This place is my favorite kind of Mexican restaurant. Very low key, in a strip mall. But it feels like your abuela is in the kitchen cooking some delicious food. I got the pastor burrito, which was very good. It came with a small side of guac, which was fresh and delicious. I got a side salad included, which was freshly made.
We had a great dinner with friends. Service is friendly and prompt. Cocktails are excellent! Guacamole is freshly made. The cheese empanadas were very tasty. Tortilla soup is made the right way. Main courses are properly prepared and the Churros and flan are amazing. The price is reasonable which made it a valuable meal. In brief- a five star restaurant!!!
Some of the best food I’ve had, hands down. Not the best “Mexican” food…the best food. Absolutely stunning, the pina coladas are stellar, perfectly strong, a juicy slice of pineapple sprinkled with sea salt on top (when you dunk the slice with your straw the salt dissolves, incredible touch). The guacamole is chunky, perfectly seasoned, the lime hits the back of the tongue, chicken is the juiciest I’ve ever tasted, the salsa is incredible. It’s all just…it’s a religious experience. Go here. Why is everyone going to salsa Fresca or chipotle. GO. HERE.
A True Hidden Gem! This place is an absolute standout. When they say they cook like they do at home, they’re not kidding. It's comfort food taken to another level. The calamari was hands down the best I’ve ever had, crispy, tender, and full of flavor. The fish tacos were rich, buttery, and absolutely delicious. Service was outstanding, and the drinks were top-notch. We were already raving about it to our friends before we even left. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!
Had the taco salad which was really good just a little pricey for the size. Did not like the wings they were dry and had. The calamari was amazing.
My experience here was exceptional. We had such an amazing time. The ambience was so warm and welcoming. Food was AMAZING and all the servers were so lovely. Would 110% recommend!!!
I ordered the steak tacos, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. Service was impressively fast, and the restaurant was very clean and well-maintained.
Wow. This was our first time eating here. We pass this restaurant all the time and always talk about going. The food was so yummy and fresh. Service was excellent - so nice! And prices were decent. At the end, the served us churros and ice cream which was a lovely surprise. Wish we tried it sooner. Can’t wait to go back!
The service was the best part. Staff was so extremely sweet. My waiter was attentive, asked if I wanted a picture (when he saw that we were taking photos of our food), and gave me a different meal when I ordered the wrong thing. He also gave me a flan on the house when I had mentioned that I loved flan. Food was really good. 100% recommend coming here.

Immaculate restaurant and the food and service are top notch. Second time we have been here and the food is fresh and delicious. I got the salmon with avocado cream sauce. Large piece of salmon beautifully cooked and freshly made sauce were perfection. My husband got an equally delicious chicken dish. One of my new favorites!
The food was amazing. I tried their soup which was very good on a past visit. This time here I tried their flavored margaritas
The mixed fajitas were absolutely delicious! The lemonade was refreshing and authentic, made with real lemon juice. Parking was easy to find, and the service was top-notch. I can't overstate how flavorful the steak was—it's one of the best I've ever tasted.
In town for a wedding, so my wife and I decided on Avocado for a meal once we arrived in the Danbury area. This Mexican restaurant was convenient to our hotel. The decor, including the sobrero light shades and Mexico-themed table clothes, were quite quaint and attractive. The atmoshere was warm and inviting. Our two lovely hostesses were quite attentive. My wife and I felt very welcome here. The service was top-notch and the food was delicious. Also, plenty of items to choose from for dinner, drinks, and desserts. We had a lovely time.

Came here just for appetizers on an afternoon. The food is amazing and friendly service. I tried the mussels Mexican style, empanadas, chicken wings, and churros. Great flavor definitely recommend. I also tried the margarita. Really good. Lots of love in their food and drinks.
Delicious food! The tacos al pastor were amazing. My husband loved his chorizo burrito. The server was very nice and helpful. Great place, will definitely return.
My Wife and I love ordering from this place! I love ordering the pork burrito. The ONLY and main issue is when I have is they plate the burrito with the guacamole and sour cream. By doing this, the wrap gets ruined and falls apart. I’ve even asked in the special instructions to separate them, but it wasn’t done. This makes me skip out on ordering from one of my favorite places to eat, which I’m not proud of doing.
Preparation is essential to determine if the food is great in a restaurant like this. Meals that are often quickly prepared don't have the BEST quality. Example fresh beans are softer to the taste than canned beans. Fresh beans should have a slight taste of onions & garlic with black beans it should have a pinch of epazote! That brings out the rich flavor. Not all Mexican restaurants have that unique flavor. This cozy, Mexican restaurant/bar is perfect for a medium-sized gathering. Delightful bilingual staff, free parking, wheelchair accessibility including the restrooms, and extremely colorful with air conditioning. All dishes are served in medium portions, kids meal even smaller perfect for the littles ones. Not many Tex-Mex restaurants have agua fresca, but this did. If you LOVE spicy food, like me, make sure you ask the waiter. They also have karaoke, 10:00 pm till 2:00 am.
Formally a peruvian restaurant, now a Mexican... the food was great, the portions were decent and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had a burrito which was served semi plain, but the taste was great! 👍
Good food and atmosphere, reasonably priced for Mexican restaurant and the waiter is very attentive. Although, I am not a fan of their Mexican rice, it has color but no flavor.
I wanted to love the food but honestly I couldnt. The birria tacos had alot of meat which is great but they were extremely soggy, bland, and very greasy. The churros were extremely hard it felt like I was eating a cracker.
I usually don’t like to leave bad ratings but honestly, I have no idea how anyone in their right mind rated this place over a one star rating The chips were unbelievably bland. The Queso Fundito had la bean sauce in it as well as onions, peppers, and squash. Never in my life have I ever had Queso Fiundito like that. Not good. I also. Specifically asked for flour tortillas and got corn tortillas. Although the Beria tacos looked really good they were unbelievably bland, as was the consume. Also the mango margarita was literally just tan colored slushy ice. I could not taste the least amount of mango or tequila in the drink. I had to send it back. The service was also unbelievably slow. I think we were in there an hour and a half for no reason it wasn’t even busy.. I’m very sorry, but the place is just not good. La Dfferentca is worlds better, Unfortunately, they closed early tonight. Worst 80 bucks I spent in a long time.
Service was horrible staff was not pleasant I didn’t try to food because the atmosphere felt “stuffy” the bar tender was blah not to mention there’s a refrigerator sitting in the bar area I just couldn’t get comfortable there. Ordered a beer didn’t finish it I paid for it and left.
