We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Please note we are closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Not only were the tarts as delicious as ever but the service was just as pleasant. All I can say is you won’t regret this purchase. Fresh & flavorful, these tarts always steal the show!
Wanna be the talk of the potluck party? People will ask over and over again, who brought these little tarts. My goodness!!! The sweet potato pecan and the regular pecan mini tarts are RIDICULOUSLY ADDICTING, I've had company fight over who's going to get the last one. They have other flavors (tarts: lemon, peach and apple) but those 2(pecan) are my favorite. Gwen's bakery can easily be missed as you drive down Labrea. In order to get into their driveway you have to almost come to a complete stop. There is a small hill and Gwen's is nestled in the back, next door to a party supply. You'll see Gwen's red and white building once over the hill. The cake I had was average (don't remember the flavor but it probably was chocolate) . The tarts are a MUST! I go for every holiday's and potluck's and the guest love me.
I visited this shop for the first time today and was greeted by the lovely Ms. Anita. She gave me a little background on the shop while she prepared my order. Their tarts are little bites of perfection and I wish I’d ordered more. I highly recommend this shop for their high quality treats and excellent customer service.

I have been going to Ms. Gwen’s for the last 16 years for our cakes, including my three tier wedding cake she made in 2009, and she is still the best!!!

This was my first time at this location but I've tried the mini tarts at various events. PROs: quality is worth the price, variety of baked goods, and flavor is not too overwhelming. CONs: Parking and they sellout. TAKEAWAY: Plan accordingly, if you have an event call ahead. If you just want to pop-in, anything they have is good --just try it. There is a nice variety of tarts and other sweets at different price points are reasonable but not cheap. I was lucky enough to get the tart warm, and parking. I will return to try more tarts, cakes and the pralines.
Outstanding service and best cake I've ever tasted. ordered a cake for my daughter baby shower and it was gone in a hour. Constantly receiving calls asking " where did you get that cake!" I ordered a half carrot and half strawberry cake at the last minute and I was very pleased. Thank you!

The mini-pies (which are referred to as tarts here) are to die for! Every flavor is unreal...peach cobbler, apple cobbler, lemon, sweet potato, pecan, and last, sweet potato&pecan are ALL delectable. Muy delicioso!! Grab a dozen and enjoy...

Cakes to die for. You will want a second piece of cake. Look out Susie's because Gwen is in town and doing great in her baking of Pies and Cakes. Love you in Inglewood keep it up Gwen.
I went to Southern Soul food then stopped by Gwen's to ask questions. She blessed me with 3 samples of her little tart pies. And, my GOD, it was AMAZING. I could hardly believe I'm doing 2 reviews in one day. But I had to share how my palate is WELL PLEASED. They are not too sweet, their perfect!
Stopped at Gwen's while grabbing lunch at another kitchen and purchased Lemon tarts, sweet potato tarts, peach cobbler tarts, pecan, and pecan/sweet potato tarts. We took a sample of each one while waiting in our food. Our favorites were the lemon and peach cobbler tarts. So much so, I went back in and ordered some to take home for family. The CRUST was absolutely to die for and they even warmed the peach cobbler one up for us. Thank you Gwen's!!!
Ms. Gwen did catering for my daughter’s Baby Shower and it was AMAZINGLY YUMMY with beautiful presentation. Her assist Brien was a fantastic service with a great personality. Our guests asked who cooked the food, so she will definitely get new business. Here are a few Brunch items she made, although it’s too much to mention every item: Shrimp (spectacular) Grits Quiche Waffles Country Fried Potatoes Fried Chicken Wings Fruit Tarts Cupcakes Please get you next Plate or Cakes from Ms. Gwen ❤️❤️❤️

Ms Gwen built a great cake for a work anniversary! She helped coordinate delivery and used some custom graphics to decorate. I really appreciate her & her team to create a great work memory for us.
The lemon and pecan tarts are my favorite. Buy don't get me wrong. I will eat all of them with no problem, be sure to place your order in ADVANCE. Especially, for the holidays. And if you need a caterer. I definitely recommend Gwen. Her food is delicious. Treat yourself and your guest. You won't be disappointed. Good Eating.

I was referred to this Company weeks about by a close friend, who sweared by them. I was disappointed with my visit on 2/27/2016 10:08 am. I arrived with my 17 year old Niece. First we had to wait for the owner to unlock the door. When it was finally unlocked so we could go in, a young lady opened the. I acknowledge her 3 times and still received no response. Count them 1 hello and 2 good mornings. My niece even made mention of this rude behavior after we left. The tarts were OK nothing to write home about, and I must say the owner was quite pleasant. Before my transaction was complete another customer came in and just started shooting questions to the owner who was assisting me, I was raised to respect your elders, but what ever happen to manners! Also the owner should have completed with me. I am just saying.
