Wowwww….. I almost cried while eating here. I had the chicken mole enchiladas and oh my goodness it was delicious. Has the perfect hint of spice, perfect hint of chocolate. It was so good. It was the best I’ve had in Central Texas. I had a chicken taco as well that was only OK….. HOWEVER back to the chicken mole enchiladas they were to die for.. I forgot to mention that the shredded chicken inside the enchiladas was tender, not dry how the chicken usually is at all these other Mexican restaurants that serve chicken mole… SOL DE JALISCO ON MAIN STREET IN BELTON GOES OVER AND BEYOND the expectations when it comes to CHICKEN MOLE ENCHILADAS…

Food and service are bussin (good). We're new to the area and while in Salado we were told we had to eat here. My wife got their monthly special written on the white board when you walk in, Flautas and I got the chicken chipotle enchiladas which were REAL GOOD. Try their warm salsa too. Service was top notch and prices are affordable. Do what my wife did and "forget" to take chicken out the freezer for dinner and suggest to go eat some Mexican food.

Best food I’ve had in a while. Came to this spot from Bastrop, Tx and I’m not going to lie. When I saw the Barria tacos on the menu I was too excited! ( we only have 1 restaurant that serves barria- And it’s only on the weekends smh) so anyway. I ordered beef fajitas as a backup but I can say! The food was delicious! 10 outta 10 I’ll definitely be back again!

Absolutely blew us away. The fajita for two plate is easily enough for four people. Extremely delicious, chips and salsa were great as well. Greeted with a smile, table service was A+. We will be back for sure!

Great little place to get a bite to eat. Been going here for years and never had less than great service and food!!

We had a large party but were quickly seated. Our server was brand new but did an excellent job! Food was ok, but nothing to write home about.

Good: Their birria tacos are good. The food came out hot. They have plenty of free parking. Not good: chips are ok. They don't have a liquor license so their margaritas are made with a wine mix. We ordered beer instead.

This was our first time here at Sol De Jaisco and the waitresses are very nice and friendly. 👍👍👍👍👍 We tried the Cream Cheese Enchiladas plate and they're very good but could be a little more spruce up. 😀 the Salsa and Chips were very good too. 👍👍👍👍 The Tea could have been better not so watered down. We would recommend though. 😀👍👍👍

Good food, good service. I ordered a Sol Enchilada, and the meat was delicious, basically fajita meat. However, it was just fajita meat wrapped in a tortilla covered in queso - not exactly an enchilada. Tasted good, but could use a little more. Great salsa and chips, but tasteless guacamole.

Food was ok. Service was very good. Rice was a little old. Multiple check backs by not just one but two servers. Place stayed busy. Prices were a little high but these days what isn’t.

Unfortunately, my chilaquiles was too spicy to eat. I hadn't yet put salsa on so it was the preparation of the dish. I've never had this happen before in a Mexican restaurant. Indian yes, Mexican no. My husband's breakfast was fine.

Super expensive for what you get. Plus, they charge you for using your credit card! I paid around $25 today for a medium queso, a small salsa and chips in the drive thru!

Service was HORRIBLE!!! Hostess sat us down, brought us our drinks and said someone would be with us shortly, after 5 minutes or so she asked if someone helped us yet, we told her no. After listening to them chitchatting and discussing who was going to help us, a young lady came to the table and said “yes”, really that’s how you’re gonna greet us (I thought), she took our order we ate our breakfast, which was good, it always is, that’s why we chose the place, of course no one checked up on us, we paid for our meal and left. Mind you, there was only one other person in the restaurant, so it’s not like they were busy, just too busy in the back chitchatting.
