It was nostalgic but we’ve never been here before. Great place to grab a drink. Very cool old school lounge vibe. Had dinner and drinks at the bar. Staff was very friendly as were the other patrons. My aperol spritz was great. The lobster bisque was also delicious.

Service was top notch! Kirk the bartender was very friendly, knowledgeable of his bar, menu, and the local Hermosa area. The owner happened to be in at the bar while I was visiting, we were talking about how great Hermosa is and how the opportunity for his new venture is equally important. This is clearly a true restaurateur , after talking for a bit he noticed I was finished with my plate and cleared it. The food was right on the money. I had the hunter’s pie. The vegetables had a sweetness to them that only the freshest ingredients taste of. The blend of meat is so much more than just the classic lamb/shepherd pie. Fox and Farrow is nailing it. Come check this place out.

Went to Fox and Farrow tonight for dinner with some friends. What a wonderful evening. The ambiance is great, they did a great job renovating the space, the music wasn’t overbearing and to top it off—the food and choices of food were outstanding. We shared the veggie board and pheasant sausage plates - both delicious. The Caesar salad has wonderful flavor (we asked for it chopped). I had the beef skewers and the meat was melt in your mouth delicious. My friends had chicken skewers (equally delicious), Mac n cheese and beef sliders. We were all very happy with our choices. May I add, the aperol spritz was one (or 2😂) of the best I have had. The next time I visit Hermosa, Fox and Farrow will definitely be at the top of my list. Give it a try - you won’t be disappointed.

Great spot with impeccable service and a cute atmosphere. Great location just off the Hermosa Beach pier and easy parking nearby. Staff is friendly and generous with the drinks. I personally found the food a bit too sweet for my taste. Several savory dishes we ordered had components that tasted too sweet and threw the balance of the dishes off. Desserts, however, were excellent.

Fox and Farrow is one of my favorite restaurants in the South Bay. Unique and delicious menu and always great service. I love the salmon, the pheasant and the lobster bisque soup! A great dining experience with elevated ocean views, nestled right above Hermosa Brewery. Definite a 5 star experience.

Without a doubt Fox and Farrow is my #1 go to spot in Hermosa Beach. The people are genuine, engaging, personable and so fun. The food quality is top shelf. You must try the Thai Sticky Ribs, best I’ve had. The chicken kabobs w/ peanut sauce and Hunters Pie were incredible. The atmosphere is fun and so comforting. The cocktails are very creative and so satisfying. I cannot say enough good things about the Fox and Farrow. It is a warm, welcoming place that has amazing food and great people. Please make it part of your plan if you are in Hermosa Beach. It is a staple for me.

Without a doubt Fox and Farrow is my #1 go to spot in Hermosa Beach. The people are genuine, engaging, personable and so fun. The food quality is top shelf. We are visiting from Las Vegas and staying in a hotel nearby. I looked up nearby restaurants and found this place. Made reservations and was seated promptly upon arrival. The decor and ambiance was very comfortable and consistent with the speakeasy vibe others commented on in their reviews. We were immediately impressed with the service, the person waiting on us turned out to be managing partner. I ordered a cosmo and it was one of the best I’ve had! The arugula salad and salmon dishes were delicious and the bruschetta was also very tasty as well as unique. Definitely would come back and recommend this place to locals.

Drinks were wonderful…I had the Sir Winston (basically F&F’s take on an Old Fashioned) and my girlfriend had the Cheeky Fellow (tequila based). I really like the appetizers, specifically the truffle fries and the pretzel loaf. We also had the mac & cheese which was good but we both felt was a little lacking in flavor. Then the food came. Girlfriend got the steak, which I tried some and found perfectly cooked, just a little too light on the seasoning. I had the duck pasta. Again, a wonderful dish where I feel a pinch of extra salt could go a long way. I’m no chef…and I do find the story of this restaurant’s chef to be very inspiring, and his love of food is undoubtable…but that is my one honest critique of this restaurant. Otherwise I enjoyed my time and I am very much open to returning for happy hour and to try out those sliders which look delicious!

Overall, it was really the service we received that will ensure we never return, super bummed bc I know Chef Darren has been an iconic local chef in the South Bay and clearly many, many other patrons have had an incredible experience here. :(

The atmosphere is fantastic - love the dark European pub vibe, beautiful lights, art and furniture, however every other aspect of our experience was disappointing. The waitress maybe smiled once throughout our entire service and generally gave the impression that our presence was an inconvenience for her - this really put damper on the entire night that was meant to be celebratory. Honestly the food and drink were okay at best. The sweet and spicy lobster soup was insanely sweet. Like way more then you would want. And the drinks were just okay. I can't say I'd recommend.

The place claims to be “Michelin ish taste”, but when I sent back half of my salmon dish I wasn’t even asked what happened, they just took it. No questions like what happened, or should we pack it, just took half of $32 dish and did nothing. Do not recommend. I am beyond disappointed. Also 20% “gratitude” was included in my check without the possibility to take it off, even we barely had 5 words from the water during the night.
