Good place to hang out, eat, and enjoy the pier. The good was good, but for us the service was horrible. The waitress and bartender ignored us, but happily served and attended everyone around us. We will be going back to the pier but giving our business to the other places surrounding this place.

Very whatever vibe you feel it to be. I mean its not a high end place, but its definitely easy going kinda vibe. We went during 'happy hour' on a weekday , Tuesday. Spent about 60 incl. tip plus 7 two- hour parking inside a parking structure just around the corner.

Cool place. Self seve chips and salsa. Birrio tacos and burritos are good. Kind of weird ordering food and drink at the bar (maybe a seasonal thing), but it was efficient.

The food was okay, happy hour prices are def worth it. Great place to catch a game and get some drinks. You have to order yourself at the bar so no tableside service. The classic margarita and the chipole pineapple margarita were pretty good.

We love Baja Sharkeez! Foods great, atmosphere is nice and it's right by the pier! We went on a Sunday around 11:30am. They had a brunch service and lunch service started at noon so we had the best of both worlds and ordered a breakfast platter then at noon ordered nachos, wings, and tacos! Everything was very tasty, I just wish they put more chicken in the chicken asada tacos, but the fish taco was great. We sat outside so we were served, but if you sit inside it's self service where you order at the bar and they bring your food and drinks out. It's a casual spot so it's a relaxed vibe and definitely worth a try!

I don't love ordering at the bar and it was really loud but they were playing great music and it was a fun and lively environment. Big area. Lots of seating friendly servers and bartenders. We went for brunch and ordered their special. The quality wasn’t great, but the deal was very affordable. The setting is nice, located in Pier Plaza. The atmosphere was loud due to football games playing. If that lively vibe is your thing, it’s perfect. The biggest downside was the service: the place was packed, and it really showed. We waited nearly an hour just to get the check. As for the 'bottomless' mimosa, it was only refilled once—the waitress never came back to our table, so I was left with an empty glass for quite a while.

This establishment racially discriminated my party and me (a group of latinos). We were told a cover charge was required for entrance--although no signage stated so. Upon entrance, our party noticed other guests were not being charged who entered after us. We left upset and on the way out asked the lady at the register why we were charged when others weren't, and her excuse was she didn't notice the other guests going on as she was "looking down." She told us to talk to the security who checks ID's. When we questioned the security, he brought his manager. Once the manager arrived, he alleged that they do not charge "locals" who live in the area--meaning only white people who predominantly live in the beach city. The manager didn't even try to listen to us or seek to understand, so our party left. We will never be returning to this bar moving forward.

Food is great but both times I’ve gone (once with my friend and once with my bf) the waitresses make it extremely obvious they don’t care about you and don’t want to serve you. Only thing I can think is it’s because we’re younger then the people that come in buying drink after drink. First time the lady charged us for chips that we never got, never gave us waters until I had to go to the BAR to ask for some, and food took about 40 mins when tables were empty. Second time I went it was just uncomfortable. We’d ask questions and she’d roll her eyes and just say “idk tbh” then she’d bop her pen on the notepad to show she was impatient. Again, had to ask someone else for water because we asked her 3 times and she didn’t care, and waited 30 mins for food while we watched all new tables of hers get food in a matter of minutes. Seems like a nice place but they will %100 judge you on how they think you’ll tip and your age / how you look.
