Great sushi! Loved the dim sum app to share! Food was delectable. My small child ordered chicken lo main which even though no kids menu she had a few options to choose from. The servers were pleasant and attentive. They even gave my graduating senior a dessert with a candle!

I have nothing but positive things to say about NECTAR. Bob is great and has served us a few times. He’s incredible at his job and compliments the atmosphere and food well. I had one time where the lamb was cooked a tad more than I would’ve like but nonetheless it was still great! The venison they serve from New Zealand is to die for as well!

Service is excellent, and food to match. Little pricey, but expected for this caliber of food and Service. No, it's not all about sushi, there are several other dishes that were excellent. The best "value" may be the desert menu, do look at it. Parking and access to the restaurant is good. Bathrooms are clean, and observed one of the workers washing their hands like a surgeon - excellent! Please enjoy your food & the ambiance, leave your double mask at home. Will be back.

Another day, another trip to the suburbs of Philly to try a different sushi place located in Berwyn, PA. The dishes were lobster sliders, oysters, lobster fried rice and a sushi assortment and as always uni. Food was great, lobster was great, and the drinks were amazing. Finished off with the other happy ending espresso martini 😉🤤🍸

🍱 Nectar - Berwyrn - It's been a long time since we came here - it such a great place for date nights, special occasions, large groups, sushi snobs and wine snobs. They have a very large wine menu and great sushi selection. Their food is a fusion of east and west (but more of a Japanese focus). Their atmosphere is upscale zen, very beautifully appointed large dining area with large buddhas at various places. We got the dim sum appetizer for 2 - the edamame dumpling was the standout here - just scrumptious! We got the jalapeno-infused pineapple martini and a I think a sake-lychee drink - both very tasty. 🐠 For entrees, 🦐 the amish chicken with rock scrimp with lime and jalapenos and the tea-smoked salmon with pureed parsnips - the salmon dish was absolutely outstanding with smokey flavors and is worth coming here for this dish alone. For dessert, the chocolate valrhona tart ( you had me a valrhona! ) and the chocolate dome - I think straberry mousse covered with chocolate. The tart made our knees buckle. Our server was attentive and very friendly. 🍰 I put on our Open Table reservation that it was our anniversary and didn't have to remind anyone and they brought little chocolate signs on our desserts celebrating that... very nice touch since usually when I note a special occasion in the reservation form it is never acknowledged. A very memorable and delicious meal in a beautiful dining room with really beautiful plating (I am such a sucker for a nicely plated dish!) I usually like to nitpick on my reviews so people don't think they are fake or I am being comped ( I wish!!!) but it was really flawless on so many levels ( taste, plating, decor, atmosphere, service) ... thank you to the staff at Nectar! You guys are awesome!

Wonderful meal — great sushi/sashimi, cheesecake, spring rolls and dumplings, lo mein — really everthing was just delicious. Amazing service. Highly recommended!

Nectar is a great experience. Our server was fantastic and I highly recommend the cocktails. It’s fine dining and does come with a hefty price tag, so be prepared. The food was excellent. Ambiance is very nice but it does get loud (lots of mainliners).

I’m not a big sushi person, but this spot may have changed that, the spicy tuna and the King Kong rolls were tasteful and fresh. The dessert was also very unique and delicious. Staff were outstanding as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Went on a Date here and it was beautiful. The menu is a culinary delight, showcasing beautifully plated dishes and a well-curated wine selection. Attentive service adds to the romantic ambiance, making it an ideal destination for a memorable romantic evening.

Very good food, service is up to par, and they will accommodate large groups, highly recommend their ribeye if you’re really hungry, and the bento box if you’re looking to try an assortment of rolls and dumplings

Nectar is our #1 choice for fresh sushi on the Mainline. We've been coming here for the past 20 years. The Nectar sushi rolls are always fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. Bob and the rest of the team provide a 1st class service. These guys are the best. This is the best restaurant on the Mainline. Highly recommend! :-)

Stellar service and amazing food! Had the vegetable spring rolls, edamame pot stickers, burrata, bento box and Nectar Dessert. For my cocktail I had the whiskey blueberry special cocktail.

I Got takeout from here, I was really impressed everything was really nicely packaged. They give you enough wasabi and ginger. I really liked it wasabi was formed in a leaf. One thing that I really like about this restaurant is they didn’t put some dishes/sushi that I ordered and I didn’t have to call them they just ended up crediting my account. Which I thought was really Nice of them. I really enjoyed the spicy tuna rolls it didn’t have a ton of rice on it, also the rice tasted really good. Didn’t taste old. I am definitely coming here again

My wife and I made the right choice to celebrate our 48th Anniversary at Nectar. The staff was professional and patient and answered all our questions - we'll be back!

Great Asian infused menu. The food was delicious. My server as very courteous and pleasant. I would defintely be going here again. Great dining experience.

Me and my boyfriend come here a couple times a year but last night was extra special! I got the best ribeye steak I have ever had. Our server Will was very helpful and kind. Come here and you will not be disappointed. Thank you NECTAR for giving us a special anniversary dinner.

We came here for my daughter's SWEET 16 dinner. Everything from start to finish was perfect and sweet! Five stars all around!

It’s usually a bad sign when a restaurant offers cuisines from several different countries, but I was blown away by everything about Nectar! Great service, great food. Elevated but not stuffy. I’ll definitely be back.

The food was fantastic. I had a venison entree that was the special. Wow it was amazing. The service was a little slow but I was part of a large group so it was expected. The wait staff was attentive and helpful.

We’ve been huge fans of Nectar for years. Henry and Team are absolute rock stars!! We can say enough about our server Bob who was attentive, knowledgeable, and super charismatic. We’ll be back again and again.

My husband and I went to Nectar for the first time Friday for an early Valentine's Day dinner. The restaurant is very beautiful inside with elegant and chic decor. While the open part of the restaurant is a little noisy, it wasn't so noisy as to prevent us from chatting. Our server - Wills was fabulous - attentive, informed and pleasant - great with recommendations. The menu had lots of opportunity cost -- hard for us to decide what we wanted. Our drinks, appetizers, mains and desserts were so beautiful and delicious. I was so enamored, I forgot to take photos! Definitely will be back.

We recently visited for the first time (after driving by for years) and were immediately impressed with the atmosphere and service. The bartender explained the menu in detail when we asked for recommendations. When the food came out, we were pleasantly surprised again. Everything in the Dim Sum Bento was delicious, followed by the Sushi Bento to get a taste of the menu. Highly recommended!

Let me start by saying that I had the beef tenderloins with bok choy and I was able to cut the meat with a butter knife! Great food, great staff and great ambiance. I went on NYE with my family and it was jam packed! Be smart and make a reservation like I did, even if it's not a holiday. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the lobster dumpling. It wasn't soft like you'd expect a normal dumpling to be. I had to cut it with a knife. Overall, the portions are great and the old fashioned that I had was perfect! I will return.

The food was good, but it was somewhat pricey. There are lunch options available, and the portions are large.

This beautiful restaurant is located on a Lancaster ave.The parking situation is valet which is perfect, because there are few other options. We came in bit earlier and wanted a drink at the bar but bar was filled with patrons. Matre' dee sat us right away. We walked into a beautiful open air space, beautifully decorated and very lively.The signature drink menu is extensive as well as choice of wines, sake and beers. The menu has something for everyone. Vast choices of sushi creations and traditional plates Asian inspired .We enjoyed red curry chicken wontons as appetizers ,followed by amazing main course of Salmon which was smoked with tea leaves and had delicious smokey flavour. Desert that we shared was incredible peach ice cream layered with cookies. Service was prompt and well paced . I would recommend this restaurant

Was really looking forward to this one. The ambience was great and the owners and waiters are really hospitable. Food failed to live up to the expectations. The bento appetizer was ok. The dumpling section in the bento was good. The calamari was not brown crisp probably because it was dipped in rice batter. The entree was ok. And the bento box dessert was also ok . Not worth the price.

We had a tasty dinner at Nectar! They have a great wine list and sake selection. The food presentation is a delight with nice flavor combinations. It's a bit pricey for asian food but keep in mind the ingredients are not standard fare. Go for the experience or as a special occasion!

It’s a good place probably overpriced for what it gives. Service okay but food is decent. Drinks were great food was good. But we would return service could be a little more attentive for price point.

This was my husband and I first time visiting this restaurant. The ambience is really beautiful. It’s definitely a place to take someone on a nice date. We started with two old fashions, and it tasted as though it was watered down. It was not strong as an old fashion should be. For appetizers, we ordered the dim sum bento of dumplings which were hit or miss, because some tasted as though it was fried in old oil. We also ordered the sushi which was really good. No complaints. For the entrée, we ordered the wild boar noodle dish, which was very tasty as well. However, I would have liked the wild boar to be more pronounced. It was really thin pieces. We also ordered the steak filet which was good but for the price I wish it would have came with a vegetable. My favorite of everything was the dessert. Overall the food was ok but I think the you are really paying for the ambience.

Came here on a weeknight. First they sat us at a table for two next to a loud pair of people talking so I requested we be moved away from them to a booth table against the wall. I actually wouldn’t have minded the talking, except that my laminated menu also kept sticking to the glass table top probably from just having been wiped down, but as this was not a fast food restaurant, patrons should be seated at dry tables. Ordered the dim sum bento box for two, vegetarian wild mushroom pad thai and saffron infused basmati fried rice. The dim sum bento box appetizer was very good. My mushroom pad thai was also good, but I actually felt kind of full after the bento box appetizer. Bougie and slightly overpriced, it’s still a nice establishment and they didn’t skimp too much on the restaurant design.

We went for dinner last night and unfortunately were disappointed. The fried dumplings were okay, but the Brussels sprouts were over-burnt. We ordered the Sea Salt-Crusted Shrimp & Beef Tenderloin salty and lacked real flavor. The Pineland Farms Natural Braised Short Ribs was ok. For the price, we expected much better.

Valentine's dinner 2026 with my wife - you go in expecting to be packed in like sardines so I won't fault the establishment. We had a very nice server. Ordered the "special, 'Seafood Bento for 2, $48'" which was interesting but really, really, small portions. Also didn't know what anything was so an explanation would have been helpful - what i think may have been the spring roll fell apart when trying to grab it with chopsticks. I ordered short rib which was probably two pieces of chuck roast but was tender and had ok flavor - the potatoes were pretty bland and aside from garnish there was no veggie for texture. Wife ordered scallops which were cooked perfectly but served over bland slightly undercooked risotto. We split chocolate cake which really wasn't but just a chocolate desert and didn't have the chocolate flavor we were looking for... Overall it was a serviceable meal but rather expensive for what you got - small portions and nothing that really "wowed".

Not really that great considering the cost. You are paying for atmosphere and "being seen" only. The salmon was farm-raised and the crab roll was only 6 pieces. For $19 each I had much higher expectations. The pork bun was good though, however still expensive for what you get. $110 for a sub-par meal for two. Also, the valet parking is ridiculous. Really frustrating they don't let you park yourself. I don't think I'll return since there are many different options nearby that are both more affordable and better quality.

Ordered my favorite dish (Tenderloin wok chili) for takeout today. Asked for it to be extra spicy and to cook hot red chilies into the dish. Got it home and there no spice and the beef actually seemed to be a lesser grade than what is served in the restaurant. Very disappointing!!

Disappointing decline from past visits. We’ve been loyal customers for years and always enjoyed exceptional food and attentive service. This visit was a sharp departure. We cycled through multiple servers during our meal with no apparent coordination between them. Each seemed unaware of what the others had done, leading to repeated questions, forgotten requests, and long waits between courses. The disorganization created a confusing, disjointed experience that felt dismissive at times. The appetizers were the highlight, but our entrees arrived bland and under seasoned, surprising given the restaurant’s usual high standards and premium pricing. We still tipped appropriately because we understand current industry challenges, but the experience fell well short of what we’ve come to expect here. Hoping this was an off night rather than a permanent shift in quality.

Went there for a family celebration and wasn’t happy as I was when I went there a year ago. The venison meal was cold, the “pancake” that was supposed to come with the fried rice was a flour tortilla. Dessert was ok . Staff was good

The valet lost my car key and left us stranded for almost an hour. The manager did step in and do everything they could. They called an Uber and said they would make it right. The key was eventually found, apparently in someone else's car. All we got was a measly $20 gift card. The food was fine. Some items like the pork dumplings tasted like they came from a frozen bag, whereas the edamame dumplings were great. The lobster wok dish was not very good. The lobster was very overcooked. Atmosphere was loud and the tables were very tight. I could reach my arm out and take food from the neighboring tables if I wanted to.

My family and I have been coming to Nectar for over a decade, and tonight was by far the worst service we have ever experienced here — or anywhere in Wayne — and it came down to one server. From the moment we were seated upstairs, he was rushing us. We were told they couldn’t pan-sear our dumplings (something we’ve ordered for years), which I could’ve understood if the kitchen was busy — but the service that followed made it obvious the issue wasn’t the kitchen, it was our server. We didn’t receive drink menus until after we had finished our appetizers. (I had to ask for them) We weren’t given dinner plates at all until I had to ask when the entrées arrived. And when I asked for dessert menus, he told us to “finish our food first.” At that point, we left without dessert. The busser and other staff were kind and professional — the complete opposite of the treatment we received from our server so I left a regular tip but I felt compelled to write this review I usually don’t do this. For a $75+ per person dinner, this type of service is unacceptable, and it reflects extremely poorly on the restaurant to have someone like this representing them. After coming here for over a decade, tonight was the first time we felt unwelcome — and the first time we left feeling genuinely disappointed. Management needs to take a hard look at who they’re putting in front of long-time customers.

I was just here with for my brothers birthday - we had 3/4 waiter/watress, one of our spouses would say her order and the waiter would just walk away. I travel the entire world, and have never been so disrespected in terms of service in regards to what this establishment asks for. The only quality aspect of this dinner was the pork dumplings, and a cold glass of water. Do not go here.
