Thoroughly enjoyed a family reunion for 12 here last night. We are all foodies and we ordered appetizers of beef and octopus carpaccio, calamari, Divino salad and Caesar salad. The bread served was delicious. Each appetizer was outstanding. Every entree was top notch too. I can't believe that this is the 1st time eating here despite living in Belmont for the past 15 years. Carlos (owner) set us up in the private room and Benjamin provided exceptional service. 3 bottles of wine were enough for the evening. The lamb shank w rissoto, veal marsala, lasagna, pasta von gole, ravioli, and taglierini w shrimp, arugula and mushrooms were all delicious. The housemade pastas were perfect! We shared the apple fritter and chocolate volcano and they finished off our evening with just the right sweetness to leave us all feeling fully satisfied w smiles on all of our faces. I cant wait to come back! This is my new favorite neighborhood restaurant. My uncle who lives in Menlo Park said this will be his new go to Italian restaurant too.
Neighborhood gem in Belmont with excellent food and service. This restaurant offered much better service than the bigger restaurants in San Mateo, Redwood City, and San Carlos. Exceptional food quality throughout the menu and great wine selection. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our meal.
Sometimes you don’t know what your soul needs after a long travel day but today, it was this place. The service is prompt, gracious, and attentive. The food is some of the best Italian that I’ve had in a long time. The owner and staff seemed to know every other person who stopped in, so the vibe was inviting and friendly. I am so grateful that this place came up in my search results; it was an absolutely delightful evening.
Great local Italian restaurant. There is parking in the back. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is great. There are quite a few favorites - specifically the calamari, spaghetti and meatballs and the veal scallopini. This time we tried the salmon and the steak. The calamari appetizer is tasty and comes non-breaded with beans and arugula. The desserts are also great, and there is no picture because they were devoured before I had a chance.
True gem in peninsula! Delicious and comforting food with reasonable price. Everything ordered was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. Service are also perfect. A very awesome go to place in town!
The waiter is super nice and the meal is tatsty
Been going here since opening and I won’t stop! All staff is amazing, very clean and delicious food. It’s always consistent. Very traditional. Best service
Exceptional Italian food: understated sauces to complement the fresh ingredients. Home made pasta in the Taglietelle w shrimp & mushrooms let's you taste the pasta and caramelized onions. The Sedanini (tube pasta, outsourced) delivered on flavor (tomato cream sauce + sausage & roasted peppers) & texture. Pasta were ever so slightly el dente (just right). We had the veal and pork chops for our main. Both were tender and rich with, again, subtle sauces that let the main act (the meats) stand put. Panna Cotta dessert had excellent raspberry & orange sauces to accent. Warm, friendly, & attentive service. Very worthy.
The food here is delicious! Get their pasta and the wine to have a cozy dinner. This restaurant is truly a neighborhood gem! Service can improve a little but food is really unbeatable. It’s not any worse than Michelin pasta. Reasonable price tags too! Will come back again :D
One of the best Italian food I have ever had. Service is great. Dessert is to die for. The have variety of Italian wine and beer. If you like Italian food Divino is a must try!

I showed up a bit near closing time but they welcomed me in with a smile! The staff was amazing, food and wine superb. A welcome break in my day for sure. I highly recommend Divino!

Very friendly and sweet staff serving delicious food. Butter was the flavor of the evening 😄
We are in town from Dallas, TX and just happened on to this marvelous restaurant. The food was delicious, Antonio was a terrific server, and the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. You could tell there were a lot of return guests from the warm hugs and laughter. This was the best Italian dinner we have had in years. We had a wonderful salad and fresh pasta that was to die for! Yummy dessert also. We hope to go back before we return to Dallas!
It was my wedding on January 31st and I thought I would only have eight people. It turned out I had 20 people all together and davino actually put it all together thank you Carlos. Everybody was so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious the service is great I will definitely could be coming back more often. Thanks everybody and staff! Oh and kudos to the chef that night not only did they put it together but it was delicious especially the swordfish. Highly recommend this restaurant
Cozy neighborhood gem with delicious food. Super fresh pastas and tasty food - the gnocchi melts in your mouth. Cocktail was made perfectly and I enjoyed my wine. It was our first time, but everyone else there were long standing regulars, greeted by name and hugs. Will definitely be back!

Delicious food, fast service, nice and comfortable place. We loved risotto.
The bolognese was EXCELLENT and authentic. Pasta was fresh and octopus salad refreshingly surprising and delicious. So glad we chose this place over others.

Such a wonderful restaurant! We came for the first time and they were so hospitable and welcoming to us (and our messy toddler!). Everything was fresh and balanced and delicious. The spaghetti with meatballs had a wonderfully bright tomato sauce, the handmade pappardelle had a lovely chew, and even the vegetable side was delicious. You could tell cooking is a real craft here. Thank you!
Very good service. Food was on the pricier side given the presentation and portions. The pasta dishes felt very homey and comforting but were on the blander side... the carpaccio was light on the stomach but not lackluster. The bread was the star of the night.

Attentive service and a very pleasant atmosphere. The food was solid and good with nothing to complain about, overall a nice and reliable Italian dining experience.

The pistachio encrusted pork chop (which was cold underneath), simply had crumbled pistachio sprinkled on top. The gravy was sweet which was weird. Wine was good. Very average for the price.
