Beautiful remodel. Haven't been here since precovid Feb 2020. Bar closed at midnight on Saturday, not sure why but drinks were good and it still has the great vibes.

Classic neighborhood bar. It is Hermosa South End Cheers. Good for weekend football. Timmy might be the longest running bartender in the South Bay.

The Hermosa Saloon has been upgrading!! They have renovated and there is more space and less stage obstruction! They have a nice elevated stage for the live bands. If you go on Friday or Saturday night go before 9 PM to avoid the cover charge. Yes it is still worth the $5 cover and this is to help I'm sure pay the musicians They support local.live music which is dying out people!! We need to keep this alive. They also are upgrading the music. You will get so.e good variety. I put a pic of Like Zeppelin... The lead singer is FANTASTIC. They have amazing guitarists and the drummer rocks. I mean it's not easy to nail Zeppelin. Anyway on Wednesday night they have an open mic and the musicians are friendly and the styles are diverse. You do need to go around 8 for sign ups. The alcohol is full bar. Not just beer and wine and the prices are good. They have started carrying some great brands and more choices in each category. They have good security and as a woman this is important. The security guy actually pays attention and when a guy tried to grab onto me too rough before I could hit the guy the doorman Tim had him off and out. No scuffle no brawl. EXPERT! That had never happened to me there so that's another thing. The upgrades and better music and cover keeps the kooks away. It's a classier local bar!! But has the cool "dive bar" vibe. They have giant Jenga and a ami juke box. TUESDAY NIGHT IS LADIES NIGHT.. brand new and I may just have to check it out with my squad... parking is mediocre they have a small lot and there is a free public lot but not tons of space so if you coen late park across at the CVS. I suggest UBER OR LYFT anyway of you're drinking. If you like my review give it a like. If you have a question let me know.

She was "really good"...a sound you'd expect to hear on the radio. Amazing...goosebumpy! If you just want a night out...this is the way to go. They draw a good local crowd of super people...(one high profile T.V. actor was there with his beautiful lady) all there to have fun...dance the night away. Drinks are what they should be and there is enough staff to keep it flowing. Ambiance is casual, relaxed atmosphere and the music takes you away from the hassle of everyday life. One to remember!

This is a University of Georgia bar. I was there for the Rose Bowl and thought I'd drop in. It's a nice bar with good patrons. They have a good selection of local draft beers, the bartenders are friendly and prices are fair.

This is a University of Georgia bar. I was there for the Rose Bowl and thought I'd drop in. It's a nice bar with good patrons. They have a good selection of local draft beers, the bartenders are friendly and prices are fair.

No cover, reasonable drink prices, beer, wine and hard liquor (call a cab!). The staff is really cool and friendly too. My only complaint is that there aren't enough bars that have live music in the South Bay.

Be prepared to shout to the bartenders if there is live music, because it's a small place and they can pack it. They just had ladies night and OMG is all I can say about the male strippers they brought in for us girls. I am already counting the days to the next one.

My only draw back is on days I can't walk or stand I use my wheelchair and it's an extremely tight fit to get in the door and the restroom is not at all handicap accessible or large enough to hold the two stalls it actually has . But besides that. I have no complaints. Waiting for the warmer weather to enjoy outdoors again.

I like this place but I wasn't overly impressed. I thought it might be more charming but it was more of a basic dive. The bartender was pretty apathetic and slow even though we were two of 5 people in there. I still enjoyed myself all the same and would probably give it another try.

Pretty laid back place. Four out of towners walk in, and within an hour felt right at home among the mostly local crowd. Decent happy hour prices. Would return if I ever find myself thirsty and I'm in the area.

Great venue and top notch service from the bar tender. Watched a friend play on stage while we enjoyed drinks at the bar. As a first time visitor I'm sure to return!

I use to frequent this dive bar many years ago. At least 10 years I have NOT been there until recently. They have changed the inside of the place a it a nd have made it quite a bit nicer by opening up the bar area more. They took so e walls down aznd removed a pinball na home that used to be off to the side near a window. The clientele seems to have changed a little. Probably for the good. Anyways, it was fun to go back to an old favorite pub/bar.

It’s ok, use to be much more fun, the crowd hasn’t changed in 20 years, but not bad.

Ordered a Dirty Martini, they were out of olive juice. But I had a Martini anyway, only one but when I went to pay I placed a $20 on the bar... however the bartender kept walking by me and ignoring me but looking my way out of the corner of his eye. He acted very strange. I finally got his attention but it took at least 20 minutes and they were not busy. I think he just wanted me to leave the $20 on the bar so he'd get a big $10 tip. If I had had 2 drinks I would have fallen for his game. Also still can't believe they had no olive juice.

They have a big sign outside that says "cocktails" so we went in figuring they'd be able to make... you know... cocktails. They didn't have bitters! That's the first ingredient I would buy after the booze if I was running a bar with a giant "cocktails" sign out front.

I’m sorry but it is Saturday Oct. 2nd and as we walk in it is quiet. No music, no country music, no dancing no nothing. It was like walking into the morning office? Where is everyone at?

I am a local. Grew up and still live in SB. I have been going here since I was 21. Never going back. Rude bartender. I try to order a drink and just ask if they have something I enjoy drinking...his response is. "You are in a dive bar. No we dont have that". No need for that type of $#!+. Was out to have a good time. By the way.....i know where the BEEP I was.....I am finito!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes and the two ladies did not even bother look at me or my partner. We felt extremely discriminated against. We were going to celebrate our anniversary. If you're white keep going there, if you're brown don't go there.
