We came here for dessert and we got the ube milk with boba and the thai tea crepe cake. The ube milk had a great flavor and this was some of the softest boba I have ever had, which I really enjoyed. The crepe had a great thai tea flavor and it was moist. I am excited to come back and try more of the crepe cakes!
I've been to the one in San Francisco, so I expected this spot to be just as packed. To my surprise it wasn't, which is really nice. Busy but not packed. I wanted to show U :Dessert Story off to my husband, and he was impressed with the atmosphere, the cute set up, and the beautiful mural. We got a cake trio. It was all so delicious, the Thai was my husband's favorite, mine was all three (I'm not picky, he is). I totally recommend U :Dessert Story even for the little the Volcano Bingsu was a big hit with all four of my kids, the presentation is beautiful (we had this in Frisco). We'll definitely be back to try some of the drinks and food soon.
We got Mango sticky rice Bingsu, Ube Bingsu, young coconut pandan, and lychee cheesecake. The store was great and staffs were nice. I highly recommend Mango sticky rice with extra mango. You can smell the pandan from the cake which is great, I really like the coconut sauce on it. The Ube Bingsu was alright compare the foods we tried. Overall, great spot to try dessert. :)
I took my daughter to this place for the first time and we both loved it! We got seated almost immediately and after we ordered our food came in less than 10 minutes! We ordered the fried calamari and mango sticky rice, it was so good! I would definitely come back here!
I recommend the Thai tea bingsu, which has a strong Thai tea flavor and is perfect with salted cream, nuts, and boba! I also recommend the coconut pandan crepe cake! It has a strong pandan flavor and coconut, and is very smooth.

The desserts were incredibly tasty and the quality was really good. Though it was crowded and a bit pricey, the unique and flavorful desserts made it a worthwhile special treat.

The U’s Signature Cake Sampler is an edible art gallery—every slice a burst of flavor and texture. The Cherry Blossom Smoothie tastes like sipping spring, while the Lychee Matcha Fauxito is a refreshing matcha-lychee-mint symphony. Beautiful, creative, and absolutely addictive—5/5!
Attentive service, great ambiance/vibes. Cant believe it’s open until 1am some nights! I’ve only tried the mango sticky rice Bingsu, which was good, but I didn’t realize how big it was! Definitely could share between 2-4 people. Main reason I won’t be able to come back often is the high price point. Our desserts were more expensive than our dinner earlier that night.
I visit this spot every time I want to treat myself after completing a stressful semester. Every time I get the mango sticky rice toast and it’s absolute perfection! It comes with a side of pandan coconut sticky rice and mango sauce, but I always ask for the coconut sauce instead because the coconut sauce is better, and traditionally mango with sticky rice is served with the coconut sauce, not mango sauce. I tried deviating for my usual once, and I ordered the salted egg yolk toast and I wasn’t impressed. 4 stars because it is pricey, and the mango sticky rice toast should be served with coconut sauce.
Dark warm melty chocolate cake is high quality. Matcha ice cream is relatively consensed and matching with dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is not too sweet. When I lived in Tokyo, I ate the same desert. I think dark chocolate quality is the same or more high quality. Service is fast and kind during restaurant is busy. Dark light is good. Little expensive but it's worth to have good experience.
We ordered 18 layer Crepe cake w coconut extra. One drink and a fried tempura. Food looks pretty but I think it’s really overpriced. Over $60. I think it’s way too pricey and the quality of service doesn’t match the food, plus we just self ordered w our phones
Today, I had a wonderful time with my friends! We indulged in some delicious treats, including Honey Brick Toast for $20.00, Tempura Shrimp for $13.00, Cheese Fries for $14.00, and a refreshing Thai Tea drink for $6.50 with lite ice. We also tried a delightful Fired Boba Brown Sugar for $7.50 and ended our meal with Mango Sticky Rice Bingsu for $22.00. Although the place was a bit bustling, we made the most of it by sitting at the counter. Sharing our food was a little tricky, but we managed just fine! The restaurant, while small, was beautifully decorated and exuded a cozy atmosphere that made our experience even more enjoyable. It was definitely worth it!
Very cute little shop to grab dessert at. It was very easy to walk in and get a seat, they immediately brought us water and informed us how to view the menu. We had the Double Fromage Lychee Cheesecake and the Hojicha Banoffee. The presentation was great and the flavor was really excellent. This is not a complaint, but the slices are big! The lychee cheesecake is Japanese style so very fluffy and light with a very flavorful lychee ice cream. The banoffee crust was perfectly browned and caramelized. Service was prompt and attentive even for just dessert!
What a great place to grab dessert! This place is popular, at least it was the night I went. This place was packed and did have a little short wait. But I understand why. The staff was efficient. But the food is where you get to brag. Their Milo cheese drink, flippin’ delicious, of course simple but with their spin, is awesome. I also tried my first brick toast, and I didn’t realize it would taste this good. You figure its only just toasted bread; how good could it be? But it was great as well. The Bingsu was top notch as well, the simplicity but all the add-ons make is flavorful ride. Crepe cakes slices are my favorite, love crepes and love thai tea. Even though we came for desserts, I did see they offer savory foods as well. As far as parking goes, I’m sure it’s busy depending on the day and time. I came to this place on scooter, so if you’re game, have fun on your way there and treat yourself to something sweet!
It was a quaint restaurant. I am very picky when trying new foods, but found that the menu was succinct enough to understand what was in each dish. I got the cheesecake sampler. I wish that there were tiers to the sampler, as I was just one person enjoying the sampler in my party, the portions were a little bit too large. It was good though and I will be back for the mango cheesecake at a later date.
These bingsoo flavours are absolutely delicious- whoever came up with them is an absolute genius. They come with condensed milk on the side too so if you don’t have a massive sweet tooth you can skip it- the syrups on the ice are already pretty sweet. Our server was also very attentive- she knew we wanted to order the shaved ice after our potato wedges so she came to take our order when she noticed us finishing our food. I’ve seen lineups outside but I’ve never had to wait long myself. On the pricier side but I’m definitely coming back.

The boba drinks were great, but service to be seated and take orders was really slow. Like 10 minutes to be seated (no wait) or 20 minutes to take our order. They need to get more staff for waiting tables in the restroom. The tables are really cramped and close together, although there was a bar area (that no one was seated at).
My friends and I enjoyed the ambiance, and the presentation of the desserts was visually appealing, as you can see from the pictures. However, the taste and overall quality didn’t quite meet our expectations; the desserts didn’t feel very fresh. Considering the price point, we felt there were better options available elsewhere. The service was fine, but nothing particularly exceptional given the gratuity that was charged.
The cake was a bit dry, and it was overall just average. The service was fantastic and attentive, the vibe and the overall restaurant was quite cute. I unfortunately won’t be returning, but overall it’s a 3/5 for me.
Delicious desserts, but overpriced. The desserts here are exceptional, especially their Spicy Out Summer Bingsu, which has such a unique flavor, but the dishes are on the more expensive side with smaller portion sizes. I do appreciate that they offer vegan bingsu options and are accommodating for substitutions even when you order through the app, but the other bingsu flavors are a little bland and the price for their slices of crepe cakes are much too high. Haven't tried any of their snacks, but probably won't try again based on the price.
I recently visited this dessert place, and it was quite an experience. The space is huge and bustling, but the noise level was pretty overwhelming – not the best spot if you're looking for a quiet treat. The portions are generous, so you definitely get a lot for your money. However, the quality didn’t fully meet expectations; the desserts were average and didn’t stand out as much as I’d hoped. Additionally, everything was super sweet for my taste, which might not be ideal for those who prefer a subtler sweetness. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're looking for a quick, sweet fix in a lively setting, but probably not worth a special trip

We went here to get some dessert, we chose the take out option since we thought it would be quicker. Wrong. We waited maybe a bit more than half an hour for our order and the worst thing is that the restaurant is not set up in a way that people can wait for their food comfortably. It was either waiting standing inside uncomfortable or sitting outside on the cold. They definitely need to improve their sitting arrangements. The be matcha was not good, the mango sticky rice smoothie was around 6.5/10, and the honey bread was not good and honestly just tasted like sweet bread. With the price I would expect better, probably consider going somewhere else for dessert.

I can not recommend this place! Shaved ice served with various small portions of common toppings assembled to look unusual is such a gimmick. But this series of restaurants seem to get a fallowing. So imagine shaved ice you get in Hawaii with toppings. U:Dessert Story serves it up with ingredients separated in small containers for you to reassemble and make a tremendous mess in a nicer environment. As a hard working member of society U:Deserve Better
