A hidden gem of a place. Fun little bar with a really cosy atmosphere. With a mix of regulars, locals and tourists. The piano player was super talented, and could sing and play just about anything. The server behind the bar was friendly, and was singing in-between serving, she had a great voice and a good chemistry with the pianists. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the neighbourhood. 🍻🎤🎹

Brandy’s is my go-to neighborhood bar. They have one of the best happy hours, the crowd is always friendly. The staff including the bartenders and performers are fenomenal and always make me feel at home.

But I must in order to thank the extremely talented piano player and singers for the most fun, unique New York experience. Bravo!

Coolest place ever!!!! Came here on a quick weekend trip to the city with a friend based on a recommendation and it. did. not. disappoint. The bartender was super friendly and lovely to chat with; he helped us figure out what to order since we were new to the alcohol scene! Once the music started, things got really crowded but in the best way possible! The energy was high, piano player was a stud, and I didn’t want to leave. Drinks were a little pricey and I definitely recommend getting there early if you want a seat but I couldn’t think of a more fun way to spend a Friday night.

What can I say??? Perfectly, quintessential New York institution. Such an amazing night. The pianist was absolutely brilliant and entertaining. We arrived very early, so I was able to capture the space empty. The history within Brandy’s walls…. I can only imagine. We’ll be back!!

This place is an institution on the Upper East Side and always a great time. We went when there was Elijah Caldwell on the piano and he was amazing - can’t recommend enough going back when he’s on the mic and keys.

This is a very small establishment and seating is limited so you really do have to get there early! The bar staff were fun and kept the drinks flowing! It's a local hotspot, the crowd were friendly and we enjoyed socializing with New Yorkers. This is a place to enjoy the music and you can sing along but the management do not like you to chat amongst yourselves. We observed the management getting their security to reprimand some people at the bar for talking, and we did not think they were being loud at all. So it's definitely more of a listen environment (nothing wrong with that) but important to note for your expectations before you take your group there.

The service at Brandy’s was beyond disappointing. The bartender with short hair and glasses was incredibly aggressive and unprofessional, creating a hostile environment for everyone in the room. She was snapping at people for no reason and making the entire night feel tense and uncomfortable. I won't be returning to a place that treats its paying customers like a nuisance.

Sadly, night at Brandy’s was overshadowed by the incredibly unprofessional behavior of the bartender with short hair and glasses. From the moment we walked in, she seemed irritated and dismissive, snapping at patrons and creating a really uncomfortable energy. At one point, she even raised her voice at a group near us who had done nothing wrong. It felt more like being in trouble at school than enjoying a piano bar. The performers were talented, but the hostile service made it hard to relax or have fun. Definitely not the welcoming vibe people were hoping for.

The bartender with short hair and glasses was shockingly rude and aggressive, repeatedly screaming at guests in a loud, condescending tone for no reason, even after they left. We were just there to enjoy the music and atmosphere, but her behavior made the whole experience tense and uncomfortable. It’s a shame, as the staff’s attitude completely ruined the night.

The bartender with short hair was unbelievably rude and unprofessional, raising her voice at customers for no reason and creating an uncomfortable atmosphere from the start. It felt like they were being scolded instead of served. Totally ruined what should’ve been a fun night out for them. Hospitality matters, and this place has none. Won’t be coming back.

Absolutely terrible experience at Brandy’s Piano Bar. From the moment we walked in, the bartender was shockingly rude, yelling at us instead of offering any sort of hospitality. She was super aggressive without any reason!!! The energy was aggressive and unwelcoming, which completely ruined the vibe. We came for a fun, relaxed night with music, but left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. There are plenty of great piano bars in NYC, this is *not* one of them. Would not recommend at all!!!
