This was my first time at this location but I've tried the mini tarts at various events. PROs: quality is worth the price, variety of baked goods, and flavor is not too overwhelming. CONs: Parking and they sellout. TAKEAWAY: Plan accordingly, if you have an event call ahead. If you just want to pop-in, anything they have is good --just try it. There is a nice variety of tarts and other sweets at different price points are reasonable but not cheap. I was lucky enough to get the tart warm, and parking. I will return to try more tarts, cakes and the pralines.

Outstanding service and best cake I've ever tasted. ordered a cake for my daughter baby shower and it was gone in a hour. Constantly receiving calls asking " where did you get that cake!" I ordered a half carrot and half strawberry cake at the last minute and I was very pleased. Thank you!

This bakery made my mother in law's birthday a hit! The cake was moist and so delicious! Thank you for putting love in this cake when you made it. Happy customer.

The mini-pies (which are referred to as tarts here) are to die for! Every flavor is unreal...peach cobbler, apple cobbler, lemon, sweet potato, pecan, and last, sweet potato&pecan are ALL delectable. Muy delicioso!! Grab a dozen and enjoy...

We live in the bay and anytime we are in the LA area we stop by to get our fix. The best sweet potato tarts period, the cakes are good too ...

I went to Southern Soul food then stopped by Gwen's to ask questions. She blessed me with 3 samples of her little tart pies. And, my GOD, it was AMAZING. I could hardly believe I'm doing 2 reviews in one day. But I had to share how my palate is WELL PLEASED. They are not too sweet, their perfect!

Stopped at Gwen's while grabbing lunch at another kitchen and purchased Lemon tarts, sweet potato tarts, peach cobbler tarts, pecan, and pecan/sweet potato tarts. We took a sample of each one while waiting in our food. Our favorites were the lemon and peach cobbler tarts. So much so, I went back in and ordered some to take home for family. The CRUST was absolutely to die for and they even warmed the peach cobbler one up for us. Thank you Gwen's!!!

Ms. Gwen did catering for my daughter’s Baby Shower and it was AMAZINGLY YUMMY with beautiful presentation. Her assist Brien was a fantastic service with a great personality. Our guests asked who cooked the food, so she will definitely get new business. Here are a few Brunch items she made, although it’s too much to mention every item: Shrimp (spectacular) Grits Quiche Waffles Country Fried Potatoes Fried Chicken Wings Fruit Tarts Cupcakes Please get you next Plate or Cakes from Ms. Gwen ❤️❤️❤️

Truly the best southern pies. Taste like my grandmother made them. So grateful for her talents, really makes me feel like home!

The lemon and pecan tarts are my favorite. Buy don't get me wrong. I will eat all of them with no problem, be sure to place your order in ADVANCE. Especially, for the holidays. And if you need a caterer. I definitely recommend Gwen. Her food is delicious. Treat yourself and your guest. You won't be disappointed. Good Eating.

I was referred to this Company weeks about by a close friend, who sweared by them. I was disappointed with my visit on 2/27/2016 10:08 am. I arrived with my 17 year old Niece. First we had to wait for the owner to unlock the door. When it was finally unlocked so we could go in, a young lady opened the. I acknowledge her 3 times and still received no response. Count them 1 hello and 2 good mornings. My niece even made mention of this rude behavior after we left. The tarts were OK nothing to write home about, and I must say the owner was quite pleasant. Before my transaction was complete another customer came in and just started shooting questions to the owner who was assisting me, I was raised to respect your elders, but what ever happen to manners! Also the owner should have completed with me. I am just saying.
