This awesome place feels cozy and welcoming. The food is delicious and good dills...and yes I said DILLS, as opposed to deals 🥒 also the broken mrs packman machine in the corner is a cute touch and looks like its waiting for its coin slot to be filled!

I recently went on a date at Papa Guido's and she loved it. I followed it up by taking one of my best friends to Papa Guido's and he said that pizza changed his lifle. Papa Guido's is a Redondo Beach legend. If you haven't been there you need to go. Everything is good there including the Philly cheesesteak and the meatball sub. I am becoming a regular and I will see you there! DON'T BELIEVE THE HATERS!

Hot and fresh. Our local go-to since I was in high school. Now my Son is in high school and it's still the best pizza and Italian eats in South Bay. Always the right choice!

Papa guidos has been in business for many years now and still have the same quality food and service as the day they opened. There used to be a little breakfast only joint called "snax" that tried to make it at this location but never did well. They inevidively closed down and papa guidos swooped on in. Perfect spot for a locals, laid back pizza place with a 7-11 on one side, and ohearns bar on the other. And ohearns bar always encourages people to go get they're drunk munchies at papa guidos, and never have a problem with people bringing their food in to eat with friends at the bar. The 1 topping large pizza/mojo potatoes/and chicken special is a great value for 2 people with plenty of leftovers...

First time going here & did not disappoint. Very good pizza. Ordered a x-large pepperoni/bacon pizza & was delicious.

I’ve been going here for YEARS and every Time I go now the food gets worse and worse the circle potato’s are greasy either hard over cooked or flimsy grease circles and I’m vegetarian and I can literally taste the fact that they haven’t changed the fry oil I can taste a hint of chicken every visit and please stop giving me bruised potatos I even tried the fried ravioli for them to be over cooked and bone dry I have to say the pizza can be amazing SOMETIMES the sauce is great the dough is great the cheese is great but please do something about the fried food I don’t want to have to stop eating here I just ordered pizza and potato today there where burnt bits in my potatos I would really like to keep supporting you all

The house special is a personal favorite. You get a medium one topping pizza, fried chicken, and mojo potatoes. They are consistent with how they make their food and the price is right!

We showed up after doing an a cappella singing competition with a group of about 45 at 10:30 at night. It was great! They were super nice and managed to feed us well. We sang to our hearts' content. Considering that it was a last minute decision, we couldn't have chosen better.

Great crust, lots of toppings, and you can taste the freshness in the cheese. Ordered medium Papa's special and medium pepperoni with garlic sticks, enough food for a family of 5 with slices for tomorrow. Would recommend for sure!

This place was great, good proce , tasty tasty food!!!! Cheeezy big mozzarella sticks, crispy zucchini and delicious pizza! PLUS the price was SOOOO affordable! They accommodated our kids with the Disney Channel so mommy and daddy ate in peace too lol :)

Pizza slice according to roommate us the best in the south bay and priced reasonably. My preference is other than pizza. Thys far I have enjoyed their French fries tremendously. I suggest a large order as they go fast.

Really great pricing on some pretty delicious and generously portioned pizza. I had the combo which was less than $8 for about half a pizza and a drink. My friend and I went after 12am and it was open for a while after. Definitely a spot for late nights!

Hands down THE best pizza i've had! Always fresh, always piping hot and tastes amazing. They also cater for parties. A few years ago we had a party for our son at a park and asked if they'd deliver for 11am. The pizza turned up EXACTLY at 11 and was hot and the kids loved them! Really recommended!

I have been coming here for a bout 18 years.. and it's as good as ever! My personal favorite pizza place. This place has amazing pizza, calzones, and their Italian Sub is to DIE for. Pair that with cheap prices, and quick service and you've got yourself a great meal. The place has a real "mom and pop shop" feel to it and everyone is real friendly.

A quick and easy Italian Spaghetti meal or a pizza for a reasonable price. This isn't 5 star Italian, but they don't pretend to be so. The serve up fast, tasty food, great for when your working late or tired. I call my orders in and pick them up, and although I don't eat pasta or bread much anymore, I've always enjoyed their take out meals. Great local place. Papa Guidos Pizza is by far the BEST pizza in the South Bay. Their breaded zucchini is insanely yummy. Not to mention the prices for everything is inexpensive. Hard to find a good meal that's inexpensive with the economy being what it is these days.

Papa Guido's is a top spot in my book. I have been eating there for years. Their number 1 combo is a perfect size meal at a great price. Its a small spot with an easy to miss parking lot but it is worth the trip. Their pizza is excellent.

This place makes pizzas that satisfy a certain craving. It's not what I would call gourmet, but its so tasty. It's especially tasty with a beer! I like the pepperoni and the Hawaiian style (pineapple)!

Delicious! Cheesy bread is out of this world and their pizza is great too. Big fan of their personal size pizza. It runs you about 6 bucks plus tip and is a decent size if you want some pizza but don’t want to go overboard.

Recently I moved out of state, but every so often I visit to pick up takeout for my family and fly it back home. The pizza at Papa Guidos is beyond amazing and the mojo potatoes are to die for. It is by far my favorite pizza place, and both delivery and service is quick and efficient. The restaurant is very homey and comforting, and it’s a great place to take a family, team, or friends.

Very satisfied!!! Haven't been here for a while but the return was surprisingly better than before! For locals and nearby neighbor cities it's a sweet gem you would probably underestimate but the pizza is better than Cesar better than Papa and the hut and ye ol ameci down the street ....prices are very affordable! I just fed my family for a very fair price and got exactly what I was craving on this late sunday night. Will return for more when we want pizza again.

The service is good here and the pizza is delicious! They also have good chicken wings but the potatoes are not all that seasoned. The food is hot and fresh and made to order. This is definitely a spot to try when in the area.

The pizza is excellent - not too greasy, not too healthy, and genuinely very well made. It's always hot when I pick it up and the same friendly employees are always there. The wings are really (suspiciously) cheap, delicious, and seasoned with (I think) Frank's Red Hot Sauce. The potatoes are a unique take on fried potatoes and are delicious. This is my pizza place forever.

The pizza is definitely good and the staff are very friendly. My wife and I saw this just down the road from where we live and decided to stop by and are happy we did. The prices are good and everything we've ordered was delicious so far. We have now been going there for pizza and wings every week since trying this out.

They have awesome Bbq chicken pizza and my roommates are addicted to their calzones. I would say they usually deliver to my house at least 2 times a week every week in the 4 months I've lived here now. So that should say a lot.

If its Friday night its Papa Guidos pizza night in our home. Super friendly and delicious. We use them for all our kid's parties as well. Have them double cut it for smaller kid sizes slices. The people giving bad reviews bc its not ny pizza are being silly. Its not supposed to be ny style. If you ny style go to Mulberrys in Bev Hills. This place is awesome. Occasionally there are families that come here, but typically there is just free entertainment of drunks from next door looking for some pizza or a sandwich. Stumbling around trying to act inconspicuous. When you visit, try not to choke on a Papa Guido's Special from laughter. I guess the only thing I didn't like about the place is it makes your clothes smell like a chuckee cheese and the carpet stains I spotted from the late 90's are still there. But maybe that's what makes this place home. Please support these guys, where else are we to stumble to after the bar?

I ordered a pizza after moving aii day when my wife arrived tired 20 min after I ordered l ready to get the pizza and come home She was told there was no order. After calling me I told her it was ordered online. They finally checked their ticket printer the ticket had been there untouched. After apologizing they made the pizza.

I luv Papa Guido's because it is convenient, good (not great*) pizza, small proprietor, AND they make FRIED CHICKEN! This solves the problem of a lactose intolerant family member being able to order takeout from the same place at the same time! * I make my own pizza that is 100% better than ANY pizza place (and you can too!) but often want it faster and no mess...

food always good but they ran out of fried chicken. the substituted chicken wings for their regular chicken. Not an even swap i would say. they gave us 6 chicken wings instead of 5 piece chicken, 1breast, 1wing, thigh, 1leg and 1 extra piece.

They cook the food fast and sometimes the orders are wrong and now the prices are more. So now there are no deal's or coupons for anything. Which sucks. But still food is okay and done quickly.

The Pizza I had was fantastic. But we decided to come, stay and eat our meal in the "Restaurant". Big mistake. It is old, dirty, the tables sticky. Uuuuurg. But with lots of napkins as a table cover it works. So guys: order the very good (!!!) pizza an run ;-)

The amount of dust up there is startling. They need a major cleaning up in the dining area. But, I enjoyed the pizza and the chicken parmesan was decent. They got my order wrong (which I can understand. Mistakes happen) and They offered me another pizza. I said yes and they said it would be over in 15 min. That's it. The delivery guy came up to my door when I answered it and he immediately said,"give me the other pizza". I was NOT informed at all about giving back the old pizza. They generously offered a new one for they're own mistake over the phone. We still had to wait in hunger over an hour for my right food order (from a place right down the street from me) so we ate some of the pizza. The guy started to get frustrated at me like I did something wrong in the first place. He muttered something under his breath as he gave me a dirty look and shoved the pizza at me as he walked away. Not impressed.

Liked this place, but they are very unreliable for delivery. First couple times we ordered they were great. However, this the second time now on a Friday I was unable to use Uber Eats or any other delivery service to order even thou they claim delivery. They also didnt answer there phone. This time they canceled our order after 30 min with no warning or phone call. Unfortunate because we really liked this place originally when we could order here.

Watered down sodas and apparently if you bring a beats pill you can blast your own music smh can't believe I wasted this 3 minutes of my life rating this place . .

After 2 hours of waiting on my delivery I called to see where it was and the cashier claimed she just got the order but would not put my order $50 worth of food in to the cook. And kept asking if I wanted the order to be sent to the cook or not AFTER charging my card. My rate VERY POOR and another bad experience they aren't closed but have you on hold for 1 hr to hang up and now your closed yea ok

They should call it Papa Gross . The pizza is a mediocre at best and the service is horrible. Plus the place looks filthy like it's never been cleaned. This is a good place to start your diet.

What a disappointment! Probably the worst pizza we have ever eaten. The crust was doughy and the toppings were so skimpy! We ordered a large pizza with cheese, sausage, onions, olives and mushrooms. Sounds yummy, nope, it was dry and tasteless. Couldn't even find the toppings and there was hardly any cheese. Dominoes and pizza hut are far superior! Don't order from Papa Guidos .You will be very disappointed. It's the worst!!!! I'd give it zero stars if I could.

I actually love this place as my favorite when it is fresh. But this is the last time they are serving me frozen or day old crust. it's 50-50 on the busy days, and they are willing to serve it, but I'm not willing to pay for it, or eat it anymore. It's the best when it's fresh, but half the time it's not. That's their mistake and not mine anymore. Over and out.

Some of the worst pizza I've had in a while. Cheese was just big rubber piece, the texture was incredibly off putting. On top of that, the delivery took 1.5 hours after we were quoted 45 minutes. Absolutely never trying this place again.

I called in a very simple order for pick up. Caesar salad & mozzarella sticks. Andrea told me order would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 20 min later & order was not ready. Then she forgot to include my salad. I didn't notice until I got home. I called Andrea to tell her my salad was not in my bag & asked if it could be delivered because I'm only a mile away & it was her fault for not including the salad I ordered. She said it could not be delivered. So then I asked for a refund & with attitude she did not know how to do that. Needless to say, she told me her boss would call me tomorrow. We'll see if that happens. I realize this is a small casual pizza place, but is it asking too much for a little customer service???

Coming from the East Coast I just can't seem to find that NY pie with that fresh crispy dough & that special sauce & fresh mozzarella. They say NY style but it's not. I have tried many places starting to think it's just not here.

I used to love this place but I'm updating my review. Last year I got a long black hair wrapped around one of my chicken thighs. I haven't gone for a year since but my daughter said she still loves their pizza and asked to please get it. I said fine and ordered a cheese pizza along with the chicken and potatoes for my roommate. They come home and make me a plate and I decided to try again. I asked for a chicken breast to have with my salad. 2nd bite into the chicken and there was a hair in my mouth, long, and still connected to the chicken! Fail, fail, fail. And you can't get your money back because the girl who answers is very rude and will hang up or say the owner isn't there. I was way too nice for having all these issues. But you know what? I'll just never go again. At least 15 years of eating there and this is what it's come to. GROSS.
