Absolutely delicious pizza! Old school New York style pizzeria! All fresh ingredients, made to order from scratch right in front of you. The lemon chicken pie is to die for! Crispy crust, soft and chewy on the inside, with lemon juice and capers over juicy chicken breast on top. Bob, the boss, leads a cheerful crew of really nice ladies and gentlemen who make you feel like guests in a friend's home. Great selection of ice cold beers to go with a wide variety of entrees. Friendly, authentic atmosphere!

As a recent transplant from New York, I have been searching for real pizza in the South Bay for almost a year and was always disappointed until I randomly ordered from here. Bob, his son Robert, and his gf are so lovely. They have mastered real New York pizza. Why? Because quite obviously they are New Yorkers!!! (in case you can’t hear it in Bob’s Brooklyn accent) Quite frankly, I have been feeling bad for LAers passing off garbage as pizza and had let go of the dream of good bagels and pizza until now. It’s nice to know I have my go-to spot.

Great tasting pizza. Only loses a star because it’s a little greasy and the garlic knots are bad. Update: went up to 5 stars because this place is consistently good. I’ve been trying a lot of pizza spots in the South Bay over the past couple years and this is still my favorite.

pizza just melted in my mouth , had salivafall , also its like a time machine , brought me back to Brooklyn after a first bite … if someone want to try what real pizza tastes like , then this amazing spot is what you need ! And yes i ate my pizza with cappuccino, nobody is perfect in this world!

Inside reminds me of Brooklyn NY. And before this review. People do need to understand pizza in Manhattan and pizza in Brooklyn are very different. "NY PIZZA" isn't just one part of NY. Let's get into it. Upon walking in I was greeted immediately. Asked what they recommend. They said the cheese or pepperoni. I ordered a whole cheese and pepperoni pizza with extra marinara. Pizza was done in a very timely manner. I sat inside to wait and just chilled. Had not a single issue. My order was 100% correct. Price wasn't too bad either. So why the 3 and not a 4 or 5? Dough tasted a bit off. The crust just wasn't tasting 100% too me. Compared to places I've been to IN NY. The cheese and marinara on the other hand? Perfect. Tastes exactly like NY. I will definitely return here and give it another go with other menu items. And maybe upgrade my star rating. I like that it's privately owned and operated. I do love to support local owned businesses any time I get the chance. Cleanliness: very clean Staff: no issues Decor: old style Brooklyn NY Food: definitely better then dominos etc lol Bathrooms: N/A didn't use them

The place is nice and very convenient location. We always pass this place whenever we go to whole foods so my husband and I decided to try this place finally. I wanted to try their NY Style pizza. I had the pepperoni and he chose gluten free sausage pizza. My pizza looks and tastes ordinary pizza nothing fancy. The crust wasn’t that great and the toppings are small. Overall I think the food is 2/5. If you want to try NY Style pizza in LA, go to Joe’s pizza in Santa Monica. They’re good and serve big slices of pizza!

In Short, good for the circumstances I explain below, good dough, light and ok tang but it looks better than it tastes. Now for the more in depth review. So at this point after a year of trying many pizza places in the South Bay we can all agree that a true NY style pizza doesn't exist out here. Many acceptable ones but none are great. The cheesy garlic bread was disappointing. Looked like my nephew was a giving a shot at cooking. Dry with some cheese melted in the microwave. Garlic knots were good. Now for the NY style pizza. It looked good and when I saw it I was excited to dig in. The dough was light and had a little crunch on the crust. Tang exists but I was hoping for a bit more. overall good but a bit underwhelming when I go through the whole experience. Also this spot was a bit pricey but it is located between Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach so it caters to the area.

Ordered a New York style pizza, a Sicilian style pizza, and cheesy garlic bread. The pizzas looked decent, but lacked flavor. I like how you can customize each half of the pizza, but they charge per topping and didn’t include all of the ones that I ordered and paid for. The cheesy garlic bread was burnt, dry, and lacked garlic flavor - the biggest disappointment in the order. I’d recommend considering a different shop for more flavorful pizza.

I have been getting pizza here since 2002 and never had a bad experience! Today I ordered using Uber Eats and the pizza had no taste at all and was stale! Whats going on??? Did you change chefs? Ownership??? So disappointing!

How this place is even still in business is beyond me. I was just scammed by ordering this on Uber Eats and was actually disgusted and appalled. I received a completely uncooked tender, the pizza was probably microwaved and the lettuce in my “salad” (just lettuce and croutons) was brown. Do not order from this restaurant! Edit: I see your reply, Owner. Trust me, I wish I read reviews prior to ordering from here because I’d never order from a business with an owner in such a state of denial. They weren’t two different tenders, unless you consider cooked and uncooked different kinds. Also who charges 7$ for three frozen tenders? Nice value. A pizza sitting under a warmer doesn’t make it a microwave pizza, the quality does. I hope the owner spends some time looking in the mirror and spends less time trying to fight everyone in these reviews.
