offerings, as well as refreshing spins. Healthy options available as well; the portions are hefty, for the price, the quality and quantity are very reasonable. Very tasty. Looking forward to next time - staff were very friendly, professional, and the restaurant is located conveniently in the downtown Bellevue area.

I loved the ambiance of the restaurant - an elevated casual environment without a sense of pretentiousness. Our booth seating was comfortable and sufficiently private. The great big window close by provided wonderful natural light on this Summer evening. Food was good. Really enjoyed the chowder sampler which allowed us to try 4 different chowders. We also ordered the Wild and Bleu Blackened Salmon Salad, and the Holy Halibut Macadamia. For dessert, we ordered the Marionberry Pie which was amazing! Server was courteous and attentive. A great dining experience.

It's always a pleasure dining at Ducks Seafood. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This time, I tried the cioppino, and it was fantastic—just the right amount of spice that really enhanced the flavors. The portion was generous; I couldn't even finish it!

Wow what a treat of a place. Good drinks, good views, and good food. We all ordered different appetizers and we liked them all. The favorite was the crab dip very flavorful, also the crab cake was scrumptious. Also wasn’t overly priced like you normally find in seafood restaurants. We also got the maple bites, but it was literally 1 bite of food for like $10, not really worth it. The blood orange margarita was very good, my coworkers also got other cocktails that looked and tasted good. For entrees we got the stuffed salmon, the filet migon chef special , the burger melt and fish tacos. I didn’t hear one complaint about any of the meals, everyone loved their food. For a seafood restaurant in a higher end mall it was priced very reasonably allowing one to try more items on the menu for less than $100. My only complaint was the sorbet didn’t taste fresh like it claimed. It was crumbling apart as I ate it and not creamy leading me to believe it was pretty old. Also the server took a little while to take our order, but he was a good server besides that. Eric gave good menu suggestions and brought us requested items promptly. I would highly recommend paying Dukes a visit.

A fine restaurant to go to for seafood. Their clam chowder is one of the best I've had in Washington. The fish tacos, even though they come wrapped in a regular tortilla, the tortilla is toasted nicely and the flavor was amazing. The marmalade on then gives it a pleasant sweet to the savory flavor, yum! And even though I'm from Maryland, the crab cake was actually quite decent, very happy with my meal.

Great dinning experience. I love seafood so dukes was perfect. They have a great selection of oysters and you can watch them shuck them while you wait for your table. I loved their drink menu. My favorite was The Duke & The King. Oysters, food, dessert, all fabulous. The crab cakes were winners and were a table favorite.

Duke’s Seafood – Officially the Chowder King of Seattle 🥄👑 I came to Seattle on a personal quest: to find the best clam chowder in the land of overpriced fish and plaid shirts. I tried them all. Pike Place Market? Tourist soup. Ivar’s? Decent, if you like your chowder with a side of seagull aggression. Elliott’s? Pretty views, but my taste buds said, “meh.” From the first bite, I swear I heard a choir of chowder angels sing - with their clams out, beaming godly chowder energy. Creamy. Rich. Perfectly balanced. Every bite had perfectly portioned amounts of clam and veggies. The drink menu? Let’s just say it channeled my ancestoral thirst to be a raging alcoholic. I’m talking dangerously good cocktails. The kind that makes you forget about the rain, your ex, the homeless homies fighting outside, and the $38 parking downtown.

Perfect seafood meal! Attentive and VERY friendly service. Hearty protein within each portion. And the food was fresh and VERY tasty! Especially loved the Stuffed Halibut and the PNW Seafood Chowder (tomato based broth) Will be coming back - a lot. Quintessential local chain.

We came in for a later lunch and were seated right away in a booth in the bar area. It was fairly busy, but not crazy. Our waitress was very friendly and really stayed on top of filling our drinks, answering questions and checking in on us. Our orders came out pretty quickly and were really good. No complaints on the food, just really quality ingredients and flavor (see more comments on the pictures). The price was a little steep for lunch, but we felt the quality was definitely there. We don’t live in town, but my parents do and I would recommend it to them for sure.

In my opinion Duke has the best happy hour in Bellevue. The crab cakes are filled with crab instead of fillers. Clam chowder is richly flavoured and not starchy. The fish tacos are the size of a dinner plate! Two things that impressed me most are: The bartenders - drinks are subtle and complex like a fancy bar. Every cocktail I ordered was amazing. The table service - intuitive, where they would split the portion of food with my guest. Now that is service! Love this place!!!

I really enjoyed the Clam chowder, the bread seemed fresh, and the fish was wonderful. A great culinary experience!

Stopped by a local spot tonight and left happy. The burgers were juicy, fries perfectly crispy, server remembered my drink order without writing it down. Cozy vibe, quick service, great value. Coming back soon!

The food was delicious, no doubt about it. Service was okay too, if not but a bit slow and distracted. I’d say my biggest complaint had to do with the Clam Chowder… $18 for a “large” bowl of chowder, what was actually quite shallow and flat-bottomed. The flavor and texture were good and all, but the optical illusion tricks with your portions smack of shenanigans you’ll find at lower quality restaurants and make people question the value of what they’re paying for… something that has taken down more great restaurants than you can count.

We came cross Duke’s after watching the Snowflake Lane parade. They stood out in Google search. We queued for about 5minutes and seated in bar area which serve the full menu. They serve fresh baked sourdough bread with butter which is a perfect match. The shrimp dip honey taste good. Sea bass taco and stuffed fish are both good fits our stomach. Environment is quiet and neat. Only odds was that the liquid waste bin put just in front of us. Seeing straws floating with ice upset my stomach. Hope they will put to backside.

We found Duke’s Seafood by chance when searching for raw oysters after shopping in Bellevue Square, and it already becomes our favorite for oysters in Bellevue. The restaurant locates in Lincoln Square, just across the street. We usually come here for brunch/lunch and always get seated right away. Except for the bar area, most of their tables have a very nice window view towards the Bellevue Square across Bellevue Way. The tables and booths are spacious so we can sit comfortably. They serve warm sourdough and butter here the moment you sit down, and we enjoy that very much. Their menu has many seafood options ranging from fish, clams, to crabs, and lobsters. There are occasionally some seasonal options as well. Of course our favorite is the oysters. They usually have 2-3 types of fresh oysters daily and we always try all of them. We especially love the combination of the sauces that come with the oysters that we cannot find it anywhere else. The oysters are sweet and fresh, pair greatly with the sauce which strengthens their flavor. They are also famous for their chowders and crab un-cakes, but we are not as impressed as the oysters. In overall, Duke’s Seafood is a decent restaurant with a very good location right in Bellevue Downtown. If you don’t want to reserve ahead of time or stand in line for a table after hanging out nearby, this is a pretty good option for seafood and fresh oysters.

My husband and I visited from KC over Labor Day weekend. My husband had the combo fish n chips with New England clam chowder. He said the clam chowder was the best he’s ever had (and he’s had a LOT). I ordered the mixed grill. The veggies (snow peas) were amazing. The crab cakes were delicious, the scallops were cooked perfectly. The prawns were a little overcooked/dry but everything else was delicious. We had amazing service too.m (Cam B is what our receipt says). Would definitely go back.

Duke’s Seafood in Bellevue offers a warm, casual dining experience with a focus on fresh seafood, including raw oysters, seafood dishes, and cocktails. The restaurant is styled with nautical accents, creating a relaxed yet lively atmosphere that fits perfectly with its coastal-inspired menu. It’s a popular spot, especially during lunch and dinner hours, where you’ll find a bustling crowd and a long bar perfect for enjoying a drink. The menu is packed with seafood options at reasonable prices, catering to a wide range of tastes. While the flavors are decent, they don’t necessarily stand out as exceptional—many of the dishes are solid, but they lack the wow factor that some seafood lovers might expect. That said, the raw oysters are a refreshing highlight, and the seafood dishes are satisfying for a casual meal. Duke’s service is attentive! Despite the busy environment, the staff are friendly and ensure you have a great dining experience. Whether you're there for a quick lunch or a more relaxed dinner, the service is consistently on point. In summary, Duke’s Seafood provides a pleasant, no-frills seafood experience in a lively setting. With its reasonable prices and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great spot for seafood lovers looking for a laid-back meal.

Nice deco and food is seasoned well. My favorite is mixed seafood salad. I don't recommend stuffed halibut, it was so dry.

A stop for seafood, elevated chain - but still a good stop for seafood and local Washington fair. Had some appetizers and chowder - all were large helpings. Service was very good.

So I stopped at Dukes for a few drinks! I really liked the nautical themed restaurant, the bartender was really nice and made my old fashion very well. I didn’t try the food but I will be back to do so. From the quick visit I had it was enough for me to know that it’s worthy of second visit. It’s located in Lincoln square and parking is validated.

Duke’s Seafood Restaurant has 7 locations in the Greater Seattle area. The one I dine in is in Lincoln Square South in downtown Bellevue. Not too busy Sunday night when I was there. Food was ok. There are many restaurants in Lincoln Square South, so competition is great. Duke’s offer lunch menu, Supper Menu, Chef’s Special menu, Drinks menu, Dessert menu, and kid’s menu. With lots of seafood choices.

We went to Happy Hours on Monday, it was not busy. You do have to sit by the bar to order the happy hours menu, 3-6 pm. We ordered calamari and it was streak strips. It was good, tasted fresh. The crab cake sandwich was also good, it is little messy. I can tasted the crab. It has bacon and avocado on top. The clam chowder was good, the clam was smaller pieces and it has bacon bites. My sister in law likes her salad with blackened salmon. We asked for bread basket like away. It is hard to pass up good sourdough loaf with butter. Service was good.

We had a really good time at Dukes. Our waitress was Peach and she was great. The food was pretty good overall. The portion sizes were generous. The drinks were really good. The atmosphere felt pretty dated. A good experience overall.

Great ambience for a dinner place. We got a table with the view of the sunset and the service was excellent. The service began with us getting a table on short notice on a Saturday night. The lady who took our call and the lady who was the hostess were both excellent and made our experience start off on a very positive note. The food was great, especially the fish and chips. The tacos were good, but not much of flavor on the fish albeit the tortillas wrap and salsa was great. Our waiter was excellent and perfect on everything. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Located in a mall, Duke's is not very big. Dark atmosphere with the shellfish display being the brightest spot. Had the lobster tail stuffed with dungenous crab. It came with roasted squash. The lobster tail was good but a very small portion for market price. I was given a small sample of their clam chowder, which is supposed to be one of their staple dishes. It was the best I ever had. The staff was pleasant and helpful with the menu, being it was my first visit to Duke's.

I came to Duke's Happy Hour at the invitation of my girl friend. There were a few customers inside the bar area. We sat at a comfortable booth around it. My girlfriend ordered "Peaches for me" from a Happy Hour drink menu. And we ordered the fresh oysters we wanted. On this day, there were Kumamoto oyster and another type of oyster. We ordered six oysters each. I recommend this season's oysters. Kumamoto oysters had an exceptional aroma and flavor. You should eat seasonal oysters. I also ordered Dungeness Crab "Un"Cake and Wild Alaska Salmon Bites. The crab cake was delicious, but the price was a little high. Our server provided the most pleasant service.

Great seafood sections! Fresh oysters year round! Nice service! Good location with free parking. A bit over price. Came here for dinner on a weekday. We got seated right away. As I looked through the menu, I saw a cup of award winning clam chowder was $10.90. One piece of fish and chips was $17.90. This is a nice restaurant but the price for the food seems a little high. However, the food was very tasty. The soup was delicious. The crab cake was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sauce went very well with the crab cake. The ravioli was stuffy! Salmon was also crispy on the outside and tender inside. Overall, the dinning experience was great!

Great seafood and a good variety on the menu. The service was well done. The atmosphere was a bit louder than I had hoped for but they seated our group quickly. The noise level was probably similar to other compatible eateries in Bellevue Square.

We came across Duke’s Seafood in Bellevue after looking through many dining options in the area. Since this brunch was planned to meet someone special, we were hoping for a more upscale and relaxed experience and decided to try Duke’s. We arrived without a reservation around 1 pm, and the restaurant was fairly empty. After a short wait, they were able to seat us. We were told that the window tables were all “reserved,” even though most of the tables remained empty throughout our visit. The service was one of the highlights. Our server was very nice, professional, and patient, giving us plenty of time to decide and offering helpful recommendations. The complimentary sourdough bread was also a nice touch. I expected the food to be on the expensive side, but the portions felt quite small for the price. While the food was good, it felt more costly than expected for a brunch portion. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with great service and atmosphere, though the value didn’t fully meet expectations.

I recently had dinner here with family from out of state and left feeling pretty underwhelmed. The atmosphere is nice in theory, but the restaurant is so dark that I could barely read the menu, which made it more frustrating than cozy. Service was decent—our server was polite and checked in a couple of times, but nothing about it really stood out. For the price point, I was expecting a higher level of attentiveness. As for the food, it was mostly mediocre. My fish tacos were disappointing—they came out soggy and lacked much flavor (it came with chips and salsa, which I thought was strange). Other dishes at the table were fine but nothing memorable (clam chowder, fish and chips, calamari appetizer). The cocktails were okay, but they didn’t taste very high quality or carefully made, just average drinks you could get anywhere (with a real properly stocked bar). Given the cost, the experience just didn’t match up. Between the average food, so-so service, and high prices, I don’t feel like it was worth it. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that offer better seafood and overall value.

O

Went there for a quick dinner. Food was good, however, quite pricey. Green salad at 20 and a bowl of clam chowder at 20 too was a bit high.

C

The crab cake is amazing. Truly more crab than cake. Crab meat is soft and juicy and flavourful. The salmon was overcooked and dry. I like the clam chowder; generous with the clam serving and not overly creamy and starchy. Overall a nice restaurant which I will come back again to try other dishes such as the lobster chowder.

j

Food is good overall but avoid the Caesar salad. The romaine lettuce was old and the croutons tasted like Ritz crackers. The crab cake is good but the happy hour order came with one small cake, a cube of guacamole and a smear of dressing. The server was unenthusiastic, cold and didn't offer an alternative when asked if they had wheat beer. Just a neutral, plaintive, "no". The rest of the staff was attentive and friendly but our server didn't seem to want to be there. We won't be back.

J

I ate here with a group of 6 and honestly the food was very blah. We started with some oysters and the majority of them were the tiniest oysters I have ever seen. The fried calamari was very small. Too small for an appetizer size. I had the stuffed halibut. It was very dry, hard and overcooked. Overall, I was disappointed eating here.

N
Niteesh Yarra

Claw chowder was amazing. Salmon bites were good too. Lobster was mehh. I expected better than that. And the fish taco was mehh too. Lot of salad filling and could barely taste the meat. But the tortilla on the taco was top class

Eat The-World

To each their own, but I don’t think Duke’s lives up to the multi-star hype. A group of 5 of us dined there recently, food was average at best for some dishes, below for others. The crab cake was tasty, but not quite $27 for one crab cake level of tasty. They did live up to their promise that it was more crab than cake, so that was nice. My wife had the cioppino. It was a watered down tomato soup that was semi seafood flavored. I had the fish and chips. These were actually tasty and well fried. It was the most dense panko batter though, if it was panko at all. Again though, $35 for two pieces of fish and a cup of fries. Our server was nice and professional. But we did wonder why every table in the restaurant had what appeared to be a complimentary basket of bread except us.

H
Hearth and Hollow

We took our in-laws from Colorado to Dukes this week and, unfortunately, were underwhelmed. The complimentary sourdough was tasty, but oddly cut, which made it awkward to eat, and the atmosphere was very dark and poorly lit, making it difficult to read the menus. The clam chowder and steamed oysters were average at best and overpriced for the portions. My husband’s halibut was decent but overcooked, and my Dukes Favorite pasta was disappointing: the salmon was overcooked and over-seasoned, and the promised caramelized onions and bell peppers were barely sautéed. Our server was polite but largely absent, never checking in to see if anything needed correcting. Overall, it just didn’t live up to the hype.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years. The staff was all very nice, but the food and portion size has definitely gone down while the prices have gone up. $20 for a small plate of calimari..... Almost $30 for a small seafood salad. For a party of 5 with ZERO alcohol it was $300 without tip. Was quite unhappy for the quality and quantity.
