I'm only here in Birmingham for another week but I'll be coming here alot throughout my stay. Can't just have a wicked good breakfast and not sort out lunch and dinner! Just happened across this place looking for another. I was getting ready to head to Tennessee and saw that they have a drive thru. Beautiful spot. Amazing service. Incredible tacos. I had steak and shrimp. Horchata. And flan for dessert. Will definitely be back.

We wanted tamales and street tacos for office lunch. Maria was great. Made us a whole menu for authentic Mexican lunch. Highly recommend …. Especially if you are bored with tasteless corporate catering! She was fantastic.

Food was amazing!! The wait was non-existent. I was greeted with a smile and Alexandra made sure my order was correct and even asked “How I enjoyed my meal?” I received a lot of food for the value. I look forward to returning.

EXTREMELY RECOMMEND you try this Mexican restaurant/Taco Shop. The most closest in dishes with the Taco Shops back in San Diego, CA. I absolutely LOVED the taco shops back at home, it was the majority of my meals throughout the week. And for being in the south and testing as many Mexican spots (including ones I have not rated), this is the closest with dishes and flavors to the ones back home.

Car Lunch Review Time: To the Point: 9.4 / 10 I just so happened to pass this place on my way to get pizza and while waiting in line for a while to order pizza I decided to Google this place. So this was a very spur of the moment kind of decision. Glad I did because I found out they have Birria Tacos. You know the tacos we see on social media that look extremely juicy and has the dipping sauce that makes it look like you're dipping into a taste of Heaven? They have those. So I came specifically for the Birria Tacos, nothing else. I hate I limited myself to two. These things were juicy even without the sauce and had a really good texture. Meat was good, I don't even know what was inside the tacos that's how good they were. All I know that flavor and juice was coming out ... Only thing I can say is they "served me up something proper" ~ Shoutout to Daym Drops I will be coming back asap. I wanted so bad to turn around and order more but I didn't have the time. Restaurant is like a small hole in the wall, everyone felt welcoming and I love the look and design. Even had a little area with DJ equipment. Would be a fun dinner spot to come to for Tacos and drinks. As always when I visit more I will update my review but overall really good first impression. Why has no one told me about this place?

After hearing commercials about this place for a few weeks, I decided to stop by, and I'm glad I did! My fresh, delicious fish taco & Mexican Coke with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup were outstanding! A health rating of 96, and conveniently located in Homewood next to Little Caesars. I will return SOON! 👍🏾

Location easy to find. Server was very polite. Food came out hot. Birria tacos were a little different than the ones we have here in GA but they were still very good.

Honestly the only thing that tasted good was the agua de horchata. I had high expectations for this place unfortunately it did not meet my needs. I ordered guacamole & chips but the chips was hard my meal was okay I will say the green sauce was good.

I normally don’t do reviews, but let’s just say I was very disappointed. I had high hopes on this being good. This is what the picture looked like when I saw it online vs when I got it. The meat was tough and dry. The onions and cilantro were on top and not in the inside of the “birria pizza”. It was undercooked and they were scarce with the meat. What a waste of $30!!! My feelings were definitely hurt. It looked sooo good on the website. The pizza was stuffed and cooked, but the one i received as you can see was thin and undercooked!!
