Opinions de Arth Bar and Kitchen Beverly Hills
We were pleasantly surprised by this place! We were looking for an Indian restaurant in the area we were in and had heard this place was pretty good. We tried a variety of dishes including appetizers and entrees and we honestly enjoyed everything we got. Everything was quite tasty and we liked that they put a spin on traditional Indian dishes. Note: the food is not spicy but is flavorful, so if you want to add spiciness, you can request it. The ambience at the restaurant and service was also great! They also have a happy hour with 50% off appetizers which would be a great deal. We'll definitely be back!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the best modern Indian spots I’ve tried in LA. Hands down. After frequenting this restaurant a number of times, I feel it’d be good to give a review based off a couple categories important to consider when you’re looking for that next new spot. Ambience: Super sleek and stylish interior with warm Indian touches. There’s an open kitchen, comfy seating, and two patios. It’s upscale but still casual enough for a chill night out or date night. Music is loud enough to fill the room—conversations indoors will be at a normal talking level or slightly louder depending on how busy it is. Food & Drinks: The menu is creative and everything we tried was packed with flavor. You can never go wrong with their Chicken Tikka or Paneer Masala. My favorites here are the sexy fries and the mango lasso—I have to order these every time. Service: Staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome the whole time. I’ve had multiple chances to speak with the owner of Arth, Mihir. His kindness and attentiveness to customers at Arth make it much easier for me to frequent and return to this place for lunches, dinners, or special occasions. Value: Prices are super fair for the quality—most mains under $30. Great happy hour deals too (half-off small plates and drink discounts). Parking was not an issue and easy to find. There’s a parking garage extremely close to the venue that can be used and usually has many open spots. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re in Culver City and want Indian food with a modern twist.
I had the opportunity for an exclusive tasting dinner...and Wow! This place was amazing! Being myself from the hospitality Industry, I have to say that ARTH took it to the next level. As you walk in the door you are met with an urban chic ambience. It's obvious from the start that a lot of careful planning went into creating a luxurious yet comfortable space. The subtle lighting, framed photographs and comfortable seating creates what could be an opulent living room crossed with a trendy lounge. FOOD: Now comes the most important part, the food. I think I would be short of positive adjectives because the food here is just amazing. The way food is presented is contemporary but the traditional taste of the food takes you back to India. There are more than enough options for people who are vegetarian. The taste of the food and the temperature of the food are a perfect blend that just wows your taste buds. SERVICE: The Service is also top-notch, the servers are enthusiastic and have great knowledge of Indian cuisine. If you are looking for a "SOULFUL" experience, I highly recommend visiting ARTH. They are officially opening to the public on July 8th.
We had a delightful meal here where we tried some new dishes and some standbys. First, props to the staff. The waitress was super helpful and the support staff were on top of clearing our dishes as we finished. We started with a drink that was mixed perfectly and very delicious. Our appetizer was the broccoli malai. It was something different for us and very strongly flavored and layered. While we liked it, and appreciated the preparation and presentation, we definitely needed something else to counterbalance the strength of flavor. Thats where the samosas come in. They were definitely basic but serviceable. Our main course consisted of the butter chicken and mixed vegetables curry. The butter chicken had a sweetness to it that was different but welcome and the veggie curry was all fresh veggies. The naan was hot and buttery. Some of the best we've had. We'd definitely go back. Need to try those Tikka tacos and saag.
So finally I experienced the most AMAZING Indian food in LA. You pick anything from the menu and the Taste is just wow.I was happy that I was able to take my dogs with me. I wish you guys have dog menu too. Very friendly staff as well. I am sure your service will improve next time I visit so just less wait time did food and drinks :). Can’t wait to go again and try some new things.
We split the Sexier Curry Fries, Tandoori Achari Chaap, Vegan "Butter Chicken", Saffron Rice and Sholay Naan. Everything was tasty, but the standouts were the Tandoori Achari Chaap and the Sholay Naan. The chaap was smoky from the Tandoori and so good with the raw red onion and side chutney. The naan was loaded with minced garlic and serranos.
Loved my experience at Arth, a place I stumbled upon while strolling through Culvert City. Menu offers plenty of options to choose from and their homestyle curry recommendation was delicious. Their saffron rice was perfect and their garlic naan was the perfect compliment for my lunch. My waiter was very helpful at answering my questions and was eager to give me recommendations of dishes one should try when visiting Arth. Lastly, the patio seating area is perfect to people watch. Highly recommended
Food tasted like proper Indian cuisine for its items, nice fusion too- I’m a strict vegetarian so I didn’t order an fried items (as there’s cross contamination with the oil) but the servers were caring and wonderful. Wanted to give a shoutout to server Emiliano and the team. I hope upper management can acknowledge them in some way! Sweet, kind, caring- it made me want to come back again :) The pay bhaji was tasty, laccha paratha was excellent, garlic raita, veggie biryani, chutney etc were great. Rasmalai (didn’t like the mango flavor- tasted like concentrate version) but food I enjoyed and my detox drink. Nice vibe inside too.
I had a pleasure to visit the restaurant yesterday and I am really flattered with everything . Taste of food, ambience, staff behavior and location everything was top notch. I really liked their mutton curry and breads. If you are bored with monotonous Indian restaurants in LA area, please plan to visit this restaurant and I am sure it won’t disappoint you 😉
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Was looking for an Indian spot which was actually nice to sit at. Most here seem dingy inside. This place was very nice and service was spectacular. We had biryani and veg jalfrezi. Both were flavourful and spicy enough for Indian tastes. The garlic naan was light but still buttery and garlicy. Had Gulab juman for dessert which was great too. Not too sweet and good rose water flavour. My only thing is menu could be bigger. Been in LA a few weeks and most satisfying Indian I’ve had so far.
Dinner at ARTH Bar & Kitchen was an absolute standout. From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm and stylish—modern but inviting, with just the right energy for a night out. The staff struck that perfect balance of attentive and relaxed, making us feel taken care of without ever being rushed. The food itself was unforgettable. The Classic Samosas were perfection: crisp on the outside, filled with just the right amount of spice inside. And the Sexy Fries? Honestly addictive—comfort food with a creative, elevated twist. What impressed me most was the balance—every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully presented, and deeply flavorful without being overdone. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger, share plates, and savor every bite. In a city full of great restaurants, ARTH really sets itself apart as a dinner spot that’s soulful, stylish, and unforgettable. GO! And then go again!!!
We had the chili and Seabass and butter chicken also the samosas and garlic naan. The service was very good. The food was so colorful and the meat was very moist. The chili and Seabass absolutely melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Arth Bar is a total hidden gem—think upscale American bar meets modern Indian soul. The space is stunning, the food is a delight, and the vibe is unmatched. It’s not your average Indian restaurant; it’s an experience. We were lucky enough to catch a live performance by Simran, and she was absolutely phenomenal. Not just background music—this was an artist you stop eating just to listen to. We love that Arth Bar supports emerging talent like her. It’s so refreshing to see a restaurant truly champion local artists and give them a platform. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully plated, and the cocktails were just as thoughtful. Whether you’re here for the food, the drinks, or the music—it delivers on all fronts. We’ll definitely be back.
Great dinner with the family. Go to Indian food on the west side made by actual Indian Chefs. Will be back again. Service & Atmosphere is great but the food is what brings is back again.
Great food and very nice outdoor patio! We went in the afternoon around 3 pm and they only served starters. We had the sexy curry fries, pav bhai and tikka tacos! All three were very tasty, especially the pav bhaji! Highly recommend trying this place. And definitely try the Jal Jeera Sunrise cocktail🔥 PS: they have 50% off on starters during the afternoon.
Excellent Indian restaurant with delicious, atypical dishes and a talented bar. The naan is thin and buttery, the meat dishes rich and ample. Air-conditioning inside can be a little chilly so dress accordingly.
I usually forget that this place is here. Even if walking by, it doesn’t really draw my attention. They were part of the Downtown Business Summertime “crawl” and I promised myself that I would remember to go in. I finally had a chance, and I am excited to say that this is my new fav Indian place in the area. And it’s walking distance from my office. The food didn’t have too huge of a heat/spice, but just enough for a Mango Lassi to cool. I loved the chicken bites. The butter chicken/tikka sauce was a bit more tomato based than I’m used too, but the flavors were intense. The tikka tacos were kind of insanely good. The garlic naan is perfect, and I could definitely eat more than what came with the lunch special. The paneer chili appetizer was unique. I think I would try it with the chicken next time. Overall, I’ll definitely be back!
I have been to Arth many times over the last couple of years, and it remains my go-to for Indian food in the LA area! From brunch to a heated patio to private events, this location offers so much in the heart of walkable downtown Culver City. Their menu expertly combines traditional Indian cuisine with modern fusion dishes. Their butter chicken, spinach and paneer kofta, dal makhmali, and burnt raita are particularly exquisite and taste just like home while being innovative and delicious. I also particularly appreciate their vegan butter chicken and other vegetarian options for my family and friends with dietary restrictions. The servers are always kind and attentive, and the bar is fully stocked with plenty of Desi-inspired cocktails that are as tasty as the food. There is also a nearby public parking structure on Watseka that makes it easy to get to the restaurant. I highly recommend Arth for your next outing!
Arth Bar & Kitchen in Culver City is our go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine. We recently went for brunch and enjoyed the Bombay Pav Bhaji, Hakka Noodles in Chili Garlic Sauce, and Masala Omelet. The Bombay Pav Bhaji was perfectly spiced, with soft, toasted pav buns. I especially ove the taste of Khada Masala used in the bhaji! The Hakka Noodles had a great balance of heat and garlic, making it a standout dish. The Masala Omelet was fluffy and well-seasoned, paired nicely with a fresh salad. It made us remember "maa ke haath ka khana" The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I love that they have a huge patio section so one can enjoy their meals comfortably with their dog :)) For anyone craving genuine Indian flavors, Arth Bar & Kitchen is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!
Excellent food and service! I have eaten at many Indian restaurants as my husband is Indian and I typically do not like goat. We ordered goat curry and I absolutely loved it I kept taking it from my husbands plate. They definitely marinated it well as it was very soft and fell apart easily/ tender and not chewy at all!! We ordered butter chicken as well and it was very delicious! Both dishes bahut accha hai!! Mujhie pasand pai! Drinks were great as well! I ordered the margarita and it was spicy/tangy. Naan was fresh, and fantastic they must have a tandoor here! We will be coming back!

Arth Bar & Kitchen is absolutely outstanding and deserves more than five stars! The food is incredibly flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish is rich, authentic, and perfectly spiced. The atmosphere is modern, warm, and inviting—great for both a relaxed meal and a special night out. The service is attentive, friendly, and professional, making the entire experience seamless. Arth Bar & Kitchen is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Culver City. A must-visit
We had a wonderful dinner at Arth. The food was delicious, so fresh and flavorful! The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered several dishes for our party of five along with cocktails and beer. Everyone enjoyed the meal. We would definitely recommend it and plan on visiting again.
We went for Dine LA. The menu offered great variety, all very tasty dishes, abundant portions, and buttery Nan. Some Nice to find an Indian restaurant with a cool vibe, nice bar and warm atmosphere inside and on the patio. The only dish we would pass on next time is the lamb meatballs This will be a go to.

The food was great! We ordered sexier fries, mango refresher, paneer butter masala, sholay naan, chili cream cheese naan, and garlic truffle naan. Spice level was good (we requested it to be spicy). They didn’t have a few things available from the menu but overall a good experience. Really liked the ambience and the service was good!
I have dined and ordered online multiple times from Arth since I moved to Culver City. My first impression was - decent Indian food and cocktails! I have tried many dishes so far, and all tasted good and different from traditional Indian restaurants around. Kudos to the chef. Special call out to my favorite- jackfruit nuggets(full points for the innovation), and tandoor paneer shashlik. Must try!! Note- only 1 dish that was disappointing was spinach & paneer kofta. Gravy dint taste well, too tangy and too much oil. Overall 4 star indian restaurant and lucky to have them so near to home 😊👍🏻 A little pricy and would be even great if they had reduced price for online orders!
We went to Arth Bar & Kitchen with friends and had such a good time. Ordered drinks, appetizers, and main course everything was really good. Service was amazing, and Julieanne was super friendly and attentive. She made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back.
It's been a while since I had Indian food, so I figured, why not give this place a shot? I generally enjoyed the food, but to piggyback another reviewer on spice levels, since it's been a while for me, I was OK with "easing into" it, as they said. So I had no problems with that at all. Very nice environment! If I was in the mood for alcohol, I totally would've gotten a drink, since they had a nice selection, but I decided to be a good boy & stick with soda. I'm glad they didn't judge. Place like this, and in this part of town, the recommended tip listed at the bottom started at 20%, so if you're not used to that, and don't want to go through the mental anguish of putting in a number that may fit your wallet's budget, you might want to try another spot. But the food was pretty good! Naan had a nice texture, and the Biryani rice had some nice flavors in it. Plus, the fries you could tell had a hint of curry spices thrown in, which was a nice touch. Staff was excellent!
Artha Indian Kitchen is a solid choice if you’re in Culver City and craving Indian food in a casual setting—but let’s set expectations. The vibe is more lounge-meets-sports-bar than traditional Indian restaurant, with big screens overhead and a modern, somewhat eclectic interior. If you’re here for authenticity, this isn’t your North or South Indian grandmother’s kitchen—but it does have its moments. The food ranges from decent to very good. The garlic naan was fresh and buttery, but not particularly memorable. The tikka masala leaned a little sweet and tame for my taste, missing some of that classic depth and heat. But the saag chicken? That was the star—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and one of the better versions I’ve had recently. Portions were generous, plating was sharp, and everything came out hot. Service was attentive and professional throughout. The staff made good recommendations and checked in without hovering—always appreciated. If you’re after a relaxed night out with Indian-inspired dishes, cocktails, and maybe a Lakers game in the background, Artha fits the bill. Just don’t come expecting a pilgrimage-worthy spice experience. Four stars for effort, service, and that saag chicken.
Trendy Indian spot in Culver. Came here with a friend for her birthday and we went to town on ordering different bites. Indoor and heated outdoor seating available. We ordered the samosas (2 very large ones come in an order), lamb truffle seekh kebab, butter chicken, saffron rice (rice isn’t included in the dishes), garlic naan, and eggplant masala. We had leftovers for the following day which kept well. The lamb truffle had an interesting flavor but was a bit dry. The garlic naan comes in 2 pieces cut in half, and went well with the butter chicken. I liked the green sauce that came on the side of the samosas a lot. The eggplant masala had some surprising heat that crept up on us and is a good vegetarian option. This place is pricier than your typical mom and pop Indian spot but has a cooler vibe. Overall, a solid choice if you’re craving Indian food but want a hipper ambiance.
Our favourite Indian Restaurant in LA, we had Nutty Eggplant, Veggie Biryani, Butter Paneer Masala and Garlic Naan. We loved everything we ordered but their Butter Paneer Masala sauce was to die for, it’s rich tomato sauce was top notch. I would say the Nutty Eggplant was a little salty for my liking but the sauce was tasty. My 6 year old loved the paneer masala and the naan bread the most. Update on 8/23/23 They took the Nutty Eggplant and Butter Paneer Tikka Masala out of the menu. They added Paneer Tikka and Eggplant Masala instead.
Came in party of 5. waiter is great. Butter chicken good. But all of us got food poisoned. Would come again for stomach and diarrhea. 4 star because diarrhea only came immediately for one of us. Wished to clean my stomach quicker.
Nice eatery in downtown Culver City with a casual ambiance, and interesting Indian food. The menu is mostly North Indian influenced with typical meat, fish, lentil, and vegetable options. We had the crispy cauliflower and avocado bhel, which were plenty to share between seven people. We also shared the chana masala, apricot kofta, the tandoori salmon, baingan bharta, rice and naan. The food was tasty, well spiced (not hot) and adequate. With just that much food, we struggled to clean our plates! Next time we will definitely plan to come with a bigger appetite.

Overall pretty good!! We also had the popular pistachio lamb chops. They were good but too much salt 🧂. Maybe the chef was heavy handed that night. The tacos were fantastic. We’ll definitely come back !
One of the better Indian and Indian fusions places to eat (coming from an Indian cook). Their drinks and appetizers are well curated… will satisfy your Indian palate but keep you in familiar western concepts. Worth a 40 min drive, reasonable price, and location is premium—smack in the middle of Culver City’s beautiful and bustling European vibe city center! Perfect if you’re looking to hangout with some friends or take your family.

Mediocre food that’s expensive for the portion size. The chicken tikka masala doesn’t have enough chicken, the kebabs didn’t have enough flavor. Atmosphere is nice.
I like the atmosphere and the outdoor seating. The server is friendly. Food is good but not the best, the tacos are tasty and fresh. The fish tikka masala is okay but I think it’s not worth the price as it’s not served with rice or bread and the actual fish portion in the masala is significantly small! Food was served after a 40 minute wait, I think that’s not typical but it did happen to us even though the place wasn’t crowded. I wouldn’t visit again.
This is my favorite go to place. There is a good amount of options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Food portions are enough to fill two people. Try Mango Lassi with whipped cream and chicken tikka kebab. Vegetarians can enjoy Paneer Shashlik.

Look, the service was great... genuinely friendly and attentive.. but the food felt like Indian cuisine that took a gap year and came back afraid of spice. The flavors were mild, the portions modest, and the prices ambitious. It’s fine if you’re easing into Indian food, but if you’ve actually had the real thing, this will feel like the PG version.

Unfortunately, Arth Bar did not meet my expectations. Service was fine, and the restaurant interior was nice, with a few TVs playing various different channels. However I was disappointed by the food. I didn’t feel like any of the dishes we tried were significantly better than what I could get at a cheaper, more traditional Indian restaurant, and didn’t bring much to the table in terms of creativity or innovative flavors.
We ordered from here for the first time and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Our order was missing the mango lassi, and when we called to resolve it, we were left on hold for over 10 minutes before eventually hanging up, with no follow-up from the restaurant. The food itself was just okay, and the portion sizes did not feel worth the price.
Ordered food from them thru Uber eats and Samosa crust was burnt and for Pav bhaji only Pav was sent and no bhaji. Tried reaching out to them but no response.
