Better ingredients, better pizza, not Papa John's. I like to only eat ORGANIC FOOD, & this place only has organic food, farm to table!

First time We ordered the bella Napoli which was absolutely amazing (slightly cold tho). The crust is thin and crispy, sauce and cheese were in perfect proportions. We also got the pearfection salad, the salad was okay, the candied pecan, cranberry and the pear combination was too sweet for My liking but gotta say the pears were really fresh. Second time It didn’t disappoint. I got the wagayu burger with fries and their infamous food pyramid. Still consistent with freshness and quality.

The food is terrific. I eat a mostly Whole Food Plant Based diet and was able to find dozens of menu items for me! I ended up with the Avacado Rice Salad, but I added a bed of arugula to the bottom for an uncharge. Even though it's in the Salad section it comes with coconut peanut rice...and I wanted some greens. They accommodated and I'll have 2 or 3 meals from this! Delicious. It's Friday and the service is a little slow, but again, it's Friday. :) Friendly!

They have a dog friendly patio and an online menu that you can scan when you get outside so you don’t have to wait in line well known for their sandwiches and salads. They also have pizza and a wide selection of beers. Ask for Alex the server she is going to make your visit special

Great food! Great place! Friendly accommodating staff. 🥰 You can simply get seated and order on the phone with their online menu code on each table. We got bunch of customised pizzas and burgers. The pizza was fresh and tasty. The burger was good too! Came with sweet potato fries! Overall would definitely go back for this amazing service and meal. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. My personal fav is the chipotle based pizza with grilled chicken and peppers/jalapeño. Mojitos and Margaritas were fresh and quantity was okay. Definitely worth every penny spent👍🏼

Plentiful vegan options in a bright bistro setting! My go-to order is the Craft Your Own Salad, as there are countless combinations to choose from. They used to have Fried "Calamari" with hearts of palm; unfortunately, it was removed from the menu, so I tried their hearts of palm "Fish" Tacos. I also love the Cheesy Breadsticks and the Atomic Veggie Sandwich. The Couch Tomato is a must-visit in Manayunk!

Food did take a while but was well worth the wait. We weren’t even fried and we messed up every dish that came out to us. Our server was kind and reassuring, apologizing to us for the long wait for our food. Atmosphere was very intimate and chill. 9.9/10 def recommend.

When we first sat down, the employee who sat us down (Ben) brought us two tiny mugs full of tomato bisque. These mugs are complimentary to all guests. The soup was incredible! It was so good we ordered another bowl for my partner and I to share. We also ordered a Cesar salad, an order of buffalo wings, and a personal sized margarita pizza. The salad was large and extremely tasty. The buffalo wings were also excellent and had a sweet, tangy, and unique flavor. Both the salad and wings were “different” in their flavors, but in a good way. The pizza however was not good, which is ironically what we came there for. We have tried tons of different style of pizza (Chicago, New York, Neapolitan, etc.) and this was nothing like any of those. I was expecting a Neapolitan/wood fire taste since that’s what it looked like in photos, but the taste was not at all like that. The bottom of the pizza reminded me of a bagel and sauce/ tomato flavor was very off. It was watery and too sweet, which is surprising given that the tomato soup they serve is perfection. Looking back, I think it is possible all the pizzas are gluten free and that is part of why it tasted so strange to me. If I return in the future I will probably order a grilled cheese to go with the tomato soup instead. Despite not liking the pizza much, I still can’t help but give the place five stars based on the service. Our server Marcus was lovely. He was very kind, friendly, and patient. It was also a nice and quiet atmosphere despite all the tables being full. The restaurant also had great outdoor seating. Staff did not wear masks, but they did have a very clear hand sanitizer station when you entered and the restaurant felt very clean. I would love to come back the next time we visit Philly.

Food here is always a 10/10! Decided to grab some food to go and take a look at the quality it shows! The food is always fresh and super delicious! I had the La Fiesta Salad and Chicken Chipotle Corn Chowder

Couch Tomato is so good! As someone with celiac, I love knowing my food will not only be delicious, but also safe for me to eat! The GF grilled cheese is AMAZING! We were also in & out in 45/50 min…just in time for our movie! (Our server Isaac was great too!)

So many options! Seriously if you have ANY dietary restrictions, this is the place to go. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options galore! And if your group is a mixed bag, don’t worry, because their seafood and meat and all other options are exceptional, no matter what flavors you’re in the mood for. We had a holiday party catered by the Tomato Shack. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We will certainly be calling them to cater for us next year. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, hands down, and I have been off gluten since 2011! Ingredients are locally sourced, the sauce is to die for. Don’t skip the gluten-free cheesy breadsticks, and get extra marinara dipping sauce!

We were very happy with the quality of food from the Tomato Cafe. We used their drop and go catering for our small wedding ceremony. Everyone liked the food and it was not too expensive.

Working with Jan on all of our catering needs has been amazing. Jan truly is the reason why we continue to use Tomato Shack for all of our catering needs. You can find great food other places but to find top notch service is not easy and Jan is just that! Amazing and highly recommend for all of your catering needs just be sure to ask for Jan :)

The Sizzling Sausage pizza was delivered hot and delicious. I always love the crust!!! Everything was great, sauce, sausage, fresh mozzarella cheese and the fresh basil always tops it off. I got the sauce aioli sauce on the side for occasional dipping.

One of my favorite spots in the area for pizza and sandwiches! Quality of ingredients are always fresh and portions are always a good size. I’d definitely recommend the Nashville hot chicken sandwich or any of their pizzas!

This place has been long time favorite from the days my mother and I ate here (and she has since passed so it’s now nostalgic to come here with my young son in her memory). Our waiter was very attentive and polite and made our experience a great one in the bistro. The food was fresh, while still being so delicious. I have so many food allergies so this has always been a go to spot that can always accommodate my many food restrictions. The manager here Josh is also great! He knows how to read the room and wants to step in if ever there is an issue being very hands on. I also loved how diverse the atmosphere was from ethnicities to different age groups. Even when I vow to “no longer get take out” this will always be an exception because of its clean ingredients and my hope is this place stays around for decades to come!

I had such a great experience at The Tomato Shack! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and full of character. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The food was the real standout. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Their menu options are absolutely incredible — rich, vibrant, and perfectly seasoned. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the presentation was beautiful.

I had some website issues but called into the store and someone graciously took my order over the phone and it was delivered in 45 minutes. I had a salad, a gluten-free pizza, bread, wheel and the chicken chipotle corn chowder soup. everything was amazing as always!

What is not to love! Incredible food that’s health conscious, kid friendly dining in experience, loads of gluten free and vegan options. Also love that they have their own delivery team so I don’t have to mess with UE or DD!

I went to the tomato shack with my best girlfriends and let me just say I had the most wonderful time! The plain Jane and Tony’s pizza is out of this world fantastic! Everyone should go with their loved ones and enjoy a delicious slice of warm cheesy goodness pizza and don’t forget the garlic nuts ;-)

This is such a cute spot right on Main St! I got the black bean burger and the sweet potato fries, both of which were delicious. Super customizable and tons of vegan options. Louisa took great care of us!

The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all perfect. We absolutely LOVED the plant based “crab” cakes - so unique and flavorful. Personal veggie special pizza and peach jawn pizza were both excellent. Very well priced for the amount of food you get and the incredible quality. Our server Kayla was sweet and attentive!

We sat outside by choice so I can't say anything about the indoor atmosphere. Food was good overall. I had the Kicken Chicken sandwich. Would try something different next time. The garlic knots, on the other hand, were simply excellent.

Solid 4/5. From the food, to the service, to the ambiance, everything flowed as one cohesive piece. It serves as a great casual date spot. Not too loud with dim lighting and you could certainly hear each other without shouting. Everything tasted great. My two gripes with the entire meal was that the wings were a bit small and the turkey sandwich was overly toasted to the point it was hard.

Comfort food in a casual setting! Ok first things first - food was bomb! I went for a Saturday lunch and got the southwest burger (crispy chicken, provolone, lettuce, chipotle aioli). I’m a picky eater so I got this but it was actually really delicious. The best part is that they gave complimentary tomato soup that came in cute little espresso cups 🥹🥹 anyway the price came out to just about $31 including tip for two lunches! Service was also good and the waitress was nice. We sat outside so I can’t comment on the indoor seating situation. Overall the vibes are casual and the food was yummy!

Really cute place, lots of options especially for dietary needs. A bit pricey but kinda expected for the area. Great gluten free pizza crust! Best ive ever had.

Atmosphere is comfortable, but it seems like the staff is overwhelmed and doesn't pay attention to the paying customer. I also feel that they should have a Takeout menu

I used to love their create your own salad but they recently changed the menu so that I am unable to get what I normally got before. They axed the Italian dressing, bistro chicken, and white beans which are my favorite parts of the salad.

They are terrible with delivery and online orders, maybe with the new ownership/name changes, the quality of service has gone down. It used to be great. I placed an order online through door dash and I called the store one hour later; they said “oh the food is ready” but the door dash app still said they were “preparing the order”. The store tried to claim it was a door dash problem but then the order status magically changed to “dasher on the way” right after we hung up. The food was cold and was clearly left out at the store and status not updated. Would not recommend - choose another place in manayunk
