We have been here a few times and enjoyed everything from Machaca to Carnitas to our new favorite… Fried avocados (pictured) Never heard of it before, but now we’re hooked. And a shout out to Eduardo and the rest of the staff there. Very attentive, professional, and genuinely interested in their customers. Oh, and I can’t forget about their Dog Meal. I would’ve photographed that too but, well, it didn’t last very long. Our pup can’t wait to come back!

so glad i came. they have indoor and outdoor seating and they gave me a choice. i was constantly being checked on and i love the humor the staff has. i went during the evening so they had live music. it wasn't crowded considering it was dinner time. the food was great but i gotta say my favorite part was the drink i ordered, i definitely recommend the mangoneada. i ordered the california burrito, which is as big as my face. it comes enchilada style unless you say otherwise.

We travel 2 1/2 hours to dine in the restaurant. The food was excellent. I ordered the Mojara Frita and it was delicious, they cooked it perfectly, crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. But let me tell you about their Cadillac Margarita, it was the best margarita I’ve ever had. Service is amazing and consistent and the atmosphere was inviting.

The food and service were impeccable! We were checked on frequently, always with such friendly attitudes. Some may like that level of attentiveness, and some may not — but we loved it! I was skeptical about ordering the shrimp cocktail because it can be hit or miss at some restaurants, but this one was definitely a hit! My husband and I also loved that the restaurant was dog-friendly and even had a food menu just for dogs! We’ve never been to a place like that before, so it was a wonderful surprise to see something special for our fur-babies. When we visit again, we will definitely be coming back.

This place has awesome Yahoo Tuesday specials. $1 tacos on Tuesday's and they're not a skimpy little street taco. Plus they have live music. You won't be disappointed.

One of the best restaurants in town, have many options of dishes, flavors are outstanding really tastes like Mexican food. I believe the shrimps on the brazas are the best, also salsas are great, when you arrive to the place the quickly find seat for you and your friends, then right after the bring the chips and salsas, I can tell the make dishes like no other. Fresh and fast!

Azteca Mexican Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and incredible service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish was bursting with flavor—fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. The tacos and enchiladas were standouts, and the chips and salsa were the perfect start to the meal. The atmosphere was just as amazing—fun, vibrant, and full of energy, but still cozy and welcoming. Whether you’re out for a casual dinner or celebrating something special, Azteca hits all the right notes. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

Very good food! No pictures again, because I was hungry and did not think of it till later. I had the Albondiga soup... the albondigas were not hard nor soggy, they were just right. The caldo had great taste. The only thing is that I would have loved more veggies 😋. My husband had one of their Burritos and it should be called BURROTE, it was huge and delicious. They had great service and they actually had live music. A bit too loud for the small place, bit the lady was pleasant. If you have a pet, this is the best part, they have a special menu for your furry friend 🧡

Our waiter was awesome, super nice and attentive! They had live music on Friday night, it was so nice. We sat on the patio which had heaters to keep you warm and was pretty enclosed, not too exposed. This place offers no nonsense traditional CA-mexican food. Even their seafood dishes are delicious. Look no further!

Only a few restaurant we could go during the pandemic. Foods are great and I love their Margarita. Friendly service, cute and cozy restaurant. We also loved music their playing ;)

Came here with my wife and baby. The staff were very hospitable, I got the fajita and the skillet came out sizzling which was fantastic, the blood orange marg was delicious. Portions were big and the food was tasty. Will be coming back.

Popped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon after a day at Boulder Bay. It was a pretty hot day, so of course I started with a nice cold skinny margarita and while it was made nice and skinny, it wasn’t potent at all. The salsa they served were very tasty but it would’ve been nice if the chips were warm. I had the shrimp cocktail and it was a very nice large portion and they give you quite a lot of shrimp! Love all the crunch and textures inside like the cucumber and onions. The base sauce was a little too sweet for my liking, but otherwise it was pretty darn delectable. Nice comfortable seating indoors and a nice covered cozy patio outdoors. Eduardo served me and while he was very friendly and brought everything I ordered out very quickly. He was maybe just a little too attentive. I had just been served my drink and a minute later he asked if I was ready to order. A few minutes later, he asked again. I like to relax a bit after I get my drink and peruse the menu & enjoy the atmosphere. I don’t want to feel rushed. There was maybe two other people at the time I was there so maybe that’s why he was so attentive. Pretty decent prices! I recommend this restaurant.

Atmosphere was good! Food was great for 2 and not for 2 others, the meat was unseasoned is the main complaint. The biggest complaint is the woman who hovers over you to clear your table. With tip I paid over $100 for 2 adults and 2 children for four plates, no alcohol. The least she could have done is to wait and not rush us as there was plenty of room for other patrons if they arrived. We were there for 45 minutes max from entering, eating and leaving. At the end I actually had to tell her to stop, stand back and to give me room so I can pack my leftovers to go. She was attempting to grab the plates before I even set them back down. We felt rushed and unwelcomed even though the 2 preteens we had with us were being well behaved and quiet. Gave a 3 star but the average is actually 2.66
