I’ve been coming here for awhile, Francis is very good and fast, looks like she likes her job. Today I ate 6 tacos and a churro. Loved it.

One of the best restaurants on third Street! I’ve been coming here three or four times a week since they opened up no matter what I ordered the quality is always amazing tasty and fresh. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. You’re always greeted with a big welcome and they appreciate your business, very dog, friendly atmosphere with water bowls front of the store.

Always been a taco truck person, but was delighted when I got to try the burrito and shrimp taco here. The quality of the meat was top notch, and well worth the price. Tacos are medium sized, but extremely hearty. Last but not least, service was extremely friendly with Carlos - will definitely be a regular spot!

Hi Guys!! Long time no Food REVIEW! But guess what?? I’m back to tell you a Place Called Benny’s in West Hollywood! We hopped on the BUS 16 😼 and it bout 20 mins from Holloway/La Cienega. Now, You can Spot Benny’s on the Corner of 3rd/Sweetzer. It’s a Corner Spot With a Bright Yellow Sign! Wow!!! I’m a Big Sucker for The Classics… like The Beach Boys & The Rolling Stones. When We arrived, The Beatles Were Blasting! LOVED THE VIBES! We had so much help From the Whole Benny’s Crew! Francisca Welcomed us in. She is very Polite & helpful! Be kind to her! The customer service was Great 👍 They helped us with the menu and gave us recommendations. Every worker that came to floor Asked us if we needed help. Although we were Néw, we might look like We don’t know what we’re doin, 😏 but we aren’t knew to Menus! We look for the best Savory items, or the most unique plates on the menu! Today we did a Taco taste test! We Ordered 1. Shrimp Taco 🍤 Guys!! It’s so Deeeeeeelish! Grilled shrimp with a sautéed savory flavor! (I must say, this was my favorite.😍) 2. Beef hard shell tortilla Taco For this it’s a seasoned Ground beef with a light sauce. The Flavor is a Unique one. If you are looking for A Regular carne Molina seasoned with salt and pepper this is not the one. It’s something you have to try an order to describe it. Kinda reminded me of Moms Taco packet seasonings from the 80s, BUT WAY better! ♥️ 3. Rotisserie Chicken with slice radishes and pickled onions! I’d say the flavor is going to be that of the Vegetable's, giving it an Authentic taste. 4. Chipotle Chicken Light Chipotle sauce with shredded chicken. Sauce was a nice subtle taste. Not over powering at all! You will enjoy it! I will say this, usually I go to a taco spot they fry the tortilla in Oil wether it be hard or soft shell. Here at Benny’s they warm the tortillas up like street tacos. The size was Hearty taco packed with goodness! We also had Enchiladas Plate! It came with Rice and beans! We chose black beans 🫘 they were amazing! Taste home cooked like Grandmas! The Rice is tomato based. The Salsa Red- Spicy That makes your mouth crave more. Green- is Mild with a kick of Flavors! They brought us chips & salsa to our table. (Love that part.) A Large Soda GOES ALONG way!! They’re pretty big. We could have ordered a small. But I we loved that we could share on a budget. For dessert 🍮 we Had Churros! Oh man, Magical 💖 It’s a Yes from me! Nice crunch and sugary goodness. And it was warmed! Outside & inside facility is clean. Limited seating inside out. Parking in the front and on the street. Guys This is the Spot for friend meet ups, bring your parents for a delightful treat! Take the Kiddos for dinner at Benny’s! So many things to try! Just had tacos at Benny's Tacos & Rotisserie Chicken in Santa Monica and honestly, it was one of the best tacos I've ever eaten. The flavors were legit, super fresh, and everything tasted homemade. The guys worki there were super cool, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Prices were decent too, especially for the quality. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!

Stopped on by as this was close to my hotel. I can only judge by their enchiladas, which were quite tasty. Huuuge portion. Rice and beans. Some romaine with avocado. The chicken was fresh and nice. The sauce was very good, I really liked. A whole lot of cheese, which made it a slop plate. Easily shareable for two. I ate this at like 2pm and didn’t eat for the rest of the day 🤣 The salsas are SUPERB!

Unbelievable food … had the Chipotle Chicken quesadilla and it was straight up AMAZING. They do a great job and the chicken itself is so fantastic. High high quality spot in a hood with no so much sick MX food … HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The rotisserie chicken burritto bowl was fresh and tasty, large portion size, so expect some to be leftover for another small meal. Gluten free tacos available! Delicious tasting tacos that came with 3 types of sauces - guacamole, green salsa and red salsa. Second visit today, enough said. Great outside large table for a group of 8 during the day. Seating inside has less ambience, but ok for the 2 of us at night. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Cynthia is such a vibe!!! She puts her heart and soul when serving your food. She truly treats you like your family in there. I also love the chicken and carne asada very juicy and filling! We need more people like Cynthia making people feel welcome and at home. That was Forsure a plus. I finally found my new taco place ❤️❤️❤️

Special shoutout to Juan, who helped me place the order — he was truly incredible. He guided me on exactly what and how much to order, made the entire process seamless, and honestly took all the stress out of catering. The service was thoughtful, easy, and completely effortless from start to finish. I already loved going to Benny’s in person, but this was my first time catering, and I was blown away by how perfectly the food traveled. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and just as delicious as if you were eating it in the restaurant. I would 1000% cater from Benny’s again, no question — and I know many of my guests will be doing the same after this experience. When everyone at a party loves the food, that’s the ultimate win. This was our very first stop in Los Angeles, and honestly, Benny’s Tacos set the bar impossibly high for everything that came after. The bowl was absolutely surreal, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. But the real showstopper was the burrito. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life. The combination of pinto beans and carne asada was pure perfection, smoky, tender meat with creamy beans wrapped in every bite. The kind of thing you think about long after you’ve left. If you’re landing in LA and don’t know where to start, start here. You won’t regret it.

Undoubtedly the best hard shell tacos I’ve eaten in my life. The people here are experienced Mexican cooks and super friendly. You can see the Kitchen while you wait. They cut everything fresh and their meats are definitely cooked with love, you can taste. Come in a gorge in the feast of Benny’s Tacos.

Soooo close to 5 stars I got the 2 taco plate with 1 carnitas taco and 1 al pastor Taco with pinto beans. The flavors were excellent, even the pinto beans were impressive. However tasty, my al pastor was quite tough. Red salsa is very good and has some nice spice to it, but not hot. Verde is good as well and went very well with the carnitas. Wish I had time to come back to see if the al pastor was a fluke or not, but overall very pleased.

Decided to check this place out while visiting a family member at a nearby hospital and I was craving tacos. I gotta say, I was surprised by the food. I ordered a few tacos, I chose asada, pastor, barbacoa, and a fish taco. The pastor and asada meat were great, well seasoned and tender. The barbacoa was smokey, tender, and well seasoned(probably my favorite one). The fish lacked seasoning in my opinion, but all the ingredients they add on top were fresh. The only thing I will complain about were the tortillas. The ones we got were dry and hard. Their salsas are great, and so is the service. Parking can be difficult to find, the establishment is in a corner plaza with a handful of parking spaces. Street parking is available around the neighborhood, but check street signs. Overall, great spot for tacos in that area.
