it was a long day today at work and it was getting pretty late to prep any dinner. ive decided to stop by at nations for something quick. Shannel and Cynthia were both friendly and had excellent customer service! my burger, grilled cheese and my oreo milkshake came out delicious! shoutout to them!

Nation’s has always been a staple for me since I was little. My grandparents always took me here, so it holds a lot of great memories. The prices are a bit higher than places like McDonald’s or Burger King, but the quality of the food is so much better and totally worth it. The workers are always friendly and welcoming. I had the pleasure of being helped by Socorro this time, and as always, she was so kind and attentive. And of course, you can’t forget the pies; they’re absolutely amazing!

I’ve been coming to Nation’s in Berkeley for years, and it never disappoints. The burgers are juicy and perfectly grilled, the fries are crispy, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. And don’t even get me started on the pies — the banana cream and chocolate cream are absolutely amazing. Perfect spot for a casual lunch or a late-night bite!

This is my to go place to get a full up and great service. Love that they open at 6AM so I can order my 1 egger breakfast and still have time to go to work. At times, there are unhoused members who "hang" out and get pester you but generally they leave you alone. Socorro when she hears the door opens greets you even if she's buttering toast, prepping a to go order. She's always friendly and attentive. Great service Socorro and the food is the best!!!!

Maria & Juan helped with my order and provided me excellent service. I ordered the patty melt for the first time and it did not disappoint. Buttery and cheesy. Today’s lunch was a 10/10.

Nations has great burgers, and I especially like their BLT. They are also known for their pies, which they have many kinds to choose from, and you can get a whole pie, or by the slice. The biggest problem with this Nations is that they’re always a bunch of sketchy people hanging around both inside, and outside. They also often leave the doors open and so it can be quite cold inside. But it is one of the few places open pretty late in Berkeley so it’s a good choice if you’re looking for something at midnight.

I had the worst experience ever in this Nation’s I called several times. No one answered. I checked the web. It said they were open till 130. I got here and the people say the cashier is on lunch. She still has 10 more minutes. They did not take my order or anything until the cashier got back. Sad.
