Ask for Daniel- best service provider!Seriously delicious food! Portions are huge and the taste is spot on. The salsas were so fresh. We ordered a shredded chicken burrito- well seasoned. Waiter was so efficient he refilled our chips and salsa and when our coffee was 1/4 the way full he asked if we need more. My daughter’s salad had beef in every bite. Place was crowded, and all that arrived were quickly accommodated and served.

This place is great. We had a nice view from the patio and didn't wait long for food. We like the salsa here. Appetizer taquitos and the carnitas enchilada were tasty. We didn't interact with the staff much but they were friendly. We'll be back. 9/22 update: this place is still great 👍🏻 Chicken quesadilla and the Nachos were delicious.

We came after a day of skiing. Came hungry and left satisfied and stuffed. Food: huge portion and yummy! Had Chip and salsa, chicken tortilla soup, California burrito, and carnitas plate. Service: prompt, attentive, and friendly. Good value for the entire experience.

The Chile Relleno is an Anaheim chile (mild and lots of body) filled with Jack Cheese, beer bathered (deep fried) smothered on a red chile sauce and bean pure, oh my deliciousness! Came back for more Rodolfo and Peter at the Bar are so wonderfully fun Great hosts Awesome drinks and food Chips Salsa! Several options, get up and try them all

I would it give 5 stars but the waitress was under pressure , and there was only 3 people for the restaurant. The food was amazing. Good prices. We ordered flautas trio, flautas, the best. Little maintenance would help.Highly recommended

I would have given 5 stars but the chips were cold and the queso was barely warm. The main dish, chicken enchiladas, was delicious. Also the margaritas were fantastic as well as the service was great. We parked right next to this place between here and the liquor store. The outdoor seating facing the main street was also great.

The food is ridiculously expensive, which is no surprise, but really tasty. And the salsa bar and unlimited tortilla chips make it worth it... Or maybe they weren't unlimited and that's why they brought the check after only 40 minutes.

The food was good but the experience was not so great only because of the waitress attitude. Light skinned girl that doesn’t look Hispanic like the other ladies. Very dry and wouldn’t let you finish placing your drink or food order when she was already walking away. My receipt says her name is Neela A. The place is small and tight and we got up getting ready to leave and she gave my Son attitude telling him to move from a booth he was leaning on. Overall bad service from her.

Burrito

The place looked popular throughout the week so i decided to try it during my last day in bigbear. The place was nice on a friday afternoon. They seated me quickly in nice patio seating. They even got me chips and salso quickly and my food followed suit. I ordered a beef red-wet burrito with cheese and sour cream. I did not like it. The carne asada was just meh, maybe even a little bit salty but still bland. It got a very synthetic sour taste from the cheese and some from the sauce. It was almost bitter to eat. Very unenjoyable. Its funny because like the restauraunt, the foods presentation was very nice. Very good colors. It was a big serving too. I had saved the other half for leftovers. But like i said, i expected some street-like flavors, not some bland food. The restauraunt was nice. Even the restroom doors were themed. I would return, but have your expectations not met.

Customer service is okay. I had the Carnitas burrito. The meat was a bit dry, lacked a bit of depth in flavor. The green salsa is on point though. More care should be put into a burrito that's nearly $20. Horchata was more watery than creamy and lacked depth.

Cantina was decorative, music playing was created a fun atmosphere. Place was clean. The presentation of the food was well done, however the food was bland, I ordered the barbacoa. plate. I also had a cup of coffee it was fresh as requested by me. The alcohol drinks being made at the bar looked tempting. Maybe next time no food just drinks?

The food was average at best me and my husband did not finish our food. We didn’t even wanna take it to go. Our drinks were also not good! It was also very expensive and the portions were not good. All of the waiters, including the bartenders had frowns or looked miserable. They practically rushed us out of there, even though we were polite…. we paid our tab and even tipped before we left. (please be sure to check your receipt because I believe this place adds gratuity ) It is my honest opinion that we will never be back. Sorry but not sorry.

If you’re a local, you get the lunch menu taco Tuesday all day and you’re catered to. If you walk in, they don’t know you they slap you down the dinner menu and you get completely ripped off for horrible food. If you like canned meat and expensive prices this is your place . I’m just curious why the locals next to me had a lunch menu and all these deals we walk in and get $30 meals like I came in at 8 o’clock at night on a Friday. I’ll never be back. Just make sure you verbally tell them “hey guys it’s lunchtime” I mean, unless you’re local you get everything you need Sonora here we come
