I went around lunch time and got this amazing drink and the cauliflower tacos at the bar! I work in the service industry and know good service looks like and our bartender Lily was a gem! I never really write reviews but she was very helpful and patient while explaining the menu as it was my first time! Definitely will be coming back soon.

My wife and I stopped her while we were in exton. Overall a great experience and the food was delicious. Great menu selection, nice and clean restaurant, and great service. We ordered the French onion soup and potato soup, both were full of flavor and top notch. My wife ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and I ordered the French dip. The salad had a pesto twist with sun-dried tomatoes which she loved. The French dip was also well cooked and hit the spot. We will definitely stop here again if we are in the area.

Nine of us came here for dinner after seeing a movie. The server was very friendly knowledgeable of the menu and attentive . I had the chop house burger. I had moderately high expectations for this burger. It was edible. But by far the greasiest burger I’ve had perhaps ever. My bun was so soggy it was falling all apart. Truly no flavor to the burger. I didn’t complain or anything. I ate it. Just won’t order that again. The good, everyone else’s meals came out very pleasing. The fish, salads and tacos were all enjoyed. The atmosphere is very clean, relaxing, and farmhouse modern. Another plus is they offer nonalcoholic beers by athletic, which I haven’t seen at other restaurants so props to them.

Rick was an amazing server. He was efficient, and friendly. Food was excellent and drinks were phenomenal. 100% recommend.

Good food, good service and an amiable gathering place. I highly recommended the baked onion soup, it's very tasty with its decent serving size. The ChopHouse burger was cooked just right and the fish taco was very good. Our server was friendly and efficient. The prices were reasonable, and this is definitely a break from all the surrounding bar and grill places with wall-to-wall monitors that you encounter nowadays.

Our 1st time at CH!! What a great find. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server Jen was excellent. She was so attentive to anything that we needed. She was great. My husband had the calamari which he said was the best he has had in a long time I had crabcakes which were delicious. My husband had prime rib he inhaled. He loved it so much. Everything was fresh. I’m not sure if it’s a scratch kitchen, but it was delicious.

I cannot say enough great things about the food, experience, and staff at the Chophouse Grille. Service was amazing, especially Natalie, who made sure to check on our table to make sure we were having a positive experience. I can’t wait to go back. I also highly recommend the Lavender Martini.

They properly cooked our steaks. This is an extremely high compliment now a days. Most restaurants do not have competent cooks. This spot does. And food service too. Highly recommend stopping in if your in the area.

Had dinner first time this evening, best Pittsburgh medium steak I have had a quite some time. Crab cakes excellent, cheese board not as good, would have liked a better variety of cheese. Hummus app was delicious. Did not feel rushed, enjoyed the evening.

We had an amazing experience at Chop House thanks to Deyon! He provided phenomenal service — extremely friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable about the menu. His suggestions were spot on and truly enhanced our dining experience. We will definitely be back and hope to be served by Deyon again!

We had a nice family dinner! Everything was top notch. Natalie (manager, I think) introduced herself to us just to make sure everything was good. Our waitress was delightful, too!

Dining at ChopHouse Grille was already shaping up to be a great night—but the braised short rib took it to an entirely different level. It was fall-apart tender, rich, perfectly seasoned, and honestly one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after the plate is cleared. Comforting, elevated, and cooked to absolute perfection. That said, the experience would not have been what it was without Kelsey, our server. She was nothing short of phenomenal. Attentive without hovering, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about making sure we had the best possible experience. Every recommendation she made was spot on, her timing was flawless, and her energy truly elevated the entire meal. It’s rare to say this, but the night was made solely better because of her. Great food is one thing—exceptional service like Kelsey’s is what turns a dinner into a memory. ChopHouse Grille is lucky to have her, and we’ll absolutely be back, hoping she’s the one taking care of us again.

Absolutely love the Chop House! Great food and exceptional service! The managers (Mo, Natalie, Katie and Lexie) at Exton’s CH at top notch and do such a great job! The Chop House kindly hosts a Dine to Donate event for my nonprofit rescue organization once a month and it’s been such a blessing for my organization, Noah’s Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary!! We cannot thank them enough!! Highly recommend giving this restaurant if you haven’t already!! Their cocktails are great too!! Give their Smoked Old Fashioned a try!

I had such a lovely experience here. I ordered the miso glazed salmon and although it took longer as it was busy I felt comfortable as my server, Julia, was very alert for the food to be ready and checking on us making sure we were enjoying our time. Not only was the food excellent, the server very funny, but the ambiance was amazing. My daughter always recommended and I’m so glad I got to go! This won’t be my last time here, very positive experience:)

Top marks. Chop House Grille is one of our favorite local restaurants. Whether looking for a casual weeknight meal or celebrating a special occasion, it's perfectly suited for both. The atmosphere is relaxed but refined. The cocktails are on point and the wine menu is robust. As for the foos, it's good across the board. Whether you want a perfectly cooked steak, delectable pasta, or symptoms fish. The menu has something for everyone. Don't miss dessert either, there is always something delicious to cap off the perfect meal. Just make sure you make reservations, as this is a very popular venue.

I ate at the Chophouse in exton & I think I found my new favorite restaurant. I got the Buffalo flatbread & holy moly it was delicious. The staff there were all so nice, especially the manager. I brought my toddler there and she was so accommodating (my daughter has food allergies) and we were actually able to order something for her because of Natalie! Highly recommend!

Deyon was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, his recommendations were spot-on, and everything arrived exactly as ordered. He checked in at the perfect times without ever being intrusive and kept the experience smooth from start to finish. Deyon’s professionalism and positive energy truly elevated our visit. service like this is why we’ll be coming back.

Everything was wonderful! One of our kids meals took too long and without us having to say anything, the GM came over and not only took off the price of the meal but also gave us a free appetizer. As always, the food was delicious and the service was top notch! Deyon was excellent!! Thank you! The only reason why the atmosphere was give 4 stars instead of 5 was because about half way through the meal, the heater came on and was blowing on our table, making it very hot and uncomfortable. Certainly that wasn’t bad enough to prevent us from coming back! We love it here! It’s great for a date night, a business meeting, a family place, or a night out at a bar.

Kris was without a doubt the best waitress we have had in years. She was pleasant, made eye contact and knowledge of the menu choices. The food was great and came out perfect. Atmosphere was nice, not as loud as other restaurants, so we could have a conversation with the other couple we met. We will go back.

I had such a wonderful experience here, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ari. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel so welcome without being overbearing, and her recommendations were spot on. You can tell she really cares about both the food and the guests’ experience. Our service was quick, everything came out exactly as ordered, and Ari checked in at the perfect times. It’s rare to find someone who makes dining out feel so effortless and enjoyable. Have been here for lunch with my mom twice now and we both love it! Crab cakes are fantastic and the buffalo chicken flatbread was my mom’s favorite!! Elaina our server was so so sweet, did such a great job answering all of our questions and did an amazing job with Cocktail recommendations. I would 100% recommend coming here!

This was hands down one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had, all thanks to our server, Deyon. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, was quick, and so friendly the entire time. This kind of service is what truly makes a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back, not just for the amazing service, but for the great food too!

This restaurant is truly like no other! The staff is beyond happy to help with any need and speedy service. I had Julia as my server and she was a delight. She recommended braised short rib and it was one of the best meals Ive ate, even my husband says so!

Walking in, the atmosphere was very lively and welcoming! I came in with a large crowd and had Sophia as my host when we came in. Sophia was kind and energetic and made it very seem like a piece a cake sitting this large group! Food was great and servers were very well mannered!

This is absolutely the most delicious restaurant i have ever been to. The atmosphere is stunning and servers like their sweet Elaina make for a unforgettable night under the glittering lights of chop. Ari, was absolutely incredible, she was attentive from the very beginning introducing herself not only to myself but also my children! The food was absolutely wonderful and Ari answered any questions we had about the menu, she was extremely patient with our children as they told her what they wanted. The ChopHouse is a great place, for date nights, a casual afternoon out and very family friendly. I would highly recommend, and it was a bonus to have Ari!

We love Chophouse!! I’ve attended events there, hosted events there, and gone there just for dinners and every experience has been wonderful! Everything on the menu that I’ve tried has been incredible (I especially love their salads!!) and the staff is so friendly and accommodating, even when I’ve been there with my young toddler. When I hosted my best friend’s bridal shower there, they made the whole process so easy and the party ended up being perfect. As a type A person, I really value how organized and on top of things the managers were throughout the planning process and on the day of. Natalie, Mo, and Lexie were amazing to work with!! Highly recommend Chophouse for your next event or just a yummy meal out!

My family and I stopped into Chophouse to celebrate my brother’s graduation and we had such a great time! The food was amazing and the service was even better. We ordered the brussel sprouts and the buffalo shrimp to start which were both very tasty. I got the burger for my entree and it was cooked perfectly. Kelsey, our server, did a great job at taking care of us and making sure everything was great. She was very timely and genuine. Thank you for a great experience Kelsey!

The night was made especially memorable thanks to the manager, Mo, who was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our dinner feel truly special!! Just an all-around solid joint. The atmosphere is trendy and open. The food was delicious and generous but not too much in portion size. Bocce bread was great... the butter options were GREATER! We had the short rib tacos (amazing), chx capri sandwich (huge with several sauce options on the side) and the turkey burger. HUGE and delicious. I liked they gave you the option between fries or a side salad. (Side salad for the win) I got the smoked old fashion YUM! And last the service was top notch. They were busy yet we were sat quickly then immediately greeted by Rick who mercifully smiled through my boys interrogation of soda options. We never had a dry water glass and he checked back often ensuring our "no bacon", on the side, and "no cilantro" subs were added to our order! We will be back!!

I loved the experience my family and I had at ChopHouse. The service was incredible. Each employee we interacted with treated us with respect and kindness. Our hostess was Peyton and our waiter was Rick and they were both on top of every customer’s needs and made an excellent team. The food was delicious and my father even enjoyed his meal (something rare for our outings)! Would highly highly recommend!!!

ChopHouse Grill in Exton is an excellent dining spot that delivers on both food and service. From the moment we walked in, our waitress set the tone for a great experience — caring, courteous, attentive to details. The food was great, especially the Buffalo Shrimp appetizer, which was packed with flavor, and the crab cakes and sandwiches, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. We also tried a couple of their cocktails and were pleasantly surprised by both the presentation and taste.

Came for a birthday celebration and had some lovely drinks and food! Service was unfortunately the major lag of the night. We started with a round of drinks. The standouts were lavender martini, jalapeño margarita and crush. The espresso martinis were not good, they were watery & overly sweet. The appetizers were all amazing. Calamari fried perfectly, the buffalo shrimp had a great kick and the brussel sprouts were NEXT LEVEL. An absolute must have, I would come back just for them. The entrees were good not great. My burger was meh, the bun was too hard and the lettuce tasted off. Fries were alright. The scallops were a standout, the risotto was creamy and had good flavor. The service was really slow. It took 10+ minutes for our server to greet us, and then everytime we put something in (even drinks) it was a long wait. It was busy, but still. I would come back for drinks and apps in the future!

Swung by The Chop House Grill in Exton after an appointment with Snap. My first time. The place looked good and the service was very good. We only tried some basic items, so l think it is worth doing a full meal there sometime. But what we had was fine. The steak flatbread was fine. The fish tacos were okay. The crème brûlée was as good as I have had. The plank smoked old fashioned was very good and had an excellent presentation!

Beautiful atmosphere. Food is good but leaves a little to be desired at the price point. They do have a delicious and fantastic burger that's worth trying.

A very nice place for a meal. I had a French onion soup for an appetizer and it was extremely good. I had the New York strip steak for dinner and sad to say like other diners, that it lacked seasoning. It was in fact properly cooked as requested. The potatoes I had could also use a little more seasoning. The mac and cheese was very good and enjoyed by all. My wife had the swordfish special and she really enjoyed it as there were no leftovers to take home. All of the guests in my party, except for me, had the cheesecake special that was a seasonal special with Apple pie drizzling and peanut butter sauce. They all really enjoyed it. For myself I had the cream brulee, that too was very good. Overall it is very nice place for dinner, but I was disappointed that I could not see the sports games on TV from where I was seated. Our waitress was very charming and very helpful in helping us select our meals. We really enjoyed her too.

Wouldn't call this upscale. Nicer than your typical chain, sure. But by no means upscale. Food wasn't bad. Their steak sauce had good flavor. Probably the best part of our meal. We both got steaks (NY strip And a ribeye) that were cooked just as we asked (medium). They were a quite bland though, no seasoning at all. The green beans were cooked just enough to no longer have that crispness when you bite into them but not soggy. The fingerlings also were lacking in any real seasoning. Overall the service was good but not sure we'd come back. They did have a lot of options that were in the lower end, like sandwiches priced around $15.

Passing through Exton on a road trip, we decided to stop at Chophouse Grille, based on the positive reviews and the proximity to the turnpike. The place was busy, but we were seated immediately. We had a major problem with the service. We waited forever for a server to take our drink order. Someone came by, took our drink order, apologized and said our waitress would be by shortly. When our waitress showed up, we ordered the buffalo shrimp appetizer, which was outstanding. We decided on just a couple of handheld options as we wanted to get back on the road. Again an unreasonably long wait and another apology, offering us dessert on the house for the inconvenience. My wife had the turkey burger, which was really perfectly cooked and very tasty. I had the French dip, which was nice, thinly sliced ribeye, but I didn't care for the roll. We had the roasted mushrooms as a side, which were quite good. We took some carrot cake to go, which was good, but the portion did not warrant the $11 price tag, even though ours were complimentary. They really have to get their service issues resolved. It's too bad, because the atmosphere is nice and the food is pretty good. We will not be returning.

Due to the snowstorm, we chose this location to celebrate our 24th Anniversary. It was close to the house and had been recommended highly. Upon walking in you are greeted with a very classy ambiance. A large bar and then an equally large dining room with a very open aesthetic. There were two hostesses who greeted us with a smile. I had indicated on our reservation this was a wedding anniversary, they didn’t say anything upon welcoming us so I reminded them. They said “oh yes, how nice” and then asked if we wanted a high top or a booth. I had hoped a proper space had been thought out for us previous to our arrival with the whole celebrating an anniversary in the reservation. But no, they actually asked me if I wanted a high top for my anniversary. No, I would like a booth. And in a virtually empty restaurant we were brought to a booth in the middle with no significance. I brushed it off, determined to enjoy the rest of the meal. Our waiter arrived, almost immediately and asked about drinks, we had been seated for about 30 seconds. We asked for a moment and if there were any specials as we needed to determine what we were eating before ordering drinks. He went over a steak special, and gave us a moment. We decided to order cocktails as the wine menu didn’t provide the types of wines we typically drink (French and Italian old world), the only French we saw was an at market $12 bottle of wine, not rated very highly. So, we went to a Negroni which is hard to mess up. While the Negroni was prepared properly it was served in a Brandy glass, which was wild. A Negroni should always be served in a rocks glass. But we proceeded. We ordered their lobster bisque which was delicious and prepared GF which is appreciated. Be aware that each bowl is $12 and the bowls are filling. Would love to see a cup offering here. Then we ordered our steaks. I got a Filet Medium and my husband got a Ribeye Medium rare. They come with fingerling potatoes and green beans. This came timely. On my plate was also a ramekin of a sauce? It was never explained what it was but it was ice cold. The green beans were perfectly cooked and very fresh. The fingerlings were bland and overcooked. I had added mushrooms to my steak and they were delicious. My steak was undercooked but fine for me, it had that tender Filet texture. It wasn’t mind blowing, and in my world of steaks will be forgettable. My husband took one bite of his ribeye and had to immediately return it. It was chewy and super tough. And also cooked medium. So I got his Medium rare and he got my medium. He likened it to getting a steak at Denny’s. It was switched out for a filet. I shared some of my steak with him till it arrived. I believe it was a manager who brought over the new steak, which took about 10 min. This one was satisfactory. He felt the same as I did about mine. It was good not great but much better than the first one he was served. The filet at this time is $42. As we finished this up our server asked if we would like dessert and it would be on the house, we were appreciative and went with Crème Brûlée, which was good. I asked what kind of espresso they had and he brought out the Nespresso capsule to show me, being a Nespresso owner, I said yes, because usually restaurants serve flat, no crema, usually brutally bitter espresso. I knew this one would be excellent, except it wasn’t. It came out almost room temperature and no crema, it was flat and honestly, a little watery. I think they put too much water to the bean. But I just drank it, as this entire visit had been disappointing. Our server while nice came off like this was a forced stop on his way home, never being quite sure of the menu or how to answer our questions, fumbling and energy levels were low. Never once did anyone acknowledge our anniversary. Not once did anyone say, thank you for spending your special evening here and not once was any special arrangement made to help us celebrate. It felt like an ordinary day. And the food felt ordinary. Cost: $138+ tip. We have decided we won’t be returning. It’s just not for us.
