This is the place to go in Bemus Point if you are looking for great wine, food, music and service. The atmosphere is relaxing and has sort of a Bogart Casablanca feel to it. The piano/jazz/singer ‘Nick’, is extremely talented and a regular on weekends. Outdoor and indoor seating are both excellent. We visit the CHQ & Bemus areas often during the summer, and Splash is our favorite place.

My wife loves coming here when we are in town. It seems upscale, but has a casual and comfortable vibe. The perfect "vacation" food and the best in the area by far! Keep up the good work Splash Team

We were on vacation with our dog and wanted to find a fun, dog friendly place with good food and Ellicottville Brewing checked all the boxes! Best margarita I've ever had, excellent beers and great food! I highly recommend the English Pub burger and fish tacos!! My dog made friends with our server and another dog seated near us. This place hit a home run for both human and canine!

Stopped here when taking my daughter and friend to a concert. It was around 5:30 on a Saturday. I requested a seat on their patio. After a short wait they got us right in. Our server was attentive and prompt. The food came in a timely manner. Everything we ordered was correct and good. The next time I find myself in Bemus Point I will definitely stop in.

I got a flight here, and the beer was all pretty good. Though the Hazy IPA definitely stood out. The Fruited Wheats were fine, as was the porter. The location is beautiful and right across the street from the water, which was nice. Lots of seating here, inside and outside. We sat outside. We didn't try any of the food ourselves, but what we saw looked good. Our server was Chelsea and she was super friendly and did a great job.

Atmosphere and service were excellent! Food was good but nothing crazy, the calamari was pretty good and the chicken was very well cooked and breaded. Definitely a great spot on the lake for some drinks, their selection is solid and everyone at my table really enjoyed all the beers & mixed drinks we got. Edit: well cooked as in cooked perfectly!

The outdoor seating with lake views is wonderful. The food and service are always great. The blackened fish tacos with truffle fries and the southern fried chicken with gouda macaroni and cheese are my personal favorites on the menu.

It took a few passes to find parking and they looked pretty busy on a Saturday evening, but the host gave me a generous greeting and led me to my own table as requested outside. As a solo traveler this was surprising as there weren't many left, and I'm used to feeling "undesired" at big places during prime hours. My waitress was super friendly, personable, and genuine - none of that strung-out welded on grin, secretly hoping I just drop a bunch of cash and get the heck out. I ordered a flight; I'll spare you my in-depth analysis but I will say the Jasmine IPA was delicious without overpowering hops, the Lake Bum was refreshing, tasty, and may be the perfect chillaxing beer, and the Strawberry Crunch is almost worth trying just for how they captured the flavor of those familiar desert bars, but as a beer it's terrible (no brewery I know is going to score 100s across the board, and that's part of the fun). The food was outstanding: fish fry was hot, crispy, flavorful and HUGE. There was a nice heap of fries done to perfection and the coleslaw was so fresh I ate every bite. I went for the croissant ice cream sandwich for dessert and it was an indulgence; the buttery roll was toasted and wrapped around top-tier French vanilla custard (well preserved, no ice crystals) along with thick layers of chocolate and hazelnut spread. Definitely worth it. I felt mildly toasted myself and well full and satisfied when finished. An appreciably tight band was cranking through Pat Benetar and Stevie Nix covers and I stayed for a few numbers. My only complaint was that they didn't have any cans of the excellent Lake Bum Lager to take home. Overall: an outstanding restaurant with remarkable service while performing near peak capacity.

We recently visited the Bemus Point location of EBC after some time away. We went during the off-season, and they easily accommodated our party of 10. The hostess was incredibly friendly. Our waitress got 9 out of 10 orders right. While my rare burger order was mistaken for a black bean burger, she quickly corrected it. However, the manager seemed agitated by the mix-up. My replacement burger came out medium, which was acceptable, but not what I had hoped for. The other orders and appetizers were perfect. Overall, it was a nice experience. The location is great, with beautiful lake views from the front. Although a few areas could use some touch-ups, we still enjoyed our visit.

The 4 stars are for 2 reasons. The 4 star for food was for the truffle fries. They were not cooked all the way and were soggy. The other issue was that they were out of watermelon flavor for drinks. That was a serious bummer. The 4 stars for the atmosphere were for the heat. It would have been tolerable if they had some ceiling fans. The service and the rest of the food were AWESOME! The 6 flight margaritas is TOTALLY worth it. Meals 1. Fish fry and french fries were delightful, and the tartar sauce was FABULOUS! 2. Bahn mi was fantastic 3. Chicken caprese with the best tomatoes! FANTASTIC! 4. Ultimate Steak was really tasty! Appetizer Calamari was SUPER FANTASTIC. I will go back just for the calamari!

We stopped in on Saturday, Jul 6th, and arrived early to get a seat. Small parking lot fills up fast, so we parked a few blocks away. There's a patio with a lake view, but we could sit on the side patio with our dog. The beer was excellent! My blackened fish tacos were not blackened, and the house kale slaw was mushy. However, fish and chips and the pasta dish were good. I would stop again and try more beer and meals.

I was here during a holiday weekend and came later for lunch. Our server Alexi was great! She was professional and kept checking on us. My mom had the New England style shrimp roll sandwich, which she absolutely loved. I had the power bowl with added grilled chicken. I’m sorry- there is no way to make kale taste good. It’s so bitter. But everything else in it was terrific and fresh. I also enjoyed the Bemus Blueberry lemonade cocktail. Both of us have mobility issues so the few steps were tricky; however, we appreciated the firmer chair and bench style booth to sit in. There are some of the high tables and chairs. There were lots of families and there’s two outdoor dining areas. They have some decent vegetarian options. They have a small lot for parking.

I had high expectations based on other's reviews. Unfortunately, my husband and I found the food mediocre at best. I appreciate that it was not mass produced food, but lacked some flavor and paid for just a main entree and not really much more (brisket served over mac and cheese came with a side of 5 coin sized carrots). I have a small appetite and felt the portion size was on the small size even for me. My husband had lobster patties on a bed of lettuce. Dessert was disappointing too. I try to limit my refined sugar intake and only order dessert if I think it's worth the sugar ingestion. I had the ultimate chocolate cake which was ok but definitely not ultimate and was more of a cross between cake and cheesecake like. My husband got the flour less chocolate cake and it was very gooey. Overall, disappointed in the meal.

Suggestion: Adding a note on your menu (and website) that the restaurant is tapas-style could be a great way to let guests know the portions are smaller and perfect for sharing bite-sized plates. It sets the stage for the kind of fun, social dining experience you’re aiming for... rather than leaving it as an unexpected surprise. Food Feedback: While I appreciated the concept of the brisket mac & cheese, the execution felt a bit off—the brisket was dry and lacked flavor, and the mac & cheese was slightly oily rather than creamy and cheesy. One customer’s comment comparing it to leftovers isn’t entirely off the mark. Related to the owner's responses to other customer reviews of this dish, it’s worth considering that some diners (myself included) may finish it simply because they’re hungry and the portion is small. The bigger goal might be to make it a dish guests are genuinely excited to order again.

Ordered the scallops, the menu said “four large sea scallops” the “large”were the size of a half dollar, there were 3 that size and the 4th was the size of a nickel. Not sure how that comes out of a kitchen. My husband order the brisket Mac n cheese and it’s about the size of a child Mac in cheese. If you’re hungry order a lot of food lol.

It’s a shame what has happened to this restaurant over the last two years. Service used to be pleasant and attentive, and food was good. Prices have gone up dramatically while service and quality have gone down. On a previous visit, I ordered a salmon filet on top of a salad, as is offered on the menu. Instead I received a salad covered in bad smelling flakes of salmon. Others in my party had similarly disappointing meals. We decided to give EBC another try today. They did not have sparkling water and even though we are sitting at a booth beside the bar, they would not serve us anything off the bar menu. The restaurant is not at all busy. My Southwest bowl arrived drenched in ranch dressing covering guacamole that is brown. Such a disappointment from where this restaurant used to be. I hope they recover. It is a nice setting.

I'm very disappointed. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered the brisket mac and cheese I didn't realize it came in a 4oz bowl with small 3 pieces of very dried brisket on it. My husband ordered the short ribs and cheesy polenta and got a few pieces of an over cooked pot roast as we requested the appetizer came out at the same time. We were both disappointed with the entrees but we were happy the Asiago bowl looked delicious till we tasted it and it was cold. I had a tito and lemonade and it was $19. I get going to a nicer place and paying more for a delicious meal with small portions but that is contingent on the meal being delicious not tasting like small portions of left overs. Shame to we were planning on coming back for the flat bread mushroom pizza and the sushi. But no thank you.

Ordered the mac and cheese with brisket. What we received was mashed potatoes with brisket. Informed waitress it was wrong, but instead of replacing just brought a side of mac n cheese. Brisket was old and dried out. (See pic). Was told it would be comped off the bill. However, still charge for the mac and cheese as a side dish. The owner and supplier both apologized, but when I was still charged for the mac n cheese, I was even more disappointed. Service was good and great atmosphere. still tippep well because it wasn't the waitresses fault the food was old. Updated after response: WE ORDERED MAC AND CHEESE WITH BRISKET, NOT MASHED POTATOES. Had to remove the brisket and put on mac and cheese. And still charged for a side of mac and cheese.

As someone who works in the food and beverage industry, this is the first restaurant review I have ever felt compelled to write. Completely deceiving menu, items labeled as gluten free that aren’t, ingredients missing from sushi and drinks. Most menu items being unavailable due to “holiday weekend” yet the restaurant was empty late afternoon. Took 45 mins to receive a water and cocktails. Worst California roll I have ever tasted, dry and lacking flavor. Manager was extremely rude and expressed that the other restaurant’s food in the vicinity “would not taste as good” if we had left and went somewhere else. I am not one to complain while dining out but coming here seriously put a damper on our day.

Worst experience ever. Waited 40 mins for drinks, out of shrimp at 2 on Memorial Day at 2:00. Waitress put in wrong order for my daughter. Manager came over and was rude and then said they were also out of quinoa. Chicken wings app is marked gluten free but comes w Mac and cheese which is not gluten free, also they misspelled gluten all over the menu. When we said we could have gone to other restaurant the manager said in a oissy tone - fine go ahead but it won’t be as good. The California roll was dry as hell and said stick crab and there was none. The ahi tuna was bland and the items were entree prices and stated as such and they were appeitizer portions. I couldn’t even get a straw w my drink. It took over 45 mins to get raw food, which was bland and dry at that. Manager had no customer service experience at all. Bar tender was new and didn’t know how to make drinks …on Memorial Day weekend. That is hilarious Please please post this fictitious camera footage, we were never asked to leave, we never even complained after waiting 40 mins just for drinks. So please do show because myself and my 2 daughters have more class than that!

Never been here before thought we would try it out. The prices were ridiculous but we thought we would enjoy the view. The place was dead with only a few tables but they shove us in the back by the kitchen door. 15 min later someone finally came over. The food was ok but 2x the price of any other place we figured it’s because the lease on a location on the lake must be a lot and it’s reflected but we didn’t even get the view and we felt like we were treated poorly. We think this place is like the local dive bar as it was not clean and certainly not worth it to come here. We thought it was a nicer place but it is not. We regret going and will not return. $155 for a chx sandwich w/fries Taquitos, Salmon w/rice a salad 🥗 2 beers a soda and a milkshake If your thinking of going at least go to a different location as this one is not good at all.
