Opinions de Krispy Kreme Bogota
I went in today had a minor hiccup and a young woman named Patient was able to help me a lot. She gave great recommendations and welcomed me to the point I would come to this Krispy Kreme location anytime. Being kind and understanding goes a long way for things so simple and she aced it. Thank you!
All I can say is WOW! Stopped in after the Pride parade. Paid for my donuts and hopped on the metro. It wasn't I till I got home and tried to pay for dinner that I realized my wallet was missing! Talk about a panic attack! I called and thank God, one of their associates found it and turned it in. I had to go All the way back to Dupont Circle but my Wallet was safe. They were so kind. And it was super busy that evening. Everyone was SMILING! Even with the line out the door, they kept smiling! It was lovely to see, the donuts were excellent! Thank you Krispy Creme. You saved me from a horrible nightmare.
I love Krispy Kreme Donuts! On one hand, my Doctor yells about blood sugar and fat. On the other hand, getting spectacular, warm and fresh donuts is special. This week, Lizzy and I visited Krispy Kreme in DuPont Circle and stocked up. Zihe served us with a smile and helped select the most fresh and wonderful. Zihe, Thank you!
Probably the best donuts in DC. This is one of the best donut chains in the country, and this location doesn't disappoint. They often have free samples in the shop or on the sidewalk close to the shop. The shop is nice and clean and has a distinct smell of freshly made donuts.
The server was just super friendly, very fast and very patient while I was trying to get the App up. Ending up getting more than we planned. Parking, however, is an issue so had to get these now for tomorrow.
Great staff. Tell them a joke. :) There's not a ton of variations at this location, but it was clean and well done. It's a small place in the city anyway, they can't have every variation. To name a few I remember there: Glazed, chocolate sprinkle, strawberry sprinkle, custard, lemon, cream, raspberry filled....They also had Oreo and cake batter filled. They had a couple cake donuts. After typing all of these out, I realize how it seems like quite a lot...but they didn't have one of my favorite, maple! So that's why I give ZERO stars. I'm kidding, it's cozy, I recommend.
😀🧁got three birthday donuts. Fresh expedient 🧁😄
Kind staff, great service, all topped off with delicious donuts.
Wanted to say that the man and woman working at this location at 4:30pm 1/28/2019 did a great job distracting a very frightening man from me and the other female customer so we could leave without being harassed. I imagine they got the dude to leave after we did, but we were OUT as soon as he was distracted. I think the male employee's name was Andy. He did a great job. Also, the donuts I got were delish.
Fresh donuts, good service!
Very patient service. Had a tough time making choices, but person working there was still asking me questions to make sure i had what i wanted including making sure my ice level was right.
Soft and fluffy, who would hate Krispy Kreme? This place is clean, staffs are relatively friendly. It's not like you are dining there, so it's forgiven.
This has to be my favourite Krispy Kreme anywhere in the world. The staff here are so lovely; kindness and generosity personified. The donuts were hot, fresh and scrumptious, but it’s the staff I will come back here again for.
Hands down I just had the best coffee of my life, krispy kreme uses their own coffee 100% arabica beans and best quality syrups (Ghirardelli) Khalil and a younger lady were very sweet and friendly. this is going to be my new coffee spot. :)
Kevin was so nice and he asked us if we wanted our glazed doughnuts warm and it was the best Krispy Kreme experience we’ve ever had!! Thanks Kevin!! Hope you all have a great holiday season! The custard doughnut was not as delicious as I remembered but I think that is the recipe not the employees fault. The raspberry jelly and glazed were delicious.
The customer service here it A1. Our organization has been purchasing doughnuts from this store every Monday for the last 5 years and we are extremely happy with everything provided; from customer service, to doughnut offerings and the overall positive & exuberant vibe. I want to give a special THANK YOU and SHOUTOUT to Imoni, Shemar, Krystan and Erika for their hardwork. We will continue to support this KK location!
The team was as warm as the fresh original glazed. They were fantastic and very receptive. The donuts were warm & comforting. Worth the trip here for the team.
Whenever in DC, we make a pit stop for a dozen glazed donuts. Too bad the hot light is rarely on when we are there. Bad timing I guess.
We went and bought two dozen of glazed donuts for our staffs. They ask if we want it hot. That was the first time I tried with warm donuts. It was so good that I ate 3 just was on my way back to home. The place is a bit small but very clean. It location is tucked in right next to the red line metro station at DuPont circle. Next to it is Panera Bread. I come here as well for lunch from time to time. I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a fresh cup of coffee and donuts.
I don't know what they do to their donuts that the Virginia store on route 1 doesn't do, but the donuts at this Krispy Kreme are always fresh and fresher than any other Krispy Kreme I've been to in this area. And the service is impeccable as well, I wasn't greeted so kindly as I was and this store! The woman in Virginia was very cold and distant, and they had a limited amount and variety of donuts in the VA store, when I was there last. I live on the other side of town, but, I will travel as far as I need to to go to the Washington, DC, Connecticut avenue store from now on!
Great selection of donuts! If you don't have your physical Vaccination Card, a picture of it works just fine, at least it worked for me and my mother. They also have 2 different types of Pumpkin Spice donuts! Anyways, great place to go, right to the left of the Dupont Circle Metro Station. Highly recommended for a quick donut or 2 if you're motivated.
All types of donuts are really delicious, much better than Dunkin Doughnuts. The donuts are always fresh, airy and stays like that for days. The top glaze is also tasty and in the right proportion of sweetness. The staff at the store are welcoming and helpful.
Best glazed donuts. Would appreciate more tables and better conditions of the store.
This place is the bane of my existence. I keep trying to think of reasons not to patronize them. But the customer service is excellent. The donuts are always fresh. Even the coffee is a 9 out of 10. If you have a sugar addiction, stay away!! So good. I give them 12 out of 10 stars. Love them. Too bad my waistline doesn’t love them. Sonya Armfield
The cashier Kimora was very informative... I came for the Harry Potter donuts bu5 thwy b had ran out.. she let me know more would be available in the next 20 min... saved me from having to come back and possibly miss them again... she also was very detailed about the new donuts so I could choose wisely!
’m usually not a fan of cold coffee, but I wanted to try something different and decided to visit Kripe Kreeme at Dupont Circle. I tried the Caramel Latte made by Princess, and OMG—it’s now my absolute favorite! I’ve been going back multiple times just for this coffee. The service is always excellent, and Princess makes every visit special. If you’re around Dupont, definitely give it a try. Thank you, Princess!😊
I was walking in Dupont Circle and saw a sign on the Krispy Kreme window advertising warm glazed donuts. I went in there with the intention of purchasing one and they told me that it was free. I was shocked and asked why was it free? They told me that whenever the light is on outside of the store, anybody that walks in can get one warm glazed doughnut for free! This sounded too good to be true. They did give me the warm glazed donut and it was as good as they always are. It tasted even better because it was free!!! I ask them how often does that light come on and they told me that the sign is lighted every day from approximately 8 AM to 4 PM. Anybody that walks in will get a free warm glazed doughnut. I was surprised that there were no lines going around the block. There was nobody in there except for me. This was at approximately 3 PM in the afternoon. They actually made the donut while I was waiting for it, as you can see in one of the pictures below. The staff was friendly and the place was spotlessly clean. A picture of the lighted sign is shown as part of this rating.
Today, I got my first Pumpkin Spice Frappe, and a Boston Crème doughnut, for the Season! The Pumpkin Spice Frappe was absolutely, fantastically, delicious!😁The BEST Pumpkin Spice Frappe I’ve ever had! The Customer Service, at the DuPont Circle Store, Washington DC, is fabulously helpful! Thanks, for a very pleasant experience! So grateful, for the emailed promotions, and product information—-the Krispy Kreme App is wonderful!
Popped into Krispy Kreme for a cheeky treat and ended up proper chuffed — didn’t expect to see Batman and the gang on the box! Clocked a doughnut with the Bat symbol on top and thought, “No way!” Tasted banging too — chocolatey, sweet, and spot on. Big up Krispy Kreme for this unexpected gem. Made my day, that did! Shoutout to the lovely staff as well — friendly, quick, and full of smiles.
Fresh, hot original glazed krispy kreme donuts literally melt in your mouth. Yum 😋 This location has friendly, upbeat employees. It is also very conveniently located right outside the dupont circle metro station. There are a few chairs & tables inside to dine in. Tip: download the app! I did and it immediately gave me a reward for a free, dozen original glazed donuts. And that is the exact reason I visited this store. Was so happy to receive a free, fresh hot dozen 😋. With a generous welcome reward like that, I'm a fan of Krispy Kreme.
There's something special about a hot Krispy Kreme donut that rolls out on the conveyor belt, especially when it's coupled with a frozen mocha latte. This store is right next to the Dupont Circle Metro and just a few blocks from the Phillips. The staff is really nice and friendly. If you're a senior, ask for the ten percent discount. There was only one table for seating when we were there.
The “HOT” sign is always on. Ordered for work and had to wait about 5 minutes but it was worth it. The donuts were fresh and everyone enjoyed them. They have new flavors available like strawberry shortcake and mixed berry cobbler. They look very good but what can beat a traditional glaze? These are only available low for a limited time. This location has 1 dozen donuts on sale for $7.99.
Conveniently located near Dupont circle with the ever familiar donuts. You know what to expect at each and every Krispy Kreme. This place is no different. One exception... Always entertaining to see the staff enjoying the music in the restaurant.
The light was on and like a moth to a flame....there I went. Small store, decently staffed. Team was helpful, but took a minute to receive my order. Staff is even better than before. Personable and professional and treated all the guest, I witnessed in my latest visit, like they were the only guest.
I have been coming to this donuts shop for as long as they have been open, which I believe was around 2007. Most of the time I have ordered donuts and coffee to go, and a few times I have actually sat down inside to chill. The store is small, and there are only about three tables inside the entire store. I think they could probably add two more if they cared. Today must have been a busy day for them, because when I came in at around noon on this Sunday, the place was a mess, with cups, trash, and pieces of donuts scattered around the tables. My eyes immediately focused on the strawberry iced glazed donuts, and anything strawberry is definitely my favorite. But as luck would have it, I needed to consider the rest of my family, and not everyone enjoys the same things that I do. I settled on a dozen glazed donuts, which will sure to please everyone in the house. The ly make them so perfectly delicious, and I couldn't help myself to try one on my way out. Pure deliciousness!
They are fast but sometimes too impatient, I sometimes go after work (overnight) so arrive between 7-730am on a Saturday or Sunday and its usually empty, but I swear that's when the employees rush me the most. They always forget to ask for my rewards number and seem to have an attitude when I remind them. Overall, I'm there for donuts so I can deal with an attitude, but they need some coffee or something.
Sunday routine. Yummy 😋
Great customer service. Has frequent traffic when the hot light is on. A great location. It is located next to the DuPont Circle metro station. From time to time there are persons who are not experiencing a standard quality of life who will be near the metro seeking donations or change.
We got some KK and it was amazing, I give it a 4 but it deserves a 5 because I received my order just when the new batch arrived at the store which really upset me since my favorite type (strawberry) ran out and the new batch was filled with them, also the chillers were liquidy but other than that, amazing. We used a coupon from the Washington Times and it helped with the price, the coupon helped a lot, and I do recommend using them! Thank you Krispy Kreme!
Service was great. But i had to be there to see that little shop has a lot of kids after school. Those kids what to act like they need to touch everything. On top of that I was also there to see how they handled them and even people trying to sleep in there. I loved it. The mother In me was so happy
So early in the morning there's two people only working there. When one customer is holding up the line because they do not know what they want and keep adding on. It takes forever just to get donuts and the coffee. After the one customer had left it was five customers left. It took us exactly 10 minutes to get out that store when we sat in line. Probably for 20 minutes waiting for one customer
I know one of the perks of working at a donut shop is getting some food to take home, this is not a criticism of individual staff. However, ever since 2G2G has them giving away discounted donuts at 830 every KK seems to be making sure to take basically everything down by that point so that most of the variety of flavors is gone. Compared to a year ago when the box was fully random and the shelves were still ready to go, it feels like they've shifted to tactical scarcity and forced generics at end of day and that's a tactic I find distasteful in companies in general. ESPECIALLY when one donut is now almost $3!
The staff was very friendly, and the doughnuts were quite good — we tried a few different flavors and enjoyed them. We also ordered coffee, which took a few extra minutes to arrive because the machine was being reset. Overall, a nice experience.
Nothing beats the smell of freshly baked Krispy Kreme donuts and the neon signs flashing drawing you in like a moth to a flame. This place needs a bit of cleaning. The store has this grime and feels like it needs to be wiped down from counter to floor. The guys behind the counter are friendly enough but I guess the heavenly smell of donuts have pass as they take your order. The classic is always good but my favorite is probably the creme filled. This is always treat after a fun night out. The calories are so worth it.
Came on a Sunday to get two large cups of coffee. The donuts smelled wonderful and the store was clean. But my focus on just getting two cups of coffee. The employee behind the counter was very nice. There was no coffee made so she would have to make it. It ended up being approximately 15 minutes or more. I doctored the coffee's up and took them out. I took a sip of mine outside the door and it was lukewarm. Was expecting a cup of hot coffee. So I will give it a try again and hopefully grab a donut.
Yesterday may 1st me and my brother went to Krispy Kreme but I didn’t think we would be racially profiled as if we were using the free dozen coupon. We’re black Mind u the first thing she says to us is we don’t have any glazed donuts. Not a hello or anything. The manager or shift lead is there too. Not to seem racist idk ethnicity’s much but he’s foreign. I tried to put that aside because I then said ok that’s fine I have a coupon for a free donut. She then says no cinnamon rolls. Like huh? When did I say anything bout a cinnamon roll. I’ve worked in fast food so I kno when someone is trying to get us out the line and move on to the next customer. Not looking for compensation or anything. Just teach your workers how to deal with people. Because I could’ve made it a big deal. I was high so I really didn’t care much but I told myself I’d leave a review. In case u say it didn’t happen. Run the camera I got a KitKat donut my bro got jelly filled, KitKat and soda.
Kyrstan should probably be more inviting. I’m not sure if she was having a bad day or if she just hates her job but she didn’t give me and my family the experience we usually have when we visit this location. In hindsight Shout out to Luiz. He was great.
The entrance doors presented a significant cleanliness issue, creating an unsanitary impression. Furthermore, the demeanor of the staff member who assisted me suggested a lack of engagement, which is a primary factor in my preference for Dunkin' over Starbucks and Krispy.
Had some time to kill so I skipped my happy self to Krispy Kreme for donuts and coffee. The service was good. They suggested the new pumpkin glazed since fall is upon us and I had to get an original glazed. I ordered a vanilla latte with an extra shot. The donuts were Heavenly (I expect nothing less) but the coffee was a let down. It tasted burnt and since I was charged $1 for an extra shot I should be able to taste that shot. I. Did. Not. So ordering coffee from here won't happen again. But other than that it was a typical experience.
Smallest Krispy Kreme I've been too. Young staff with no manager in sight. Needs a good cleaning. Got a few donuts and all cold. Like out of fridge cold. Sign was on but no one offered a fresh made warm donut. I shouldn't have to ask for it.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Krispy Kreme. The customer service was shockingly rude. Despite being there during published open hours, the staff not only refused to respect the schedule but also kicked us out of the lobby into the freezing cold while we were waiting for our Uber. The man at the register had an awful attitude, and to make matters worse, the rest of the staff laughed at the situation, as if it were a joke. This level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is unacceptable and completely ruined what should have been a pleasant visit. I sincerely hope Krispy Kreme addresses these issues to ensure no one else has to endure such treatment. As it stands, I will not be returning.
Ew gross. Everything about this place is gross. Came in at 7 am and the donuts look old . Dull old donuts And they looked like the were refrigerated then put out again from previous day.
I had high expectations, and now a giant disappointment. This place is overrated. The Donuts are mediocre and there are only two girls to take and prepare the orders and charge. Donuts were dry. The service was very rude, the women were in a bad mood and shouted for the orders. English is not our first language, and we were with children who didn't handled it very well. You have to know how to work face to the public, and without a doubt that the 2 women did not know how. I'm sure it's because we were white ... Even though I wouldn't recomend it, the place seemed to be clean from the outside, I hope they keep It clean on the inside too.
My wife was getting way too frustrated trying to balance setting up donuts for an event, helping out with our babies, and dealing with intakes all day. The staff here was extremely patient and did not mind checking in with general managers to okay a small-ish catering request at the last minute when the website was not working out. Thanks for that, Unique (I just overheard your name in the background, so sorry if I misspelled your name). Also just want to say, they had a really good vibe going on in the background- people talking to each-other etc? Reminded me of my days as a line cook in Philly. ----- Updated: Staff used the wrong code for the tax-exempt card which caused my wife to have to call back multiple times and leave multiple messages asking to have this fixed. This went on for over five days until she finally just went into the store attempting to have the situation fixed. Even in person, they could not charge the order as tax-exempt on the correct card. They ended up just paying her cash from the register for the difference which she will now have to take to whoever is in charge of the budget and plead with them to accept the cash + original charge instead of having it come out of her own money. I would be very careful if you're using a tax-exempt work card, make sure you use your own tax-exempt code to make the order, especially if they insist they have their own code to enter at checkout. If you're looking to establish any kind of communication, it is going to be a really rough time.
The lady who took my order was so rude and with a terrible attitude! I was so excited to get myself a dozen donuts for a snowy day and she changed my mood with such a terrible way to treat people!!
Worst Krispy Kreme I've ever been to. Terrible customer service, people on the counter are rude and treat people like they're doing them favor instead of their job specially an old man called K. Hall.
Visited at 8pm. You close at 11pm on a Saturday night and have NO original glazed doughnuts available? Multiple employees working but no one concerned to make the actual product your business is known for? Won't be coming back to this location ever and will be considering other options when craving doughnuts in the future.
Okay, just had a weird experience at this location ...really cashier had no knowledge of the different types of donuts specifically the cannoli which is new to me and wasn't interested in finding an answer for me. She was very dismissive pretty much rude. Turned me off!
Came in on 12/12 for the $1 Dozen Original Glazed real when they had the “Hot Now” sign on in the app to be told they didn’t have any original glazed. Plus, the donuts looked fairly dry/stale. Poor planning on their part makes for wasted time on mine. For the price point I’d rather drive out to NoVa to Texas Donut for classic donuts or go to a boutique shop in D.C. to get some real specialty donuts.
Krispy Kreme has fell off bad. The customer service is horrible and they LIED to me about the price. When I saw it on the display (*?*) They tried to overcharge me, I think they wanted to steal my cash. The cashier and the guy working there are nasty. They tried to give me some old dry looking doughnuts from off a tray. The display doughnuts looked better. I didn't spend a dime with them. I went to Daily Grill.
They served stale glazed donuts that weren't hot, when their hot sign was on, and had little glaze that was very gritty. Even though glazed creme filled have been on and off the official menu for most of my life I have never been to a Krispy Kreme that wouldn't make them for me the 18 years I've been ordering them and they flat out refused. Very disappointed in the quality and the customer service.
I've really tried to give this location a chance but every time I go, something is always strange. During my last visit a few nights ago, I stopped for the hot sign! Unfortunately, when I went in, they werent even selling hot donuts. Eek! When the team member proceeded to give me 2 glazed out of the window, I asked about the hot donuts since the sign was on. He seemed as though he didn't even realize that the sign was on but said he would give me hot donuts if I wanted them. I'm thankful he tried but it seems whatever they had werent fresh. The cinnamon sugar and creme filled donut werent fresh either. I wasnt even able to finish my donuts because they werent good at all. ;( Also, one of the most weird things about this location is that in the mornings when the hot sign is on, they only sell 1 dozen of hot (not fresh) donuts per customer. So if you're hoping to get 4 dozen hot, you won't. Instead, you'll get 3 dozen normal, and 1 dozen hot. I've never been to a location that has a limit on hot dozens for paying customers. I've got to hold off coming to this location. The quality of the donuts isnt the best/fresh and their limit on hot dozens (if they really have hot donuts) is very weird. I know now that if I want a fresh Krispy Kreme donut, I gotta go to another location.
Super disrespectful! Management is trash. The manager and supervisors are so rude to the customers. I been coming here for years and they treated my family and i with such disrespect. Candice the GM was rude and super high all she kept doing were tik tok videos while we wanted to order. How is she running this shop??? She has the worse employees ever, This is so unacceptable . They threw the donuts at us and called us such nasty names. Please don’t go in there!!! They all need to get fired!
I went here on Valentine’s Day to purchase a dozen of the heart donuts. The manager tells me that he can only sell me 6 because other people are coming in “after me” to order some of the heart donuts. Then...I try to order 6 of the heart donuts and then he tells me that he can only sell me 3. It’s not my fault that they don’t have enough donuts for the people after me. All of the staff were rude and they need more customer service skills, especially the manager!
They called 10 minutes before I arrived to tell me that they actually did not have what I wanted for pick-up, and I told them that I would talk to them once I got there. I arrived, and told one of the ladies working that I would just take a refund for my order. She said, "You could have done that over the phone." I then said, "Yeah but I wanted to see what you guys had available here." She then responded in a rude tone, "Well I could have told you that over the phone," as if I was somehow inconveniencing her by even showing up (when it was more of an inconvenience for me considering I had to drive 40 minutes to get there). I apologized and left. Wouldn't recommend unless you like your donuts with a side of humiliation and attitude.
1. Hot Donuts Now sign is on when no hot donuts are coming off of the line. 2. This is not a "real" factory store... the donuts are brought in from elsewhere, heated, and then sent through the glazer. 3. Takes more than 12 minutes to buy prepacked donut holes and milk while they help customers ordering larger quantities who came after you (getting their donuts, ringing them up, and then helping the next customer select donuts all while you are just standing at the register). We left after waiting at the cash register for 12 minutes.
Worst customer service experience EVER! Came into the store to grab four doughnuts. Two plain, and two jelly filled in two separate bags. Not a complicated order, and tried to pay with the Krispy Kreme app, it was like showing fire to cavemen. Nobody knew how to apply payment for the app. Not to mention the three employees standing around while while person was handling customers, getting items and trying to fix the register. I eventually left the store disgusted, angry and without my doughnut. Again, if you want a hot, fresh doughnut please visit any other Krispy Kreme besides this location.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE - I do NOT eat donuts cuz i dont like being fat. Yet, i went here to buy an entire box of “pre-assorted donuts” for the team members that I manage at the office. The only other time i went to a krispy kreme (or any donut store) was 2 years ago, and that other store operated differently- if you wanna buy any donuts, you go straight to the cashier, as opposed to some person who actually puts donuts in a box for you. At this location, i went straight to the cashier. I tried telling her that i needed a pre assorted box but she kept hustling and pushing me and pointing me to the other lady responsible for putting donuts in a box. Guess what? As soon as i talked to that other lady, she told me i didn’t need to be in that line after all, since i was buying a pre assorted and NOT an a la carte box. So basically i had wasted 10 minutes in that other like just because the CASHIER THAT I TALKED TO IN THE BEGINNING REFUSED TO LISTEN THAT ALL I NEEDED WAS A PRE ASSORTED BOX. GREAT JOB KRISPY KREME - YOU SHOULD KEEP REFUSING TO LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS CUZ THATS WHAT KEEPS THEM COMING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poor customer service. Okay coffee.
I don't understand Krispy Kreme's popularity, especially at $2.89 for a single raspberry doughnut.
Do not use the app the delivery service is horrible. The delivery estimated time is not accurate. The delivery guy says he didnt speak English so he couldnt tell me when he was arriving. Go pick up in store save yourselfcthe headache definitely dont tip the delivery fee can cover it because the service is not ideal.
I recently went to this location during my trip around Washington D.C. The staff was very nice to me at first, but the young woman who was taking my order gave me attitude when I told her I wanted a dozen and a half a dozen. Fine, everything is great till I go to pay, and I ended up paying $40 dollars total, I didn't check the receipt until I walked to my car to realize that they have added an extra dozen of glazed donuts that I didn't order. I went back to get my refund, and the young woman still had attitude, I explained to her what had happened, and apparently, she took her time to give me my refund. Today, I checked my bank account, and I still haven't gotten my refund for something I had to pay and didn't want in the first place. Not to mention that the place was disorganized and dirty, too much attitude for a job that pays you for what you're supposed to do. #iwantmyrefund
I paid extra for the assortment box and extra for certain donuts just for them to give me all glazed donuts instead of just letting me know prior to delivery that they sold out. I could’ve just canceled my order.
They don’t respect posted hours. See photo of 8+ people waiting for over 30 minutes for them to “clean their lobby.” They lost so many customers in just this time frame, way more than in the picture. We sat there in the cold rain watching these employees sweep the same spot on the floor…. When they finally opened back up, they closed the lobby after 10 minutes. Very poor business management. This all happened while they had the hot sign on.
I came into this location on Connecticut Ave NW, Washington DC to order freshly made donuts. 03/11/2022 at 10:00 am. The guy picked up a box from under the donut case which I then asked for freshly made donuts. The young lady took the case to the back and proceeded to put the donuts on the conveyor belt to run them through the icing again. The donuts are not fresh and I would like a refund. Also my hot chocolate was not hot at all and tastes like water. I spoke with Amiya who identified herself as the manager and she informed me that this store does not make fresh donuts in the store. She also refused to give me a refund and abruptly hung the phone.
The cash registers don't have a screen to display what they're going to charge you. I ordered 2 dozen doughnuts, but they charged them individual price instead of per dozen so the total was double what I was expecting, and when I was told what the total would be, they constantly mumbled. No help over the phone either. Update: how can a store be so poorly managed. No order to serving customers, asking people to move, calling people to the register then telling them to move and ring up others...
We were there 2 hours before closing but all chairs were up floor was so wet and we were there for special but they were out of all the shelves were empty highly disappointed
Most deceiving Krispey Kreme in North America. You know how donuts are hard and not as good the next day after you bought them? Well it only took 6 hours for that to happen today. I don't know whether these donuts were not fresh in any way or if they were not made properly. The original ones didnt even look glazed
Rude nasty customer service. They never say thank you and don’t even make eye contact. Will never go to a Krispy Kreme again!
I had made a purchase a week ago. The guy behind the counter said if I fill out the survey and use the code, I can get a free gift on my next visit. My husband goes inside today, gives them the code, and was told he had to buy something .... Why did the woman behind the counter tell my husband he had to buy a dozen donuts to get the free gift ?! What???
Terrible experience, I will never come back to this place. The employee was extremely rude and disrespectful and the donuts were cold and tiny. I paid close to $9 for three donuts and received a terrible and rude service.
Jan.19th 2026 I came in to do business in your establishment. Requested 2 donuts which was to satisfactory. With our donuts hot and glazed only came with a roll of paper towels to wipe hands in the dinning room. No hand sanitizer, no where to wash my hands free of the glaze. Three young ladies working and I was told they couldn't help me. I suggested a wet paper towel and was refussed.. I couldn't even get cup of water or something to help me out. I had to buy a cup of water to wash my hands. If I didn't order a drink to drink, why would I buy a cup of water to wash my hands? I'm aware that bussnisses charge for the cup, not the water, this is why i asked for a wet papertowel. Make that make since, please. This was my first time walking into this store and I have to say I was really disappointed in the customer service. This is what ya'll have working in store as a host? The three ladies need to be reminded that customers come first always. Please treat people as you want to be treated. SmH...
I was there on November 16, 2025. Asked for decaf and was told they don't have it. I pointed to the menu, and cashier said Okey. She gave me the cap of coffee, but it wasn't decaf. I couldn't sleep when I drink regular. I could order latte, if I knew she was going to give me regular instead of decaf. Disappointed 😞
Placed a late night order before closing, drove from the se to the DuPont location, tried calling 15 mins before they closed so I could pickup my order and take advantage of the buy one get one for .88. upon getting there MIND YOU at 11 on the dot would've been sooner just traffic, asked about my order to be told by a female employee that they had thrown my order away stating that's what they do if the order isn't picked up by 8, I told her I had been trying to calling them as I was on my way and when I was 5 minutes away , she says " oh that was you that kept calling, we didn't know, my bad but I can give you a refund" customer service went out the widow crazy! If you are still open for business and see the store phone ringing one would think answer it. They missed out on a $20 tip that would've been left as it was late and we recognized that, but no worries.
