We had a great experience at Slice. The food was absolutely perfect, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for every time. Service was quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever feeling rushed. Everything came out hot and on time, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Splendid establishment. I highly recommend the Margherita pizza –– Yummers! Excellent place to take the whole family. I'm especially fond of their arcade games and quirky coloring pages. The red-headed server was simply delightful as well. Hope to return soon and win another Cartman in the claw machine...

The pizza here is extravagant. Delicious and well made! High quality ingredients and lots of variety for the whole family. The service was impeccable, especially from the lovely red-haired server and the woman with the beautiful flower tattoo - they were attentive, friendly, even during busy weekend hours! I LOVE to come to Slice Homewood!! It’s honestly such a chill laid back environment with the best pizza, drinks, appetizers, and servers that make you feel like a friend! The food comes out to your table super timely and is always fresh. I’ve also had so much fun since they added trivia on Tuesday nights. The host of trivia, Kaitlyn is so hilarious with her commentary and questions and she is so engaging with every guest in the restaurant. She also is so attentive to the guests and their needs, as is every server and manager there! I’ve never been to a restaurant where the staff make you feel so welcome. Honestly, Slice Homewood has become a weekly staple for me.

Pizza is pretty good. Their flat wedge salad is amazing—and is a meal all by itself! Service is not the best, it seems you always have a 10 minute wait to be seated, even when there is hardly anyone in the restaurant. Typically, it’s because the person seating you is always on their cellphone (always a high school age person as the seating server).

Came down to Bham the night before my Birthday. Stopped by to grab a slice. Ordered a slice waited 30 minutes.. Slice had been sitting in the warmer for probably 15 plus mins before they realize it. I asked for my order because I needed to get to my next stop. Bartender went to ovens, back n forth, then to warmer by register. The order had been there waiting. The place was packed, just needed better expediting. Food around me looked good. So I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in town. God Bless Slice, ..... came by the next day and Nick went above and beyond to make my inconvenience corrected. More than enough comp, I didn't want that much but he insisted on making it more than right. Thanks Nick Oh by the way, I've been to NYC, Jersey, Chicago, all the Pizza towns. The Lakewood at Slice Pizza, it's the Best Pizza I've ever had. Congratulations Slice Cya next time

Front door of the restaurant was propped wide open with it being 32 degrees outside and the restaurant was freezing. The door stayed open during our entire meal. Most of the customers were sitting in their puffer coats. Food was good, but our server overcharged us for the premium pizza when we ordered a standard build your own pizza with one topping.

I hate giving such a bad review to this place, but they just can’t seem to get it together. No manager in sight on both occasions and tonight, half my family walked out and I followed shortly after with my two kids after waiting two hours for one pizza. The fact the owner can’t even even hire a manager and has inexperienced 21 year old waiters and waitresses running the place is ridiculous. It wasn’t crowded, they weren’t serving the people that were dining in, yet had orders going out the door like crazy. It tools us 30 minutes just to get a glass of water. The staff seemed more interested in playing grab ass and joking around than attending to customers, especially the red headed bar tender.

To the Management of Slice Pizza & Brews, ​I am writing to express my concern regarding the pricing and quality of your products at the Brookwood Baptist location. ​As a supporter of your local restaurant locations, I was disappointed to find that a single slice of pizza at the hospital kiosk is priced at $7.00. While I understand that satellite locations often have different overhead costs, this pricing seems disproportionately high when compared to the cost of a full pizza at your standard restaurants. ​Beyond the price point, there is a significant concern regarding value and ethics. The pizza at this location frequently sits under heat lamps for extended periods, resulting in a product that does not reflect the quality customers expect. ​Hospital visitors, patients, and staff are a captive audience, often including the elderly and those facing financial strain due to medical emergencies. Charging premium prices for "fast food" quality in this specific setting can be perceived as taking advantage of people in vulnerable positions. ​I believe Slice Pizza & Brews has a reputation for being a community-focused brand. However, the current pricing model at this location feels inconsistent with those values. ​Are there plans to review the pricing structure for hospital locations to ensure it is fair and accessible to the families and healthcare workers who rely on these services? ​I look forward to your response.

I got one slice of cheese pizza and a Caesar Salad. The pizza was just reheated. It was burnt on the bottom. It was barely warm. Salad was good. Overall service was ok.
