Overall, the fries are great, I just feel they use too much ketchup & mustard on the burgers. The staff is friendly and nice
Ordered on 05/28 about 2am, we had just flew in and after experiencing one delayed flight after another we were happy to get to our hotel and find a restaurant open and offering delivery (DoorDash). Surprisingly, the food was still hot when it arrived and it was good! So hungry I forgot to take pictures. Glad to be moving here near a Rally’s it’s a great late night go to!
Well my friend and I wanted In and Out but it was 9pm and the line was too long. So we decided to try something different. RALLY'S!!! and It was good burger We had a combo #2 with fries and a coke. I liked thier fries crunchy and delicious our burger came with a double patty with bacon it was tasty could not complain.Service was good, we had order threw the drive thru so We took it home and we were full and satisfied!!! Can't believe my burger was good. First time trying a Rally's burger too.
I have not been to Rally's in a long time but I remember my younger brother Sean who is battling childhood leukemia who sadly passed away at the age of 15 on November 9th 1998 absolutely loved Rally's! I have not been to Rally's in many many years I used to go to the one that used to be on Venice boulevard near West LA Kaiser ! I believe my favorite sandwich was a blue cheese cheeseburger
Your my favorite fried chicken spot. When the oil is fresh that chicken skin is so crispy n crunchy that im in heaven.
I like the Church's on 54th and Figueroa. The spicy chicken is just right, not too spicy, always fresh and seasoned just right. The staff is friendly too. Not much atmosphere, it's a chicken dive in the neighborhood. I always get my order to go.
The cashier was very patient and helpful in helping us the best meal for our buck, which nowadays I really appreciate with the economy being the way it is.
They always have specials there 3pc 5.29 . The girls there are sweet as can be considering the fact that there in the hot oven part of the building. They love to dance listen to music . One time I decided to go to churches since in a local so I walked there and the cashier took my order thru the drive thru window. Awesome ! The lemon pie , the apple pie and the Texas style biscuits are out of this world.
Though there not perfect, I believe Church's is underrated. Mine's, is a Los Angels perspective, though I live in the Bay. Gone is Jim Dandy, Golden Bird-well, there may be a few of those left-and Pioneer. But not Churches. As far back as the late 70s, my family has been eating their chicken.🍗 My Mom would stop by the Churches there on the corner of Vernon Avenue and Western, smack dab in ‘the hood,’ after the meeting was over at the local Kingdom Hall that’s been on Vernon for years, and still is. Only now it’s a double Hall. If fact, I prefer Churches chicken over, (West of East Texas) Popeye's, and Kentucky Fried chicken. You can use just one thigh from KFC to oil down if you have ashy issues. Heck, you can probably do the same thing with Churches! Really, after it's just been fried, I'll take two of those wing/thigh pieces. They go rather nicely with a Heineken. Pray for me.🏃♂️👍🦴💣 Don't sleep on their deep fried okra either.
First time trying Rally's burgers.. this place is a drive-thru only spot with 2 drive windows. The wait wasn't too long for the food and the burgers were pretty good. Place looks fun, sort of like an old style diner. Good place.
Normal fast food where the cashier rings in multiple orders from drive thru and for dining..making the cooks rush on making sandwiches for fast service..I like the chicken sandwich better then the bugers
Pay for a large Fries and get a small one instead. Slow service. Doesn’t accept American Express or MasterCard, but walk up with an EBT and you’re good. 😂😂😂. It’s a hood location, but the cravings for fries won. Wouldn’t come back.
Good hamburgers at a reasonable price compared to other fast food burger places.
Is Church's Chicken? What do you expect? But you go there for the chicken. It's hard finding service people all over. Especially people with an attitude that have to work day before Christmas Eve but I'm there for the chicken. They're not many churches, chickens live, but this is the BW of all chickens. It's tasty and those pies are extra delicious. They're dangerous. I'm not happy with the other flavors but the regular original is my thing
Rallies is always really tasty. They had a great five dollar deal with fries choice of a western burger or just a regular burger drink and chicken bites. I got one of each burger at 10 out of 10 recommend the regular burger not a fan of the bacon burger the chicken bites not sure about those either the fries were delicious and the soda was OK. What a preferred to have gotten an iced tea With no sugar the service was great. The price was good the location of it sketchy 10 out of 10 recommends the french fries and the regular burger.
Lines was kinda long. Food was okay, spicy chicken sandwich was good, fries was kinda stale. My husband had the rally burger, which he said was okay. Love their funnel cake fries too! 😋
We bought the two t pain meals and some loaded fries. Service was good but the food was overly salty. Love food that is seasoned good but overly salty is another story. We’ve had food from other rally’s at other locations and saltiness hasn’t been the issue. Maybe they heavy handed season the nuggets and fries but it made it unable to be eaten. We trashed it. I would still give this place a chance maybe ask for the fries and nuggets to be unseasoned then I’ll update if it made a difference. Service was good and fast. Just the issue with saltiness.
Homeless beggars in the drive thru when ordering food. This place hasn't had a make over or upgrade since it was buildt. When she opened the drive thru window it sounded like it was gonna fall out.
The service is very horrible they always have an attitude and it’s only one employee that doesn’t and that’s the young man other than that the food is cool.
The food is good. I enjoy the spicy chicken strips with fries and lemonade. The staff is a hit or miss. You can tell some don't like working there. Understandable, of course. The building is in need of updating/remodeling.
Bang for the buck. $ 4.44 meal comes with fried leg and thigh complimented with freshly baked biscuit, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The food is delicious and includes all components, the saltiness, the tanginess and the spiciness. The customer service is okay but not fantastic. Wait time is longer than expected. But the place is very poorly maintained. We opted to eat outside in our car because the tables were totally a messy affair. But the food is great no greasiness unlike some fried chicken outlets.
When you get your order, please check your food before pulling away. They kind of rush you when you order. They don't repeat your order, and they don't ask you if you want any condiments. This was one of my favorite places to eat since 1990 and didn't have any problems with my orders (until now), but now I'm not so sure.
Filthiest drive thru I have entered in a while, and I live in Los Angeles. Trash everywhere, thank God I didn't get a flare tire. Making a order was time consuming and In talking about waiting at the speaker for damn near 20 minutes. No joke. The lady couldn't really communicate in English too well, but I'm not hating, imagine me taking a order in Spanish. But the pauses in between like she wanted us to drive out without ordering. Told me the desert was only served for breakfast. Like fried cheese cake is a breakfast food! But other than that they had a really good deal, burger, fries, a tiny kid size drink, and a apple pie under $5. It was like $4.50 give or take a few nickels. So perfect if you don't have a lot of money or if you wanna get everybody a combo it will be under $20 to feed 4 people. Not healthy, duh. But that's what you can get for less than $5, and they are open late, I think 24hrs.
Ordered for delivery, got unsweetened instead of sweet tea, no Mac & cheese that was part of one order, no mashed potatoes that was part of the other order. No sauces or condiments either, just plain chicken. Basically $42 for 9pc wings and a 2pc. Bag was sealed so it wasn't the driver. Atrocious service.
Table, floors and seats were sticky. Food was mediocre, no sugar free drinks. Stay away from this location. Also there were 3 flies on the window and near my food.
Second visit, food has been good and hot. But i wanted a apple pie and she gave me the sweet potato pie tonight. ugh ! And why advertise baked mac n cheese ? But its so far from baked guys. But they really need to fix speaker box for drive thru ordering, i waiting felt like 30 minutes smh. And maybe hire more, new employees. That are nicer, and actually want to work and make money. Oh check ur bag before leaving, I read reviews they didn't put an item in the bag, I checked my bag and i didn't have napkins or a fork for my mac n cheese but the girl ran away so fast and didn't come back, had to get the other employee attention, and he seemed sooooooo annoyed that I bothered him for a fork. ugh.MY BAD.
I was literally starving and the service was so discriminatory here I didn’t feel comfortable even eating the food and decided to get a refund. Discrimination / racism is never okay and we work hard for money, I won’t waste it on people who laugh at me and make wierd faces when I talk. I will be reaching out to corporate since this is not the first time and if I do not get a response I will seek legal aid.
My chicken bites was re-cooked and hard. Waited a full 35 minutes before I got my food for this bs. Then I ask the cashier did he have barbecue sauce in my bag, he said yes and there was none ; including no napkins! I’m very disappointed. You’ll will never ever see me there. Only the fries was fresh!!
Every item I order was horrible. The amount of money we spend on these app just to get food that either was sitting for hours or someone has no cooking skills. We order 3 different combo meals and the food looked and tasted old. We will never patronize this business ever again.
I got my order and went home. I had no forks or sauces. My loaded fries were still frozen. Just all bad.i didn't get any marinada for my cheese sticks. The employees were back there talking back to each other and hugging afterward. I don't know what's happening at this location, but it's getting bad. Never going there again
Very poor customer service from the heavyset, female Hispanic manager at drive-thru(swing shift). Bad enough it was the left side order and the female manager didn’t and would not BUDGE to extend her arm not even 1 foot outside the drive-through window. Customers need to lay down on their right side just to extend their arm to grab their food?? NOT ACCEPTABLE at all.
I love Churches but this location is horrible. The customer service and the girl who helped me is TRASH! I went through the drive thru and the car in front of me had to wait 10/15 minutes for the cashier to even take his order. You could tell he was frustrated with his service as well. The young girl G.Cruz with the tattoos on her neck and arms was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I asked questions she was curt and sounded like a she was in a rush to get me out of the way so she could leave early to party for the new years. The sign said they closed at 10. I arrived at 730. She told me they were closing when I was trying to order more food and even said I would wait. People like her who don't like to work or cater to others should not be in fast food. She would do better on Figueroa Street. She would probably make what she makes working there and wouldn't have to do much. I didn't deal with the other people only the girl. She ruined my whole experience and I will never come to this location again. The owners of this location should look into their financial. If you see a drop in profits, I can guarantee you it's the service.
Lorena S was my server. My simple order was not processed as requested. The 88 yr old mother was looking foward to the simple request of certain pieces being REGULAR (because she cannot consume spicy) and it was still incorrect. BUT, Ms Lorena made SURE that she removed the bisquit from the order.
This was the worst place ever I waited in the Drive-Thru for 15 minutes I went into the store and have to wait another 15 minutes. Didn't even get my food at all
This place is disgusting!! Employees barely speak english along with giving attitude. The inside is filthy!! They had the nerve to have somebody mopping the floors with a strong smelling product like ammonia while cooking food and mopping around a customer eating, it was so disgusting. I don't live in that area will NEVER go back!! Not to mention food was cold. SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT GO THERE!!
