This is such a cute bakery with so many delicious options! I wish that i got more pastries, I’ll definitely be back. The maple roasted apple and brie tile was unlike any pastry i’ve had before. I also loved the chocolate almond croissant, i feel like those usually don’t have enough chocolate but this one had a perfect amount!
Vibrant buzzing bakery, cafe located on Aviation just south of Artesia in the old Giuliano's location. Tommy and Atticus takes the bakery cafe to the next level with a real working bakery making amazing bread and they even have the old school loaf slicers.. they had two sandwich specials a meat and a veggie.. both were outstanding.. the meat coming on a crusty bread and the veggie on soft sliced bread. The blueberry scone is incredible.. somehow it seems dense but light at once if that makes sense. They were doing a flatbread with cheese and cherry tomatoes so fresh and delicious it is hard to decide what to try everything looks so good. Then the coffee and matcha were also excellent. This spot was buzzing on a warm Sunday morning with families and friends enjoying the atmosphere. There is a nice patio outside and tables inside as well. The highlight here is the bread... once you try Tommy and Atticus you might just fall back in love with carbs!
The Baseline: For a bakery the bread has to be crusty, dough-rific goodness, great accompaniments per the bakery’s theme, and good coffee/drinks. September 2025 Review: Food: For my September 21st 2025 visit I got a loaf of Rosemary Garlic Country, Almond Croissants, daily sandwich, and a latte. The Rosemary Garlic Country loaf bread was great with large garlic chunks mixed into the dough to make an amazing bread. The latte was well made with a very ornate foam design. The almond croissant was sweet and layered with flavor. This is truly one of my top ten favorite bakeries in life. Service: Great, fast, efficient service from staff and I really appreciate the foam design extra touch on my latte. Ambiance: There is a great communal feel to the ambiance in the bakery from the staff to the patrons. August 2025 Review: Food: The bread is gooooooood! The sourdough is well made with the nice crustiness and yeasty air pockets. We had a a BLT sandwich, bacon cheese scone, and a potato tart. All items were delicious and had fresh ingredients. The coffee was exceptional and had a good roast. Service: Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They cut my sandwiches, modified my coffee, and gave great suggestions. Ambiance: The bakery has a nice communal table and individual table seating. The bathrooms were clean and parking was easy. There is also outdoor seating available for nice weather days. Updated Review: Had a great experience at Tommy and Atticus. Food: Awesome sandwich today on a baguette with multiple meats and veg. The chocolate croissant was sweet and flakey. Two coffee drinks: Flat white and drip. Both got me caffeinated and happy. I also bought a sourdough loaf. Service: Great service getting me my items quick and super friendly. Makes me want to come back more. Ambiance: I love the feel of Tommy and Atticus as it shows off its love of being a bakery. It was a little loud inside so we took advantage of the outdoor seating until we got too cold. Keeping my review at 5 stars!
Tommy and Atticus in Redondo Beach is a delightful find for bakery lovers! Run by a husband-and-wife team, the bakery features Garret as the talented head baker and Lauren, who warmly manages the ordering counter. Their offerings are top-notch, with a reputation for sourdough breads and bagels made fresh daily. The real stars for me, however, are their croissants—flaky, buttery, and perfectly executed. I especially loved their caramelized croissant, which has an irresistible balance of sweetness and texture. Their sourdough bread is also exceptional, rivaling the quality of Tartine Bakery. We tried half of the smoked salmon bagel, and it was a fantastic breakfast option—fresh and satisfying. The latte was another highlight, with a fantastic espresso flavor that rounded out the meal beautifully. The shop itself is spacious and welcoming, though it does get quite busy during the morning rush. Luckily, parking in the strip mall is a breeze. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their baked goods, particularly the sourdough bread and croissant bread. Highly recommend this bakery if you’re in the area!
Amazing first visit! The staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations. I tried the garlic rosemary sourdough, almond chocolate croissant, and a scone—everything was fresh, flavorful, and baked to perfection. I’ll definitely be back!
This place is local bakery gem for all your bread needs. I've tried their breads and they're all great and worth taking home as it's freshly made. I love their baguettes and other special breads. Their cookies and pastries are also very good. They've expanded their menu as far as brjnfj goes and I got the classic bagel with lox. It was kinda fishy which I was disappointed but I want to go back and try their breakfast bagel sandwich. The coffee is ok. The lines are super long given the popularity so I suggest you go earlier or off times. I'm very glad this bakery establishment has decided to choose the southbay to sell it's bready goods.
Morning spot full with stuff to help you achieve your day. RANCILIO ESPRESSO MACHINE timing is everything. Place could be flooded with peeps . Have your backup pin ready for coffee and pastry
First time visiting and will be back. A short line to the door by it moves super fast. We got bagels (the Works), two pastries and a loaf of sourdough. We ate in, the bagels were delicious and very filling. Had our pastries later in the day and so delicious!
I really like Tommy and Atticus. It’s got a calm, cozy vibe, and it feels like a nice place to take a break and treat yourself. The sugary roll is probably my favorite thing there. It’s soft, sweet, and just really satisfying. I also really enjoy their matcha. It’s smooth and not too bitter, which I appreciate. Not everything on the menu is amazing, but overall I’ve had a good experience. You can tell they put effort into what they make, and it feels like a place that’s still growing in a good way. I’d definitely go back, especially when I want something a little different but still comforting.
Cute local bakery. Came here to grab coffee for a business meeting and it was quite a busy spot at 11am on a Tuesday but we were able to grab places at the communal table. I ordered a pain au chocolat to eat there as well as a croissant for later. I also ordered a matcha latte. Apollo helped me and was such a warm, friendly person. He went out of his way to ensure that my name was spelled correctly and to chat while I paid. I can see why this place is so popular in Redondo!
This is probably my favorite bakery in the South Bay. Not only do they have a lot of sweet and savory treats, but they have a ton of delicious different type of bread loafs, sandwiches, and coffee. Items are made fresh and once they run out, they won’t be restocked until the next day. It’s really popular with the locals, but we drove down from West LA specifically for it and we’re happy that we did so. We grabbed a bunch of different bread items and also one of the sandwiches of the day which was turkey and avocado. Finally we got some cold brew and a latte and every single thing we ordered was fantastic. The staff is also very polite and pricing is fair. It’s located in a shopping mall so parking is free and there is plenty of it. Inside is also quite large so there is room to sit and eat inside if you wish but most people seem to grab to go. I definitely will be back soon to try more items.
Quite frankly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I took a bite of the sandwich of the day and didn’t pause to take a picture. Sourdough baguette had amazing texture and flavor, fresh and hearty ingredients in abundance, great combination. Sampled each of the pastries and they were delicious, fresh and high quality ingredients all around. This place is part of my rotation going forward!
Love this place! Their sandwiches of the day are the best and their bread so soft. Don’t mind the line it moves fast. That it’s always bustling is a credit to their food. Great place for a pastry too. Love how often they change up their selections.

Probably our favorite bakery in the south bay area. Their bread is great but you want to make sure to get there early as they are almost always out of everything by afternoon. Their two sandwiches they make are amazing. They change up the menu so the two they make change every week i think. But possibly our favorite thing they make is after 1:30pm they make pizza. Like the sandwiches, they do a veggie one and a meat one. Probably also the best pizza in the south bay. Maybe not quite as good as appolonia or quarter sheets, but we prefer to get our pizza fix here and save the drive. So worth it. Not too many tables here so we usually take it to go but the pizza is definitley better fresh out the oven.
Amazing food, top notch service. Classic breakfast bagel is astonishingly good all. Hot chocolate is actually worth getting. Don't sleep on the veggie lunch sandwiches! Complaints: There's no button to open the door wheb you're on crutches. Sometimes the baguette sandwich crusts can be tough.

Tommy & Atticus is such a gem! The vibe is warm and welcoming the moment you walk in—cozy but still stylish. The staff really know their stuff and make you feel at home without being overbearing. Their selection feels curated with care, and everything I picked up was great quality. You can tell they put love into the details. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!
We had a plan croissant ⭐️⭐️⭐️ - it was more like a pastry, flaky and crunchy, didn't quite have the buttery taste we’d expect from a traditional croissant. The chocolate almond pastry, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

They charge 75 cents to slice a loaf of bread. I love this place. Been coming here since the day they opened and love supporting a local business with great baked goods. I walk there with my daughters regularly. Most of the staff is awesome too. Good dudes. I wait in the weekend line, and have spent a ridiculous amount of money here. However - even though I pay $10-11 per loaf of bread, THEY CHARGE 75 CENTS to put it in their 5 second auto slicing machine. I feel the knife twisting in my belly every week I buy bread. It’s the principle. Just hide the 75 cents, bro. Put it in the price of the bread so none of us see it… Great place and I’ll keep going, but I’ll keep talking crap about that slicing surcharge to every person I run into. Solid sourdough though.
Good quality bakery. Sandwich bread is a little tough. Scones and croissants are great. Had Vietnamese coffee, mocha, matcha and fruit loop milk-they are just ok. They need to be richer. Will come back for bakery but not drinks or sandwich.

I recently visited Tommy and Atticus and I had the opportunity to try their bacon and cheddar scone, pain au chocolat, and the jalapeno and cheddar sourdough loaf. To me, I find their bacon and cheddar scone highly underwhelming. It was neither savory nor cheesy enough to be considered a savory pastry. You can see in the image there was barely any bacon pieces inside the scone. The pain au chocolat is delicious and above average, but it could be crispier and more buttery. On the bright side, the cheddar and jalapeno sourdough is outstanding. I find the flavors to be well-incorporated throughout the loaf. I will go back for the sourdough.

Pastries assortment abound. Tried the Ham and cheese croissant, Chocolate Croissant, Almond Croissant and cinnamon. Asked if they can warm the Ham & Cheese. They can't. Tried that first and it was cold, chewy and flavor wise, well, let's just say a let's down. Almond croissant, if warmed up for 12 seconds in microwave was good. Cinnamon was chewy and, well, not the best. Chocolate croissant, if warmed was good.

The pastries and bread are delicious. I love the country sandwich loaf. However, on my last visit they told me it was 75cents to slice the sandwich loaf. I’m not sure if this a new policy because this is the first time they told me there was a charge for slicing bread. Although 75 cents isn’t a lot, I’ve never been to a bakery where they want to charge you to slice their bread. I’m wondering if I’m paying for labor or electricity; either way I think it’s ridiculous. When you pay $12 for a loaf a bread, you should be able to get it sliced without charge. Tommy and Atticus, can you enlighten me?
I visited this location this morning with my service animal. A staff member asked me to wait outside because he assumed my dog was a pet. When I explained that my dog is a service animal and offered to show documentation, he laughed. I addressed it directly, and he acknowledged the reaction was inappropriate. The interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.
The coffee here is actually quite alright, but failed to impress me beyond other local offerings. The food, however, did disappoint each of the 4 times I have been. In my most recent visit, I purchased a bacon and cheese scone. When I got about halfway through it, I noticed no taste of bacon whatsoever. When I brought it up to the cashier, they claimed their bacon was 'baked in' to the scone, and that there wasn't anything they could do. Really disappointing that there wasn't even an attempt to make it right, I was shown the door. Would not go again.
