Stumbled upon this hidden gem today and had a magnificent lunch. The Casoncelli all Bergamasca was amazing, the Orechiete con cima di rapa was delicious, and the verdura del giorno were simple and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is calm and elegant and the staff managed to be friendly and act so much less rushed than they were. We'll be back as the menu changes weekly.

We went to Piero and Lella's and had a wonderful time! We ate really well—tasty, well-prepared dishes with generous portions. Had a lovely dinner at piero e lella ristorante. Located in a secluded courtyard away from the street the food was beautiful. It was aell priced and the service was amazing! Despite the language barrier our hostess took pains to ensure that we understood the menu. Our favourite dishes were the panna cotta and the rabbit. We also had a chickpea starter dish which was very tasty. Highly recommend!

Such a cute restaurant - we loved it. The lady working there was just so sweet and the chef came out to check in every table. It was a very cozy and delicious meal. She sent us some chickpea flower bread which was very yummy. We started out with the homemade pesto tagliatelle and mussels both were delicious. My partner had the beef cheeks and I had the rabbit (very good!!!!) enjoyed both very much and ended with the best tiramisu. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Well, I came back because I wanted to try the pizzas. They have an oven right at the door so you can see them making it. I like watching people make food so watching the chef preparing the pizza was fabulous. I was going to order takeaway at another restaurant but their service was rather unwelcoming so I came back to this restaurant. I was very welcomed by the waiter so I was glad I came back! They had the Menu in a number of languages like English, Italian, french and German which is exceptional! They had descriptions of the dishes which makes choosing a little hard because everything sounds amazing. I ordered the GIALLO E GUANCIALE pizza and I would like to say that it is the best pizza I have every had! I have nothing but compliments and I hope anyone who reads this will try this pizza too! It’s awesome. I don’t have a picture because I devoured the pizza too quickly but I do have a video of him putting it into the oven :)

A welcoming place in Bergamo where you can enjoy excellent food! Exceptional hospitality, unwavering customer service, and carefully crafted, tasty dishes. The homemade Sicilian bread is a real treat. Excellent value. Upon arrival, a cocktail and a small aperitif are served. Main courses always come with side dishes, so the portions are generous. At the end of the meal, we were treated to a small ricotta cannoli, a traditional biscuit, and a rosolio liqueur—all truly delicious!

Good Sicilan Food at very fair prices. The restaurant is a bit hidden in the back. Very nice interior, a short menu, but delicious delicious food. Will come here again when I am in Bergamo.

Ho mangiato molto bene, cibo di qualità e piatti curati. Tutto buono! Piero e Lella sono molto gentili e ospitali. Ambiente semplice e molto tranquillo. Da provare se non siete stati e nella lista di quelli dove ritornare per gustare altre pietanze.

Da segnalare la panissa fritta con accompagnamento di salumi misti ed i tipici casoncelli con burro, salvia e pancetta. Conto nella media.

Cucina Siciliana. L’ambiente è molto grazioso, e soprattutto regna il silenzio (salvo ovviamente il solito ganassa che sbroffa 😁). Vengono serviti, compresi nel coperto, un aperitivo, delle patatine e degli stuzzichini. Il primo piatto è stato il più eccezionale che abbia mai avuto la fortuna di mangiare. Contorni di patate e zucchine allietano il tutto. Purtroppo questa zona è abbastanza povera di parcheggio; ma merita molto: soprattutto per i primi. Se vuoi mangiare un primo unico e diverso dai soliti, questo è il posto perfetto. I cibi proposti sono siculi così come il vino. Sicuramente si uscirà a stomaco più che pieno! Purtroppo quei pochi euro di differenza sono la causa della quinta stella mancante 😢: prezzo leggermente sopra la media.

A restaurant serving sophisticated and unusual dishes: the house-made Ligurian panissa appetizer; beautifully presented and flavorful brazino-stuffed ravioli with cherry tomatoes and Taggiasca olives; delicious agnolotti del plin with three roasts and braised meat sauce; and, as the icing on the cake, the pancetta-wrapped quail. The atmosphere is relaxing and intimate, nestled in the courtyard. The owners, a husband and wife team, are very welcoming and passionate. Prices are a bit high in the evenings, and the lunch menu is a business lunch.

Very cozy and nice place. Food is simple but very tasty. There is a service cost (coperto) that looks expensive but it is not! Actually it includes a welcome starter with a glass of sparkling wine and a selection of mini desserts and a glass of limoncello. We remain absolutely satisfied after our dinner. We will recommend this place to our friends.
