Popped in for a bottle of wine and met lovely staff, sweet dogs, and a litter of fresh puppies! Really beautiful space and the wine was excellent.

We had a fantastic time tasting a wide variety of wines. Andy was generous with his encyclopedic and deep knowledge of wine, and his time. Our tasting was a fantastic exploration of different varietals, vineyards, and vintages, including some that were well-aged. The Pinot Noirs and Zinfandels were rich, bold and wonderful, but we were also wowed by the Grenache, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc. When we embarked on a five day wine tasting trip we swore not to join another club, but so many of the wines we tasted were extraordinary that we just couldn't resist joining Bee Hunter's, as it was our favorite tasting of the trip and of recent years. We just kept saying 'wow'. This was not the standard canned formal corporate wine tasting. We felt so fortunate to spend time with a creative genius giving us a tour of his amazing wines.

I had the best wine tasting experience I've ever with my family during Thanksgiving week! Nick was a friendly and fun host who made us feel right at home. We tried a flight of Bee Hunter wines and loved learning about the sauvignon blanc which we got a bottle of! One of the owners, Ally, was there and made sure to welcome us while telling us about the cool history of how Bee Hunter Wine was founded. Sitting outside on the patio, we watched the sunset while sipping delicious wine. It's rare to try and flight where you like all of the wines, so I was surprised that each and every one was delicious! Sidenote: I left my wallet there and they very generously mailed it back to me so thank you Andy!

Exceptional wines, especially loved the syrah and pinot noir :) Andy and Ali are great hosts, giving their tasting room a warm, cozy, homey feel. Can't wait to visit again!

We had a great tasting on the front patio of Bee Hunter Wine today. The distancing and mask protocol worked perfectly. We really enjoyed the 2015 Sauvignon Blanc (bought a case), 2013 Oppenlander Pinot Noir and 2014 Docker Hill Pinot Noir. Didn't catch the name of our wine hostess, but she was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back in the fall!

Schedule a tasting here ASAP!! It is rare to find a winery in Boonville with such a lovely and wide variety of wines. As such, Bee Hunter Wine is a great place to explore what Anderson Valley has to offer. We loved our tasting with Ali, and left the tasting room with sore cheeks from laughing and having a great time together! Can’t wait to go back and buy more wine.

We stopped by because I liked the name. Husband and wife operation. Andre, the Husband and winemaker is from the area and learned his craft at another local winery before starting his own operation. He is a wealth of knowledge. His wines are diverse, layered, varied and fantastic. His wife, who ran the wine bar showed our group great hospitality. If you are in the area, stop by. You won't be disappointed

Wednesdays seem quiet here in Anderson Valley, and Andy brought us a bunch of different wines while patiently answering a ton of our questions about local wine making. Super informative and interesting. The 2014 and 2015 Docker Hill Pinot Noirs were superb, dry, complex wines that we loved so much we had to swing by the tiny area of Comptche to see how high up in the hills the tiny vineyard they sourced from really was (it's pretty high!)

Loved Ally from the Valley!! What a fun place with great wines. Not usually a Chardonnay fan but this one was delicious. Don’t pass it by. Definitely a must stop!!

What a fun experience! Ali was an amazing host. The wines are delicious and good value for money for this price point. We even got to hold her puppies…

Truly fine wines located in central Boonville. Wine tasting in comfortable indoor and outdoor environment with the best possible customer service. Have a good visit with Allie and Andre.

A cozy little tasting room on the main drag in Boonville, with a couple nice outdoor seats as well when weather permits. But aside from that, the wines are some of our favorites in the valley!

Liked it. Booneville coming up. But I bought the "too-good-to-be-true" case of red for $100, and that was what I got. Cheap, kind of nasty. But lot of ethanol for your $$$ though. Fair deal. Of course, they also serve finer wine at a higher price, some quite good. This place is trying.... 3⭐⭐⭐

Don’t join the wine club. The owner knows how to build a dog but not a business. The wines are good and the dogs are cool, but c’mon, man. I was charged for wine that was never shipped. Six weeks later, I inquired and was charged again for yet another shipment. Four weeks later, I inquired about the double order and was assured the wines were on their way. No shipment. I eventually canceled the wine club and asked for a refund after months of nothing but was again assured the wines were being shipped. The wines finally shipped using a two-but delivery service when I was out of town. I tried to change the delivery address but had to go through Bee Hunter. No response. The wines went back to Boonville. I was nice and understanding, but ultimately I had to threaten legal action to get a refund. I must have spent 10 hours in calls and emails trying to get those wines. Forget it.

$30 tasting is really overpriced for what they are. Wines are okay- not bad, but definitely not worth prices they're charging ($80-120). The owner was not friendly or welcoming, the place was noisy with all the dump trucks passing every 2 minutes. Thing is, there are sooo many better wineries around, and there's zero reasons to visit this place. I should have read the reviews more.

The place looked inviting. Unfortunately they had aggressive pups running free inside the place, and one bit my leg! Don't say you are open for business if you are not wanting customers. Skip this place.

Edit.... my mistake, the bottle was 2014 Shirah, not 2019 as stated. Also, I see that the name on the review is Brian, it was me his wife, Lise Not happy at all! 3 ladies stopped in for a tasting, unbeknownst to me, the cost was $30 each for the maybe 3 ounces of wine that you got to taste in total. The young man at the counter was inspired enough and believed in his product. As the driver of the group, which I mentioned a number of times, I took a couple of sips and poured the rest into my friend's glass. The first taste was acidic but I figured it was me, tho the next wasn't very good either. The third taste was ok. Anyway, we were charged $30 each for the tasting which was a big surprise to me and my friends. The deal, which was never mentioned or posted was that the tasting fee would be waived if we bought a bottle...... each! I was not impressed enough to buy a bottle, the cheapest being $60. My friend L bought one at $60 + tax to appease the wine Gods. We opened that bottle a couple of days later thinking that it would be a good bottle to celebrate our day. Guess what..... we poured most of it down the drain..... it had so much sediment in it that you could actually pick it up from the glass with your finger. What a terrible waste and a really really bad bottle of wine. It was the 2019 Shirah .... don't buy it. I would not recommend this place or its wine.

We went to the Bee Hunter tasting room to try their flights & purchase wine. When we arrived there was a small group of people sitting outside drinking wine and talking. The owner was part of the group and got up to chase his numerous dogs. He left with his puppies and didn’t return. I believe that there was a woman in the group that worked there but everyone went inside and shut the door and did not even offer to seat us. It was the strangest, rudest and most bizarre way to be treated as customers.

I canceled the wine club in April 2023 and have been charged for two orders since. Many efforts to reach out and stopped by twice during business hours to find nobody. They're forcing me to take legal action, sign up at your risk
