Hermosa Saloon

This is an awesome bar to hear great live music. There are so many great bands that play here. If you like live rock music and blues music (let's throw in some Johnny Cash, R&B even ecletic bands and original music) this is a happening bar. No cover, reasonable drink prices, beer, wine and hard liquor (call a cab!). The staff is really cool and friendly too. My only complaint is that there aren't enough bars that have live music in the South Bay.

Awesome little dive. Friendly staff, pool table in the back, live music on Fridays and I think Saturdays. They even have open mic night on Wednesdays. Be prepared to shout to the bartenders if there is live music, because it's a small place and they can pack it. They just had ladies night and OMG is all I can say about the male strippers they brought in for us girls. I am already counting the days to the next one.

Friendly helpful staff. A girl can go in here by herself to watch a game and not be bothered. Lots of nice patrons. Hot dogs with tons of toppings on Football Sundays :) Good selection of beer and full bar.

Love this bar. All the bartenders are super nice. There is a lot of room for you and all your friends. And don't worry if you show up alone, the patrons are all friendly as well. Every time I go, I end up having a good conversation with someone. They have pool and an old school ring toss, so you will be entertained. They also have karaoke on Sundays! You can also bring your own food. What more could you ask for.

Had a great time at Hermosa Saloon on a Thursday night! Sara was our bartender, and she was awesome — loved her dry sense of humor and great service. The juke box kept the vibe going, and the laid-back feel of the bar made it a perfect spot to unwind.

Service and the overall atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I really missed old-school classic dive bars and this place provided exactly what I needed. Several months up date as of 03.19.22 this has become one of my favorite places to visit. Some of the best friendliest and amazing bar tenders around. My only draw back is on days I can't walk or stand I use my wheelchair and it's an extremely tight fit to get in the door and the restroom is not at all handicap accessible or large enough to hold the two stalls it actually has . But besides that. I have no complaints. Waiting for the warmer weather to enjoy outdoors again.

Hermosa Saloon has always been great for stiff drinks, friendly bartenders, and an unpretentious crowd. They sometimes have live music performances, but have electric type "juke boxes" that you can pay to play your favorite tunes. It's not a fancy place, but it's great to grab a drink and pull up a stool to the bar and start taking to your neighbor!

I went there with my girlfriend and her cousin on Sunday afternoon. They had a live band playing there. We decided to play pool though. The bartender was a tall guy and very attentive to us. It was definitely a laid back bar with lots of locals. Definitely a chill place indeed....🍻🍹🍸🍷🥃🥂

Hermosa Saloon has always been great for stiff drinks, friendly bartenders, and an unpretentious crowd. No food, but the bartender has menus from the local restaurants offering take out & delivery. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon when I got there, and the bartenders, and local regulars were pretty friendly. A pleasant enough place to while away an hour or two.

There's food places close by and some other clubs. Drinks are reasonable and it's pretty mellow vibe. Still the same after all the change in Beach cities.
