Blanca’s Restaurant is a nice place to stop for breakfast and/or brunch while visiting the Big Bear Lake area. My wife had their daily special and I had the Mexican Breakfast plate with corn tortillas. Both were very nicely prepared and filling. Overall, the hospitality and wide variety of food options on the menu makes Blanca’s Restaurant a great place to visit.
Fantastic food!!! I was really impressed and enjoyed my meal and their pies. Nice clean place with relatively cheap low prices and a good selection of food. Only open till four, so definitely a place to hit for breakfast or lunch. Only complaint is they’re cash only. They have an ATM if you need to get cash, but a little inconvenient.
This was such an incredible place to grab food after kayaking around boulder bay for a couple hours. I almost forgot to take a picture because the food was so good that my whole party descended upon it! I got the tuna melt which might be the best tuna melt I’ve ever had and I tried my friends breakfast burrito which was incredible. The food did take a minute to get to the table but it was so worth it. There are more tables outside on their back patio (if you’re there in the summer) and I recommend eating out there if you can
Blanca and Pierre’s Restaurant offers delicious food in a nice setting both inside the restaurant and outside in the freaky forest. Erik Clemensen loved the Boysenberry Pie! Skip Breen loved the fajita melt. Andrew Davis loved the country pot w/ an extra egg! Dani was really friendly and cute. Excellent service, excellent vibes. Unfortunately, no public WiFi, but we will definitely be coming back.
Lovely dining area, great server, and the biggest double burger in big bear
good home cooking style place. great baked goods
This was the most outstanding breakfast my family ever had! We all ordered eggs Benedict, hash browns, and a side of biscuits and gravy. It was seriously fantastic. My husband is literally a chef and I never thought anyone could come close to his eggs Benedict, but this place did it. All of us ate every bite, even my 10 year old tiny daughter. The service was perfect and the food was ready in under 5 minutes. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Added bonus - nobody else was there, while every other place we tried had a long wait. And, the prices are the best I've seen in town. So happy we tried it! Highly recommend!
Love this place we come once a year!!! Great service and great food
Really Cute environment and this restaurant has been here a long time. We have always driven past because we have a Cabin close to so we were on a time schedule (but HUNGRY) so decided to just stop in here for our bite to eat. What a NICE Surprize~! The food was really REALLY good and hearty and the inside has a very nice welcoming vibe to it. I believe it's family owned, as the waitress seemed like she may be their daughter? and I must send Kudo's to the cook because this breakfast meal lasted us (really and truly) most of the day. Would we return? We sure will~!!!!!!!
We love coming here, it's a great place to stop in for a quick bite to eat. Dani's service is always exceptional. We usually come for breakfast but everything on the menu is always great. The atmosphere is welcoming and of course, the homemade pie is heavenly! Thank you Blanca and Pierre!
First and foremost, I don't believe the 1 star reviews to be genuine. People get a life! Unless you are food critic or Gordon Ramsey, you shouldn't be so critical. I came her with my wife for breakfast, through a trustworthy referral source. Yes, the food was delicious and the service was excellent! Dani our waitress was cordial and always topping off our coffee. Very attentive. Ask for her when you dine-in. No we didn't eat every dish on the menu but what we had was delicious. We saw other breakfast dishes at other tables like omelettes, Eggs Benedict, sandwiches, etc. Fun music and happy energy atmosphere. Highly recommend Blanca and Pierre's Restaurant! You won't be disappointed with their breakfast. They have pies and pastries, too!
We had a great time at Blanca and Pierre’s restaurant. The food and vibes hit the spot. Definitely recommend when you are around the area. The prices are also very decent.
Exceptional food for a good price. Highly recommend going for breakfast, my friend and I love it
Everything was excellent! The food was great and the prices were great. They bake things at the restaurant and the server even gave us some as we were leaving so we could taste their cookies. The service was fantastic! We had breakfast at Grizzly Manor the day before and this was so much better- 10/10.
The food was delicious!!!Danny is super sweet, very attentive .my compliments to the chef as well for the savory plates
We ordered breakfast from here nearly every day we stayed in big bear. The food was very good and flavorful. Great location to grab some food after a day of having fun in the bay.
I absolutely love this place. The quality of food and service is amazing. One of my favorite places to visit when in Big Bear. Everything I have tried is delicious. The owner is so sweet and is always so friendly, her staff as well. I really appreciate family owned places like this one. You must try it.
So glad we found this place after 4th of July. Everything in town was so busy with lined out the door. This place is a little of a drive out of town, buy if you're heading out of big bear it's perfect. The food was delicious. Best omelet I've had in a while and the pancakes were scrumptious.
The place is so cute. The owner so cute. The vibes are great. You get a pie slice for less than six bucks. The pie is perfectly sweet - ask whip cream.
The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We went early morning and place wasn’t very crowded and enjoyed our breakfast. In addition, there is a nice walking area near the restaurant with great views of the lake. It was a great start to our trip to Big Bear Lake.
After having breakfast here for the 2nd year in a row, the amazing wait staff invited us back for dinner. With so many restaurants in Big Bear we considered going somewhere else. But when you have a party of 7 including teenagers and adults that all agree they want to go back to a place that felt like home, we had to try it! Once again we all left satisfied and grateful that they were just recently opened for dinner (4:30-8:30). If you want to get to there for dinner, you better hurry before the word is out. It's a quaint place with limited seats but if you have to choose between waiting here or waiting elsewhere, put your name on the list and enjoy the views from the nearby pier.
Greta place for breakfast that is still in town, but away from the busy village area.
We ate at this restaurant 4 mornings in a row. The first time (Tuesday, 9/5/2023) was a huge disappointment. The food was below average and the service wasn't that good. However, the rest of the days (Wed 9/6 - Friday 9/8/2023), the food was great and the service was excellent! We had the same waitress from Wed-Friday (different waitress on 1st experience). I'm glad we gave it another chance (we wouldn't have, but the restaurant we wanted to try was closed on Wed), as our review would be much different otherwise. The 2nd waitress was personable, always filling up your coffee, etc. We will definitely come back here the next time we're visiting the area!
My Wife and I love coming to this hidden Gem in Big Bear (boulder Bay). Don't really want to tell eveyone about this place, but this is a real Mom and Pop Breakfast joint. The food is excellent and the prices are great! Very dog friendly too!
Cozy breakfast spot a lot over from the Boulder Bay lookout point. Great food and even better service. About 10 tables inside and a few more out front and on the back patio. Pies galore too!
My husband and I are motorbiking through and stopped for lunch. It's was absolutely delicious! Exactly the kind of small family business we want to eat at as we adventure through!
This place is great! The food was delicious and good portions, also the cashier/waitress was very kind and attentive thank you Dani!
Great location close to kayaks shore. My children love their food .I personally love there fish tacos

Best breakfast in Big Bear! The prices are solid and the food is fantastic. Service is top notch too. We went with a group of 5 and everyone loved it. 2 of us got lunch items and 3 got breakfast and we shared a round of French toast for the table. Everything was perfect! They make their desserts in house and are delicious
Blanca and Pierre’s is such a great find in Big Bear! Their burgers are flavorful and satisfying, and the Alfredo chicken is rich and perfectly cooked. The prices are really affordable, especially considering the quality of the food and the location. Everything tastes fresh and well-prepared, which makes it stand out compared to other spots in the area. And I have to mention the peanut butter chocolate balls—they’re absolutely addictive, I’m already craving them again. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town!
Danni the server was excellent Coffee refilled with care Attention to detail Was very friendly Truly a pleasure to come sit down for coffee and sweets
As a local, I can not proclaim and shout from the rooftops enough. THIS PLACE IS TOP QUALITY!!! I absolutely adore this little restaurant. The food? DELICIOUS! The service and staff? SO WELCOMING, ACCOMMODATING AND SWEET! The prices? Honey, don't even get me started. So Reasonable. We come for both breakfast and lunch and LITERALLY every single thing I've tried on the menu, I've enjoyed thoroughly. They also have baked goods, including, but certainly not limited to, pies, cinnamon rolls, and these delectable little peanut butter ball things that are a hit. Seriously, if you want a restaurant that you enter welcomed like a member of the family, and leave enthusiastic for the next family reunion, then this place is definitely the place for you.

Great dog friendly diner with amazing service. Our coffee never had a chance to get cold.
A little grace-given because it's a small country place. Staff was really nice and quick it's a neat little place. Get the feeling it's more about breakfast than lunch. Order the tuna sandwich, was expecting ahi. Wrong it was tuna salad, not a tuna sandwich. No big deal the tuna salad was actually pretty good, unfortunately the bread they served it on was pretty stale. I definitely go back though and order breakfast.
My boyfriend and I visited this place on a Wednesday afternoon, it was pretty empty so we were happy since we prefer the quiet environment. The food wasn't great but it did give you that "home cooked" feel. The service was ok, the waiter did his job of frequently checking our table. The cherry pie was delicious! I will definitely be coming back!

We came for breakfast. The patio is great, our server was lovely and very attentive. Refilled our coffee and kept it hot. Only negative was the biscuit was hard as a rock. All the other food was excellent the sausage links were especially good.

My son & I visited B&P a few days ago. I ordered the Mexican scramble. It was pretty good. My son wasn't too hungry and ordered a side of fries. They were soggy and limp. The waitress may have been new to the job because she just wasn't attentive. The entire experience was a 5/10. I wouldn't recommend B&P nor will I dine there again.
Having moved up to the mountain almost four years ago from Orange County, the only way to explain the reviews are if you're not used to eating in Orange County, this place will be good. It is edible food, but definitely nothing great. Tried it for the first time today with my daughter. I ordered the Mexican scramble and she had french toast. The Mexican scramble did not come with sour cream or salsa, but it DID come with a hair in it. I don't freak out about those things, but obviously I'm not thrilled about it either. I tasted a bite of the French toast and it was merely "ok" too. Off to try other places. I would not try to come back here to eat again. Service was adequately friendly, but it took more than 10 minutes to get our food when there was only one other party of two in the restaurant that were already eating. I think Amangela's is better quality, but you only get one or two options for breakfast--but I wish we had gone there instead.
My boyfriend and I stopped by because it had great reviews but it was very wrong. We asked for water that never came, I asked for coffee staff said in a very rude tone "Wait a minute" The food was so bad had to put so much stuff on it to make it edible. She was only nice to you when you paid your bill. She was VERY rude.
Not a good experience. The service was unfortunately horrible. 45 min to get the food and for the wait, the food was not good. We went with a party of 8 and half the food was dry and old tasting. I got the Mexican scramble and added chorizo for an extra cost and they forgot the chorizo in my scramble. I asked the server that they forgot it if I can have it on the side. She comes over and starts arguing that the tomato is chorizo and I don't know what chorizo is. There was steamed tomato water coating the egg and she's arguing that was chorizo. In the end I told her forget it and ended up paying for the extra cost even though there was none. Her service was horrible and she was rude. I wish I got her name but it was an older Hispanic lady. Ended up paying for the food and sadly id recommend everyone against going here. I was hopeful with the high ratings but food was lacking flavor, it was dry and customer service was non existent.
We visited Blanca and Pierres Restaurant and ordered the following items: • Classic Club Sandwich ($13.75) • Roast beef with pepper jack ($13.25) • Fish and Chips x2 ($15.99 each) • Chicken Nuggets ($8.50) • Spaghetti Bolognese ($8.95) • Diet Coke ($3.50) The subtotal should have been $79.93. Even after adding a 7.75% tax, a 3% credit card surcharge, and a generous 20% tip, our total should have come out to approximately $106.45. However, the restaurant charged us $111.27 (excluding the credit card surcharge and the extra tip I gave separately), indicating additional unexplained charges. Despite receiving minimal service—only ordering and food delivery—we found extra fees included and the bill improperly inflated. This practice is misleading and unfair to customers. I am disappointed by the lack of transparency and overcharging, and would caution others to check their bills carefully when dining here.
