Simply excellent. From the taste in food, to the quality of our drinks, to the great staff that waited on us on Wednesday night 11/26/2015. We enjoyed every aspect of this visit. Thank you to the entire staff.
The bartender was very knowledgeable about the Tequila and recommended the best Tequila flight The freshly made Guacamole was delicious along with the chip's and salsa!
Wonderful restaurant..... excellent guacamole... fresh good food .... nice outdoor dining and competant and kind servers... a lot of fun! Bravo Xilantro...
Very good advice regarding the types of tequila.
Outing with friends to have some light fare and drinks. It was 8:30 pm when we arrived on a Saturday. They were already out of Patrone tequila which we found odd for a Mexican restaurant. We asked the bartender about it and he snapped to look around at how crowded it was citing that was why they ran out. We then asked if, using another Tequila brand, we could have watermelon margueritas. As it turns out, they were also out of watermelon. We then ordered the mixed fruit margueritas, which were labeled as having fresh fruit but the cherries and peaches were the same likeness to canned Delmonte fruit. Very disappointing and expensive!
The drinks were pretty good, but food was only okay and overpriced. Our server really didn't know what she was doing, which would be excusable... but we were glared at by the manager and hostess when we were chatting after our meal because they had somebody waiting for it. Not friendly at all and not worth the amount of money we spent at their establishment.
Went to check it out this past Saturday night with friends. Noisy. Bartender told us that they were out of Patron tequila - "how is this possible?" we asked. How can an upscale restaurant run out of the main ingredient in most of their "specialty" drinks? The bartender RUDELY told us to look around - shouldn't it be obvious that the crowd drank all the Patron?!! We will not be going back. Advice: take your own bottle of tequila as they obviously don't stock enough for their busy weekends.
Went in about 530pm with my cousin for dinner. We ordered four tapas. Waiter didn't introduce himself and when we asked for beer we had to point at the ones we wanted on the board because I guess he wasn't competent with beverages. There was a party of 8 or 10 that our waiter was more concerned with. But most of all our meal was 68$ and he never talked to us once, no thank you no nothing. 25 minutes later we get our food and its was ok. It was a 5 on a scale of one to ten. We really wanted good Mexican food and this was not the place.
Went here to grab a quick margarita. It was nice out so me and my three girlfriends requested to sit outside. After a 20 minute wait nothing. My three friends were wearing tank tops (Yano, shoulders exposed, cleavage etc) and skirts. I on the other hand had just got done at the gym in which I did shower. I only had time to throw on some jeans and a clean tank top from polo (horizontal stripes). After 30 minutes of ignored service the bartender walks out and tells ME that the manager inside is making me leave because my attire (tank top) is a "health" concern. I then asked the bartender why I didn't appear to be "healthy". He said "it's just at the request of the manager". I then look inside at the manager starring at me who apparently isn't professional enough to come out and tell me this myself. I then ask what the difference is between 3 girls wearing tank tops and myself wearing a tank top? Obviously the bartender was just the messenger and was actually a very nice guy, but all I can infer from this is that the manager is sexist. With that said I do not whatsoever recommend going here. My friend went here one time and said the food was terrible. 0 stars. Horrible service. That is all. I to matador. Way better. They let all of us in after we left no problem.
