Junto was incredible!!! Absolutely loved my experience there last weekend. My friends and I ordered the following: 1. Beef Bao Buns - such a familiar taste. Soft and tasty! 2. The Rainbow Roll - a classic roll with variety of flavors. 3. Caviar Service - first time trying caviar, felt so adult like ;p Served on a bed of raw tuna, accompanied by Japanese milk bread! Very yum. 4. Baja California Roll - my favorite item I ate that night! 5. Lychee Martini = 10/10!!! Honorable mention cocktail was the "Harvest Moon"!! The environment of the restaurant is super classy. Loved the overall vibe and the delicious food was the cherry on top to a great evening!

Make your reservation! We went around 5 p.m. on a Saturday, and they were fully booked. I tried making a reservation online but couldn’t, so here’s what I learned: 1️⃣ Call ahead, or 2️⃣ Book your reservation in advance. Despite the rocky start, we sat at the bar and ended up having the best experience ever. The bartender was friendly and kind — he really made our meal extra special. We ordered the Spider Roll, Baja California, Tuna Tataki 🤤, and Forest Dragon with eel. (Sadly, I forgot to take pictures of the menu!) My favorite was the Tuna Tataki — it had a spicy, smoky flavor that was so good. FYI: the tables by the bar are first come, first served, and you can order food there too 🤭. Each roll is about $20. It’s definitely on the fancy side, so the prices reflect that. The sushi took a bit to come out, so just sit back, relax, and enjoy the vibe. Our night ended perfectly — the bartender surprised me with two birthday desserts 🥳: mochi ice cream and mochi churros. It was such a lovely evening with friends. 💫

I can’t stress enough how amazing this place is. Our host and server were friendly and easy to talk to. The drinks and food EXCEEDED my expectations. Try the TRUFFLE SAKE and YELLOWTAIL CARPACCIO, wowowow. We sat at the bar, and I’d probably sit there again. Just a beautiful place, don’t hesitate to try it. If I lived in the area, I’d be there regularly.

Dinner at Junto was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, creative, and beautifully presented — from the spicy edamame and bao buns to crispy chicken, wyagu, and sushi rolls that tasted just as good as they looked. We finished with warm churros and miso caramel and spicy chocolate dipping sauces that made the perfect sweet ending. What really set the night apart was the service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of without ever rushing us. It turned a great meal into a truly memorable evening. This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend a night out at Junto!

One of the most unforgettable experience ever! I love everything about this restaurant—the food, vibe, and customer service. I visited Junto some time in February, and I can't stop thinking about it. (I think about it too much that I decided to make a review). I highly recommend for every couple who wants to go on a little date night or even just a casual hang out with a friend! You can even go by yourself! ✨

Junto is a great new spot in Bontonville, good for locals and visitors alike. At my 5:30pm reservation, the restaurant was completely packed (which I took as a good sign). The menu is large, and unless you’re a sushi expert id recommend asking the waiter to recommend some dishes. I did and the choices were wonderful! A good cocktail menu as well.

Food and service were both amazing! Would go again for sure. Would recommend the rock shrimp for an appetizer, and the lemon salmon.

Wow, this place is outstanding. Exquisite fine dining atmosphere and the food is high quality for sure. We dined with some friends on this night and this is a great place for shareables. The menu is very impressive and options are ample so I'm confident you will certainly find something you love here. Our server was extremely nice and helpful but given my lack of familiarity with some of the menu I felt like I could benefit from a video tutorial, ha! That being said, it definitely piqued my curiosity and I hope to return many more times, whether to try some of the same or all different dishes. We all left happy campers.

Absolutely wonderful dinner and amazing service at Junto Sushi in Bentonville! Since I’m pretty new to Japanese cuisine, our server Penelope was incredible—she gave a clear, enthusiastic explanation of the menu, answered all my questions, and suggested some perfect dishes along with a delightful wine pairing that complemented everything beautifully. We started strong with the Yellowtail Carpaccio—super fresh thin slices with serrano pepper, cilantro, classic ponzu, and a bright orange oil drizzle that made it pop. The Sotobara roll was bold and packed with flavor (flank steak, shrimp tempura, and more—such a satisfying mix of textures!). And the Kaisen Fried Rice with Blue Crab was absolutely addictive—fire roasted cherry tomatoes with delicious toppings we couldn’t stop eating. For dessert, the chocolate Namelaka was the perfect ending: ultra-creamy, silky-smooth, and just the right rich chocolate indulgence without being too heavy. Assistant manager Luke stopped by our table several times to check in and make sure we were enjoying ourselves—it really made the evening feel special and welcoming. Highly recommend Junto Sushi for anyone new to Japanese food or just looking for top-notch dishes with attentive, friendly service. We’ll definitely be back!

We celebrated our anniversary at Junto and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion, and everything we ordered was spot-on. We shared the crispy rice, Baja California roll, rainbow forest roll, and the Karaage chicken—all were absolutely delicious, with great presentation and bold flavors. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, and the service was impressively fast. Highly recommend for a special night out or anytime you’re craving high-quality sushi and small plates!

Looks really nice inside, great service and very high quality food. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions on food and drinks. As per her, most of the fish is imported from Japan. The general manager stopped by at the table to check that everything was good.

This was perhaps the best dining experience we’ve had in quite some time. We were greeted by, what I believe was the Manager, who was very warm and started a friendly conversation while the host was getting our reservation updated. That was the first of an exceptional experience. We travel a lot for work and have been all over the country and EU and dine out frequently. To preface- I am an extremely picky sushi eater (not bc I don’t like sushi, but bc I have had VERY good sushi and have a very good palate for it). The sushi was only comparable to some of the best we’ve had in Miami, Paris and London at a fair price for the region and menu. TJ was our server and was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, warm, and very professional. Not just with us but I was watching his interactions with others as well. We started with cocktails (wine for me and old fashioned for the hub), then toro caviar service and the yellowtail carpaccio for apps (the caviar service was delish), we also had the salmon usuzukuri (the truffle ponzu is to die for). We had several pieces of nigiri that were fresh and delicious. We tried the rainbow forest Hakozushi (box sushi- not wrapped in seaweed) and rock shrimp. Everything was Top Notch! From the food, service, to drinks. Bravo, all around. Wish I took pictures of everything, but it was all so delightful. 👏 Will certainly be back!

From start to finish, Our experience at Junto was nothing short of incredible! Our server, Dylan, was such a breathe of fresh air! She guided us perfectly through the menu for being our first time. The hostesses greeted with warm kindness, The timing of the plates, the brilliant ingredient pairings, the ambiance matching the style of the dishes, EVERYTHING set the bar for what a lot of dining experiences are lacking lately and I cannot wait to come back and happy cry my way through the rest of the menu! BRAVO CHEFS! BRAVO DYLAN! BRAVO JUNTO TEAM!

The food is incredible and the atmosphere is really great. I wish they had plain sake but that’s okay, the cocktails were great and they have Japanese beer. Service was remarkably slow but didn’t seem to be an issue of the restaurant. Overall really great and definitely will be back.

Every single thing about this place is wonderful. The food is exquisite, literally everything we ordered was top notch. The churros for dessert were absolutely to die for. The truffle edamame are completely addicting, the sushi is the freshest and most delicious I have found here in Arkansas to date. The crispy rice appetizer was soooo good I cannot wait to go back and order more. The cocktails were amazing as well. The service, the vibe, everything was so wonderful. We celebrated a birthday here and it we couldn’t have asked for a better experience overall.

Update! After giving it a few months, I decided to go to Junto again to give it another shot. I have to say they have really gotten into their groove. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic! There is still small room for improvement, but I have confidence that they will get everything buttoned up quickly and they continue to get set up! First review: I wanted to be obsessed with this place so bad! I love sushi so much that I go at least once per week and was really looking forward to having a new go-to spot. The service was very slow, and our waiter didn't seem to know the menu too well. After ordering it took about 30 minutes to get our first beers and another 20 minutes for our food. There were a number of items messed up with our order, but everything was in fact delicious. I just kept thinking that the food wasn't worth the price... Almost $300 for two people. They are charging big town prices for a small town experience. I don't think the individual piece of sushi roll in one of my pictures looks like it belongs to a $15 roll. I know the place is new, so hopefully a few kinks will be worked out and we will try them again in a year.

Wow. Incredible sushi spot! The tiki bar outside is also great to grab a cocktail if you’re waiting for a table. Hospitality and vibe were impeccable. All the small plates and rolls were delicious. The Crispy Rice is a must. Rock Shrimp are also delicious and a larger portion size than we expected. Also, don’t pass up the Scallops. All-around incredible dinner experience with a great cocktail selection. Highly recommended.

We stopped in for the Walmart Museum, and happened upon the Junto experience! Located inside the Motto hotel, it’s got vibes until next month. What a feast for the eyes and the taste buds! V was super friendly, accommodating and attentive.

One of the best restaurants in Bentonville overall. Top tier food, service, and atmosphere. Everything on the menu is amazing, there’s no going wrong with it. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something fancy.

I loved Junto and I can’t stop thinking about our meal! Our server, Penelope, did an excellent job walking through the menu and giving recommendations. We had the rainbow forest roll, crispy fried rice, bao buns, and sotobara roll. We loved the unique flavor profiles of each item. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Wow! What an amazing place. The atmosphere is fresh and moody. The service was impeccable. The experience was so refreshing!!! My daughter and I sat at the sushi bar and had such a fun time watching the chefs in the kitchen / the bar make food. If you have a business dinner, date or just want to go somewhere that has 10/10 food and lovely staff, please make this your stop.

My fiance wanted to treat me to a nice dinner ans they did not disappoint! I got the "Panda Express" and it was an amazing rum cocktail. My fiancé got the "Lychee Martine" and for a vodka cocktail it was perfectly balanced and sweet. Our "Rock Shrimp" "Volcano Roll" and "Spider Roll" were so delicious. I left full and happy. Everything that came out was perfect. Thank you Earl for such a fun a dazzling night. We cannot wait to come back for this amazing food and perfect drinks!

Service was wonderful! Penelope was very knowledgeable about the menu and on top of everything. Food was great. We had the the shisito peppers, Kaisen fried rice, and Baja California roll. Everything was so delicious, lots of great flavors. Lychee martini was soo good!! Ambiance is great. Restaurant is beautiful, as well as the hotel, coffee shop, and bar! Felt very high end and nice.

I've had the opportunity to dine here twice now and the food is absolutely amazing!! From beginning to end delicious. Service the first visit was fantastic (they were less busy) and service the second time was still good just not as attentive as it was much busier. My new favorite restaurant; I can't wait to visit again!

Wow! My wife and I came to Junto to celebrate our 15th wedding Anniversary! From the moment you walk in with the hostess greeting us with a smile to our attentive, friendly server Quynn who spent time to walk us through the menu options and listen and make recommendations this team lives and breathes hospitality. Our favorite part of the night is how they made us feel with a hand written note signed by the entire staff. Thank u Junto team for making our night so memorable!!

For a special night with your someone, Junto Sushi in Bentonville is the spot. The Flaming Lips, with the infamous local Onyx Coffee, is a game-changer—pure bliss. Rainbow Forest dazzles with its fish medley, while the steak and lobster roll melts in your mouth. Arkansas-made sake is a fiery star, paired with stellar sashimi, salmon, and Kaisen blue crab rice. Mochi ice cream and the chef’s sponge cake with candy limes are divine. The bold Japanese Cowboy and top-tier sake selection make this a rare 5-star gem for a memorable date.

We had dinner at Junto on Saturday night after hearing several good reviews. I will admit that I was skeptical of a high end sushi restaurant in Arkansas but the meal was delicious. The sashimi and nigiri were fresh and top quality and the hot dishes were equally good. Favorites were the chicken teriyaki, yellowtail carpaccio (though this was too spicy for my husband), Baja California roll, crispy rice and kanpachi. Service was attentive and our order was coursed out evenly throughout the evening. The space itself had a great vibe and, as with every place we visited over the weekend, they had some great art. Would happily come back!

My wife and I had a fantastic date night here! Our server Vi was incredibly professional and super sweet! If you go here I highly recommend the churro for dessert. Without exaggerating, it was literally the best dessert I have ever had in my life...

We had a rocky start--I called ahead and asked about reservations and they told me they didn't take reservations and that we could walk in. We showed up about 30 minutes later and they let me know there would be a 3 hr wait for a table of 3. Yikes. We added our name to the list, and went somewhere else for a drink. About 45 minutes later, our table was ready and the manager, Dylan, and waitress, Joy, made our experience amazing. The food was amazing, and after sharing about the rocky start, they made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be returning for the food and the service!

Johnny was our bartender Saturday and waited on us Sunday morning. He is an incredible mixologist and was happy to explain the menu to us in levels beyond our comprehension. He asked us what our go-to drinks were and made some amazing recommendations. We had plans to stop by multiple restaurants and bars, but we ended up sitting at bar with Johnny for most of our first evening. 10/10 on every level. I’ll be recommending the Motto and Junto to all friends and family in Springfield as the place to stay and eat when in Bentonville.

Loni is amazing, they were very helpful and walked us through the menu. It was our first time ordering sushi so Loni helped us narrow down our choices. The food was delicious and despite not liking sushi, I enjoyed their chef special yellowtail. The valet members were also kind and helpful. We walked in at 5 on a Saturday and there were no tables available, but we were able to get a seat at the sushi bar and it was great.

Two unforgettable milestones, one incredible restaurant. Junto has affectionately captured our hearts and our stomachs! We have visited twice recently—once for our 1st anniversary and again tonight for our joint birthday celebration—and both experiences were nothing short of phenomenal. During our first visit, we were blown away by the "pops" of color and unique flavors in every dish. It’s the kind of food that leaves you wanting "just one more bite" of everything on the menu. Our server, Penelope, was the absolute star of the show. She guided us through the menu with such expertise, and her warmth and generosity truly elevated the evening. We didn’t stop talking about that meal for two weeks! We were thrilled to see Penelope again for our birthday dinner tonight, and somehow, the experience blew the first one out of the water. The Junto team went above and beyond with their hospitality, including personal touches like two handwritten birthday cards that made us feel so seen. The sheer generosity of the kitchen and the staff is unmatched in downtown Bentonville. Penelope is amazing, attentive, and makes you feel like the only people in the room. Junto has our hearts, and we can’t recommend them enough for your next special occasion!

We arrived about an hour before closing on a Sunday night and fortunately were able to get a table. The service was on point--everyone working together, polite and efficient. Our primary server, Dylan, was knowledgable and helped us navigate the myriad choices on their wonderful menu. The kitchen and bar were consummate professionals as well, bringing their 'A' game as we continued to explore the menu. Everything was delicious, but the sashimi was absolutely fantastic. If you like sushi, you will certainly enjoy this restaurant.

Junto was incredible! The beef boa’s were absolutely delectable and the menu is so impressive and unique, obviously crafted by culinary visionaries and experts. Our server, Vi, was so warming and personable! We even got two complimentary appetizers that were also incredible! The atmosphere at Junto was very modern and cozy feeling, and they added a super cute holiday touch for Christmas! 100% would recommend to any visitor, local, and sushi lover!

Traveling from Cali and this spot was in our hotel. Went both nights because we loved it so much. Fresh fish from Japan. Friendly staff. Delicious food. I got to splurge and eat gluten free churros. Happy tummies in a cozy, cool atmosphere.

Highly recommended if you're looking for an upscale Japanese restaurant. Food comparable to what I had on a trip to Japan. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very attentive to allergies and always ask about them when seating a table. Bar in the connected hotel has great drinks as well.

I've eaten at countless high end sushi/Japanese restaurants across the country, and Junto thus far, has made it to my top 3 sushi spots. Hands down the best, most satisfying short ribs I've ever had, and the Baja California roll was super delicious. I also appreciated the excellent hospitality I received from my server, Jackie. She was so helpful with guiding me through the menu and had such a great attitude during my visit here. This Dallas gal is impressed. Thank you so much, Junto!

Our experience at Junto was overall positive. We had an 8PM resy on a Monday night and were visiting town. The service and pacing was very disjointed and slow. No one took our order for about 30 minutes and then we ended up waiting for a while after eating to get dessert menus and the check as well. No one came by to ask if we wanted drink refills either. The quality of the food was pretty great, and on par with what we were expecting. We definitely did not leave hungry! The sashimi and nigiri were fresh and delicate, the rolls were thoughtfully crafted and we had a non-seafood eater in our group and they had plenty of equally yummy options for her. The short rib and karaage were a hit with the whole table. My personal favorite bites were the Black Magic with some ginger to brighten it up. Delicious! The pastries were really great as well. The pastry chef is quite amazing. The Hojimisu was a big hit at the table - Hojicha tea is super yum, but my personal favorite was ultimately the Mochurro. Light and fluffy on the inside and nice and crunchy on the outside. Had a perfect amount of integrity to not fall apart but still be delicate. The coconut ice cream was a really great pairing with these. Overall, would return and recommend!

M

Nice atmosphere, a little pricey. I wouldn't recommend it for a first time sushi stop, but more for those that are familiar already. My wife and I split the edamame, karaage chicken, and a tuna tataki roll. All was tasty, though I do wish they offered Sweet Iced Tea.

P

So to truthfully with my experience for those look for a great place for a date look no further. It can be quite expensive but it is worth it. The sashimi was flavorful with every bite I had it was pack with flavor the sashimi was rightfully cure right. Their roles were good they do have the basic and their warm dishes were a bang for your buck but I was their for the sushi I spent a good amount to test the place was quite worth the price. Their dessert selection was also a top notch menu with unique dishes. But, this is a place that is pricey and I would only recommend this place for dates or corporate meetings ups. Also for better direction look for a red door that’s the main entrance it’s connected to the hotel can be confusing easy to walk by it.

Fantastic and probably the best sushi in the area! Highly recommend going for special occasions and meaningful dates. There fish is very high quality and fresh. Some of their combinations can be a little intense but they're worth the exploration, you might find one you surprisingly love. The truffle sake was mine but there are other close seconds. Occasionally I felt the additions or sauces were too salty or potent, taking away from the fish rather than pairing. But if you're not a 'fish snob', or if you're newer to sushi, then this note might be null. And, there is a solid selection of classic sushi without the flair. The prices are high but if you are strategic and reserved you can knock it down a little. Was $300 for my wife and I to eat and get what we want (5 pieces of sushi, 0.5 appetizer, 1 desert, and 1 drink each). Note, we mostly got the specialty sushi. Good service but you're probably not gonna get sushi expert. A nice atmosphere but still feels noisy and busy. Can dress nicely. Nice bar outside the restaurant if you have to wait for a table. Overall, a solid 4 stars. 5 is perfect. I'm excited to go back but I will have to wait for a special occasion rather than a standard Friday night.

I’m so excited to see another upscale dining spot in Bentonville! We had a lovely dinner with a small group of friends last week and ordered a variety of dishes to share. Most of them were fantastic, and the volcano roll was a crowd favorite! The atmosphere is truly one of the best in NWA. That said, the service could use a little fine-tuning. We had to give a few reminders about our drinks and appetizers, and things took a bit longer to arrive than expected. I stopped by again this weekend for a drink at the bar, but after waiting about 15 minutes without being helped, we had to head out for our dinner reservation. I’m hopeful that with time, the service will catch up to the high quality of the food and ambiance. I’ll definitely be back, but might wait a bit for things to smooth out!

N
Nicole Brooks

Food was good. Service was bad, but we went the first night on a Friday so we expected this. Low rating is for the fact they’ve charged my husband’s account twice for the meal. When I followed up on Sunday (we noticed the second charge come through Sunday morning), I was told they didn’t know how to use their system and that I’d get a call back from Anthony once he got a chance to look at everything. It’s now Wednesday, and I’ve received no follow up nor any money back. I was also told by Anthony that “this is totally normal” when using a card somewhere. I assure you, it’s not normal to have money held hostage like this just trying to go out for dinner. I didn’t appreciate the patronizing tone and being laughed off. We now have to dispute the charge with our bank. We won’t be back despite the decent food. Not worth the money when combined with this hassle and bad service. Update: We received a refund and an apology from Anthony on Wednesday evening. We appreciate the efforts to make things right. Adding a star to reflect this.

Junto was a mixed experience for us. The ambience is genuinely great and the holiday decor added a nice touch, but the evening never really gained momentum beyond that. The food ranged from okay to pretty good. The Rainbow Forest hakozushi was the one item that stood out. Everything else we tried, including the rock shrimp, bao buns, and the rolls, was perfectly serviceable but nothing to get excited about. In a town with so many strong dining options in Bentonville, serviceable does not really stand out. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, but he seemed overwhelmed by how busy things were. Check ins were rare, and both times I needed a drink refreshed I had to call out as he was already walking away. Not terrible, but not what you expect from a restaurant presenting itself as a premium sushi experience. Regarding the seating, we arrived early and were placed at the table by the door in an almost empty dining room. I rarely ask to move, but it felt like a reasonable request in this situation. The hostess declined, explaining that large parties were coming. Over the next ninety minutes, several four tops seated small groups and others stayed empty, including some that could not even be pushed together for a larger party. It ended up feeling less like there was a real constraint and more like they simply did not want to move us because we had already been seated. It was a small thing, but allowing the change would have made the experience more enjoyable for us and felt like the kind of thoughtful touch that sets great restaurants apart. In the end, nothing about Junto was bad, but nothing really impressed either. Bentonville has too many exceptional dining options for pretty good to be enough. I am not upset that we went, but I would not choose to return when so many other restaurants consistently deliver a truly memorable experience.

M
Mary

I don’t like the food here. Service is also slow. Not sure why this restaurant has such a high score. The chicken is clearly overcooked and not well done. The restaurant didn’t charge it. The salmon is also overcooked, but we had it. The fried rice has many little balls that are not thoroughly fried…

A
Abril Martinez

The dimly lit restaurant and pretty decor can’t make up for the horrible service we received from our server Brooke. We were seated and then never attended to after that. We would be very understanding if she was busy with other tables but when we did see her she was just chilling at the sushi bar talking with her coworkers. Never did she come back to check on us or even take a drink order. It was very slow and she didn't seem to be taking care of any other tables. We waited for 20 minutes at the table before we decided to get up and leave. I’m very disappointed but also not surprised.

K
Kiley York

Unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Extremely small portions that are priced at a price point where you expect to receive good service and an elevated dining experience but you don’t. Bad service. Mid sushi at best. We don’t mind paying $200-$300 for date night if we get good service. If you want to dine somewhere where you pay for bad service and leave hungry this is a perfect spot.
