Food is fresh and tasty, but parking can be difficult. Cheese and chorizo appetizer, pork, chicken, and desserts were great! And you won't break the bank either. 2024 update: really great, hidden gem, great service!

Really liked the food. An unexpected Gem on an awkward location. Parking is behind the two houses behind the restaurant and you kind of walk pass the front of the other houses to get to the restaurant. Accidentally found the parking lot. Service was great. Food was very good. Ambiance nice. Would travel here again.

It's a pretty place. All the dishes we had were tasty. They have a good parking lot in the back. The only problem we faced was that the place is not pet friendly. So, we had to keep our dog in the car while we ate.

Best mexican food in the area. Its tight inside, not very big. No reservations BYOB.

Called to order takeout, it was hard to get someone on the phone, no answer, then on hold over 10 minutes so hung up, tried again and finally got someone. The Jalisco combo was great, the tamales were possibly the best I’ve had, moist and tender inside with very good sauces. Chili relleno I wish was cooked less, the pepper had kind of dissolved. Puerco guisado tasted delicious, I just wish there was sauce because the flavor on the pork was amazing. Chicken soup was 10/10, hearty, completely full of veg and chicken. Portions are well worth price too.

Food was very good and well presented. The staff was very attentive, but it was a tad noisy and that’s why I didn’t rate the atmosphere 5 stars. We had the tacos chicken and beef fajitas. Both were very good and the sides were fresh. The guacamole was especially delicious.

3.5. I don't know why, but there are no extradinary Mexican Restaurants in NJ. The search continues! The food here is average, service is good, the staff is really nice. The decor is traditional, but the seating is on hard benches (so if you like/need cushion seating, take note). BYOB. They charge a ~3.7% credit card fee.

The place caught on our eyes while driving but the food and service sucked, The atmosphere was gorgeous but we felt rushed also the food was burnt and didn’t taste like Mexican food. For the price this place is not worth visiting, 159$ down the drain.

The food is very good. I have been coming here for a while now and the food was very inconsistent but it’s been really great for a while so I’m assuming there’s a new chef. BEWARE- the last couple of times, we were presented with a large bill and were not told that they’ve implemented a 3.5% service charge for debit/credit transactions and that NOW 20-25% gratuity is also added to all bills. Today I asked for the bill and handed in my card without looking and when I received the bill to sign the amount was a lot more than expected. I asked to see the itemized bill again (which was heavily modified and scratched out- i regret not taking a picture to post) and the amount was a whole $25.13 more that what they gave me to sign. Finally after a while of waiting for the server to explain the huge difference in price, we stopped another server who explained that 3.5% is added for cards and that gratuity may be added but could not tell me at what percentage. It’s SUPER SHADY!!!!! The receipt they bring you to sign has a tip section as if they’re not already charging it also. The food was good but I don’t trust that they are running a legit establishment here. When I asked for someone in charge, they said they have no managers on duty (on a Saturday!!!). Don’t trust them.

Food leaves much to be desired. Any tortilla chicken dish from burrito to enchilada is just a giant chunk of dry chicken breast with some tomato sauce on it wrapped in a tortilla. No flavor. Beans are basically the consistency of sauce and not very good. Ingredients are not fresh. Prices are far from cheap. The decor is really nice though and the Mexican cappuccino is alright.

Absolutely worst. Cheese and bean quesadilla was watery refried beans inside a soggy tortilla and no sight of cheese. We asked for vegetarian version of combo platter with cheese and onion enchiladas, burrito and taco. One of the enchiladas had stuffing; the other one was basically an empty tortilla. Bean burrito and taco were tortillas stuffed with that watery refried beans-no other toppings like cheese. When the server saw us investigating what we got, he simply shrugged his shoulder and walked away when we said the crispy taco was soggy tortillas and wasn’t what we expected. Salsa was watery with little flavor and chips tasted days old.
